Nestled along the North Atlantic, this upscale beachfront resort dazzles with chic suites, an inviting lagoon pool, and enticing dining options, making it perfect for family escapes or romantic retreats.
"At the heart of the spa is the Aayush Hydrothermal Experience, a state-of-the-art hydrothermal facility. The only one of its kind in Florida, the 17,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor hydrothermal area offers rituals in heat therapy, cryotherapy, halotherapy, and hydrotherapy. The guided experience features a sequence of hot and cold replenishment pools, a hydro-reflexology path, an arctic chill fountain, an effusion shower, a salt inhalation chamber, sauna and steam rooms, and a lap pool. The fitness and mindfulness center features a 3,500-square-foot main cardio studio equipped with Matrix equipment, along with two separate wings that each contain three studios for group fitness and wellness classes. Classes offered include cardio circuits, cycling, functional training, hatha yoga, mat pilates, restorative yoga, vinyasa yoga, and yoga nidra. But that’s not all: there’s also a 1,200-square-foot hammam for guests to indulge in, partaking in scrubs, wraps, and the Amrit Signature Body Experience, which includes an exfoliating scrub, a hydrating body wrap, foot and scalp treatments, and a massage. There is a long menu of massages, body treatments, and facials, plus the spa offers several beauty-enhancing treatments, such as the Icoone Face & Body Treatment and the MediSpa Facial Rejuvenation Treatment. Treatments occur in one of the 25 rooms, 12 of which include in-room showers. There are also two deluxe couples suites with private steam showers and ocean views and a dedicated Thai massage room. Guests who purchase an all-inclusive wellness package or attend a resort retreat (coming in 2025), can also take advantage of the spa’s Personal Wellness Support System (PWSS), a proprietary web-based platform designed to further customize guests’ wellness journeys before, during, and after their stay through virtual coaching and goal-setting tools, plus access to a large health and wellness content library. For those looking for a customized wellness retreat experience, targeted integrated health assessments are available. Assessments include the Personal Wellness Guide Assessment, an overall wellbeing evaluation with a focus on the five pillars; a Nutrition Assessment, where a registered dietician reviews a guest’s dietary intake and identifies areas where change is needed; an In-Body Evaluation that measures the body’s composition of muscle mass and fat mass; and an Ayurvedic Assessment, where guests are examined through nadi pariksha (pulse examination) and marma point assessment. After an assessment, Personal Wellness Guides will recommend one or more of Amrit’s integrated wellness services to help guests meet their health and wellness goals. These services include flotation therapy, a dry float therapy system that involves the body floating over 106 gallons of warm water without the need to get undressed or wet; hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which takes place in a pressurized pod where guests breathe pure oxygen; acupuncture; sound bath therapy, which uses instruments, including singing bowls, chimes, and gongs; and red light therapy, which exposes the body to specific light wavelengths to encourage recovery. Ayurvedic therapies, a specialty of Amrit, may be recommended as well by Ayurvedic professionals who can perform therapies such as Shirodhara, where a stream of warm, herbal-infused oils is continuously poured over the forehead, and Abhyanga, a flowing rhythmic massage with dosha balancing oils. Finally, there is a salon offering services such as manicures, pedicures, haircuts, hair styling and coloring, and makeup services. In addition, Amrit is incorporating trichology, the study of the hair and scalp, in partnership with Dr. Alan J. Bauman, for nonsurgical scalp and hair rejuvenation treatments." - Devorah Lev-Tov Devorah Lev-Tov Devorah Lev-Tov has been a travel, food, and drinks journalist for more than a decade, with bylines in publications like The New York Times, Vogue, and Bon Appétit, in addition to Trave

"Lobster is cooked up fresh for the pot pie at Marriott Singer Island’s beachfront restaurant, and sour cherries added to arugula salad with crispy pancetta and gorgonzola, made it a textural as well as taste sensation. Black grouper with coconut rice, crab mango salad, and avocado is crave-worthy." - Beth Landman
