"Palm Coast isn’t just a cafe, it’s also a coffeehouse and a pub with a full bar. The cafe is open for breakfast starting at 8 a.m. Order the shrimp frittata with tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions topped with goat cheese and chives paired with an Irish coffee or a bloody mary. For lunch, try the Thai chicken wrap or the ham, apple, and cheddar panini with a beer." - Eater Staff

Google
Highly recommend Palm Coast for brunch. Neat little restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating. Great menu selections! They have a full bar and the bloody Mary was great! I ate the Thai chicken wrap with potato salad! The bagels and lox were delicious too! Fresh and large portions!Highly recommend this dish, it was delicious! I couldn't eat the whole thing! Very interesting decor inside!

Palm Coast is a quaint little coffeehouse & cafe / bakery. Serves breakfast and lunch and with beer and wine selections. The indoor seating is tight but the outdoor seating offers a bit more room. Breakfast was average however the bakery items looked very temping. Servers were stretched, slow, and appeared new to the service industry. We were seated promptly a little before 9am but there was a line when we left.

Google
Unique breakfast spot with indoor and outdoor dining. Coffeehouse cafe style with cocktails. I found it to be a relaxing place to have breakfast and conversation to start the day. Best coffee I have found on the island. Eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes were excellent. Waffles, pancakes and more were on the menu. Service was great, cups were never empty. I also go there just for the takeout coffee.

Fantastic breakfast option.Blueberry pancakes with authentic maple 🔥🔥🔥Sometimes seasonal servers are inexperienced here though.

Google
Fun relaxing environment, I came right at opening for breakfast during off season and it was quiet and no wait. The coffee is strong and the bacon is thick and perfectly cooked. Food came out pretty quick (vanilla French toast with strawberries) and it was delicious. Helpings are pretty generous. Great beach vibes here and the staff were great. Would recommend this place for breakfast and coffee for sure!

Fantastic vibes and food. Makayla was amazing and very efficient. If only more restaurants could find a Makayla! Super friendly neighborhood spot located right in the middle of the village.

We recently held our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Palm Coast, and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The back patio is the perfect place to host an event. The staff was very helpful with planning, and the bartenders during the event were fantastic! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to host an event on St Simons.

Google
One of our favorite places to dine alfresco for breakfast or lunch. Also a great place to pick up hot tea to go. Current favorite: French Lemon Ginger. Baked goods are always fresh, super moist and so tasty. Well worth the calories! Pt. 2: We dine here at least a dozen times each winter and the food is always good and always consistent. The baked goods are exceptional. This is our favorite place on the island to dine alfresco on a sunny day. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars

Yelp
I've visited Palm Coast a lot during my visits to SSI and have always had such a lovely experience. This morning I decided to place an order via Toast for pickup and it was a seamless process. They offer pastries, coffee, breakfast as well as lunch good, and a chill atmosphere. When I arrived, I let the staff know that I had an online order and the food was in my hand in less than a minute. Since my friends decided that they actually wanted to sit down and eat, we grabbed a table and the server was more than happy to bring me a plate so I could eat with everyone else. I had a breakfast plate with scrambled cheese eggs, grits, sausage, and a flaky buttery croissant. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. The portion size was pretty big and I was unable to finish everything at once (yay for leftovers). This is one of my favorite places to come to when I'm visiting because the staff is always super friendly and the food never fails.

Yelp
Nice setting. Good iced latte. Attentive service. Enjoyed the breakfast sandwich with the fresh tomato.

Nia G.

Yelp
A great place to grab an ice coffee and snacks before or after the beach. Plenty of seating outdoors, fast service.

Vicki B.

Yelp
The waitress was really helpful and immediately brought a bowl of water for my dog. If you sit outside, you can bring your dogs. The HUEVOS ESPLENDIDO was delicious. Not too spicy and you can order it in the tortilla or unwrapped. Delicious either way. My friend ordered it without lettuce if you're not a fan of lettuce, that's a good choice. Coffee cups are large for the coffee aficionados and the waitress offered coffee to go in a to go cup. Nice tables outside as well. A repeat visit is required for me.

Ryan L.

Yelp
Slow service, waitress left halfway through our order. My food was overcooked when it finally came out. Waitress made us wait for extraordinarily long time for check, then disappeared for 10 additional minutes when I off my payment card. l damn near left without paying. I was pissed. To add insult to injury, they tacked on a 20% tip when a 10% tip was earned. Ambiance was good at least.

Ash L.

Yelp
It's always good. The brunch is amazing, see your neighbors or some visitors. It's just a great spot. The service is generally very attentive because Palm Coast is always packed and the meals are big. I am always amazed at how fast they bring the food. Coffee is fresh and the drinks are good. It's down in the village so there is plenty to do when you are finished. Hope you enjoy your time!!

Stephen C.

Yelp
Great food, service and atmosphere. We really enjoyed our meal here, everything was fresh, coffee was great. Server was friendly and speed of service for how busy they were was perfect

Molly L.

Yelp
My favorite spot for breakfast on the island! This place literally never disappoints whether you're popping in for breakfast, lunch or even just coffee and a pastry! This time I ordered the strawberry French toast and an iced vanilla latte and both were perfect! The French toast was perfectly cooked just how I liked it and the latte was delicious. We also got a breakfast plate and I had forgotten how much I love their link sausage, it's seriously some of the best I've had in a long time. If you're ever in St. Simons, definitely check this spot out, but be sure to get there early to get a table!

Robin M.

Yelp
Welcoming atmosphere, quick to get you seated and some outstanding multitasking staff. Incredible to see them at work! The Grand Mimosa and the Bloody Mary were a great start and the food was decent. Came out quick and they checked in to make sure we were happy. The grits were just a regular second thought side (like Quaker instant probably) and I'd recommend getting something else, if you're looking for some sort of epic southern grits. Right on the main strip of store fronts and a quick walk from where we stayed, so all in all a win!

Yelp
I tried Palm Coast while in St Simons on vacation. A friend recommended it so I had high hopes, but wasn't blown away. I got the breakfast burrito and it was a little flavorless. I ended up asking for some salsa so it wasn't as dry. My iced latte was way too sweet, but I do appreciate a brunch place that serves iced lattes like this because places that do are hard to find. My boyfriend got a parfait and a side of bacon (which I ate most of 10/10). It's a cute local spot with a nice view of the town and beach vibes, so I'd recommend if you're in town visiting!

Melissa W.

Yelp
I went for a pick up order. They accommodated my requests with ease. The food was delicious and since I had never been inside (only sat on the patio) I didn't realize they had a coffee bar. The man made a great decaf latte. Much appreciated.

Venie N.

Yelp
I came here on Monday morning for the first time while on vacation because the reviews looked good. We put our name down on the waitlist and were told about 40 minutes. After about 30 minutes we went back and asked how much longer and she said 10 more minutes. We waited on the sidewalk right next to the restaurant and after a long while I went up and asked again. She said she already called us and we never showed. The hostess who was working was in my opinion not good. She called the wrong name and even after correcting her 3 times she again called the wrong name. So no wonder we were skipped. She also never called our name "a few times" like she said. She called our names once. Waited 3 seconds and moved on to the next name. That situation is why I'm not giving them a full 5 stars. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered an iced toffee nut almond milk latte and it was okay. I barely tasted the toffee. I had the Egg White Morning sandwich and it was so good! I loved it and the breakfast potatoes were great too! I also had the Paradise Croissant and omg I loved it! It's very sweet but was really good. I loved the strawberries and bananas in it. Our server was also really great! He was nice, polite and recommended us a few things. He answered all of our questions we had and had a lot of knowledge about the food and menu. I highly recommend this place for breakfast but please be cautious you don't get skipped in line because the hostess was not the best.

Carrie H.

Yelp
The house recommended Palm coast Coffee, we stayed at, and the neighbors. The four of us are so glad we listened to them for our last meal on the island. We ate brunch here, and we left so happily and fulled that we took a walk for a bit of shopping after we finished our delicious meals. Our server, maybe Mackenzie, was fantastic. She answered all of our menu questions and helped us make decisions if we needed them. We began brunch with a grand mimosa, iced coffee, and two Bloody Marys, I split food with a friend so we could order savory and sweet. We got the delectable waffle, which is so fluffy with a hint of cinnamon, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries. Our savory was the Caribbean Chicken sandwich. It was the favorite main of the group. Another friend enjoyed her garden egg scramble with potatoes, while my other friend wanted the pimento cheese on sourdough but added two eggs and bacon on her sandwich with a side of chips. We all ate all of our meals but a little bit of the waffle was left. It was so much fabulous food. We will come back if we ever have the pleasure of returning to St. Simons.

Sarah C.

Yelp
Really great food! Loved the outdoor seating. The staff is very polite and kind. Loved the spinach salad!

Kaitlyn B.

Yelp
This was my first time stopping here and I was vey impressed with the grits! I also asked for my breakfast sandwich with a croissant and it was soooooo good!! I would definitely love to go back! It would be hard not to order the same thing!! Great place and atmosphere!!!

Yelp
3.5 stars (4 stars for the food, 3 stars for the coffee). My husband and I ate at Palm Coast Coffee one weekend morning for breakfast while vacationing in SSI. We sat outside, as they have a lot of tables in their adorable outdoor space. We started with two lattes with almond milk and extra shots. I should have asked if their almond milk was sweetened (it was). The lattes were both weak (even with the extra shots), and terribly sweet. I haven't had sugar in my coffee in years, and the sweetened almond milk was such a bummer. For our entrees, both of us had the huevos esplendido - mine without the wrap, and his with. They were both delicious. My husband got the breakfast potatoes which were seasoned well, but not crispy. My grits were the standard variety thin, water-based grits. Neither side was a winner in my book. Service was fast except for the lattes, which arrived after our food. Honestly, I'd return just for the huevos esplendido, and get regular coffee the next time.

Yelp
The wifi doesn't work. Food is good and good service. The atmosphere is nice, outdoor and indoor seating.

Lala C.

Yelp
Second stop on our road trip was St. Simons. Beautiful community and it was sad to see some of the tourist decline impact at this waterfront community. This cafe seemed to offer the largest patio seating and it had a steady clientele. Good for them! The house made granola was popular but I opted for the waffle, hubby selected the veggie scramble with grits for my grits fix! Server was very pleasant and prompt. Cold waffle was replaced although I returned it to the service area directly. Fresh strawberries were delicious. Hot chocolate was hot and made with milk...rather powdery tasting though. Inside the cafe, lots of layer cake options and other treats to enjoy. Note: like many seaside communities, drinking taste was a shock. Unfortunately, it impacted the coffee taste. Still worth a walk around the area...it was just a quicker one than in years past.

Alan I.

Yelp
We had a business meeting and someone picked up lunch for us. I had a cubano sandwich and was pleased with it. I can't comment on the service, since I did not go into the restaurant.

Danielle T.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast this morning with my friend. The place is so cute, it has the seaside feel. She ordered the Caribbean chicken salad sandwich (pictured) and I got the egg white morning. Both dishes were very good! Their bread (and croissant) is delicious. I can only imagine what their bakery items are like! I will definitely be back to try more items!! The staff was lovely, highly recommend stopping in.

Jonathan G.

Yelp
Although I knew (based on reviews) another place in St. Simons would be better for coffee, my wife and kids chose this place because we could walk the beach from our hotel to get there. The boys loved their double chocolate muffins and fruit cup (w/ side of bacon), and I thought the food was just fine (belgium waffle, bacon). My chai latte was one of the best I'd had in a while. My wife wasn't a fan of the coffee. The patio outside was lovely and comfortable. Great service (she was normally a teacher). Really enjoyed it. Only weakness was the coffee.

Lauren M.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant right in the middle of town, food was very good. We got a table quicker than I thought. We tried the garden scramble and cinnamon vanilla French toast. Eggs were very well cooked, ingredients were fresh, and the toast was good quality bread. We also got iced lattes, and they were actually pretty large. Definitely recommend

Cynthia G.

Yelp
Very cute spot in the village. We highly recommend the Georgia wild shrimp rolls - so delicious! Especially with the avocado added on top. Plenty of parking on the street on a weekday - but must be very crowded during busy weekends! And Lizel is a fantastic waitress, very warm & friendly and gives great recommendations.

Amelia M.

Yelp
I liked that you could go in to get coffee or a bakery item to go or be seated for breakfast. They had a variety of coffee and flavors to choose from as well bakery items. And the bakery items were huge portions!

Candice B.

Yelp
A coffee shop being closed on Sundays should be illegal. So disappointed in their hours of operation. SSI needs businesses to be open for locals & tourists.

Joseph B.

Yelp
We eat here every time we come to the island, the last time being late September. We've sat outside each time so I can't speak to the interior, but the shaded porch is very nice. I've only ever ordered breakfast here and it's always delicious. As an added bonus, there are a couple cats that like to hang out nearby so if you're lucky, one of them will bless you with its presence!

Nancy D.

Yelp
We got right in and sat down. Service was slow it took a little while for Our waiter to arrive and take our order. We never saw the waiter again until we had to hunt him down to pay the bill. The food was good but cold, believe it must have sat for a while before it was brought out, we were never offered refills or asked how our meal was. We overheard another waitress telling the daily specials- which our waiter never did. May have enjoyed it more with a better waiter.

Elaine M.

Yelp
The food was fabulous but, there were so many dogs eating out of restaurant plates. Licking the plates that are served to future customers. Restaurant was allowing dogs to be inside, nasty paws on the table, and people petting dogs being held over the table with panting tongues and dog hair flying. This is so unsanitary! Not sure I'll be going back.

Vanya P.

Yelp
Highly recommend for breakfast, including if you're traveling with your dog! The patio is massive (front and back) so there's plenty of dog friendly seating. The staff were kind and patient, the food was great (especially the blueberry pancakes and the breakfast burrito). There's something for everyone on the menu, but it's not overwhelmingly large. The coffee was a little too watery for our taste, but with good food that doesn't end up mattering as much!

Roark R.

Yelp
Two words- Hummingbird. Cake. The place was swamped with customers when I visited but they still happily took the time to answer any allergy questions I had about the bakery items. The matcha latte was excellent as well, a nice cool drink while headed to the beach! I sure do wish I had one of these coffee shops near me so I could get a hummingbird cake every day! The flavor combination is delightful, the cream cheese frosting is thick and rich and compliments the light fluffy spiced cake well! Stop by here for a slice!!

Joe M.

Yelp
Food is ok but we waited 45 minutes for our order. Also , they have a major fly problem.

Christine C.

Yelp
Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Only open until 2 pm and there was a line. So with the wait!

Holly R.

Yelp
Walking by and went to glance at menu and someone walking out who just finished a meal said "eat here, it's the best food." All we needed to hear, so we went in and were seated immediately on a Thursday afternoon. The place was busy and our server was busy but friendly and took our order pretty quick. We sat outside and there is a bit of shade and umbrella tables. Should mention the place is dog friendly (yay!) I ordered the cuban and iced chai tea latte, for my husband iced tea and a club sandwich. Exact words from my husband "that was the best club sandwich I've eaten" and I really enjoyed my lunch too. I wish I could've gotten more of the confetti Orzo salad to go it was so good. Cute place, nice find while wondering around St. Simon for the first time.

Kelly F.

Yelp
Back home sandwich with roasted potatoes. Excellent!! Service was great and location is great. Definitely eat here again..

Whitney T.

Yelp
LOVED IT!!! Beautiful back patio seating, yummy coffee, delicious French toast with fresh strawberries, and great service. GO!

Cheryl B.

Yelp
Best breakfast by far going again tomorrow morning. Great service excellent coffee! Friendly folks

Carla W.

Yelp
I love this place. Cozy and quaint for breakfast or brunch. Service is always great, but be prepared to wait for a few minutes. It's that good!

Kristopher W.

Yelp
Decided to have breakfast here this morning and was seated promptly. Glad we got here before the morning rush. The hostess was very welcoming and accommodating. Our server had great customer service as well. I decided to have the veggie scramble but asked if they could make it an omelette and they were able to accommodate me! I also had a side of the breakfast potatoes. The whole meal was great!

Nakema G.

Yelp
I had a great breakfast this morning at Palm Coast. Im glad I was able to snag a table outside before the crowd came. Our server had good customer service and was very accommodating. I was happy to see the staff members and several customers wearing masks and practicing social distancing. I ordered the bagel and lox. The bagel was very soft and very good. It came with a side of fruit. I would definitely definitely return if I'm ever back in the area.

Ally C.

Yelp
You know a restaurant is good when you visit twice on your vacation. We stopped at Palm Coast for breakfast during our visit to the island. The first time, we arrived around 9:30 when it just started to rain, so we had to wait around 20 minutes for a table indoors. The second time, we arrived at 8:15 and it was nice weather so there were lots of options outdoors. The drip coffee is great and includes refills. The food was delicious! We tried the burrito, French toast, waffle, and croissant during our visits and they were all amazing. I loved the ambiance of the outdoor seating in the back. A great spot!

Devin V.

Yelp
Our server was quite snippy and passive aggressive, Kylie was her name. She was short with us, and forgot my sweet tea. My shrimp roll and orzo salad were great, and everyone enjoyed their food. We really liked this location as well, just wish the service was a bit better.

Tahlor B.

Yelp
SO FREAKING GOOD! The Mediterranean wrap with pasta salad is now my absolute go to. I literally go in the mornings sometimes and just get the pasta salad and a coffee for breakfast. The servers are always super nice as well!

Lynn F.

Yelp
I've been coming to Palm Coast for four years. Although there is usually a wait it is worth it! The service and food is exceptional. The Waldorf Chicken Salad Sandwich is the best I've tasted. It's made with apples and grapes served on toasted wheatberry bread with lettuce and tomato. The Huevos Esplindido is also delicious. They offer both inside and outside seating and are dog friendly which is always a bonus.

Leora C.

Yelp
I am on a lot of dietary restrictions and had the best huevos splendidos and almond milk chia latte is here! Was about to get it without the tortilla and cheese. It was clean, delicious, and well portioned. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to me sitting outside. The view and breeze were lovely. The cat who hangs out here is pretty cute too

Kalimah M.

Yelp
This place was recommended for great breakfast by a server at another restaurant nearby. They were 100% correct. The place is very cozy on the inside. Clearly a favorite morning stop for locals. I had the calypso bagel which was AMAZING! The flavor of the pesto and sun-dried tomato tapenade were perfect. The spinach and tomato was perfectly cooked into the egg. I'm a huge fan of feta so I could have had more than what they put on the sandwich but the perfectly toasted Asiago bagel made everything that much better. My partner had the Cinnamon Vanilla French Toast with a side of cheese eggs. The French toast came with strawberries and whipped cream on the side. He gave a report of 5/5 as well, as he scraped every morsel off the plate. *the cats grooming themselves on the patio were a nice touch lol

Ben M.

Yelp
This place is deeeeeeeeeelicious!!! Breakfast or lunch is a win win win here. Server was Cassie, she is very nice and friendly. Recommend Thai wrap, pimento cheese, and chicken salads.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Just the best food and hospitality! Couldn't recommend any better even if I wasn't Julie's sister-in-law.

Josh C.

Yelp
Had the breakfast plate. Grits, eggs, bacon, and toast were all great! Loved the outdoor seating!

Molly B.

Yelp
Went to try their highly recommended BLT and we were not disappointed! Bacon was thick, tasty with the perfect balance of crisp and chew. Fresh tasty tomato, crisp lettuce and avocado too. The bread is toasted and still soft. The Orzo side salad was super tasty. Came home with a couple of in house baked muffins and a slice of banana and a slice of pumpkin bread. Service was great. Sat outdoors and enjoyed the sunshine and Martin the cat!
