San Francisco Has Officially Reached Peak Caviar | Eater SF

"At the RH empire's Palm Court in the Dogpatch, I encountered a caviar service offered in three price tiers that even tops grilled avocados with luminescent orbs, marrying luxury roe with unexpectedly casual dishes." - Flora Tsapovsky

Went to have dinner and listen to the sounds of TiChi. Food was good, service had opportunity. Didn't attend to us very well, but when we got the good it was very good. Entertainment was outstanding, he worked the room with great energy.

We just left Palm Court restaurant in Arlington Heights. Had dinner with friends I had the chicken Marsala with a mushroom wine sauce on top of mashed potatoes. I thought it was delicious, portion was a little small. they topped it on mashed potatoes, It was half of a half of a chicken breast, but nevertheless it was very tasty. My husband had the coconut lime cod on top of rice, he said it was okay but wouldn’t order it again. One of our guests had the prime rib and said it was outstanding. We had some great cocktails and awesome desserts we ordered the chocolate cake and the brandy Ice it could’ve easily served 4 to 6 people. Our server Will was outstanding. He made some great suggestions on cocktails and also on the menu very attentive. For four people our check was $350 including cocktails. Bottom line, would we go back again? most definitely!

Google
Great food, ambiance and service. My husband ordered the lamb and thought it included a little too much rosemary, however, it was incredibly tender and the server offered to replace it without the sauce. So great customer service and attentiveness. I ordered scallops and they were delicious. I requested the lemon Beurre blanc sauce to be placed on the side and to my surprise, the lemon was subtle and complimented the scallops. But it's great that the scallops weren't enveloped in the sauce and didn't need it. Very positive dining experience!!

We celebrated our 25 anniversary in this fin r dinning restaurant. Waitress Brianna is amazing and the management are understanding and accommodating. The food is good, the atmosphere is decent, and the prices are acceptable. I am giving this place 5 stars because of the way the manager handled a little menu related issue we faced. Full was very professional and accommodating. I’ll be back again for sure

It was my wife’s birthday. 20 in attendance. Food was terrific, service was terrific, prices terrific. It had been some time since the family had dined together there , for reasons that had nothing to do with Palm Court. After tonight’s fun we all agreed we are going to spend a lot more time at PC! Best, Scott Hoyne

Update to response. I misspoke when I used the term “twice baked. I included a screenshot of the “loaded” potato description. My potato did not have any of the items listed. Also, I the steak was cooked so hot and quick that it was VERY rare inside so I placed both cut sides down on the hot plate to continue to cooking. The butter probably would taste good had it not been burned and bitter. We decided to use our gift card on an early dinner which meant the place was quiet. Our server showed us to a booth overlooking the patio. First up, a summer old fashioned. A delightful blend of bourbon and peach-perfect blend of intense bourbon but summery peach flavors. The house salad and dressing was fresh with great pieces of lettuce using more than the ribs of romaine so that was a huge plus. The creamy Dijon dressing was some of the best I’ve had. Unfortunately, my steak was burned on the outside but really rare on the inside. I was able to cut it in half and salvage it but the Blackhawk butter was burned. The twice baked potato was okay but not exactly how it was described on the menu. It needed the bacon and some seasoning. Our server was very sweet and attentive making the visit very enjoyable.

Nice night out, great dinner with table side Deboned Dover Dole, Filet over potato with a red wine reduction, great Christmas entertainment

Google
This is a "swanky" restaurant, themed after the night club singers of previous generations: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. Nicely decorated in 1980's style with leather booths. This motif appeals primarily to older people (50+). Service was very good and the food is reasonably priced. After dinner, we sat at the nicely-appointed bar/lounge and listened to jazz. This was entertaining.

Yelp
I was here for a colleague's birthday party. Think 1940's Rat Pack, Sinatra. Their onion rolls are AMAZING. I'd sit at the bar and eat their onion rolls all day. The entrees we chose from were a steak dish, chicken, and pasta. My steak entree was excellent. Kids all seemed to get cheeseburgers. Service was impeccable. I'd 150% return and you should go there too!

Yelp
Really good food and atmosphere, well made dinners and a variety of choices. Had the 20oz ribeye and it was very good, with twice baked potatoes on the side and cheesecake for dessert. Will return. Sunday night was empty, but I was told they offer a pretty nice Sunday brunch.

Yelp
Service was amazing! Food was pretty good. Kid friendly as well and accessible. Came here for a group reunion and the champagne was flowing freely. A little pricey but was pretty good and was worth it to spend time with my friends and family. Lots of parking. Nice live music. Lots of variety of foods included with brunch package. Lots of desserts too. Champagne and coffee is included as well. Definitely coming back next get together with my peeps.

Yelp
Started off with some nice bread with cold butter I would've liked the bread a little more toasted. The server was very nice and brought me more bread and toasted it a little bit longer. I had the French onion soup was so so it was a little bit to sweet Oyster Rockefeller was fantastic. We should an entrée of duck ala orange with wild rice, head, big pieces of onion and peppers. And bayleaf. Still very full and so much food left the duck is so good . So much left over . Next time I think I'll just eat the oysters. So good.

Yelp
I tried the Steak & Frites and it was good, the seasoning was very good and the fries were crispy. My partner tried the fettuccine Alfredo although he asked for chicken and didn't receive it, he said it was still yummy. We would definitely come back to try other food items, the ambiance was very old school and the waiters were friendly.

Yelp
This place has the best macadamia halibut I've ever had and appetizers amazing scallops. The coffee is even good. I've been going here for a few years now even on New Year's three times in a row and I've never had a bad plate of food. Do you feel like dining with older people And service is a little on the slow side but food is great. This is the place to go.

Yelp
Went here for birthday brunch. Service there is second to none. What's great hard working crew they have there. The brunch was great , an excellent assortment of food and desserts. The atmosphere was great. Parking lot big with easy parking Haven't been here yet ? Put it on your must stop List , you'll be glad you did.

Yelp
The ambience is amazing here. We came here for a late lunch and ordered oysters on the half shell from the East Coast delicious ordered a rice bowl with chicken and avocado very good and my husband had the steak burger which was juicy and fresh! Only thing i that I didn't enjoy was the onion soup. Although my husband had the clam chowder and enjoyed it very much service

Yelp
Had the BEST chopped salad off the regular menu but at the bar during happy hour. Happy Hour sliders @ $7.00 per order, were delicious. House martinis (Gin and Vodka) are $7.00 during Happy Hour. Same for the Old Fashions. Happy Hour Oysters at $2.00 were just great. Regular menu in the dining room is very good.

Yelp
LOVED my time at Palm Court for dinner! I so enjoyed the entertainment they had going that evening and want to come back for their 45th anniversary dinner special. I had the steak kabob and onion soup. Both were INCREDIBLE! Entree portions are generous--I had leftovers to spare. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The food was delicious, I had Fettuccine Alfredo. Michael was our outstanding Server and the entertainment was very mellow.

Yelp
Originally, we came here for the happy hour oysters. The cheap price really set us off and we were craving oysters, so we decided to visit. Upon entering, we were seated right away. Woman was kind and we ended up having to move to the area where the lights are dim in order to get the happy hour. There were two sides to the restaurant so I'm assuming the other side is for adults only since there's a bar. It looked nice and the various lights added color which really tied the room together very well. The food was good and the oysters tasted fresh and I loved them. The pizza bread was good too and the fries were amazing. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sandwich wasn't very good though. The grilled cheese had little cheese and we didn't end up finishing even one half of it. Though this place had some flaws. It's a generally nice restaurant and I would still recommend going here for their oysters!

Yelp
Went for brunch. Food was good, the standout was the prime rib. Service was non-existent which is normal for a buffet, no refills were provided unless you tracked someone down. Nobody advised me that Champaign was included, so I never got any. The bill came and a 20% gratuity was automatically included. Being a buffet and terrible service, the tip was not justified. It was annoying enough that I won't be back again for brunch.

Yelp
Loungy supperclublike atmosphere - delicious steaks, salads, apps and adult beverages - and an okay Billy Joel who oddly morphed into an Elton John at the end of his set. An over-50 crowd - friendly staff - they also serve Sunday Brunch and do private events.

Yelp
My wife was skeptical having been there before. I had always wanted to go and friends from the city were visiting. So we made a reservation. Service was great, food was more than acceptable. Ambiance was charming and somewhat anachronistic. I'm 62. My table mates were 52, 59 and 56. We were the youngest table there. They put us right up front show casing our relative youth. We had the snails and shrimp cocktail(huuuuuge). Salads or soup was a nice break. Then the entrees. I liked my steak. Can't remember what everyone else had but they liked it fine. Planning on revisiting for the holidays. Checked out the bar area with the Sinatra singing trio. Nice set up. If I make it to 80 I'll be there every weekend too.Love you Palm Court. See you soon.

Yelp
Palm Court - we've lived in this area for almost 40 years. In all that time, we've said we wanted to try Palm Court but only did once we went on December 30, 2022. We had reservations for 6:30. Given the reviews I read, I expected a long wait after we arrived. No, we were seated right away. They put us by the window. It was cold out, and the windows were drafty. So, we asked and they moved us to a warmer table. We had a nice, relaxing meal and good conversations around our table. We ordered drinks first - a Pinot Grigio, a Martini, and an Iced Tea (for our designated driver. The meals were a combination of steaks and vegetables. Pinot Grigio: There were two varieties available by the glass. Since we ordered a Pinot, I'm still determining which one we got. I was very good. Martini: Vodka, dry. It was okay. I think the waitperson misunderstood when I said "no ice" to think I said "no olives." No matter. As it said, it was alright but far from the best. Vegetarian Platter: There were a variety of seasonal vegetables served in butter (yum). Filet Mignon: For a filet, this was a very large cut - 12oz char-broiled covered with butter. It came with your choice of potatoes and grilled carrots. It also came with their house salad. This one was with ranch dressing. It was ordered medium and was cooked perfectly. We ordered a side of mushrooms. And we ordered bearnaise sauce for the steak. The waitperson should have remembered to bring the bearnaise and the mushrooms. We asked and they returned with the mushrooms about 10 minutes later. The sauce never showed up. I ordered the USDA Ribeye (20oz thick prime cut full flavor). This was an enormous cut of meat. It was well-marbled, but it was not trimmed well, so there were huge chunks of fat and tough meat so it was about 12 or 13 ounces - still large. It came with a salad - I had their house dressing, a garlic vinaigrette. The salad and dressing were very good. I also had baked potato and carrots. I also ordered asparagus, which came with bearnaise sauce. I can't eat that, so I left it for the Filet. (I also had a second martini.) We ordered chocolate mousse for dessert. Again, I can't eat due to dietary restrictions, but I was told it was excellent. Service: Service was fair. They were relatively quiet, so the service was surprising. Our waitperson was absent for most of our meal and I already mentioned forgetting some of our meal. When we were ready to leave, they were nowhere to be found. I had to ask a busser to find our waiter. When we received the check, we were charged for the bearnaise sauce included with the asparagus and the sauce they didn't deliver. it took a few minutes for our waitperson to understand why I disputed the charge, but $8 atop a $200 meal is still $8. They did revise the bill before we left. So, in sum, while I've been to better steakhouses, this has large portions, including rolls and either soup or salad with the meal. The vegetables were perfect, and the filet was also done perfectly. The service is fair but certainly okay. And the prices are considerably lower than in a traditional steakhouse. I do want to try it again. They have a very good menu with many options, so there is much left to try.

Yelp
Even though I have passed by this place, so many times I didn't come to until today my expectations were surpassed tremendously. They had two dollar oyster, happy hour in their lounge area and the oysters were absolutely humongous. They tasted amazing and better than any other oyster I've ever tasted in my entire life, and the restaurant had pretty decorations and nice lighting and palm trees in the lounge area. Well, the dining area was very elegant and classy. The food was really good, especially the garlic pizza bread, very light and airy and delicious and flavorful. The grilled cheese with fries was also OK. The fries were very crunchy and fluffy on the inside which I almost ate all of them. The grilled cheese on the kids menu, however, was not so great it was very And it tasted like cardboard. I would not recommend getting grilled cheese, but I would recommend that you get fries and the oysters. Even though this might be biased, since it was pretty empty, the service was really good. We got seated right away, and the waiter told us that happy hour happens only in the lounge, and she was willing to move us to the lounge, and that was very kind of her And our food came really quick she gave us our complimentary bread and she did a job really well and I would recommend this place, definitely gonna be coming back for those oysters!

Yelp
We first started going to Palm Court in the 1970's We used to dine there at least twice a month. We stopped going there when the ownership changed and the quality of the service and food diminished. We recently heard that the interior of Palm Court was remodeled. We decided to give the restaurant a second chance. We went there last Saturday and were pleasantly surprised. The remodeling was very tasteful, the service was excellent and the food was very good. We will return.

Judy K.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant. I ordered flaming Saganaki as an appetizer. For my entree I had Shrimp Dejohge. My friend had delicious Scallops. Service was excellent. We will be returning as there is entertainment on the weekend. Great ambiance with comfortable leather booths. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I was so disappointed... I've been wanting to come here for years. My wife and I finally made it in the Saturday after Valentine's Day. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I make a reservation, get there at my time and they say you'll have to wait 20 minutes. That's just bad planning. Luckily it ended up being closer to 10 minutes so it wasn't as bad as they said it would be. I did notice the hostess was wearing bright white tennis shoes. I might sound over the top here but I was shocked to see that at a place that tries to be a classy steakhouse. When we were seated at our table the lamp at our table didn't work. We also weren't given a cocktail menu. When I asked for the cocktail menu it looked like it was a special Valentine's Day menu, and it only had 4 cocktails on it. Was very disappointed in the selection. We were given bread, but no butter knife. We buttered our bread with our forks. They were out of the one appetizer I wanted, the Oysters Rockefeller. We ended up with the calamari which was very basic and had little flavor. The marinara was good thankfully. For our salads my wife asked for French dressing, I asked for the creamy garlic. The waitress put ranch in front of my wife and French in front of me. Luckily I like ranch, too, so we just switched. I had a side of garlic mashed potatoes. They were put in front of my wife. And I noticed the same waitress put dinner plates in front of the wrong people at the table across from us, too. My filet was very OK. It wasn't as juicy or as tender as I expected, especially for a steakhouse. The mushrooms we ordered as a side saved the steak. The corn in my wife's mahi mahi dish tasted like it was canned. I understand it was a busy Saturday, but it's not like this is a new steakhouse. They should be able to handle a busy day. Probably the worst $200 dinner experience I've ever had. We will not be back.

Yelp
Met up for a easy, uncomplicated dinner with an old friend from Arlington Heights. Palm Court was recommended by my wife for a low ambiance, quiet dinner. This is a place where you can talk to a fellow dinner with your inside voice! From the moment the host greeted us at the door, to the wishes of adieu, the staff was great---efficient, friendly and attentive, but not hovering. We decided to skip appetizers (although the show boating, flaming Saganaki smelled great as well as the calamari) and just got entrees. Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken was done to perfection--creamy, Al Dente pasta coated with cheesy goodness. Preceded by dinner with salads and house rolls, I ordered the Chicken Marsala with seasonal veggies and a baked potato. Everything was done well, served quickly and hot. Irving, and his trainee, took good care of us and even remedied a mis-ordered ice tea. Our beverage glasses were never empty and the temptation of dessert was great but I have the will power. If you stop in, save room for a dessert as they looked excellent. Good job and keep the diners coming back! #ChickenMarsala #chickenfettucinealfredo

Yelp
We came here for their Sunday champagne brunch buffet. At $38 per person, this is a steal for the bottomless food, champagne, coffee, and live saxophone player. However, by the time we got to our reservation at 12:30 the sax player was finishing up. We also got the tail end of the food, as they stopped bringing out fresh food so we picked from trays that had been sitting out. Service was great though with our continued asks for refills on coffee (super small cups), champagne, cleaning our plates. We did get charged extra for a cappuccino (was not made clear) and 2 sodas (also not made clear). As for food selections, I liked that there was prime rib, and it was delicious. Everything else was standard brunch buffet items though nothing was stand out or of great quality. They also didn't have any smoked salmon. The dessert selection was minimal - I liked the cheesecake but it was gone by the time I went for a second round. The chocolate fondue fountain was also turned off and didn't look appetizing because it was sitting out and curdled. The small cinnamon roll pastries were tasty though. Overall, it was a good deal and glad we tried it; but we have definitely had better brunch buffets in the area.

Yelp
Classic Steakhouse feel. Full bar with cocktail menu. Happy Menu 3-6pm Mon-Thurs in the bar area. All the food from here has been very good. From the Baked French Onion soup and Baked Goat Cheese to the Duck meat dishes and fish. My only complaint is that they do not have allergy information on theirs menu. As a person with food sensitivities it is very hard to plan ahead. Luckily they have a lot of straight meat dishes and the fish can be grilled to avoid gluten and other common allergies in toppings/sauces. French Onion soup is also gluten free if you don't have it with croutons. Mashed potatoes, rice side, and twice baked potato all have butter. I personally end up getting just the plain baked potato as my side.

Yelp
This is a very quant finer dining restaurant that is great if you're into local food. We were probably one of the younger folks there, but that didn't matter to us. It still has the 90s feel to it, which is fine because I really appreciate that experience (call me old fashion, eat a peach if you don't like it). We started off with calamari, because who doesn't want calamari. We got it grilled and they were perfect. Not hard to eat and well seasoned. We also got the escargot. Full of butter and flavor, it was one of the reasons why we went. My husband had the duck. It was delicious. Not too chewy or gamey and they did a flambé at the table, which was cute. The sweet sauce wasn't overpowering either. My favorite dish is Chicken Piccata, and the portion (for both our meals) was quite large. I had enough for at least two meals. We topped off our meal with the gigantic and moist carrot cake. If you're wondering, we pretty much had a full bag full of goodies to take with us. Dinner the next day was just as wonderful as it was when we went to the restaurant. The service was great and prompt. They also have a bar on the side with singers/bands (Italian Rat Pack type of singers, which is nice to experience once in a while) and specials on drinks during those events. I do wish it was slightly more updated, but at the same time, the older ambiance is quite nice.

Yelp
We have enjoyed our previous experiences at Palm Court. It has that older, Sinatra could have eaten here vibe, you get soup/salad, starch and vegetables with your entree, except obviously the pasta entrees. That being said, it seems that Mother's Day gave the restaurant a case of the holiday up-charges. A prime example was my Belvedere dirty martini with a blue cheese olive. $22.00 with a $2.00 martini upcharge. Prime rib was $56.00, so nobody ordered that. The rack of lamb was $49. The Dover sole and chicken piccata were in the ballpark of reasonable prices, as was the beef Wellington. The piccata was a huge disappointment for my wife. Why use cream? A great piccata needs olive oil, wine, capers and plenty of lemon. The chicken breast was nothing special, kind of just the protein on the plate. I cannot see ever returning to this restaurant if they profess that there were only modest, or laughably, no upcharges. The food is good, but not Michelin star good. Reevaluate your pricing schemes to keep your clientele.

Yelp
What to improve? Let's start with the parking lot.. lawyers must love this parking lot, potholes everywhere. It's like it was part of a war zone and considering the clientele, which a good majority are senior citizens, lawsuits have to be part of the daily routine.. the waitress looked miserable, had a bad attitude and gave snarky remarks when she took our order..The food, God awful.. I asked for well done on the steak and it came back raw, disgusting! The ragged waitress that didn't want to be there, took it back to the kitchen and brought it back as if it came out of the microwave, which it did.. I left it on the plate and gave it a burial in what I think were mashed potatoes. Ditto as far as the quality of food for both my wife and Mother, both said they needed a jackhammer to get through their steak, tough as hell...Folks avoid this place, looks great inside but that doesn't cut it if the service sucks and the food is god awful...I predict this place will eventually close..

Rodd S.

Yelp
Anniversary dinner 7:00 reservations Served at 8:30 with an attitude Was a favorite restaurant no longer manager talk to me had made me feel worse and all I wanted to do was just tell her how bad I felt on my anniversary because of their service. No more after 25 years

Michelle H.

Yelp
Very disappointed. I have been coming here since the 90s with my family but have taken an extended break. Here is a photo of how dusty the blinds are right where the food is sitting, and this is seen throughout the length of the buffet by the windows. I normally don't post reviews, but I tried sending this dust photo to the restaurant directly. There is no email or online form, so this is the only way to share. Food is sub-par. Most of the hot food is cold, the meat is falling apart, and the sauces got thick and clumpy from sitting out. The salad station mentioned for the brunch buffet is a disappointing two pieces: premade salad and dressing. I did not see a waffle station as mentioned. The toaster does not toast as I inserted my bagel 4x on high, and it came out barely toasted or warmed. The people working there don't know what to do with their extra time from not having to serve you, so they just stand there talking and block all the walking aisles. I don't know how many times I had to annoyingly say "excuse me" to get to my table and back to the buffet. There is also no one at the greeting counter. I walked past four times and never saw a soul to speak with. I guess this is how they want to obtain feedback. Overall, just a very unpleasant experience. I know this was their first buffet, but dust, food temperature, walking logistics, and available personnel should have been figured out ahead of time. Very sad.

Yelp
Everything Was Perfect From Start To Finish! Kristen is A Outstanding Waitress, She Made The Birthday Dinner Very SPECIAL For My LADY!!! Food was Hot And Delicious!!! THANK YOU! Darrell and Joanne

Yelp
After the sitting in lounge area was not to our satisfaction (small tables) the hostess, Sarah was very dismissive. Sarah did not offer any alternatives. A customer interceded and suggested we sat at the bar until a bigger table opened. Way to go Sarah! I'm sure the upper management would be delighted to know how you treated their financial gains. Thank you Gil and Laura

Yelp
We just got back from a wonderful dinner at Palm Court. If you've ever seen movies from the 50's where diners' are sitting in an elegant super club with table cloths, great food and soft music, and always attentive servers, this is exactly what Palm Court is like. The steaks and sea food are second to none, their specialty is prime rib. Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong This year Palm Court is celebrating 45 years in Arlington Heights. They've lasted this long because of the food, service and elegant ambiance. As I said, it's like going back in time to an earlier, classier age.

Yelp
Went today for the first time for the Sunday champagne brunch. It was pretty good but would I recommend? Not sure. The price was a bit expensive that's why I am not sure if I would recommend. The inlet station was really good. Was not a fan of the waffles and French toast was just ok. The only foods I had were the filet medallions, the chicken limone and the prime rib which were all very good and their desserts were awesome as well. That's why it gets 4 stars for the food and the service and the restaurant is very nice just thé prices are pretty steep . If you have $40 per person ti spend than by all means yes GO!

P N.

Yelp
For the second year, we have reserved a room for 18 for a pre-Easter family dinner. This year was no different from last year--the food was excellent and the service exemplary. The Palm Court staff took excellent care of our party and we all had a great time. Thank you all to the Palm Court for a wonderful experience for all of us!

Yelp
I choose this place to celebrate our anniversary here. The ambiance is nice, and I thought it will perfect for this occasion. After all, here is my impression: The food is excellent! Really, really good. Salad, grilled calamari, and top sirloin- everything was perfect! Service- super! The only thing I didn't like is the average age of people who were sitting there :-). Mostly elderly people. I don't have nothing against it, but at one point I started wondering what we are doing there. The only two people younger than 60. (we are in our 30s) But I have to give them 5 stars because everything was great!

Yelp
this is the second time that we went to Palm Court in the last couple months. We love the bar we loved the music. The food is fantastic. We will not be going back there because this is the second time in a row that our reservation was not honored sarah. The manager is the most rudest person in the world. She is the the hostesses as well as the manager and she is very mean and rude to her patron and her customers. I suggest you don't go there even though everything about the restaurant is fantastic. You just can't make a reservation and you can'ttrustthe hostess manager . There are many other restaurants in the area that have the same ambience and food and music without the rudeness, and in consideration of their patrons.

Yelp
Attended a group dinner last night. First time I've been there. The place was packed, which is always a good sign! It won't be my last visit. Food was excellent, server was very attentive, and the manager came by to thank us for coming in and to make sure everything was to our liking. I was very, very impressed. Will definitely keep this place in mind for a special occasion, as they have private/semi-private rooms for smaller groups. The band/singer was really good, played a lot of familiar songs. A great experience.

Yelp
Warning: Even though I gave Palm Court a good review back in June, something new has come up that you should know about. WARNING: The dessert menu does not have prices, so be prepared to pay $20 for one slice of their Key Lime Pie! No kidding! Now, the waitress did tell us that it's a big slice of pie, but didn't tell us the price. I consider this to be a deceptive practice, not to have prices on a menu and not to have the wait staff inform you of the prices without you specifically asking. So don't say that nobody warned you...

Yelp
Deceptive advertising! Tired of the bait and switch. Made reservations through open table for a lounge seating. Get there and was told the lounge has been booked for weeks. THEN WHY LIST IT AS AN OPTION?!?! For the same reason their happy hour specials do not state their specials are for the bar only. They tried seating us at a regular table and refused to offer any compromise on their specials. As usual, this place regularly lures customers in under false premises. The hostess tried giving me lame ass answers about it being Open Table's fault and us not reading the rules. I checked! Their website says absolutely nothing about any 'bar only' restrictions. I hate it when an establishment tries to play us off as stupid. This isn't the first time and Palm Court must be hurting bad as to consistently stoop so low as the make the clients feel clueless. Do not patronize this place or risk being misled and ripped off.

Yelp
Food was obviously precooked for the holiday rush, came out room temperature and burnt!! Quality of food has gone way down. I could go into detail but not worth my time, many negatives. Emailed the restaurant and one month later no response given, I don't think they care much. Worst $800 food experience I've had, by far. A shame to see this establishment turn unsavory. Never again. The two star is for our server, she was great.

Yelp
I've never had a bad time at Palm Court! It's in a convenient spot, there's parking and most importantly, the staff has always gone the extra mile to give us great service.

Yelp
I've been coming here for almost 30 years and today I was shocked to see that the menu had changed. We asked if some of our favorites could be made and was told yes. The portions were much smaller, never asked how we wanted our meat cooked, or what kind of potato we wanted. It was all served on this big white plate and the food was a bout 1/4 of the plate, but the price was enormous for what we received. They don't even put vegetables on the plate any more. Favorite baked onion soup was so so. Server and hostess were very young. Bus boy or whoever offered water once after we paid our very large bill. The place looked beautiful and had been updated, but the old supper club feeling was gone. Just not great. And for a Friday night it was completely dead. Now I know why.
