Google
Miso butternut scotch latte > The matcha orange blossom tonic threw me for a loop and not in a delicious way. Happy to try it though. Lots of people just hanging out mid day or meeting together.

I picked up a Miso Butterscotch latte, a Mocha, and a blueberry muffin. Everything was so good. Will visit again.

Google
Palm Grove Social is THE SPOT for delicious drinks, community focused, friendly, genuinely KIND staff, and a place to sit amongst nature on sunny days. A great place to do work: there's a bathroom, outlets, yummy seasonal drinks, AND a beautiful space-- what more can you ask for?! (they just expanded their indoor space, too!!) 10000/5 ⭐️

Google
5 Stars Palm Grove Social is a vibe. Great coffee, chill atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly. I usually grab an iced americano and hang out on the patio—it’s one of the best spots in the area to relax or get some work done. The space feels clean, modern, and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite neighborhood hangouts in Mid-City.

I usually go here for their pastries. I ordered a cinnamon and as I was chewing I felt something weird and this plastic thing came out. It’s really disgusting.

LOVE PALM GROVE! The coffee is made with so much intention and warmth, you can taste it. The outside patio is the perfect escape to enjoy your drink + side in a busy side of mid-city. My favorite local spot I now frequent and work out of daily :)

Palm Grove Social is an oasis of calm and natural beauty within the concrete jungle of L.A. The entrance to the shop is guarded by heavy metal gates which open into a minimalistic space with vibrant green plants spilling down the walls. The two baristas were helpful and quick. The cold brew is full of flavor and the iced mocha is a smooth, delicious treat. The back patio is surrounded by a variety of plants, which give the area a shaded, cool feel. Oldies music gently played in the background, completing the chill atmosphere.

Google
Favorite coffee spot (in the world probably). We’ve been coming here multiple times a week since they opened. Super nice people. Best cappuccino. Matcha cake donut is amazing. Enclosed patio with lots of shady space and tables to work. Good wifi. Another review said they didn’t have a bathroom but they definitely do and it’s clean and easily accessible.

Yelp
Best coffeeshop in mid city! The coffee here is excellent, whether you just want a nice espresso or a fun treat. Everyone's super nice, the seasonal drinks are always lovely, and the patio is such a hidden gem. Some other spots have opened up nearby and they just can't compare. I live within walking distance so I pop in a little too much, but I've always had exceptional coffee here and friends always fall in love with this spot when we hang on the palm patio!

Yelp
Had a terrible experience first time coming, stood at the register, waiting to be helped and one of the baristas is coming back from her break. Allowed a guest to step directly in front of me not acknowledging me and then proceeded to ring her out and when I walked away in a bit of a disbelief with my relative about the customer service barista attempted to blame it on the customer she was willing to help without Acknowledging me at all, and then wanted to blame the customer for her lack of social awareness and not the barista poor customer service will never be back.

Yelp
Great roast! I had the Americano and it's a hit. My first time here and I'm hyped to come back to try other drinks. They have a cool setup inside. Somewhat limited seating but open space. Service was good. Very brief interaction in the am. Ambiance: A Drinks: A Parking: B- Location: C Service: A

Yelp
I was thrilled when this coffee shop opened a few years ago. They have a small selection but the staples. The baristas are friendly and they carry a variety of pastries. If you're here for lunch they do carry salads and sandwiches as well. Their patio are is so cute and feels like a little oasis outside of the busy city.

Yelp
I am so lucky PGS opened nearby. It's part of my Sunday routine to stop in for a cappuccino and a pastry. The beans are independently sourced and the whole milk is with Clover brand leaving the coffee drinks smooth and creamy. I don't know how PGS does it but a drink is still under $5 which is rare nowadays. The pastries are from a local vendor, serving some of the other small coffee shops around here, such as Neighborhood. Everything is delicious, including the croissants (if you go early enough you can get a kimchi spam one), cookies, muffins and donuts. Follow PGS on Instagram. They have pop up events with local vendors, donation based yoga, and more.

Yelp
Honest opinion, While the inside and outside are beautifully decorated and designed i must say, it's very over priced and I believe they have one size for drinks. The ham and cheese croissant was also dry and seemed to be more on the stale side. Did not taste fresh and felt like this before on a previous trip. It's a small size croissant and it felt like it wasn't worth it. Lovely magazines, and other reading novelty that they curated on display, but the drink and breakfast was not it. I've been a midcity resident all my life, and I think about our community and it's clearly going to bring a different crowd. The old crowd knows they can get something else, elsewhere. Price reference: a drink and sandwich 17 bux. Yikes.

Yelp
Cute spot and all the baristas are nice but it's soooo expensive. I got a matcha latte, a lavender latte, and 2 of the premade sandwiches in their fridge and my bill came out to $46 dollars... $52 with tip. I understand that everything is more expensive now but I don't think that the two drinks and sandwiches were worth the hefty price.

Yelp
So glad my old neighborhood finally has a coffee shop. Love the atmosphere and the drinks are tasty

Yelp
Easiest yes of my life. I would abbbbbsolutely come back and it was based on my first five minutes in their shop. Aesthetic? Cute and curated. Hospitality? Warm and gracious. Coffee? Smooth and creamy. Pastries? Fresh and flavorful. Loved that it's unassuming and a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. My husband and I took ourselves out on a coffee date and it was oh. so. blissful. Wish I caught our barista's name because she was top tier! Thank you, Palm Grove! We'll be back! ALSO coffee was pleasantly and surprisingly affordable? Like, I said. Easiest yes, we'll be back of my life.

Yelp
This is a relatively new coffee spot in Mid City, and it has one of the cutest outdoor patio areas I've seen for a coffee shop! Note that it isn't directly connected to the shop, which itself is actually a small room at the corner of the intersection, but you can walk a couple steps down Palm Grove Ave to get to their patio area (stop at the gate). It was empty when I arrived around 10:30 on Sunday, but it was perfect for enjoying my cappuccino ($4.75) and croissant ($5.15). It felt like a nice little oasis, and I ended staying for an extra hour reading an e book on my phone. The cappuccino and croissant weren't anything special, I'm afraid, but I would definitely come back just for the pure vibes of the patio. Great for groups!

Yelp

Yelp
This location just opened up a couple of months and what a gem it is in the community. The coffee is delicious and well crafted. The people are very personable and excited to be there. There's a patio that I missed which I'll have to check out next time. Pastry selection was good and average priced

Yelp
Very cute vibe. I had the iced miso butterscotch latte and it was delicious. Smooth caramel flavor, but not too sweet, and even though it was iced, it didn't taste watered down. We shared the cinnamon roll and the chocolate hazelnut croissant- the latter blew me away- but the cinnamon roll was good too.

Yelp
Today's walk stop was Palm Grove Social, cute, clean, mesh of genre vibe. Great service. Decent prices. And very tasty coffee and treats, had the banana bread and americano. Recommended!

Yelp
Overall a peaceful coffee shop/patio with reasonably priced, delicious drinks! Drink: I had a chai latte with oatmilk that came out to be $5.50, very reasonable for LA. It tasted great and had the perfect sweetness level (sweet but not overbearing). Service: Quick and friendly service. I was the only one there at the time. Ambience: Inside is small with cute decor but not much seating. Their patio behind their shop is big with many tables and umbrellas to shield you from the sun. The plants and greenery make the patio a peaceful environment. The area is kept clean.

Yelp
Nice coffee shop taking shape here. I really enjoyed their outdoor patio out back it was very nice. Their menu could use an upgrade. I got the vanilla latte and it was delicious but not filled all the way to top. Also it's a small size need a bigger coffee.

Yelp
Always friendly. Great coffee and delicious pastries. The patio is a nice escape. I love that they host community events, Art and music.

Yelp
Love the little patio area and the vanilla latte was great! Would definitely be back for another great cafe experience

Yelp
pretty decent iced latte, but not so "wow". the pastries were yummy, i got a ham and cheese croissant. i did really dislike that on their lovely patio, there were people smoking cigarettes. never see that in LA. sigh. would be cool if they had a "no smoking" sign, at least in the morning when i'm just tryna chill and drink my coffee! they do have a multitude of other events, at night. i appreciate that they are attempting to create a little enclave in midcity. looking forward to what's to come to this new place -

Yelp
Best cappuccino / iced cap, great baristas, they'll remember you and your order. Nice hidden back patio area.

Yelp
Solid americano? Check. Yummy chai? Check. Cute vibes? Check. A new spot in Mid-City hiding on an unassuming corner off of Washington Blvd. Their menu is straightforward and located on the wall next to the door as you walk in. They even sell merch, books, and zines! A really cute spot! Tried it on the way to the Wellington Square Farmers Market. It was well worth the drive over. 10/10!!

Yelp
This place is lovely. The coffee drinks and great and they have uncle Paulie's sandwiches and pasta salads available for food options. There is a cute patio out back and parking is free on the street.

Chelsea K.

Yelp
This cafe had a great variety of tea options and the price was only $3.50 for a cup which I think is a pretty good deal! I got the turmeric ginger and it was perfect as the weather was pretty chilly and there was only outdoor seating. I'll definitely be returning once the weather gets warmer since there's good WiFi and a cute little outdoor seating area in the back of the cafe!

Yelp
What a great new spot in Mid-City! Cute little patio in the back with umbrellas for shade, fun pastries, good strong coffee. I can't wait to spend more time here!

Sincerely N.

Yelp
I love their cappuccinos and their matcha tonics are so good! The patio seating is well designed and feels like a little oasis. My favorite neighborhood coffee shop

Yelp
They sell merch but don't have WiFi. Go figure. Pretty white. Coffee is okay. Food is indeterminate. Actually most of the menu is. They just seem to be happy to have a customer.

Yelp
Where to start? Pros - The lattes are tasty - The space is very eye-catching and artsy - It's clean - Andrea & Matthew are so adorable and sweet - Mich is dreamy (ask him about traveling) - Elliot is extremely warm and engaging Cons - They're not walking distance to my house. Seriously, I tripped along this joint and it has been a refreshing spot to get some java and good vibrations ever since. Long live PGS!

Marcie D.

Yelp
Amazing customer service! They are friendly, welcoming and even happy to see you. The food is fantastic and coffee is fantastic. Will be back

Yelp

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop to hang out with your friends! Coffee was really good! Definitely will be going back

Yelp
Coffee is great - I'd say 4.5 star on coffee itself. They know their coffee - not experts but with solid knowledge. Espresso shots are on point and the quality and texture of their milk is consistent. With a bit more training for the team they could become really good. But the fact they serve you coffee in glassware is greatly appreciated. Food - it's okay. I think they should explore more opportunities to build their breakfast setup. Croissants etc seems to be from same provider as Alfred's. The team is sweet and the vibe is chill. Super cute backyard in the back to hang out in. I live in the neighborhood and it is a nice edition to add here. Keep up the good work! Work on the food side and maybe start working with some pop-ups to come by and serve some other food as well.

Yelp
In town visiting from Atlanta. Just stopped by Palm Grove Social for a cup coffee it was fantastic. I Ordered the americano, the notes and taste was off the chain. great coffee. So good I probably stop back by there and get me a bag of coffee beans to take back to Atlanta with me.

Yelp
Happy to be walking distance to this pop up style coffee spot and breezy courtyard. They have one size coffee... "too small" ;) but it's strong and just right on the weekends. Welcome to the neighborhood PGS!

Jaylin C.

Yelp
THE NOT TOO SWEET VANILLA LATTE YOU DREAM OF. I also had a spinach and cheese croissant and it was the best I've ever had. I am way to lazy to ever leave a review, but it would be an injustice to keep the knowledge to myself! Queer zines and photo books while you wait. Thanks!

Laurel M.

Yelp
This spot is not only beautiful, but the service is great and so is the coffee. Being greeted by one of my all time favorite books on a recommends shelf felt like kismet. (the book: A Little Life). Such a lovely add to this historical neighborhood.
