The Best Things to Do in Palm Springs

"What began in 1938 as the modest Palm Springs Desert Museum is today one of California’s best institutions for contemporary fine art, American Western art, Native American art, and natural science. The museum has of three locations, starting with the large main campus in downtown Palm Springs. That central, three-story building and courtyard itself is a national landmark for its Modernist architectural style, housing 28 galleries, a lecture hall, sculpture garden, museum store, and the Annenberg Theater, all within its 124,000 square feet. And you can find it easily, next to Downtown Park’s giant Forever Marilyn sculpture. About a 10-minute walk south, the Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center–Edwards Harris Pavilion shifts focus from fine art to structural and spatial work. Like the main campus, it was designed by E. Stewart Williams and carries forward more of that quintessential midcentury style. It’s also home to the Bradford W. Bates Vault, the cool museum design store. The third location is the Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden, about a half-hour drive south in Palm Desert. Across its four acres you can explore a landscaped oasis with winding walkways, native plants, and sculptural works by several modern masters." - Kelsy Chauvin

"It shouldn't come as a surprise that this well-cultured city of 50,000 has an art museum that rivals something you'd find in New York or LA. The building is architecturally significant (of course), there's an ongoing calendar of great events (it has a 400+ person theater), and the gift shop is excellent, too."

New Curator from Paris, France has given the museum revamped exhibits and fun things to check out. Worth a visit now….the big aluminum-looking house next to the museum (separate ticket) looks interesting. Too hot the day we were there to see what it was about.

Three floors of amazing art! Must visit if you are planning a trip to Palm Springs. They have a cool cafe on the lower floor. Watch out for some mountain goats at a distance from there.

Walking through the Palm Springs Art Museum feels like stepping into a dream woven from imagination, light, and meaning. Every turn invites you to pause, reflect, and feel something new. 1. The Tower of Plates – A tall spiral of soft yellow bowls, stacked with gentle motion like a dance paused mid-twirl. It feels playful and peaceful — like balancing the everyday with the infinite. 2. The Sitting Couple – So real, you almost say hello. But they’re sculptures — a tribute to quiet moments, rest, and togetherness. There’s something comforting in their calm. 3. The Painted Man and the World – A large figure with bright colors and a globe at his feet. It speaks of responsibility, hope, and the weight of being human. It feels like a reminder: the world is in our hands. 4. The Red Heart Seat – Bold, soft, and shaped like love. Whether it’s a chair, a sculpture, or both — it radiates joy. It’s the kind of piece that makes kids smile and artists stop to think. 5. The Upper Gallery View – Smooth floors, open light, and a graceful path around sculptures that feel like guardians of time. There’s space to breathe here. 6. The Starburst Chandelier – A sculpture above, reaching out like a frozen firework or cosmic flower. It brings energy to the ceiling, like light suspended mid-bloom. 7. Etched Faces in Grey – Delicate lines form quiet faces — as if the wall is remembering stories from another time. Subtle, thoughtful, and timeless. 8. The Glowing Core Artwork – A burst of color and light layered over blueprints and dreams. It feels like electricity made poetic — like the spirit of invention glowing from the inside out. 9. The Mountain Sculpture – Earthy, raw, and textured. Like a piece of nature brought indoors to tell its story. You don’t just look at it — you feel it. 10. The Seated Figure of Squares – Made of many blocks, yet whole and strong. Sitting with arms around knees — like someone thinking deeply. Peaceful. Present. Beautiful in its stillness. ⸻ Final Reflection: PSAM is a place for thinkers, feelers, and wanderers. It doesn’t shout. It invites. Whether you’re wide awake or walking between worlds, it welcomes your gaze with kindness and color. Update: “Originally gave 5 stars based on what I thought was a positive experience. But after being unexpectedly fired and realizing how fake the environment really was, I can no longer recommend this place. Disappointed and hurt by how things turned out.”

Google
Fabulous museum with a variety of modern and old pieces. Loved the building, the mix of art, Hockney exhibit, Hansen piece, Calder and flow of the museum. It’s fairly small and compact so very manageable to see the entire collection. We entered from the downstairs on the parking lot side and there was Lu one person paying in front of us. When we came upstairs the line to get in was 25+ people deep. The outdoor sculptures by the cafe were a hidden bonus. Loved the mix of art and mix of people enjoying this museum.

Google
Lovely museum. Reasonable size so one can tour it in just an hour. There is a small cafe in the outdoor basement sculpture garden. It’s a great place to visit.

Google
Such a cool museum!! We went on the same night as Villagefest when the museum is free. We saw a fabulous David Hockney exhibit there and vowed to come back to see the rest. It’s right off the main strip in downtown Plam Springs

This museum is a real delight if you love modern and contemporary art. You can speed through the exhibits in 45 minutes, but there's plenty to admire if you want to stay for longer. Be sure to see the sculpture garden.

Wonderful to see the Hockney Exhibit! Lovely space with interesting pieces. Calder, Warhol and lots of sculpture! Aluminaire House also very interesting!

Yelp
Palm Springs Art Museum is dope! I really enjoyed a lot of the more unique pieces here. I'm not an art-head by any means, but this ended up being one of the more enjoyable museums I've been to. It's not far off the main downtown Palm Springs drag, plus you get to walk by formerly-from-Chicago Marilyn Monroe and 13 other cool art sculptures not inside of the museum, part of the Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden. Closed Mondays-Wednesdays, you could spend an hour walking through more quickly like my friend and I or I'm sure hourS if you casually take it all in. 5-8pms are not only free nights at the Museum but also the most busy time of the week. So heed caution and still support while you're there! I won't detail too much, you can check my photos if you'd like, but experiencing in person will be so much better. :) It's such a cute local gem, I'm into it~!

Yelp
We arrived just 15 minutes before closing time. I was able to see the 'Aluminaire House' which was not inside the museum. It was located in the south parking lot of the Palm Springs Art Museum, down the block from Museum Drive. Visitors are not allowed to go inside the house, but they can look through the large windows and examine the siding. I understand that it was a groundbreaking example of using new materials and technologies to create affordable housing. I was informed that it was designed as a prototype for mass-produced, How fascinating!

Yelp
The PS Art Museum is just wonderful. We have been a few times now and there is always new art to see and love. They have a vast collection of super cool modern art and more traditional art as well. The entrance fee is reasonable. It is cool inside, it is so hot outside a lot of the time. The staff are super nice and very knowable about what the museum has and what is new. Parking is easy. it is a must stop if you are in town.

Yelp
Visited here during my trip to Palm Springs and was thoroughly impressed. I've visited in the past but the artwork on display this time around was really interesting and was more my taste in artwork. My favorite piece I saw was the Larry Bell they had on display and the lighting they used was very effective in showing the piece. The workers were friendly and we overall had a great experience here. Love this place!

Yelp
The museum is beautiful, spacious, and located right in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs. There is plenty to see and lots of walking to be had. I enjoyed many of the exhibits. I am taking off one star for the nude male photos. I understand that is art, and it was beautifully done. However, this museum allows children and I would not want the kids in my family to see something like that. I'm not a prude, but perhaps a large 18 and over sign above that exhbit would be great. If there was one, I did not see it. Overall, this is a place of history and I'm glad I got to enjoy a visit.

Yelp
Beautiful museum ! David Hockney special event was super cool. The whole museum was enjoyable to the whole family. Kids loved. Must see when you are in Palm Springs.

Yelp
Excellent break from the heat and have time to enjoy, absorb and be inspired. Raising a glass to all our artists.

Yelp
This museum is changing enough to when we go back we always see something new and amazing! This is a perfect 1st date place. Not to mention you get your walking on. There are shows as well, and an eating location. Don't forget to check out the outside art. You will be happy you took my advice on here!

Yelp
Palm Springs is all about Mid Century Modern, so it should be no suprise that most of the art here is modern contemporary, which is my favorite! You're not going to find classical Renoir, Monet, Borticelli, Picasso, or paintings of Jesus dying. It's mostly all post 1900s art...weird, zany, funky, unique, wild, eccentric, and though provoking arts. Be sure to visit the bottom floor gardens as well, more groovy stuff to see! For $16 Adult, its a good way to spend 60-90 minutes, especially if its ridiculously hot outside!
google avatar

Travis P.

Yelp
I feel this is a smaller art museum than others that I've been to. You can easily finish the whole museum in about an hour. Thought there were pretty cool stuff especially the one exhibit where there were two realistic looking people. I got in for free using my Bank of America Card (Apparently it's free first Saturday/Sunday of each month if you have BOA). We also used a student ID to get the $8 student prices. Overall it's a pretty decent Art Museum. Note - There is an underground area that we almost missed so don't miss out! Parking - Plenty of free parking on the street or nearby parking garage, just follow the signs.

Yelp
This is an interesting museum originally founded in 1938 that moved several times before settling in its downtown location of Palm Springs. I'm sorry I am missing the Aluminaire House (tm) Grand Opening. Take advantage of Free Thursdays from 5 to 8 pm. Use the free parking garage and after viewing the art, cross the street to where several streets are blocked off, and stores and restaurants are open late for VillageFest. Back to the art. You can't miss Forever Marilyn by Seward Johnson -- how could you miss it, she's 26 feet tall. I liked the Norman Zammitt Exhibition which is there until October 14. Zammitt is a pioneer of the Light and Space Movement. For a small museum there are several impressive works from internationally known artists. I also liked the glassworks and the piece by Anthony James. Between the mountains and hiking and time by the pool, soak in some culture at the Palm Springs Art Museum.

Yelp
Amazing experience! There's a wide variety of art for all ages! The museum is big, clean, fresh and welcoming! Prices were very affordable. Children were free! Every employee we spoke to were friendly! Parking lot has EV chargers as well. Great experience! Would come back again.

Yelp
This was a small but beautiful museum full of many different mediums. My favorites were the glass exhibit and this cool light piece near the entrance. We were there during a Thursday night which is free admission. They also had live music playing. Great stop to see some interesting pieces.

Yelp
Wasn't sure what to expect after the mixed reviews in yelp we were pleasantly surprised by this museum. It had a wide selection of art, mostly contemporary but a mix of everything. The building itself is a maze of levels and nooks. My favorite part was the downstairs path to the sculpture gardens. Loved the Picasso pieces. There are adjacent free parking lots and discount admission options for teachers, students, and different age brackets. The docents were knowledgeable and kind and plenty!

L L.

Yelp
We had a great time at the museum. The David Hockney exhibit is excellent. It includes so many of his works in different media and from many decades. His versatility is amazing and the exhibit really showcases his work and originality. We enjoyed the regular collections as well. I was delighted to see photographs by Nan Goldin and Robert Mapplethorpe, in addition to pieces by Matisse, Warhol, and many lesser known but truly inspiring artists. The museum is a nice size. It is not overwhelming but showcases smartly organized works in a setting that makes viewing the art easy. A lovely and varied collection. There is free parking across the street. If you have a Bank of America card you can visit the museum for free on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month. They also have teacher and senior discounts.

Yelp
It's not the Met, but for a local gallery out in the desert, the Palm Springs Art Museum fully exceeded expectations! We dropped in on a rainy winter day and it was the perfect way to burn half an afternoon while waiting out the weather, experiencing some local culture, and learning a thing or two! There was a small but fascinating exhibit of some of Picasso's lesser known artwork in the basement. It would have been easily missed, except you have to pass through it to get to the outdoor sculpture garden. I'm glad the volunteers (docents?) on the mezzanine mentioned it to me. I probably would have otherwise breezed right by it. Oh, speaking of the folks working/helping out at the museum, there were two extremely sweet daddies who took me under their wings and shared some fascinating tidbits about the artwork. As someone who's never studied art history and is generally obtusely literal, I frequently struggle to appreciate art -- especially art that doesn't look like a thing. These two kind souls offered me some unsolicited context behind a couple of the exhibit pieces, which genuinely increased my appreciation for both the venue and its collection. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a robust diversity of artists and inclusive language describing the artwork. Acknowledgements to indigenous tribes and queer creators made the experience of visiting inclusive and thoughtfully representative. Plus, the price is right. One adult and two senior tickets racked up to $44, a very reasonable fee for about 1.5-2 hours' worth of entertainment. I probably could have spent another hour or so happily exploring, but we had other plans to keep. Pro tip: the ticket is just a receipt; no need to show it to anyone after you've paid.

Yelp
What an absolutely amazing experience!! I must admit, I am not much of an arts person. So when a friend of mine added a trip to the Palm Springs Art Museum to our vacation itinerary, I wasn't the most excited person. But I agreed to tag along anyways, expecting to be pretty bored and hoping to get it over with quick. We visited on a Thursday night that they offer free admission to people to tour facilities and artwork. I was very impressed & somewhat shocked at the full extent of festivities that the venue put into the evening. There was live music & a cash bar, which I was not expecting at all! They also offered a 'game' where you had to find certain artwork in the entire facility, write the artist and title of the piece. Then if you got a certain amount, you win and got a sticker as a prize. I know, it's just a sticker... but I was thoroughly proud of that sticker! Hahaha! That little scavenger hunt style game made my visit so fun and forced me to really pay closer attention to the artwork. I actually walked away learning more about this art & it gave me a much higher level of appreciation for the artists and their work. For an experience that I hoped to get over with as quick as possible, we actually spent a couple hours here and I thoroughly enjoyed my time. Well done Palm Springs Art Museum!

Yelp
Palm Springs Art Museum is a short walk from downtown and a nicely done smaller city museum. Parking is close and free. Tickets can be purchased in advance but it's not required. I'd plan to spend at least 1-2 hours as it has 3 floors plus a small sculpture garden. The outdoor sculpture garden is small but has some seating options so you can relax and soak it all in. The building layout is part of the whole experience and a really cool space. I enjoyed the exhibits -some very unique pieces and interesting venue.

Ryan G.

Yelp
They made me leave my $40 reusable water bottle at the entrance because they don't allow them in the museum, which is understandable. But they LOST my cup and took no accountability for it, wouldn't even refund me for a ticket to offset the $40 worth of my property that they lost/stole from me.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Wow we were greeted as we walked to the museum by this giant sculpture of Marilyn Monroe. The Palm Springs Art Museum is definitely a must visit. We were amazed by sculptures made of glass and there were some more amazing exhibits there. From my recollection, there are 3 floors of art. There is plenty to see: There is an elevator! Bathrooms were very clean and this museum was near North Palm Canyon Drive where all the main stores and restaurants are located. So you could easily go to lunch and visit the museum afterwards or vice versa. See the pics I took but of course the pictures don't do the museum justice. You must see it in person. We parked in a free public parking lot. There is parking all over the city. We went on the free day so it didn't cost us a dime. Check with their website to see which days and times are free.

Ann M.

Yelp
Love coming to this museum. It has a nice balance of offerings which include local historical displays.
google avatar

Yelp
Free every week on specific day from 5pm to 8pm. They do have art work on rotation on the first floor. A decent sized store with a lot of expensive but cool items worthy of looking at. Splurge by all means. Take a piece of artwork home. Really enjoy the atmosphere. Staff are courteous and professional. Bathrooms nice and clean. Air conditioning on blast. 3 floors of art. Health professionals free, and many more, check their website.

Yelp
After many trips to Palm Springs (my favorite happy place!), we finally visited the Palm Springs Art Museum. It was beautiful, spacious, an architecturally gorgeous building and the art was STUNNING! The people working here were very helpful with questions and the whole experience was perfect. There is a lot to see here and I highly recommend visiting this museum on your visit.
google avatar

Tameka L.

Yelp
I've been able to see both the free art accessible to the public and the interior and gardens of the museum . It is well done and opens up your curiosity. It was very easy to walk around everything that is outside the museum as there are paved sidewalks , cross walks, etc.The installations change of course,so what might be there today might not be tomorrow.
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
What a lovely place! They have a great collection - contemporary, sculpture, regional and well-known. It's moderate in size, with three floors and an outside area too. I enjoyed the open concept and the selection in the museum shop. They recently started being open on Mondays.
google avatar

Winter B.

Yelp
Had an awesome time at the Palm Springs Art Museum! I would definitely check it out if you're in the area. Every Thursday night from 5-8 they offer free admission which is so nice. There's 3 floors. A large variety of art. Nice gift shop at the end. Great location right near shopping area and many restaurants.
google avatar

Juan U.

Yelp
Very nice museum, well displayed pieces and great variation of artists. Loved the Picasso exhibit and his sketches. Also loved the huge multi medium sculpture from metal to glass. Will def come again and explore more.
google avatar

Randy O.

Yelp
One of my favorite museums, it never gets old. Always something interesting or thought-provoking or classic. Never disappoints.
google avatar

Smith N.

Yelp
This just a restroom review. I found a restroom on floor 3, to find a tranquil spot that has reduced foot traffic interruptions. The decor is simple, a bit retro, but it's an open stall, meaning it'll show your feet. The stall has a sliding latch to ensure proper security. There was a gap in the door, but not very wide. They didn't have any hooks to hang anything, but there was a small ledge. Paper was standard and generic. There were very minor interruptions, overall, would stop by again!
google avatar

Cindy W.

Yelp
My visit to this museum was somewhat disappointing, especially when comparing it to the Met (where I often visit as a resident of NYC). The admission was quite steep, offering little value compared to the vast, diverse collections at the Met. Additionally, the customer service at the front desk was slow and inefficient, further detracting from the experience. Lastly, the exhibitions were average at best and weren't very comprehensive. I wouldn't recommend visiting this museum in Palm Springs, especially if it were your first time visiting the area.
google avatar

Carmen H.

Yelp
Nice art museum... lots of different paintings and items. Went in there to cool off from the hot weather. Really enjoyed the experience. The only floor we couldn't go up to was the 3rd floor due to member only event of new exhibit. Would have been good for everyone to check it out since many visitors are from out of town.
google avatar

Rob C.

Yelp
Love this place. The ambiance is spot on and it is a good place to go when you're visiting downtown Palm Springs. I usually couple going here with going to the street fair on Thursday nights as it is free on Thursdays from 5-8pm and they even have live music downstairs that has a solid evening vibe going on with good bands and artists. The art is nice too although you won't find art comparable to a Van Gogh or Louvre but there still some good displays and sometimes, there are even drinks and snacks sold.
google avatar

Cathy B.

Yelp
It is an amazing museum. I highly recommend it. I liked the spaciousness, the atmosphere and the exhibits. Everyone I spoke to there was very helpful and knowledgeable.
google avatar

Mary C.

Yelp
Every time I come to Palm Springs I make sure to stop by the museum. Three floors makes up for some really interesting permanent/ temporary exhibitions. I appreciate the use of space, the galleries are very spread out which is helpful when it gets busy. I'm able to take my time and read the wall panels without getting in anyone's way.
google avatar

Cj P.

Yelp
Came here mid day, great staff and very knowledgeable. It's a small museum that can be walked in about an hour and a half. They have some amazing piece.
google avatar

Tiff L.

Yelp
It was my 2nd time here in over15 years. But this time I came alone and experienced everything from top to bottom! I arrived at 12pm on the dot and left around 2:30 or a little after. It was a trickle in of people, but by the time I was leaving, it was getting busy and noisy. But i brought earbuds to drown out the chatter. They have some really cool exhibits (i'll post later) I think only one was interactive though. There is a sculpture garden outside, but it's minimal. However, they have plenty of seating without plenty of people and it's a serene outdoor space with a water feature in the middle of it. I like that they have online tickets. I just walked right in.
google avatar

Brena E.

Yelp
There is plenty of free parking in the area. I got my ticket online and showed it to them at the front desk, but then I had a security guard come up to me 5 minutes later and he said that he was told I didn't pay. He was nice about it, but that was weird. They have some cool art in an interesting building. It took me about an hour to get through and it wasn't that busy.
google avatar

Cassey L.

Yelp
Has 3 levels, including a lower level and an outside sculpture garden. Stairs and elevators available. It's kinda quiet and echo-y and there are some delicate pieces, like the glass sculptures, so probably not the best or most interesting experience for very young children, but I saw a few families while there. There are a few bathrooms available including an all gender restroom on the main floor. A great and contemplative afternoon, especially if you want a softer experience after shopping and walking all day.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Best large art museum in PS. Good permanent collections, especially glass, and new exhibits Open late, and free, on Thursday nights. Same night as the street fairs. Look for Marilyn

Love P.

Yelp
I recommend going to the Palm Springs Art Museum as a destination when visiting Palm Springs. There were 3 floors of galleries featuring art from the mid-century to contemporary on the day I visited. I really enjoyed the exhibits of African artists (Amoako Boafo, Oluwole Omofemi & Serge Attukwei Clottey), Latinx artists (David Alfaro Siqueiros & Gustavo Montoya), and Indigenous artists (Dan Namingha & Gerald Clarke), as I hadn't had the opportunity to see their art before. There was also a great exhibit called Luz + Cambio featuring incredible uses of light. My critique of the museum is there were far too few feminine artists represented. The museum is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so plan accordingly. It is so close to great shopping and food so you can easily plan a full afternoon around this.
google avatar

Manish C.

Yelp
The Palm Springs Art Museum seems to be on the recommendation list for practically every Palm Springs area travel video or guide, so made it a point to check out. I have had some good experiences at small city museums, but wasn't overly impressed with the permanent collection at this museum. I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of modern & contemporary art, but I personally found many of the exhibits bland, with decent works of art few and far between. I would rate it 3.5 stars at best for a small city museum. What I liked the most was the rotating (non-permanent) works of art on display, including the local artist feature, the Native American art pieces, and the small Picasso exhibit on the bottom floor which leads out to the sculpture garden. It was these works and the incredibly friendly staff which factored in my decision to round up to 4 stars for my overall rating. The Palm Springs Art Museum is a decent way to kill a few hours on a free day in Palm Sorings, but wouldn't consider it a must visit type of place. There is plenty of free parking adjacent to the museum, and the main attraction out front is the iconic Marilyn Monroe statue which is the perfect photo op spot for all visitors to the city.

Allison W.

Yelp
Tip: On Thursdays admission is free from 5-7 :)) It was a lovely space to walk around and see beautiful pieces! Lots of lovely art to see and enjoy, especially with 3 levels within the building! Great time and experience!

Yelp
I drove from LA to see one painting here: Helen Lundeberg's 'Still Life with Pears,' an acrylic on canvas from 1985. A co-founder of Subjective Classicism, her focus was to guide viewers to a deeper meaning through imagery. I think many art movements can lay claim to that premise but the flat almost abstract geometric images of Lundeberg's paintings are meditative. This still life encapsulates all of that for me and I kept walking back to this painting several times during my visit. Yes, it was worth the drive.

Yelp
Awesome. It was great live it you should go enjoy Have fun Palma springs is wonderful

Yelp
I love art museums! We were in this area on a Sunday but didn't have enough time to explore. I read that they have free admission on Thursday evenings (5-8), so we walked over here around 630 and the place was hoppin'. They had a DJ and lots of people walking around. They had a good range of pieces, mostly modern and contemporary which I enjoy. They have a cafe and an outdoor garden with a few sculptures. I liked the glass structure near the entrance and the additional exhibit of glass pieces. They had a neat color room and a mirror room you can walk in. There are three levels with plenty to see, but not too much that it takes too long to get through. We were there for an hour until we started hearing their closing call. The staff was super friendly and there are donation boxes around to leave some cash, nice to do especially when admission is free.

Yelp
I love love visiting Palm Springs and this is a MUST go! Absolutely lovely collection of paintings, sculptures, vases, and other types of art. Nice size spot (got about 7000 steps in a few hours), staff is very helpful, and there's lots to see. They host cool lectures (my fav so far was on one about 90s music and American architecture). Admission is about $16 bucks (pretty sure THUR are still free). There is plenty of parking (and extra across the street). Check this spot out!

Casey M.

Yelp
Pretentious and a reminder that rich white people ruin everything around us. Arrived in time for the guided tour to start, only for the guide to wax poetic about how Elon Musk is a genius scientist (hint: he is neither) and try to start a conversation about how AI art will surpass humans (really starting to sound like Elon made a donation here to promote this bullshit as vast majority of artists are against AI duplication of art). Incorrectly used Israel to describe the country that holds Jerusalem (hint: it's Israel-occupied Palestine). Blatantly displayed an "Israeli-born" artist (who was born in the 1920s, before the state of Israel existed) in clear view adjacent to a work by a Palestinian artist that was hidden behind a column. This is just another self-serving ego-fest for rich white people who own art to see who donated the most in the museum.

Yelp
Palm Springs Art Museum is a great place to visit while in Palm springs there are so many different collections to view, I love seeing all the creative pieces. For the most part 99% of the workers here were very nice and went above and beyond to thank us for visiting; however there was 1 employee that was absurdly over the top raising his voice when we were taking a photo; on the displace of course it says not to touch and we were not touching because we respect the art but the worker said since it looked like it we needed to not even be close, he made such a big seen it was really horrible and one of his co-workers came to us after to apologize and explain his reasoning behind making such a big seen. We left after it was a bad vibe that changed our view and feeling on be there. If it were not for the employee for sure I would have given a 5 star review.

Yelp
Thursday nights are amazing here! Stopped in while walking the village fest and there was a lot of great things to see the new lights addition was fantastic. We were able to get some headphones for the silent concert and was able to walk around the museum while listening and dancing a little. You are also able to go downstairs and have a refreshment of your choice. Definitely recommend going on a Thursday night to see the different pieces this place has to offer.
