Phoenix’s Best Restaurant and Bar Patios for Outdoor Dining | Eater Phoenix

"Downtown Phoenix’s hippest new hot spot offers sushi, fried chicken, and Asian small plates in a resort-style setting crowded with palm trees. Upscale decor and upbeat music lend an on-vacay vibe, backed up by creative cocktails and lots of snacky options. It’s become a go-to for weekend brunch (think matcha French toast), happy hour, or a romantic evening near the fire pit." - McConnell Quinn

Google
We can hear the first full day of our trip to Phoenix. We were not sure where to park or where to go in for patio seating. We were seated right away because it was not busy, (it was a Monday at around 3pm?) our server was kind and attentive, only complaint was that it took a hot minute to get the bill and a takeout box. It’s quite the hike over to the bathrooms if you are out in the patio. Overall the decor and vibe is relaxing and so cute. The fountains and plants, love it. We each got a drink which weren’t bad but wouldn’t get again, and some food, nothing like that I’ve thought twice about or wish I could get again. For food: crispy chicken bowl- no gravy as described but still yummy? Also the limes noodles which had a good flavor to them. And drinks we had the lychee lowdown, and prickly mojito which we both like our drinks. The vibe and drinks are the reason to go. I’d come here again tho to try the sushi and the vibe is just so cool and unlike anything at home in MN.

Google
We wholeheartedly recommend Palma, a phenomenal restaurant in Phoenix. Their slogan, 'Paradise State of Mind,' perfectly encapsulates our experience. We savored the fresh sushi, smash burgers with salads, and a decadent banana, waffle, vanilla bean ice cream, corn flake crunching toppings with maple syrup dessert. Crafted cocktails, including a handcrafted Mai Tai and a cold NA beer, complemented our meal. The service was exceptional, with our server Neal providing attentive care throughout our date night.

Google
Place is really chill and has a good vibe. Food was good but it is kinda pricey for what you’re getting. I know it’s in DTPHX and you kinda pay for the atmosphere of it all, but the ratio from money to food is a tad bit off especially when it came to the big appetizer platter. Anywho we had a great experience and this place def needs to be hit up.

Google
We had a great experience at Palma Phoenix. From the start, we were greeted by a very nice hostess who seated us right away. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive, making sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. We ordered the Galbi Short Ribs, Sushi Nachos, House Salad with Bulgogi Salmon Skewers, and a Cheeseburger for my son. Everything came out well-prepared and flavorful. The only dish that missed the mark a bit was the short ribs — tasty, but a little chewy instead of tender. The egg that came with it, however, was outstanding — perfectly crisp on the outside with a soft, runny yolk inside. Honestly, it ended up being my favorite part of the dish. The restaurant itself has a really nice vibe. We sat outdoors, and even in 100+ degree weather, the fans and misting system made it surprisingly comfortable. Overall, a great spot with good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again!

Google
Palma in Phoenix is an absolute gem! The service is top-notch, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The vibe is effortlessly cool with a fun, laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for both a night out with friends or a chill dinner date. And the food? Incredible! Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It’s one of those places you immediately want to come back to. Highly recommend!

Google
I went there with my friend tonight, and we loved the delicious fries appetizer. I ordered a salad with grilled salmon, and my friend had a burger. The food was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed my salad, the salmon was grilled perfectly, and the lavender tea was so good too

Google
My husband and I were in a rush because we are in town from NY and we have a packed itinerary so we opted to sit at the bar. As soon as we sat we were greeted by Stormi Sky, her hospitality and vibrant personality made such a short encounter worth it. When she had to step away from the bar we then were ask how we were doing by Brook again such a pleasant personality. Lastly the food was so good we had an amazing breakfast sandwich 10/10. My husbands favorite was the hashbrown balls. And the drinks! Lychee lowdown and prickly pear margaritas are a must! Definitely will be back before our trip ends.

Google
This is a cool indoor outdoor restaurant. It’s an Asian-Mexican fusion of food and drinks. I had the Mai Thai and it was hittin! lol. Had the nachos - crunchy tuna deliciousness, and the yummy fries. Finished with a margarita and I was ready for bed!

Yelp
Came in to relax and have a few drinks and did just that. The service from Amari and Jackie was impeccable. Their attentiveness, love for their craft and attention to detail for sure made a return customer out of me. I'll definitely be seeing you all again soon!

Yelp
I came to Palma for happy hour with a group of 8 friends and we had such a great experience. Our server took excellent care of us and made sure everything came out smoothly. We all ordered the Prickly Mojito, which was super refreshing, flavorful, and not overpowering at all. The espresso martini was pretty bitter for my taste, but I did appreciate the generous amount of froth. The food was a standout. The Thai curry fries were to die for and honestly reminded me of an upscale version of Taco Bell nacho fries in the best way possible. The spicy mayo popcorn chicken was also a huge hit and definitely a must order. Overall, the atmosphere was amazing and the space is incredibly aesthetic. It is a great spot for photos and a fun place to hang out in downtown Phoenix. We had a really good experience and will absolutely be back.

Yelp
Palma has now become one of my favorite spots in downtown for food and drinks before a night out!! I've been eying this place for a long time and finally got the chance to try. For it being downtown and such an aesthetically looking place my friends and I were shook at the prices. So much more affordable than other places around the city. I had their lychee lowdown drink and it was soooo delicious for only $13! I also tried their yellowtail habanero and crunch palma roll and was overly satisfied. If you like spice I 100% recommend the yellowtail habanero roll!! oh! we also shared an order of their thai curry fries which were delicious (at least I thought so as I love anything and everything with a little tang)! The only thing I have to say is we didn't realize outside seating was only lounge patio seating. It was a bit uncomfortable to eat but we still really enjoyed the vibe!!

Yelp
Best smash burger in the city! Honestly, I'm still thinking about this burger. If you're tired of those "gourmet" burgers that are 5 inches tall and impossible to eat, this is your spot. The patties had those insane crispy, lacy edges that only happen when they actually smash them right on the griddle. It's savory, and has that perfect crust, but the middle is still juicy. The bun is super soft that actually holds up and doesn't get soggy. Next time I will try the jalapeño smash burger. Great outdoor seating perfect for brunch and to enjoy your espresso martini with their sweet vanilla cold foam! The only parking available is metered parking. Also there is a table time limit during brunch hours.

Yelp
What a cute bar! Came here on a Saturday in the late afternoon for a few cocktails and was so happy that we did. Super fun vibe, huge outdoor patio space, friendly bartenders and delicious cocktails. What more do you need? I had one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had in my life at Palma. Perfectly mixed, foamy and delicious, with just the right balance of sweetness. It brought me back to life after a long day of traveling, for sure. The themed drinks here are really fun. You can order one that comes in a Chinese take-out container. I can't speak to the food but what was coming out looked delicious. The bartenders were happy to answer any and all questions, and didn't even mind when we reopened a tab after deciding to stay longer. A great find.

Yelp
Delicious food & drinks, happy hour UNTIL 7pm on FRIDAY! Walk don't run to Palma ASAP! The restaurant space is so cute, with a huge outdoor patio & bar. We walked in at 6pm on a Friday and the wait for 2 people was 1.5 hours, but we were able to grab seats at the bar! I was SHOCKED to be handed a happy hour menu so late on a Friday (San Diego could never). The prices were so low, bartenders were lovely, and service was so quick. My favorite item by far was the Yummy Fries - if you like sweet potato fries you MUST try it! The chili aioli, soy sauce, and delicious toppings were perfect on top of the crispy, waffle-cut fries. I will be dreaming about these until my next trip to phoenix!! The rest of the food and drinks were also good, I had a spicy tuna maki roll and their frozen margarita. Would highly recommend stopping for a drink and a bite to eat at Palma after work or before a friday night out!

Yelp
Odette was a phenomenal server was super attentive and such a sweetheart and had a great personality. We sat around the fire and had a tree atmosphere and their happy hour drinks were awesome!

Yelp
OMG this place is amazing! I love the patio and the outdoor seating vibe! And the food was soooo goood! This is down an street in Phoenix that has tons of clubs and spots on a Saturday night the place was busy -- but one of the only spots I could find on this street that was still serving food at 9pm. I didn't expect a lot so I was very happily surprised. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back. The only reason to give it 4 stars was the service was ok -- she was all over us when we arrived but of course when we were ready to leave she was no where to be found and we had to have someone track her down. But overall I was happily surprised and will definitely be back! I forgot to take any food pics but will next time.

Yelp
Such a cute spot in downtown. From the outside you wouldn't think the inside was as spacious. There is outdoor and indoor seating. There is a bar outside and inside too. Our waiter was kind and friendly. We came for brunch, we had the brunch menu. We ordered a couple of dishes and drinks. I had the Mai tai, it was delish. Properly made, the way it was served was cute and creative. All the food was delish. We ordered the chicken tinga to share, it was really good but spicy. The dumplings, tacos, breakfast. The only thing that was a bit off were the hash browns that came with the breakfast. The outside was crunchy but inside too soft. Overall great meal, great place, great time.

Yelp
Palma has a great atmosphere- so instagram-worthy. The menu was hard to decipher- sushi, birria tacos and smash burgers? The crab rangoon was really delicious as a starter. The sushi was just ok. I got the Santana roll which was recommended. It wasn't very spicy- not much flavor except the torch which I didn't care for. I would go again and try a different roll or entree!
google avatar

Maggy B.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place! We walked in, and we were immediately greeted by the hostess and taken to a booth inside. We had a great view of the restaurant and our waiter came over right away. We placed a drink and food order right away since happy hour was almost over. Be sure to get there before 7 PM to enjoy their happy hour specials. We walked out out of their stuff with a to go container and spent $66 total. Will definitely be back.

Athena G.

Yelp
The service was sooo terrible, my server would take forever to come to us, even after going up to the bar to ask her to come to our table. She seemed to be on drugs, and made it so difficult to close the bill. The food was okay, not good enough to go back and I'd say you're just paying for the photos.
google avatar

Savannah Z.

Yelp
The vibe here is amazing!! A variety of food and cocktails are everything. Not to mention the music selection was on point. Quick service and everything so was flavorful. The restaurant is attached to a club on the other side by the restrooms. Plenty of photo ops

Yelp
I haven't had any actual food here yet but it sure looks delicious. I went here on a Sunday afternoon for my roomie's birthday, just to hang out. I've been once before too for drinks! It can get very busy on weekend nights but it was pretty dead as expected in end of June during the day. We sat at the inside bar, although I would recommend a table with a group since it's hard to talk to everyone. The drinks are creative and so pretty! I got a mocktail - the flower child with peaflower, coconut, pineapple, and lime. It came with a flower! It was very pretty purple and not so pretty when I mixed it lol still tasted good. My friend got the Mai Tai and it comes in a take out container, so cool! My boyfriend then ordered one and they were out of the mix... waited 30 mins and it wasn't ready still so he had to order a different drink. I get it happens but would've been nice to be updated earlier or I'm not sure why it was taking so long to get the mix ready. Their frozen blood orange marg looks divine, haven't had it!

Yelp
Very good! Had the spicy tuna maki. And the quality of the fish was the star of the show. Melt in your mouth kind of quality. The yummy fries were very fun. Of course ambiance was cool and hip. Not a bad price point either. My wife and I will be back this time with friends. Very fun.
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
Great ambience. Extremely friendly service. Would have been better if they'd have told us about happy hour and that it was ending so we could have ordered before it ended. The food is very good 8.5/10 and unique. The prices are excellent. Good value for the money. We got sushi to start and it was very good, the Nam Nam Noodle Salad which was fresh and delicious, and the Komex Noodles which were very good, lots of curry. We sat inside, it's cool that they have projections on the walls that move and change from daytime to evening as it happens in real life. The outside patio under the palms looks really cool too. I'd definitely go back and try different things.

Yelp
It was my first time visiting Palma. It wouldn't be my last though. I loved the laid-back vibe. The openness of the grounds, specialty cocktails, great menu, and speedy service makes it highly recommendable. Pet friendly. Street parking. Accessible entrance.

Yelp
Food was amazing, and the vibe was so cute! Our server was helpful and I loved the spice level of the food too

Yelp
Group of 4 women headed to Gammage for a play. Looking for a new hot spot to try and IG led us to Palma. So glad it did. Upon arriving we knew it was a gem. Super cute atmosphere, such a vibe. We were quickly sat and our server was amazing. She recommended mamy delicious options. 2 of us had Sushi which was so fresh and delicious. 1 had the smash burger and again she said it was wonderful and the fries were super tasty! Our 4th friend had the fish tacos...the serving size of these were large! We had espresso martinis (ah.mazing.), glass slipper(YUM!), Pineapple old fashion(again, amazing). We've already told many of our friends and we can't wait to come back!!
google avatar

Alice C.

Yelp
The food was amazing, huge portions! Cute brunch spot. The popcorn chicken was my favorite. Everything was reslly good though.
google avatar

Jasmin W.

Yelp
This was a very cool vibe if you're ever in downtown Phoenix! Although it was 100 degrees, the food and staff were amazing. The wait wasn't long to grab a table for two. It was happy hour so we had a fun time munching on the different maki rolls and different cocktails! I tried a frozen blood orange margarita and then I fell in love with the pink lychee martini drink. The little floating flower is a nice touch.
google avatar

Riley G.

Yelp
Perfect date night spot or dinner with your friends. The patio is shaded and has misters to keep you cool, the indoor area has comfortable velvet booths. Super delicious and fun drink menu. I got the frozen blood orange margarita. It wasn't too sweet which I really liked. We got the yellowtail habanero roll, which was the favorite of the night. We also got a spicy tiny roll and LA 2.0 roll both were delicious. Service was quick, our sushi did come out way before the edamame but we didn't mind. Second time here and will be back again. Reasonably priced compared to other downtown restaurants !
google avatar

Laleen K.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday dinner night around 5pm, they had mists on for outdoor seating which was nice because it was super hot in Phoenix. We had just made the last of happy hour that ended at 7pm! We ordered 4 rolls, crunch rolls and sake maki, along with the two frozen margaritas. I was really suprised with their happy hour! 2 appetizers, 4 rolls, and 2 cocktails for around $80! Im impressed!! I would 100% come back. The bartenders that served us were amazing. They also allow dogs at outdoor seating!
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
We met our friends for brunch and immediately the ambiance was so welcoming! Beautiful decor, very flush outdoor patio seating with the bar in the middle. The restaurant had gorgeous booths along the wall with the most gorgeous bathroom walk I've ever seen. The walkway to the bathroom has beautiful green plants and a gorgeous mirror display for all the selfies and group shots! The brunch menu wasn't very large which is my opinion is best for the quality of food to expect when the menu is limited. Their drinks were great and a large selection to choose from! We ordered the breakfast noodles, birria breakfast tacos, popcorn chicken, and "kFC" chicken sandwich. The breakfast noodles weren't anything to rave about. The bacon pieces were delicious but the noodles were lumping together with the egg yolk. Could use some sesame or olive oil to prevent that from happening. However I loved the egg addition, I think it was unique and creative. The birria tacos were delicious, crispy shell, however when my fiance ordered them, he thought they were the birria tacos from the lunch menu. He has an after 10am, no eggs rule lol. The popcorn chicken was DELICIOUS. When I tell you this, imagine popcorn chicken with the most amazing crunch and glazed with a yummy sauce that resembles a honey mustard/cane sauce. Amazing! The chicken sandwich looked delicious as well. My friends boyfriend ordered it and ate the whole thing so I'm going to go with a winner! The drinks and food were great, the atmosphere made the time. It was a vibe for brunch and we will definitely be back to try more dishes! Our service was great as well. Attentive and helped any opportunity they had to stop by. We sat near the kitchen area so it was easy to spot if we needed new drinks etc.

Yelp
Palma has a fun, laid-back vibe with a touch of Miami flair -- tropical, social, and perfect for a relaxed night out. The food was solid, and the flavors were on point. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and kept the energy upbeat without being overbearing. If you're looking for a casual spot to hang out with friends, grab good bites, and enjoy an easygoing atmosphere, Palma is definitely worth considering.
google avatar

Denise M.

Yelp
This is a great place to grab cocktails and dinner when you're on Roosevelt Row. It is a little slower and more casual earlier in the day--we had reservations for 6:00pm. After a certain time (8:00 I think), nobody under she 21 is allowed, and it becomes more of a nightlife kind of place. This place has a great atmosphere. The majority of seating (or at least half) is outside, where there is a large bar, and lots of tables, lounge areas with sofas, and a fountain. There was dj just arriving and setting up outside while we were leaving. Inside is another bar, some round booths, and some tables. Make are to check out the walls--projectors make it look like the trees are moving and birds fly across, too. We had the absolute best server, who was extremely bubbly and happy. You can tell he really enjoyed his job. We started with cocktails and went directly to dinner, skipping appetizers. We had: *Espresso martini *Mai Tai ( in a Chinese takeout box) *Palma Salad w/ Bulgogi Salmon *Nam Nam Noodle Salad w/ Salmon Everything was delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and my MaiTai was huge! Will be back to try some of the other things that sounded so good on the menu.
google avatar

Blake S.

Yelp
Everything about this place hit the mark. The happy hour is long, which means big discounts on drinks. I had the jalapeño smash burger and it was honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The salad was light and refreshing, and while the queso portion was smaller than I expected, it was still really tasty. Drinks were solid across the board, and the service was great our bartender was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere inside is super cool too. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
google avatar

Joy T.

Yelp
Only my 2nd visit here, located on Roosevelt in downtown Phoenix. Love the look & the vibe of this oasis in the desert. Sat on the patio and had their crunchy la sushi roll and the lychee lowdown cocktail. Adorable server who was very friendly & prompt. Hope to return for more food & cocktails soon!

Yelp
I have LOVED Palma for so long. Best vibes and best music. However, service has been TERRIBLE for brunch. Our food came undercooked, we didn't have silverware or plates till 1/2 way through our meal. It is shocking how terrible the service was. And there was no apology or anything from our server. Truly a TERRIBLE dining experience, go anywhere but here for brunch. Plenty of places nearby - SAVE YOURSELF! (Drinks were yummy tho)
google avatar

Elicia N.

Yelp
I had high hopes when I first arrived--the music was great, the atmosphere lively, and the bar beautiful. However, as soon as the service got involved, it quickly went downhill. The hostess was wonderful and warm, but once we were seated, things went awry. We were a party of 5 woo arrived slowly in parts. We ordered waters and drinks. I asked for a shot of lime juice on the side with my water 5 times, and after nearly 20 minutes of waiting, a guest from our table got up to get it from the bar. For food I ordered a small salad, not realizing how tiny it would be. When my food finally arrived, I asked for salt and pepper, but was told they have no pepper and would return with salt. They didn't. The food delivery person and server forgot about it, and I ended up waiting another 15-20 mints before the server came back so I could enjoy they ten bites of salad I could enjoy because it was bland without salt and lime juice. Additionally, two guests still hadn't received their food after significant delays. We are several times before guest 4 got his food and another 15-20 minute delay before our fifth guest got his entrée of tacos and chips. Overall, what started as a promising experience turned out to be a frustrating one. We all agreed we wouldn't be back. Maybe a one off experience but unfortunately a poor first impression.

Yelp
Enjoy a cocktail on the patio @palmastateofmind . Inside, the walls keep the tropical vibes flowing with subtle shadowy movement. The hallway is hung with greenery as it stretches back and around, combining with Cham-pang lanes. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing inside and out, but that patio is the place to be. We went on a Saturday morning and enjoyed the brunch menu. The kids loved the biscuits and gravy, and the popcorn chicken drizzled with kewpie mayo and seasoning. The breakfast noodles looked flavorful but lacked it quite a bit. I enjoyed tasting multiple apps: crab Rangoon, chili queso, and the avocado "toast"ada. For cocktails, the Cheech and Chong spicy marg was just the right amount of heat to add good flavor, and my Glass Slipper gin and prosecco with light citrus was refreshing. Go for the vibes, stay for the vibes.
google avatar

Denyce M.

Yelp
Another lovely place that our friends took us to for brunch when we were visiting them in Arizona. Palma is a cute place that gave off a Mexican resort vibe, with straw roofing material, palm trees, umbrellas and misters to keep you cool. Our visit started off rocky as our friends had made a reservation for us to sit outside, but somehow the person in from of us was given the space that they had specifically asked for. We we seated inside the restaurant and my friend was not happy and not having it. We eventually got moved to an outdoor table that was nice and the rest of the visit was a good time. The menu is all over the place, but in a good way: you can get noodles, sushi, a KFC chicken sandwich, a regular bacon and eggs breakfast, just to name a few. After ordering the bottomless mimosas, I got the Breakfast Noodles (bacon, scallion, jalapeño sunny egg, roasted onion, poblano, Macha chili crisp) and the Crispy Chicken Bowl (snow seasoning, spicy mustard mashed potatoes, Chinese broccoli, miso corn, sausage gravy, hot honey). Both were very good and full of flavor. Was too much food but I wanted to try both for the taste as I have no idea when I will be back here. So glad I did. And because I am a sweet and savory brunch gal, I got the Five Spice Beignets too....tasty as well. The Doctor got the Two Egg Breakfast (two eggs, bacon, Palma hash browns, brioche toast). He cleaned his plate. I really enjoyed the outside vibe a lot and was glad we sat outside. As I had not been here before, I didn't feel like I was missing anything by sitting inside. Also it was a hot day and I was feeling eating In the heat. But I am glad we were seated outside as it was so cute, chilled and made me feel like I was in a tropical atmosphere. The music was jamming with a cool playlist so I was able to chair dance. Once the issue with the reservation was settled, Palma delivered on the flavor and the vibe. I would definitely return for more if I am in the area.

Yelp
This rating is just for their brunch, which has been perfect the four times I've been. The rangoon are a perfect starter and bring a nice spice with a light taste while enjoying coffee. The main courses have been extremely flavorful and perfect portions, from the barbocoa hash with a spicy sauce to the egg sandwich with hash browns to the Korean chicken biscuit which put me in a food coma. The winner of all is the birria tacos which were a surprising item to see on a brunch menu, but were perfect! They are usually fairly empty as most people are down the street at a Big breakfast spot, but this is worth heading over to as a first choice.
google avatar

Bridget S.

Yelp
Came for a happy hour stop after class. Great cocktails and food. We had a new waitress so she was still learning her way around the menu, but she did a great job and was very friendly. We chose to sit inside since it was still on the summer temp side of life, but once it cools down then the outside area has a great vibe. Overall a great spot

Yelp
A must go to for brunch! The patio is amazing giviing a resort on a beach vibe. Live DJ and great music. Outside bar, great staff, and delicious food. I ordered the Barbacoa Hash which was so so good. The portions were plenty and presentation made my eyes pop out. My favorite was the Birria Beef Ragoon appetizer. Very different and excellent. I love cream cheese in little appetizers like these and they nailed it. I am ordering this every time I dine here for brunch. It was a light crowd and a beautiful day. Looking forward to my next brunch day here.
google avatar

Alisha O.

Yelp
Very cool atmosphere, especially outside! It was busy even at 130 on a Saturday afternoon but we were able to snag seats at the bar. I ordered the Tropico drink - a rum and coconut concoction with coconut flakes. Not something I usually lean towards but it was so good! Guacamole (loaded style) was great! We just wanted a light lunch and ordered some sushi which was good but not rave-worthy. Definitely will be back to try some more dishes!
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Their outdoor patio is fantastic! Even in the heat of the summer, having a dinner outside I actually got some goosebumps from the shade, misters and fans. Happy hour goes till 7 pm, and there's plenty of bar seating. Great food options on happy hour including their signature popcorn chicken. Bartender was friendly and prompt, food was good. Definitely a great ambiance and vibe on the patio.
google avatar

Shakira M.

Yelp
The vibe is this place is EVERYTHANG! Makes you feel like you're somewhere on a tropical island vs downtown Phoenix. I enjoyed the Lavender Sour, which was an alcohol free drink and ordered this banana foster dessert served with corn flakes.. may sound weird but it was amazing. I loved the energy and the ambiance of this place and look forward to returning to try one of the delicious food items from the menu!
google avatar

Betty B.

Yelp
Bartenders and bar back on the outside were nice. The rangoon app was good but my recommended sushi roll was not good and also upset my stomach. Cute, spot but I won't be back for food.
google avatar

Alyssa B.

Yelp
This place was beautiful! We went for brunch and loved sitting outside but a few things made it disappointing for us. First, the hostess was either high or antisocial. Interactions with her and guests were weird. Next, the place has a kids menu (we had our toddler with us) but no high chairs or booster seats. They said they had them but couldn't find them. So instead we spent the whole time trying to keep a toddler in their seat and adjusting them to sit comfortably. We try not to take him places that aren't ok for kids but they had a kids menu? The waitress was nice and the food was decent.
google avatar

Jimma D.

Yelp
My friends and I love this place. We love stopping here and having a meal and drink before it heats up too much outside. Palma has indoor and outdoor seating but indoors gets packed quick on hot days so get there early. They have a really good salad but I forgot the name of it. They have a back hall that connects to another bar/club. Fun place.

Yelp
After walking by several times and noticing the beautiful and plant-filled patio, a friend and I decided to meet here for a weekday lunch. Because of the high winds we ended up eating inside - which was just as pretty. The day we went it was busy but not over-crowded, with a noise level that was perfect for having a good conversation. The service was prompt. The Yummy Fries were incredible! The Crunchy LA roll was so good and had the smallest hint of mustard inside which really made it unexpected. We also had the Tsunami and it was the only "meh," thing about the meal, but I think if you like crab sticks you might really love it.?. The food was tasty and filling! I definitely want to go back and try more of their fusion-inspired menu.

Yelp
Great place in downtown Phoenix. The moment you walk in you feel like you stepped into paradise! Love the tropical vibes. The music is always good. The drinks are yummy especially the blood orange margarita! The bar was busy so it took a little bit to get a drink, but it was worth the wait!

Yelp
I came here with a group of friends for a birthday and we had such a great time. The service and food was excellent. I enjoyed the poke tower as well as the popcorn chicken. Their cocktails are excellent and they have a good wine selection as well.

Yelp
Super cute place! We stopped in late afternoon with a bigger group. Initially, the service and attention were poor.. we were seated with no menus, silverware, and server took quite some time to come over despite there were only a few tables in the restaurant and the hostess just stood facing us, distracted and without any notice. (Same response when I picked up a chair that had a nail sticking out and carried it to move it.. which I placed at another table and told her and she just said "oh". I had to let the server know they might want to get rid of the chair). Besides that! The server was great and we ordered spicy edamame, sushi rolls, a salad, and Thai curry fries. The food came out very quickly and I was doubting the sushi but it was so fresh and delicious! Loved the combinations. The spicy edamame lacked some flavor along with the fries that came out after everyone was done eating. We also enjoyed the drink menu. Overall, the aesthetics of the place are great.. outdoor area looks like it'd be great to sit out in the evening to on a cooler day to enjoy.

Yelp
Place is beautiful and it was busy when we went but we still got in without a wait. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest but could've just been an off night.. cocktails were enjoyed by all. My mai Thai was very good. Sushi was fabulous. Would go back just because of the quality of sushi and beautiful interior:

Yelp
Walked in a little after 3, was told that getting a table they were all booked up two reservations... I was pretty confused at the time because the whole restaurant was pretty much empty besides the bar and inside. She told me why and it made sense to me ( as I have been a manager in a high-paced restaurant before) I walked over to the side of the bar that wasn't as busy, set my book down to save my spot, went to the restroom and came back in two women were sitting in my spot. It's OK, I went and sat at the bar that was in the sunlight. It took about two minutes before I was greeted, but I was greeted with a nice big smile. I miss Nikki. She's very patient with me as I didn't know what I wanted. I attached below the drinks that I got. The food was yummy. The vibes were good, the music was nice, and I really liked that they have misters here. I would definitely recommend coming here. I can't wait for it to cool down in Arizona cause it'll be a lot more enjoyable, but I definitely recommend this place. Also shout out to Manager Bri, bartender Amari, and the rest of the staff, as they were all very helpful.

Yelp
"BEST FIREPLACE RESTAURANT IN AZ!" I love that we are surrounded by nature and lots of twinkling lights. The music is hip and not too loud. The burger was small for the price, considering the fries were nothing special. The sauces were good. I don't like the fact that they don't use chicken breast for their sandwiches. The decor is really nice! And next door they have a fun bowling alley!! I will come back!

Yelp
Just left here from having brunch and I will say the experience was amazing from the moment we walked in. Our server Stormy was amazing make sure you ask for her! She's very attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations to guide our experience. They also have a DJ for brunch on the weekends which was cool. The restaurant literally feels like you're walking into a different city. The food and drinks were AMAZING. I love chicken biscuits and this was hands down the best one. Also the guac is super fresh and the tacos my boyfriend had were great. Definitely check this place out can't wait to try their dinner menu!!
