18 Perfect Phoenix Restaurant Patios for Dining Alfresco

"Downtown Phoenix’s hippest new hot spot offers sushi, fried chicken, and Asian small plates in a resort-style setting crowded with palm trees. Upscale decor and upbeat music lend an on-vacay vibe, backed up by creative cocktails and lots of snacky options. It’s become a go-to for weekend brunch (think matcha French toast), happy hour, or a romantic evening near the fire pit." - Mcconnell Quinn, Nikki Buchanan, jamiekillin, Rudri Patel

Great atmosphere, vibe, and service. Have been here many times. Cocktails are well balanced as well. Would like to try more on the menu. The curry fries are fire. Today went on a Sunday afternoon and got help right away. Palma salad was fresh but kinda boring. Popcorn chicken was not bad with curry sauce. I like that their menu is unique from other places in the area. Will be back to try more. Food is not out of this world, but worth the visit.

Google
Definitely basic food. But the lion tail maki was interesting. The ambiance was amazing!! And the service was very fast the food came incredibly fast. The drinks were better than usual, I’d recommend the blood orange margarita. The popcorn chicken was alright but I don’t recommend the snow seasoning.

My husband, sisters and I booked a table for brunch to celebrate our annual reunion. Our table was in a shaded corner of the outdoor patio and the atmosphere was delightful. The cocktails and food we ordered were all fantastic and we especially enjoyed the frozen blood orange margaritas. Our servers and the General manager, Ben, went above and beyond to accommodate us. The nearby fan over our table wasn’t working, so we jokingly asked if they could send someone to fan us and feed us grapes. We all had a laugh, but moments later, Ben returned with a rotary fan that he plugged in and placed by our table. Shortly after he can back with a tray of chilled fruit and laughingly said “I can’t feed them to you, but please enjoy these grapes and berries.” It was the above and beyond service along with the good humor of the staff that made our experience unforgettable.

Google
I came out of review retirement for this one. They seated us at the bar in a drop of a hat which was very nice for dinner. Service was fast and attentive. Prices were agreeable. The music and ambiance are fun and attractive. We had the chili noodles and bulgogi nachos. The nachos hit harder than Tyson and the noodles were straight outta flavor town. All super good. Espresso martinis went well with everything. Would recommend.

Google
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff (hostess, bartenders, waitress). I wasn't a big fan of the food - basic bar food in my opinion. That said, the friend I went with liked the food -go figure.

Google
An absolutely gorgeous and inviting location. The food was delicious, flavorful, and unique. Despite not being a fan of peanuts, I enjoyed the smooth peanut sauce of the Thai noodle dish. As a hopeless lover of chicken and waffles, I thoroughly enjoyed the bubble waffle and absolutely mouth-watering chicken. The sushi was delicious, too. Everything about this restaurant was wonderful. Even the trip to the bathroom was eventful! Service was quick and smooth. Will absolutely stop by again to try the other gems.

Google
It was a super quaint and beautiful place. The food was nice. We were tardy for our reservation yet they were still kind enough to accommodate our party. The misters on the patio were very aggressive. We felt too damp and it was hard to enjoy the experience because of the abundance of mist on us (which I get being in AZ) yet it was a lot. The waitress was amazing and was able to shut ours off by where we were sitting which was fantastic.

Google
Our work dinner event at Palma during a conference left us thoroughly impressed by the amazing ambiance of the venue. The team exhibited exceptional professionalism throughout the planning process, attentively guiding us in selecting the perfect menu items and quantities for our group. Michele went above and beyond by offering contingency options in case of inclement weather. Throughout the event, the service provided by all staff members was outstanding, ensuring a memorable evening for our team. Palma truly exceeded our expectations

Yelp
The food and drinks were great, solid 8.5/10. Service is lovely my mom and our waitress were chatting it up! Definitely my new favorite spot!! Our waitress Odette was such a joy, great customer service skills. Not pictured: Tsunami Maki, very delicious 9/10, the honey mustard is a little strong

Zanaya A.

Yelp
Our bartender Jackie is so inviting and created a good atmosphere at Palma. The drinks are fantastic and reasonable pricing. Would 100% recommend people to come and spend happy hour here. There's lots of good photo ops inside with the decor and plants. Definitely coming here again !!

Yelp
Walked in a little after 3, was told that getting a table they were all booked up two reservations... I was pretty confused at the time because the whole restaurant was pretty much empty besides the bar and inside. She told me why and it made sense to me ( as I have been a manager in a high-paced restaurant before) I walked over to the side of the bar that wasn't as busy, set my book down to save my spot, went to the restroom and came back in two women were sitting in my spot. It's OK, I went and sat at the bar that was in the sunlight. It took about two minutes before I was greeted, but I was greeted with a nice big smile. I miss Nikki. She's very patient with me as I didn't know what I wanted. I attached below the drinks that I got. The food was yummy. The vibes were good, the music was nice, and I really liked that they have misters here. I would definitely recommend coming here. I can't wait for it to cool down in Arizona cause it'll be a lot more enjoyable, but I definitely recommend this place. Also shout out to Manager Bri, bartender Amari, and the rest of the staff, as they were all very helpful.

Yelp
From the moment we walked into Palma, we were swept up in the effortlessly cool, tropical-chic atmosphere. The vibe is the perfect balance of upscale and inviting--ideal for a girls' night, date, or spontaneous happy hour drop-in. Lucky for us, we arrived just in time for happy hour and kicked things off with cocktails that seriously delivered. I ordered the espresso martini, which was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced--an instant favorite. My girlie went with the blood orange margarita, and it was a citrusy dream with just the right kick. Both were a solid 10/10. For food, we went all in on the party platter--and it was a total win. It came with crispy crab Rangoon, creamy hatch chicken queso, charred salted edamame, tender popcorn chicken, and fries that were seasoned to perfection. Each bite brought a different flavor vibe, and together it made for the perfect mix of savory, salty, and satisfying. We added a California roll to the mix, which was fresh, light, and a nice balance to the richness of the other dishes. Overall, Palma totally impressed--from the aesthetic to the flavor to the price point. Delicious, affordable, and curated with style. We'll definitely be back for more vibes, more cocktails, and more bites.

Yelp
This place gives off the cutest California vibe -- especially the outdoor patio, which is perfect for enjoying the nice weather and snapping some Insta-worthy pics. It's such a chill and aesthetic spot, ideal for date night or catching up with friends. They have a great happy hour with prices that are super reasonable, especially for the quality. The sushi is always fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails are delicious. I know the drinks are a little on the basic side, but I can't resist -- the espresso martini is my go-to and it never disappoints! On top of that, the service is always kind, helpful, and welcoming. This has become one of my favorite places to relax, eat good food, and enjoy a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The vibe is this place is EVERYTHANG! Makes you feel like you're somewhere on a tropical island vs downtown Phoenix. I enjoyed the Lavender Sour, which was an alcohol free drink and ordered this banana foster dessert served with corn flakes.. may sound weird but it was amazing. I loved the energy and the ambiance of this place and look forward to returning to try one of the delicious food items from the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Great ambience. Extremely friendly service. Would have been better if they'd have told us about happy hour and that it was ending so we could have ordered before it ended. The food is very good 8.5/10 and unique. The prices are excellent. Good value for the money. We got sushi to start and it was very good, the Nam Nam Noodle Salad which was fresh and delicious, and the Komex Noodles which were very good, lots of curry. We sat inside, it's cool that they have projections on the walls that move and change from daytime to evening as it happens in real life. The outside patio under the palms looks really cool too. I'd definitely go back and try different things.

Yelp
It was my first time visiting Palma. It wouldn't be my last though. I loved the laid-back vibe. The openness of the grounds, specialty cocktails, great menu, and speedy service makes it highly recommendable. Pet friendly. Street parking. Accessible entrance.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday dinner night around 5pm, they had mists on for outdoor seating which was nice because it was super hot in Phoenix. We had just made the last of happy hour that ended at 7pm! We ordered 4 rolls, crunch rolls and sake maki, along with the two frozen margaritas. I was really suprised with their happy hour! 2 appetizers, 4 rolls, and 2 cocktails for around $80! Im impressed!! I would 100% come back. The bartenders that served us were amazing. They also allow dogs at outdoor seating!
google avatar

Brenna D.

Yelp
Place is beautiful and it was busy when we went but we still got in without a wait. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest but could've just been an off night.. cocktails were enjoyed by all. My mai Thai was very good. Sushi was fabulous. Would go back just because of the quality of sushi and beautiful interior:

Yelp
We met our friends for brunch and immediately the ambiance was so welcoming! Beautiful decor, very flush outdoor patio seating with the bar in the middle. The restaurant had gorgeous booths along the wall with the most gorgeous bathroom walk I've ever seen. The walkway to the bathroom has beautiful green plants and a gorgeous mirror display for all the selfies and group shots! The brunch menu wasn't very large which is my opinion is best for the quality of food to expect when the menu is limited. Their drinks were great and a large selection to choose from! We ordered the breakfast noodles, birria breakfast tacos, popcorn chicken, and "kFC" chicken sandwich. The breakfast noodles weren't anything to rave about. The bacon pieces were delicious but the noodles were lumping together with the egg yolk. Could use some sesame or olive oil to prevent that from happening. However I loved the egg addition, I think it was unique and creative. The birria tacos were delicious, crispy shell, however when my fiance ordered them, he thought they were the birria tacos from the lunch menu. He has an after 10am, no eggs rule lol. The popcorn chicken was DELICIOUS. When I tell you this, imagine popcorn chicken with the most amazing crunch and glazed with a yummy sauce that resembles a honey mustard/cane sauce. Amazing! The chicken sandwich looked delicious as well. My friends boyfriend ordered it and ate the whole thing so I'm going to go with a winner! The drinks and food were great, the atmosphere made the time. It was a vibe for brunch and we will definitely be back to try more dishes! Our service was great as well. Attentive and helped any opportunity they had to stop by. We sat near the kitchen area so it was easy to spot if we needed new drinks etc.

Yelp
My friends and I love this place. We love stopping here and having a meal and drink before it heats up too much outside. Palma has indoor and outdoor seating but indoors gets packed quick on hot days so get there early. They have a really good salad but I forgot the name of it. They have a back hall that connects to another bar/club. Fun place.

Yelp
This is a great place to grab cocktails and dinner when you're on Roosevelt Row. It is a little slower and more casual earlier in the day--we had reservations for 6:00pm. After a certain time (8:00 I think), nobody under she 21 is allowed, and it becomes more of a nightlife kind of place. This place has a great atmosphere. The majority of seating (or at least half) is outside, where there is a large bar, and lots of tables, lounge areas with sofas, and a fountain. There was dj just arriving and setting up outside while we were leaving. Inside is another bar, some round booths, and some tables. Make are to check out the walls--projectors make it look like the trees are moving and birds fly across, too. We had the absolute best server, who was extremely bubbly and happy. You can tell he really enjoyed his job. We started with cocktails and went directly to dinner, skipping appetizers. We had: *Espresso martini *Mai Tai ( in a Chinese takeout box) *Palma Salad w/ Bulgogi Salmon *Nam Nam Noodle Salad w/ Salmon Everything was delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and my MaiTai was huge! Will be back to try some of the other things that sounded so good on the menu.

Yelp
Everything about this place hit the mark. The happy hour is long, which means big discounts on drinks. I had the jalapeño smash burger and it was honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The salad was light and refreshing, and while the queso portion was smaller than I expected, it was still really tasty. Drinks were solid across the board, and the service was great our bartender was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere inside is super cool too. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
google avatar

Caroline N.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon to try out their happy hour (M-F 11-7) menu! Upon entering, we stepping into a beautiful courtyard/patio space and opted to sit at the bar. I ordered the Splash, which was recommended to me by the bartender as the sweetest drink on the HH menu. It was fruity and refreshing, but by far not the best cocktail I've ever had. My friend ordered her usual, the Glass Slipper, a cocktail not on the HH menu, which I found to be much tastier. We then ordered the hatch chili queso with an extra side of chips, which were thick and crunchy and well-portioned. I enjoyed the creaminess of the queso, but it was not the best I've ever had either. Overall, I found Palma to be most notable for their interior design and outdoor furnishings, best suited for a cute cocktail meet-up spot for the girls! Especially for HH price, I would come back.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday night for my girlfriend's birthday. She had booked the patio area for our big party. The service was amazing! We ordered the largest size of chicken nuggets/tenders. They were delicious and fresh! Everyone loved it. Drinks also did not disappoint. Music was wonderful!!! We had a blast celebrating her 30th bday!! Will definitely come again.
google avatar

Elicia N.

Yelp
I had high hopes when I first arrived--the music was great, the atmosphere lively, and the bar beautiful. However, as soon as the service got involved, it quickly went downhill. The hostess was wonderful and warm, but once we were seated, things went awry. We were a party of 5 woo arrived slowly in parts. We ordered waters and drinks. I asked for a shot of lime juice on the side with my water 5 times, and after nearly 20 minutes of waiting, a guest from our table got up to get it from the bar. For food I ordered a small salad, not realizing how tiny it would be. When my food finally arrived, I asked for salt and pepper, but was told they have no pepper and would return with salt. They didn't. The food delivery person and server forgot about it, and I ended up waiting another 15-20 mints before the server came back so I could enjoy they ten bites of salad I could enjoy because it was bland without salt and lime juice. Additionally, two guests still hadn't received their food after significant delays. We are several times before guest 4 got his food and another 15-20 minute delay before our fifth guest got his entrée of tacos and chips. Overall, what started as a promising experience turned out to be a frustrating one. We all agreed we wouldn't be back. Maybe a one off experience but unfortunately a poor first impression.

Yelp
Enjoy a cocktail on the patio @palmastateofmind . Inside, the walls keep the tropical vibes flowing with subtle shadowy movement. The hallway is hung with greenery as it stretches back and around, combining with Cham-pang lanes. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing inside and out, but that patio is the place to be. We went on a Saturday morning and enjoyed the brunch menu. The kids loved the biscuits and gravy, and the popcorn chicken drizzled with kewpie mayo and seasoning. The breakfast noodles looked flavorful but lacked it quite a bit. I enjoyed tasting multiple apps: crab Rangoon, chili queso, and the avocado "toast"ada. For cocktails, the Cheech and Chong spicy marg was just the right amount of heat to add good flavor, and my Glass Slipper gin and prosecco with light citrus was refreshing. Go for the vibes, stay for the vibes.
google avatar

Petra V.

Yelp
Did someone say HAPPY HOUR? this is your spot. Or some weekend day drinking? Need a date night spot? The answer is Palma to all of the above lol and if you want to keep going you can just walk to Cham Pang Lanes or Ghost Donkey
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
Great place in downtown Phoenix. The moment you walk in you feel like you stepped into paradise! Love the tropical vibes. The music is always good. The drinks are yummy especially the blood orange margarita! The bar was busy so it took a little bit to get a drink, but it was worth the wait!

Ranin M.

Yelp
My recent visit to Palma was unfortunately overshadowed by the service we received. We were seated at an inside booth that faced the bar, and the group in front of us was extremely loud. We politely asked our server if it might be possible to move to an outdoor table. Instead of acknowledging the request, he abruptly dropped the waters on the table without placing them properly and walked away without a word. We waited over 20 minutes without any further attention. Eventually, we let him know we had decided to stay at the booth. Even then, he remained cold, unwelcoming, and dismissive, despite us being nothing but respectful. We then ordered fries, but a minute later asked if they were gluten-free. When he said they weren't, we immediately told him we'd skip the fries and just order the guac instead. As soon as he heard we were changing the order even though it had only been a minute he turned and rushed off, making us feel like we were a burden for simply asking a question and changing our mind and he also only refilled our water once right at the end of the meal. It's frustrating because we were genuinely trying to enjoy our time and be considerate guests. We still tipped more than enough, but the experience left a bad impression. The food and atmosphere were good, which is why this kind of service is especially disappointing. We hope the management takes this as constructive feedback. A little more attentiveness and courtesy from staff especially when guests are being polite can make all the difference.
google avatar

MJ L.

Yelp
This rating is just for their brunch, which has been perfect the four times I've been. The rangoon are a perfect starter and bring a nice spice with a light taste while enjoying coffee. The main courses have been extremely flavorful and perfect portions, from the barbocoa hash with a spicy sauce to the egg sandwich with hash browns to the Korean chicken biscuit which put me in a food coma. The winner of all is the birria tacos which were a surprising item to see on a brunch menu, but were perfect! They are usually fairly empty as most people are down the street at a Big breakfast spot, but this is worth heading over to as a first choice.
google avatar

Jack B.

Yelp
This mostly outdoor restaurant is a great space to pass some time on a nice Arizona day. There is a large outdoor bar that dominates the space and plenty of shade to make the experience more comfortable. Palma has a nice mix of cozy patio seating, tables, and a large bar to offer something for everyone. We sat at the bar and found it to be a comfortable place to sit It had chairs pretty spread out, so we had a lot of space. I kept it basic with a mojito but I really liked it. My dad tried a different cocktail and said it was also really good. As for food, I feel you can't go wrong with some sushi here. The rolls are varied and have some interesting flavor profiles to make it a little more interesting. I tried the spicy tuna maki and neg yellowtail and really liked them. It's good to note that Palma has a gluten-sensitive menu to make things easier. Parking can be a little tough as it's right off Roosevelt. There is street parking but it is hit or miss.
google avatar

Tatiunna P.

Yelp
I came to Palma for Saturday brunch (10 AM - 2 PM) after an early workout with a couple of friends, and it was such a vibe. It's located in the Roosevelt Row area and there is plenty of metered street parking around. You can pay with change or download the app and pay with a credit or debit card for a couple of hours. The space slightly gives Miami in summer vibes, especially the outdoor area--my favorite spot. It was pretty full when we arrived, so we sat at the bar, which worked out great. The AZ summers can be brutal so the misters came in clutch! Items we ordered... To drink: * Espresso Martini ($13) * Mimosa Bottle Service ($45) * Desert Breeze & Flower Child (both spirit-free, $10 each) To eat: * Thai Curry Fries ($6) - so good we ordered them three times * Yummy Fries ($11) * Palma Smash Burger ($16) Everything hit the spot. The menu has great brunch options, both food and drinks. Service was excellent--super friendly and attentive. FYI: there's a 1.5% fee for credit card payments, but you can skip it by using debit or cash. Definitely planning to come back and explore more of the menu!

Yelp
They have the best happy hour . We go atleast once a week . The Santana Roll is a must try , the Komex noodles are 10/10 ask for Thai chili ( if you like spicy ) . Best customer service anyone have have! The ambiance outdoors is great with a full bar!

Yelp
Another lovely place that our friends took us to for brunch when we were visiting them in Arizona. Palma is a cute place that gave off a Mexican resort vibe, with straw roofing material, palm trees, umbrellas and misters to keep you cool. Our visit started off rocky as our friends had made a reservation for us to sit outside, but somehow the person in from of us was given the space that they had specifically asked for. We we seated inside the restaurant and my friend was not happy and not having it. We eventually got moved to an outdoor table that was nice and the rest of the visit was a good time. The menu is all over the place, but in a good way: you can get noodles, sushi, a KFC chicken sandwich, a regular bacon and eggs breakfast, just to name a few. After ordering the bottomless mimosas, I got the Breakfast Noodles (bacon, scallion, jalapeño sunny egg, roasted onion, poblano, Macha chili crisp) and the Crispy Chicken Bowl (snow seasoning, spicy mustard mashed potatoes, Chinese broccoli, miso corn, sausage gravy, hot honey). Both were very good and full of flavor. Was too much food but I wanted to try both for the taste as I have no idea when I will be back here. So glad I did. And because I am a sweet and savory brunch gal, I got the Five Spice Beignets too....tasty as well. The Doctor got the Two Egg Breakfast (two eggs, bacon, Palma hash browns, brioche toast). He cleaned his plate. I really enjoyed the outside vibe a lot and was glad we sat outside. As I had not been here before, I didn't feel like I was missing anything by sitting inside. Also it was a hot day and I was feeling eating In the heat. But I am glad we were seated outside as it was so cute, chilled and made me feel like I was in a tropical atmosphere. The music was jamming with a cool playlist so I was able to chair dance. Once the issue with the reservation was settled, Palma delivered on the flavor and the vibe. I would definitely return for more if I am in the area.

Yelp
This place is such a vibe! Outdoor seating is so beautiful. Went with a friend and my cousin for drinks and appetizers. We got the cutest, yummy drinks and The Cure. The Cure was the perfectttt platter. Everything was so delicious! Our server was also hilarious and nice. I would come back for sure!

Yelp
Such a vibey yet chill spot for a girls night! Highly recommend making a reservation if you're planning on dining over the weekend. You really can't go wrong with any of the food here but some of our faves were the yummy fries, spicy edamame, and the picante Magura roll. Shoutout to our amazing server Neal for the friendly and prompt service.

Yelp
A must go to for brunch! The patio is amazing giviing a resort on a beach vibe. Live DJ and great music. Outside bar, great staff, and delicious food. I ordered the Barbacoa Hash which was so so good. The portions were plenty and presentation made my eyes pop out. My favorite was the Birria Beef Ragoon appetizer. Very different and excellent. I love cream cheese in little appetizers like these and they nailed it. I am ordering this every time I dine here for brunch. It was a light crowd and a beautiful day. Looking forward to my next brunch day here.
google avatar

Alisha O.

Yelp
Very cool atmosphere, especially outside! It was busy even at 130 on a Saturday afternoon but we were able to snag seats at the bar. I ordered the Tropico drink - a rum and coconut concoction with coconut flakes. Not something I usually lean towards but it was so good! Guacamole (loaded style) was great! We just wanted a light lunch and ordered some sushi which was good but not rave-worthy. Definitely will be back to try some more dishes!
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
No doubt a cool spot downtown. Convivial environment. Palm trees, sun, outdoor patio, sushi, drinks- what's not to like? Our group of 4 made a reservation indoors, but the vibe was right and we transitioned outdoors. I ordered 2 sushi rolls the Macha maki and roll with yellowfin (forgot the name). Both sounded a little better than tasted. Also, served without soy sauce? It could have used it. If I come back it would likely be for drinks vs food.

Yelp
Palma is the spot you go when you want to keep the vibe going... day or night. Last trip was during the day as we wrapped up a birthday celebration nearby at a private venue. We had such a good time that we wanted to keep celebrating. If you have a large party, it can be challenging, but groups less than 8 are easier to accommodate. The staff seems to always do their best to make things work and check in frequently to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. For cocktails, I was all about the blood orange margarita froze as the weather outside was perfect for February. Other cocktails were a hit... the chocolate espresso martini & mai tai kept everyone good & happy! Always a spot for the crew to meet & chill.

Yelp
A friend visiting from out of town suggested we try this place so I went along. We came on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 and it was pretty busy, understandable since a lot of other places are closed at this time since it's not technically lunch service. The vibe was cool. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside. I would suggest getting a reservation if you can since I heard many people were told the wait time was 45 mins to an hour. We got sushi and I thought it was okay, nothing to rave about. I felt the description sounded better than how the roll tasted. I also had a mocktail that was okay - the flower child which felt a little bland. Service was okay. I think I'm probably at an age where I came more about the food than the aesthetics of a place so I'll probably won't be running back as I was not impressed by the food even though it's a cool spot.

Yelp
After walking by several times and noticing the beautiful and plant-filled patio, a friend and I decided to meet here for a weekday lunch. Because of the high winds we ended up eating inside - which was just as pretty. The day we went it was busy but not over-crowded, with a noise level that was perfect for having a good conversation. The service was prompt. The Yummy Fries were incredible! The Crunchy LA roll was so good and had the smallest hint of mustard inside which really made it unexpected. We also had the Tsunami and it was the only "meh," thing about the meal, but I think if you like crab sticks you might really love it.?. The food was tasty and filling! I definitely want to go back and try more of their fusion-inspired menu.

Yelp
This place is so amazing! We had excellent service, super delicious food, and a very comfortable environment. We scheduled a reservation for 13 and our space was ready upon arrival. Our server was able to handle all of our orders with no issues and everything came out in a timely manner. I tried several dishes and loved them all including the chilaquiles and tacos. If I lived here I would come back all the time!!

Yelp
"BEST FIREPLACE RESTAURANT IN AZ!" I love that we are surrounded by nature and lots of twinkling lights. The music is hip and not too loud. The burger was small for the price, considering the fries were nothing special. The sauces were good. I don't like the fact that they don't use chicken breast for their sandwiches. The decor is really nice! And next door they have a fun bowling alley!! I will come back!
google avatar

Alexia O.

Yelp
From the moment you walk in, you're transported. The aesthetic is so cute--tropical plants, soft lighting, rattan accents, and every little detail just makes it feel like a mini vacation. It's giving island getaway right in the middle of the city. Their drinks? Next level. I had the Mai Tai and I'm still thinking about it. It's the perfect balance of sweet and strong, and the best part--it's served in the cutest little take-out box with a tiny umbrella. Insta-worthy and delicious!

Yelp
Girls brunch to celebrate a birthday and this place did not disappoint. The weather was perfect for outside seating however the host was so accommodating for our large table so we sat inside. The drinks were tasty as well as the mocktails on the menu. Shout out to our server Antonio who provided us with great service and his witty humor. He made our visit one that we would recommend.

Yelp
Uhhggggsss I love happy hour. I love it here most! Vibes are always vibing and food is majorly yummy! I'm more of a nigiri gal at most places, but the rolls here are so yummy! My favorite maki is the crunchy palma. It's simply delicious! Server is nice and has checked on me as well as other staff! I came here solo and they did awesome to check in on me! Ended with the glass slipper! Love a simple gin cocktail! Super yummy and refreshing. The bar is outside, but if they aren't already chilling the martini glasses they should consider it. I imagine with a bar outside that chilling might not always come out chilled. It's okay still so yummy!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! Came in for a small dinner with my wife for our anniversary and thankfully wasn't too full like usual. Our waiter Teagan was very pleasant and the food was on point like always. By the end the manager eddy came by to check on us and offered us some dessert for our anniversary. The whole time we've been here we've never realized that Palma was connected to a bowling alley or a hidden Mezcal bar. Once we were done Eddy gave us a small tour to the other bars and we decided to end our night at Ghost Donkey which ended up being a whole new experience for us!

Yelp
Service and ambiance are good. My burger was decent. My boyfriend got French toast and it was a grease pool!!! ‍‍ Yucky. Too expensive for that.

Yelp
If you like trendy and loud places, you'll love Palma. The vibe is definitely more sit and enjoy small bites and drinks. We had a large party (and reservations) and it wasn't the best place for what we were trying to do. It was hard to talk to each other without screaming. The various items we ordered were good, but nothing was really out of this word crazy good, including the drinks. Personally, I wouldn't come here again. There were many better options for drinks, food, or both in the area.

Yelp
Palma was so dope we came here twice. The food, drinks and ambience super dope. We came to Phoenix for a foodie run and wasn't disappointed. The servers were top notch and both the food and drink menus gave us plenty of options. We had the Cure Platter and spicy sushi rolls plus blood orange margaritas. Loved the outside vibes with the misters for the heat. Great place to pregame.

Yelp
Chilaquiles &Mimoasas! I loved the Thai fries , chilaquiles and mimosas. The bottle service mimosas came with all the juices you could think of. The greenery everywhere was such a nice vibe outside. And I loved the decor the bathroom

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times now. I love the fries and Mai tai. It comes in such a cute presentation. The set up is adorable! The service is a bit confusing since the waiters and waitresses all hop around and share all the tables, we had to request our items multiple times for them to come out. The mai tais were very good!!

Yelp
Wow! This was a beautiful indoor/outside bar. We ordered from the Happy Hour menu and got a sampler, which was about $30. The popcorn chicken was my favorite out of the sampler. The margaritas were strong and the service was good. I would definitely go back when I'm in Phoenix!

Yelp
Ambiance at Palma is always fire. I don't mean that is in an actual fire, but moreso using it in the "cool" sense of the word. See, that's what Palma does to you- it makes you cooler by allowing you to chill in a shaded patio with plants and warm decor. The food is great- I would check the menu prior to going to make sure its going to have something you like but if you're not a picky eater I would recommend the food because I have always found it delicious. They have a fun drink menu too if that's your jam. I have never sat at the bar itself but always hear and see good things from my vantage point at the surrounding tables. The best place to eat at Palma is the outdoor patio but yes, its going to be warm in the Summer, but that's not Palma's fault, that's the desert's fault. Pet friendly. Gotta park around it on the street so be on the lookout for a spot as you get close. Make a reservation if you're eating around peak meal lunch/dinner times!

Yelp
We came for date night, and it was such a fun vibe in there. Definitely make sure you have a reservation if you want to be seated quickly! We ended up grabbing drinks at a nearby bar since we had a 45 minute wait. But it was so worth it! Food was so flavorful and the cocktails were cute (and strong!). A little loud inside but we enjoyed it a lot.

Yelp
The food was really good. We went for happy hour so we just got a couple sushi rolls and drinks. Cute atmosphere and fun vibe.
