We can’t say enough great things about Palmer’s Quality Meats! Their commitment to locally sourced products and exceptional quality truly shines. Our son is a chef who works incredibly hard, and this year we wanted him to enjoy Thanksgiving with family instead of spending the entire day in the kitchen. He suggested we order our meal from Palmer’s—and it was the best decision we could’ve made. We ordered a brined and butchered turkey, gravy, glazed carrots, sausage stuffing, pork belly mac & cheese, mojo pork, and mashed potatoes. Every single dish was made with fresh ingredients, beautifully seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Our guests left happy, satisfied, and even with leftovers to take home. Palmer’s helped make our Thanksgiving stress-free and memorable, and we’re already excited to see what they’ll be offering on their Christmas menu. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I stopped in after meeting, who I believe is the owner at a college and career day at Neptune High School. Great atmosphere and Friendly Staff. We ordered a cheesesteak and a oven baked turkey sandwich- which was amazing. I will be back to purchase meats. Well worth the stop in.

First off I’d like to say there’s a reason why I come to palmers whenever I can when I live in ocean county. After a very small mix up with the turkey I ordered for thanksgiving the owner had definitely read my face on how I felt. He went above and beyond to make things right even when I told him it wasn’t necessary. The turkey was absolutely amazing and will continue to use palmers. High quality meat would recommend for anyone.

The Cubano sandwich is outstanding — the quality of the meat and the perfection of the flavors truly stand out. I’d love to see it featured at least four times a year. =) Kudos for offering such a fantastic option, my praises to the team for bringing this delicious sandwich to us! Magnificent!

Cheesesteak and tallow fried chicken tender sandwhich were top notch. Quality meats, seed oil free, fermented semolina bread 🙏 People were friendly and service was excellent. Will be back when we are in town.

The quality of the meat is outstanding. Much fresher and better tasting than grocery stores. I've been purchasing various steaks from them several times a week for a couple months. Like it a lot!

Had the cheesesteak and it was full of flavor and was just great. Definitely one of the best in NJ and Philly. Will definitely be visiting regularly to get this particular sandwich

We recently purchased a 1/2 cow. We delt with Doug who is very thorough and patient as he walked us through the process and helped us decide on the cuts we would like to receive. He is super nice and knowledgeable and made this process so easy from start to finish. He delivered the boxes right to my doorstep and went through them with us. I not only highly recommend Doug, & Palmer Quality meats but I will tell you this, it is the best grass fed beef we’ve ever eaten and will definitely be back next year!! Thank you Doug!!

These folks are amazing - I spoke to one of the Owners, I think, and he helped me beyond expectation - I have a friend going through tough times in the area- I live in NC and want to see if he would be willing to deliver some meat - True most people will send flowers, but you have to know my friend - MEAT solves all problems - He went beyond the call of duty and was so kind to help out .. He also mentioned he was helping the folks in Asheville, NC - so send your business to the company - they get it !! - Common Sense! Take care of people! and you know what we will take care of them !! Jersey Strong!

It's pretty sad to say after all the great reviews that were brought upon this place I ordered our food Saturday at 11:10 a.m. to cheesesteaks for 12:00 pickup as of 12:20 as I was walking out the door and sitting in my truck without my sandwiches The woman came out they gave it to me brought them back to my shop and gave them to my guys when they opened it up they threw them in the garbage not even a bite there was 90% bread 5% cheese 5% steak after waiting over an hour and other people walking in the door ordering their sandwiches after me and getting them that is pathetic I will never go back there no matter what

Surgical cleanliness, affable staff, excellent quality. You just know if they don't have something, they'll be happy to source it for you. Not inexpensive, but you're happy to open your walket up for such good meat.

Decent selection of high quality beef, pork and chicken meats along with random other goodies. Took home a cheese steak sandwich for lunch that was absolutely awesome. Sorry after taking one bite could not stop eating it till finished, therefore did not take a photo. Go on their Facebook page to get an idea. Will return for sure..

Wow. Just wow. Stopped in before Christmas to order a boneless pork loin for Christmas Eve dinner. Staff is friendly and helpful. While there we decided to pick up a couple of their "sandwich of the day." Chicken was so incredibly flavorful and the bread so fresh! As for the Christmas pork, I've been making it for 30+ years, sometimes from King's, sometimes from Whole Foods, sometimes from a local butcher where we used to live. Palmer's pork (which they are happy to season!) was hands down the most delicious, tender, flavorful pork I've ever cooked. I had 15 guests for dinner and all of them wanted to know where I got the pork because it was my best ever! You will pay more, no question about it. But it's worth every penny!

Quality is never in question at Palmers, they have Some of the freshest meat selection around. Today was the first time I went shopping in this place for myself and It was a great experience. Greeted with a smile and "hello" when you walk in the door and Dane was super helpful in finding me the right cuts of meat based on what I've had in the past. These guys are what makes shopping at small businesses great, highly recommend!!

I've tried the cheesesteak sandwich and the pork cutlet w/caesar salad sandwich and they are two of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. I'd rate them more than 5 stars if I could. Can't recommend Palmer's sandwiches enough.

I have been frequenting Palmer's since their opening with good reason! They provide high quality, fresh, and thoughtful food. In addition to their whole meat offerings I love their pork belly mac & cheese, cheese steak sandwich special, breakfast sandwiches, and stuffed Italian long hot peppers. Friendly, knowledgeable, genuine staff rounds the place out. Thank you, Palmer's, for being just what we needed in our community!

Excellent meat and so many different choices. I personally loved the filet minion and chicken but there is so much more I'll need to try. Excellent customer service and delivery available- that is a huge plus! Butch-ing at its finest.

Palmers is the best butcher shop in New Jersey, hands-down. Doug has incredibly high standards and attention to detail. They butcher entire grass fed, locally raised steer. nothing is shipped in plastic. It is the highest quality meat around. I wouldn't eat anything else.

Wow! Was driving by and swung in on a fluke. Bought port chops (off the chart amazing). Sausage and steak. Perfection. And the guys who own it are awesome. Exactly what the Jersey shore needs. My new "only" place for meat. Fantastic!!

Incredible quality, excellent customer service, and reasonable pricing make Palmer's the perfect place to source your meats. I ordered 2 and a half pounds of skirt steak for an occasion and told them I needed them a few days ahead of when I needed to cook them. They vacuum sealed it for me to keep them fresh and I am still blown away at how fresh and deep the flavor was. If you want a local butcher that cares about their product and their customers, try them out!

Beach house closed up for the season; but so worth the drive to come get the Porchetta for our Christmas dinner. Usually purchase in the city at Eately which we have always loved. But after having yesterdays from Palmers will always be coming back to the beach for it. The smell From the start of cooking made our mouths water and for sure it did not disappoint. Tender and delicious.

I went in on Sunday and even though they were closed, I was greeted and taken care of anyway. Such a warm and family like atmosphere with amazing service. I purchased Hanger Steak, and it was absolutely melt in your mouth amazing! I highly recommend and will definitely be a return customer! This place is 5-stars!!!

The burgers and sausages are some of the best you can get in jersey. The staff is friendly and very Edgar to answer any question you throw their way! This is now my new butcher shop.
