PALMHOUSE

Words can’t describe how amazing my experience at Palmhouse was!! The space is absolutely incredible. The staff was attentive and able to help me get cocktails and food that met my dietary needs. The venue manager really helped make the space feel complete, she was very helpful in answering my questions and catering the space to feel like my own. The bar staff was also really knowledgeable, my guests still rave about them to this day!!!

Amazing!!! We absolutely loved working with Palmhouse. They made our wedding day beyond perfect. The space is gorgeous and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend for your next event!

Palmhouse is an excellent option for a party venue. The space is open and beautiful, and the staff is top notch! I’ve never hosted a party that was as stress-free for me as this - Monica and her team thought of everything and took care of everything. Best party ever!

This is one of my favorite places to entertain at. It's a great, versatile space that can be transformed into just about anything. I've seen everything from weddings to mitzvahs here. Lots of industrial chique elements, a very nice bar, bridal suites & easy parking. The management team is exceptional!

WE LOVE PALMHOUSE! Seriously cannot recommend India, Janek, and the rest of the Palmhouse team enough. We were lucky to book our June 2022 wedding at Palmhouse in early 2021. India was so patient while we came in to visit so many times, answered our many, many questions about logistics, and really took amazing care of us. Janek and his team were AWESOME! We got so many compliments on the service all night. Janek met with us before the wedding to plan our signature drinks and we had the most fun trying cocktails and wines on a Tuesday night - HIGHLY recommend! As an Evanstonian, I really wanted to have our wedding reception somewhere local and Palmhouse fit the bill from every angle - beautiful venue that could accommodate our 200-ish guest count no problem, great outdoor space, beautiful (and big) bar, the community fridge that supports residents who need extra food, and a commitment to supporting other local/woman-owned businesses :). We are just so happy with our choice to have our wedding reception at Palmhouse, now I'm just bummed now that we don't have another Palmhouse party to look forward to. 10/10 recommend!!! Wow! What a phenomenal space for any sophisticated event, or throw-down party! I was gob smacked when I walked in to find this beautiful, architecturally interesting space on the Evanston side of Howard Street. Howard Street holds many surprises these days and, I tell you, this is one of the best. The food was a heavy order menu from the peckish pig, right next door. The waitstaff kept everything spotlessly clean throughout the event. The bartenders were friendly and accommodating. The lighting in this space, the decor, the dramatic height of the ceiling with skylights, the long curtains and the polished floor let the imagination see all of the events one could picture being held, with such success, at this place. This would be fabulous for a wedding reception, introducing a new band or launching an EP or LP, a corporate get-together, a bar or bat mitzvah. Anything really. Just a phenomenal space.

We hosted a 50th Birthday party here in February, and we had a wonderful time! Everyone was impressed by the beauty of the space and the capability and kindness of Monica and her crew.

Everything was fine with this event venue except a one huge issue; the A/C is woefully under powered. On a stifling hot day the temperature inside was a degree hotter than outside. It was brutal.
