Palo Alto Sol

The mole and gaujillo enchiladas were amazing! I loved that they had refried black beans, and the nachos were beautifully layered. Staff was very attentive and in a great mood. Can’t wait to come back again!

Food was decent, but didn't feel very homemade or authentic. Salsa was excellent and strong margarita. I'd go again and get drinks and chips and salsa, and skip the food.

Recommended if after any Mexican food in large portions on a night out with friends. Not recommended if on a date or after better than average Mexican food. We paid $35/person total including a drink, which was a bit too much for the quality. Attire casual or smart casual.

The food is okay, not bad at all, but not good-enough and certainly not worth going out of your way for. There is no “mexican” flavor here. The service is bad. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, but it wasn’t crowded, six people standing around doing nothing, took a while to be seated, they brought water right away but took 15 minutes to bring cups. The server would just kind of toss the plates down and run off, pretty hard to get anyone’s attention. The food and service felt impersonal.

Terrible microwaved food. We came to break our fast for iftar and was hoping for a better quality of food as they have many good reviews. We left with tummy cramps and feeling VERY regretful for our choice to eat here. If it was possible to ask for a refund, we would. It was that bad. We ordered 2 dishes: A shrimp dish with garlic and cilantros, came with stale rice, microwaved beans and like 6 shrimp (3 with tails) for $28. Steak fajitas that were probably made earlier that day and was microwaved before coming to our table and stale rice for $28. The red salsa and chips were good though, but could have been because we were fasting and hungry. Would never ever ever come back here. Tummy cramps and feeling cheated isn’t a good combo. It’s been a week or so since we went and my hubby still reminds me of how terrible it was… what a waste of our hard earned money.

ok I love PA Sol! Been going there since my youth and I am never disappointed. Frankly I basically always get a margarita carafe, their guac and chips and the enchiladas al Sol. The (super friendly and professional) wait staff basically know my order by now.😅😅 Would recommend! Wish I had a pic to prove it!

Go here regularly. The pitcher of margarita and the steak burrito are great choices!
