I was walking by at 2pm today (April 8, 2025) when I saw a new, soft, opening for Pamilya for modern Filipino comfort food. This is located in a small strip mall at 756 Woodside Rd, Redwood City, CA. I walked in to find a nice, clean, casual restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. I asked what to get and they recommended the lunch entree combo. I chose the BBQ chicken with a base of half garlic rice and half pancit canton/bihon (noodles). Then I added mixed veggies, pickled papaya, pickled cucumbers and three pork/shrimp lumpias. (They have many other protein entrees, sides, toppings, and desserts!). I ate the lumpias with the sweet and sour sauce first and liked that they weren’t greasy at all. The BBQ Manilla chicken was served on sticks (like a kabob) and was fantastic! They sauce we just perfect, they had a nice sear on the outside yet still moist on the inside. Both base choices of the garlic rice and the pancit could have been warmer but I did come at the end of lunchtime so that might have been the issue but they tasted nice and were perfectly cooked. The pickled papaya and the pickled cucumbers were sooooo good and served cold. While my lunch cost me about $21.00, it was at least two meals worth and I brought the extra home. I look forward to going back there!

Bangus sisig was my favorite!! I had it with garlic rice and eggs + the garlic chili oil and it was such a great combo. The chocolate cake is to die for. So moist and addicting. I also had the halo halo, I was never a fan of halo halo but this one is different cause it has no beans and I finished it to the last drop!

Google
I didn’t have to pre order the pancit bihon tray, I just waited 15mins for them to cook it fresh! The flavor of the pork sisig makes the taste stand out and the mochi bibingka cake (small size) is so moist! There’s ample parking and I went around Merienda time not crowded at all.

Very nice space and good Filipino food. Glad to see another well executed Filipino joint in the peninsula!!!! Will definitely keep coming back to try other dishes! The Bicol Express was perfectly tasty!

Google
Wow. So happy to have them in RWC! Friendly Philippines style. I ❤️ Filipinos! They gives you samples to help you decide. Great food. Solid bihon. Garlic rice is not heavy just hint of garlic. Bangus sisig! Yay! Also had bicol express. Beef Tagalog. everything's good. Just veggies are little hard. But happy to have veggies at all in Filipino food. Lol. Great price.

Enjoyed my first visit & will be back! Tasty, fresh, generously-portioned, and a good balance of traditional flavors (from the perspective of being a Filipino-American myself) & contemporary sensibility. We tried 2 entree-side combos. It works kind of like Panda Express: you've got the bowl, 1-entree, or 2-entree plates - except you also get vegetables & pickles with everything, and additional sides come with the entree plates. Honestly, the 1-entree plate is sufficient for at least 2 meals for me - the portion was extremely generous. Particularly tasty & fresh lumpia (pork & shrimp) - hot & crispy! I recommend trying it with a side of fish sauce (really good)! The pancit canton was surprisingly tasty - I enjoyed Pamilya's more than traditional pancit canton I'm used to eating. I also appreciated that as compared to a lot of traditional counter-based Filipino eateries, the food here is not over cooked - it's cooked just right - and the food isn't greasy either, which I'm used to with traditional Filipino food. So it was a nice new take on the cuisine. Looking forward to trying their all-day breakfast next time as well as other dishes!

Google
Food was authentic. Service was a bit unorganized and slow. Part of our order was still cooking when we were ready to sit down and eat so they said they’d bring it to our table. They never did so we had to remind them on our way out and packed it to go.

Google
The menu suggested they have lechon on weekends. Did not count on supplier not available on holiday. We drove 12 miles so we moved to plan B. We chose pork BBQ sticks, fairly tasty with a nice char to it. Meat were decent pieces of pork. I do, however, like a little more fat on the pork. The garlic rice was tasty. The pancit was a bit overcooked, a preference is a little al dente noodle and perhaps a slice of lime. The veggies were a little over steamed as well, surprise to see veggies as a choice. The lumpia needed a bit more crisp. The food was tepid but I think it would overcook if left on heated steamer. Mom liked the achara, pickled papaya and cucumbers. Service was nice.

Yelp
Agh!! I love Pamilya. As a local Filipino who actually doesn't go out of her way to seek out Filipino food I love that there's a new local spot with delicious flavors. I've been trying Pamilya since it was a ghost kitchen on DoorDash. I limited my orders since it was quite expensive, especially for takeout. But now that they have a brick and mortar and the portion sizes have gotten to match their prices, it's so worth it. My husband and I can easily share a 2 entree plate. My favorites are both the bangus sisig and the pork sisig and the pancit sotanghon. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is so cute to dine in! Will be back again and again.

Yelp
Living on this side of the Bay Area makes it a little tough when craving Filipino food but not having the time to make it yourself (especially if you want a variety between just a couple)! SO glad we found this place because it is delicious! Dare I say, I rather go here over Goldilocks. Very tender, not too oily, and flavorful. My husband and I really appreciated all the sides that come with the plates (pickled sides, veggies, and appetizers). Also, very friendly staff and beautiful dining space. We will be back!

Yelp
This place opened up in April 20 25 and one of my teammates heard about it so our team went there for lunch. There is a variety of Filipino food and people were encouraged to taste to choose what they liked for their lunch. There are several sizes of meals. The staff were super friendly and very helpful! I ordered the pork Express (sorry, forgot the name) with half and half of garlic rice and noodles, along with the empanadas. Very generous portions and there was no way I was gonna eat it all in one sitting! There's a generous dollop of pickles that are delicious! I need to go back because there are so many more flavors I want to try. Generally the meals cost about $20 plus or -2 or three dollars.

Yelp
My tita lives in Redwood City and she is so happy (me too) to finally have a Filipino restaurant in the area. The vibes are immaculate - workers were friendly and helpful and spoke Tagalog, and they also sold Dubai chocolate and chocolates from the OG Filipino creator of Dubai Chocolate. Food is great - I'm used to seeing bangus sisig and gising gising (especially the latter) in the Philippines only and they had both, and my tita and I loved both. We also got combos with the pancit, chicken bbq, and the various pickled vegetables (atsara). Definitely recommend checking out and supporting this spot!

Yelp
First time ordering from here. I was glad to know there was a new Filipino restaurant in Redwood City (as a Filipina) and I wanted to check it out! Food: yummy . I wish the bangus silog came with vinegar (my delivery order didn't come with it) though. I was supposed to get 3 veggie lumpias but it came with only 2. DoorDash gave me credit for the issue so I was okay. The delivery was faster than anticipated so that was good! Ambiance: I have not gone inside so I can't say my opinion. I'll order from here again, hope there's no issues next time!

Yelp
Yummy Filipino food in Redwood City! Pamilya is tucked away in a small plaza, and though the parking in front of the restaurant is limited, they have more parking behind the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is huge and has a lot of chairs and tables. This restaurant offers a choose-your-own style of ordering (similar to Chipotle or Panda Express). I ordered their all-day breakfast special, where you can choose one entree (out of the four on the breakfast special menu) and it comes with 2 scoops of garlic rice, two eggs, and ensalada (pickled mixed veggies). For my entree, I ordered longanisa, and it came with 4 pieces. The longanisa was super juicy, and though small, it was still meaty and filling. The ensalada provided a refreshing bite to the hearty and savory foods. My personal preference, but I wished the garlic rice was a little bit more garlicky! Though this restaurant was a little bit more limited with its food, it had all the necessary Filipino classics, and it's perfect for people who want to try Filipino food for the first time!

Yelp
I'm glad to be able to discover this place! They serve tasty & healthy Filipino food with a lot of option! I wasn't familiar with their cuisine but employees were very friendly and explained each. You can get both noodle and rice as base with side of vegetables and pickled veggies and choice of your meat as entree, I chose chicken skewer which was sweet n savory. For side I got eggs rolls but they also have empanadas or bao. I only got one entree but I was more than full. Food was pre cooked but tasted fresh and served like Chinese takeout so very quick to get your food. The restaurant was decorated well with spacious seating and kept clean. Their desert also looks great. Wished they have one in South Bay then I would be coming back many times!

Yelp
Place is pretty spacious and modern! Love the decor, it's so cute. We ordered bbq pork, and pork sisig as our main entree and both were pretty tasty. Barely tastes the garlic in the rice but was still good. Lumpia was still hot and crispy. Overall everything tasted pretty good. The 2 entree was enough for 2 people but if you come in with the big appetite definitely can eat the whole thing.

Yelp
I love this place!! My coworkers and I showed up here for lunch on a Friday and bombarded them with 20+ orders. Pamilya is build your own bowl- like chipotle with Filipino food. I got the half noodles half garlic rice as a base with chicken adobo as my main with a side of lumpia. Everything was so so good, the chicken adobo was heavenly with the noodles. Will definitely try the other noodles next time I'm there. All of my coworkers loved the food as well. So happy to welcome Pamilya to the neighborhood!

Yelp
The food was very tasty and very much comfort food. I did two plates, each with a side. The first plate was the garlic rice and one type of the pancit noodles with the chicken skewers. The server said that it was the best selling item. And it was indeed very tasty especially with the sauce which gives it that sweet and savory taste. The plate also comes with veggies and for the side I did the chicken empanadas(which were also good). The second plate I did another half and half base with the garlic rice and the bihon pancit noodles, Bicol express (spicy pork stew) and for the side I did the pork and shrimp lumpia. Highly recommend the Bicol express with garlic rice. The service was pretty good. The line staff were very patient with a lot of the people in line who were new customers. They were all smiles and laughing. The ambiance is also nice, there are some dine in tables on the left going all the way to the back of the restaurant and the kitchen is on the right. It's a semi open kitchen so you can see them cooking most of the food. Sauces, water and cutlery are self service. There is parking in the front and back of the restaurant. If you plan on driving, I recommend to actually enter through the plaza before and the lot connects on both sides. You can enter the restaurant from both sides

Yelp
Popped in to try the halo halo because there aren't many spots I've found in the Peninsula and I'm telling you: go.there.now. Halo halo had fruit, custard, hearty scoop of ube ice cream, ube paste -- I'm telling you it was a happy universe of textures. The lumpia case was trying to keep up with demand. It was around 1pm on a Saturday so maybe replenishment time was nigh. Inviting vibe with seating accessible, if you or friends have mobility issues. Restrooms have a lock code and this round I didn't have time to see if there are changing tables or grab bars. Service was quick and friendly. Parking can be tricky as the lot and spots on the street were at capacity so I parked some distance away and walked over. Very much looking forward to a return visit to try the dishes (I might swing back around today for more halo halo + food. Don't judge) EDIT: went back to try a dish (and get lore halo halo) and my belly is so happy I did. I love that they aren't shy with the flavors; all are bold without being overwhelming. I couldn't decide between the two pancits so he let me get 1/2 & 1/2 as well as sample the bicol express, which had a manageable heat to it. The garlic rice was tasty without leaving me with dreaded garlic breath. I appreciate the bicol express was in a separate container so that the whole bowl didn't become mushy. My new favorite spot!

Yelp
Stumbled upon a new Filipino spot, and it felt like discovering a hidden song playing just for the next generation. The vibe is fresh, the staff young and sharp, and the food? Thoughtfully curated, like pages from a well-loved recipe book passed down and reimagined. From sizzling sisig and sweet plantains to bold Bicol express, creamy ube salads, and tangy mango calamansi--every bite feels intentional. The bibingka? Comfort in cake form. And yes, the garlic rice delivers exactly what it should. Their menu doesn't just follow tradition--it dances with it. Try it. You just might fall in love.

Yelp
Dropped by last Saturday for some take-out Filipino food. As far as I know, this is the only Filipino restaurant in RWC. Picked out the 2 entree choice, went with Kaldereta and Sisig along with garlic rice and pancit, came with veggies. I noticed that they had bbq sticks, so I had to try their pork and chicken bbq. The food was all very tasty, my Filipina wife was very happy that I came home with cuisine from her culture, plus some polvoron and halo halo. The folks behind the counter were all friendly and helpful. The place was very fresh, new and clean. Since she works nearby, I'm certain she will be back on her lunch break.

Yelp
Yay a good Filipino place! I've been here a couple times with my boyfriend and his family since they live in the peninsula and every time it's been good. They give you enough food for two meals in one which is pretty sweet and service has always been great. It's clean and modern inside and it's run Chipotle/Panda Express style where you choose a base and then entrees and sides etc. Y'all really gotta try the tuxedo cake (and the mango calamansi juice)!

Yelp
There is a new Filipino restaurant in Redwood City! There is a parking lot in the back as well and I usually don't have problems finding parking here. This place felt kind of like a Filipino Chipotle. You pick your carb, your main entree, and add some veggies, and add a side (for extra). You can also do half and half noodles and rice so I did that. I tried the Bicol Express because I like coconut milk curry dishes and I was pleased with how rich and creamy this dish was. It said it had shrimp paste which I can tolerate in small quantities and I didn't really taste it too much. The protein here was pork, which was not bad. The noodles were good and reminded me of thin lo mein. I thought the fried rice could have used some more salt. The pickled vegetables weren't bad either. I also paid a little extra for veggie lumpia and it was fine, fried well, nothing too crazy. It went well with the sauce. Overall I was pleased with the meal although Filipino food tends to be fried and/or on the oilier side. My stomach was a little upset afterwards but I'd eat this food again! I did think it was quite yummy.

Yelp
This place doesn't have the biggest menu option but they sure have great Filipino food and good service. Ordered for takeout and my food was ready upon pick up. I ordered the Longinisa Silog. As simple as it was, it was cooked well, very decilious, and satisfying in terms of making me full. I even enjoyed the brown rice that was cooked to perfection. Salamat, Pamilya!
google avatar

Yelp
we got the 1 entree sotanghon/fried rice, bangus sisig and lumpiang shanghai and 1 entree pancit/fried rice, boneless adobo with chicken empanada. they both came with appetizer also got plantain extra $1. They were tasty not too salty. Friday lunch parking was a little hard. Is located in the same plaza as Popeye's
google avatar

Brandee M.

Yelp
I really hope this place does well because Woodside rd needs something like this. The employees are friendly and the food was pretty good. The quality is pretty good and I would come back for lunch here. Parking isn't the greatest so that would be the only bad thing I would say about this
google avatar

Yelp
It's not easy to find good Filipino food on the Peninsula south of Daly City. Pamilya fills the void with its menu of Filipino eats prepared and ready to dish out from a steam table. The servers here were super friendly and showed us all the different items they offered. The ordering style is similar to Panda Express, where you pick a starchy base along with various entrees. The bases included Garlic Rice (a Filipino classic), Pancit Sotanghon (stir-fried rice noodles in a sweet and savory sauce), and Pancit Canton (stir-fried egg noodles with vegetables), and you could mix and match. The entrees I tried included Chicken Adobo (boneless chicken in a dark, vinegary, savory sauce), Beef Kaldereta (spicy tomato-based beef and vegetable stew), Bicol Express (a spicy pork stew with coconut milk and shrimp paste--one of their most popular dishes), and my personal favorite, Bangus Sisig (minced milkfish cooked with onions, citrus, and soy in a creamy mayo-based sauce). Each entree was tasty in its own way, and each combo came with cooked mixed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn) and pickled toppings including cabbage, cucumbers, red onions, and jalapeños, which added a bright acidity and crunch to the rather heavy dishes. In addition, each combo also came with a side, and I had the Lumpia Shanghai, the famous fried Filipino spring roll filled with minced pork and shrimp, and served with a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping. As if that weren't enough, to cap off the meal, I also tried their Halo Halo, a multi-layered dessert with sweetened beans, flan, jellies, cornflakes, coconut milk, and more, all topped with a scoop of ube ice cream (my favorite part)! Overall, this was a fantastic place for a casual meal in a clean, modern setting with great service and fair prices!

Yelp
Not what I expected. Very similar to Goldilocks at Seafood City. Food is pre-cooked in mass and sits out in metal containers and they scoop out per order. Food is served in to go containers, even if eating in the restaurant. The pork stick was too fatty / rubbery and I could tell it had been sitting around seems like it was made with pork belly and the fat wasn't properly rendered. The pork stick at Goldilocks is way better. Same with the lumpia. It's pre-made and sits in a heated display case. And one of my lumpia had a big piece of cartilage which wasn't a pleasant bite. The restaurant itself is optically pleasing and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Great tasty Filipino home cooked meals at good value and available "turo turo" style. We ordered the 2 entree meals which is more than enough to feed 6 people! We tried the mix rice noodles (bihon) garlic rice (sinagag), pork b-que, chicken adobo, longanisa( sausage), beef stew n halo halo w Uber ice cream. No losers in the list. Definitely coming back. The place is bright and clean and service is quick. It is worth a try if you want a good Filipino meal.

Yelp
Everything about this place is amazing. It is so cute inside and very clean + the staff is so friendly. We ordered 2 bowls; one with half garlic rice/pancit and chicken adobo & one with half white rice/pancit and bistek tagalog. The food was all so amazing, it reminded me of my grandma's cooking (it was close but her's is better lol)

Yelp
I need to downgrade my first review. First of all - the positive : the prices are actually very reasonable - don't believe the other reports of expensive food - Filipinos are extremely cheap and are only focused on price not value . The place is extremely clean. Now here's the real issue : kitchen uses too much oil and cooking style is extremely heavy . The taste is cafeteria level so do not expect the flavor and content like higher end Pinoy places. Bicol express and beef steak are very very tasty but it's been 4 hours and I'm still bloated. Chef needs to adjust cooking method .

Yelp
I stopped by the soft opening. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It's a very modern set up inside which looks really nice. Lastly the food was really good. Give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I am so excited to have Pamilya in my neighborhood. FINALLY! A Filipino restaurant in Redwood City. And they will not disappoint you! The reviews prior to mine were all about tasty food and friendly employees. So true. I love the decor and the ambiance of the restaurant. I had the bangus sisig with 1/2 garlic rice & pancit canton bihon, pickled cucumbers and they let me choose 1 vege lumpia and 1 pork lumpia (instead of 2 of the same). Oh my! It hit the spot. I also tried the mango calamansi boba drink, it was not too sweet or sour, just right. I bought to go meals for my husband and daughter. He loved the bbq pork and El Nido shrimp (cooked at time of order, so you need to wait 5 minutes...) and that was yummy. For the pork sisig, I recommend asking them to put the garlic aioli on the side so it doesn't overpower the meat. I am going to keep coming back to try the rest of the menu. I love supporting family businesses and this restaurant is owned by a Filipino family. The husband, wife and mom of the husband were part of the amazing team behind the counter. There may have been more family but I didn't get to say hello yet to them. I highly recommend you try this restaurant! Their first Sunday to open will be Mother's Day.

Yelp
Had such high hopes for this place. A friend and I made a special trek to find it. The menu needs a lot of explanation if you are unfamiliar with this food. I know some basics but not all the dishes in the warming trays. Counter folks were fairly nice in that they wanted to help but offered no insight into preparation or what a basic order might be. Got the big plate to share. It was ok. Tried the halo halo. That was expensive but again. Shared. Better than the meal. Vegetables were flavorless mush. Chicken and pork skewers were super tough and sort of dry. Got a tiny taste of the GARLIC rice. So garlicky it was unpalatable. The lumpia - was sooo looking forward to those - they were cold and greasy. Would order much differently if going back but don't expect to return. Too complicated and not enough info. Oh. And they ran out of forks. Um.... They ended up getting some but still. How do you run out of eating utensils?? Containers were mostly compostable. That was nice. The place was clean.

Yelp
The pancit here is my favorite. Generally, the bowls have a significant amount of good food and a nice variety. Would order from here again.

Yelp
I was excited to try this newly opened Filipino restaurant in Redwood City. Saw it under renovation and noticed the sign last year. When I found out they finally opened I was ecstatic to try. The place is conveniently located in the stretch of Woodaide rd. With plenty of parking in the front and more at the back of the restaurant. The place is clean and nicely decorated. It has a style of a fast food way of ordering where the food is deliciously displayed and you pick and choose your items. I was excited to taste their cooking and I elected to order a half and half of garlic rice with sotanghon pancit, with bangus Sisig/egg and Bicol express, I also got a side of their vegetable Lumpias and achara. I also got the mango calamansi sago for my drink. The staff that helped me, her name was "tiny" was very sweet, kind and helpful. I ate there and found myself a nice table to dine in. I can say I enjoyed thier food as it was made and cooked fresh and tasted spot on delicious! I will definitely come back and try them again. I highly recommend.

Yelp
I was walking by at 2pm today (April 8, 2025) when I saw a new, soft, opening for Pamilya for modern Filipino comfort food. This is located in a small strip mall at 756 Woodside Rd, Redwood City, CA. I walked in to find a nice, clean, casual restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. I asked what to get and they recommended the lunch entree combo. Yelp
Friendly staff that was very patient with me because it took me forever to decide what to get. I ended up going with the 2 entree+app to get the most bang for my buck. I did half and half garlic rice and pancit canton, then Bicol express and beefsteak for my entrees. I liked how they added toppings (like the red pickles I think) and then pork shrimp lumpia for my app. The entrees were delicious! Tasty and meat was tender for both. The pancit canton was delicious. The lumpia could use improvements, the filling was a bit odd. I suspect it was already bought somewhere premade. For $28 for everything it was a good amount of food. I liked the generous amount they give for the entrees considering it cost me almost $30 for lunch. I will say the prices aren't that competitive with cheaper lunch options for workers who may be trying to save some money if they don't have lunch to eat. But I intend on spreading my left overs across another 2 meals lol. Ambiance was very clean and plenty of seating inside. Park behind! Don't bother parking at the front

Yelp
Food was great! First time having Filipino food and it was great food for dinner and tomorrow's lunch (I still have a lot left). The service is so wonderful and very attentive to what they're serving you. I had ordered garlic rice at first, however they tasted the batch and felt it wasn't good serving and asked if I was okay with the change to white rice. The place was nice and cool feels great to sit and eat with friends. I'm also grateful for the Halo Halo they gave me on the house for the garlic rice inconvenience. Extraordinary people and food would come again with friends. Please come support them and try their food.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant! Service was great, they were so helpful explaining all the dishes, and even gave a taste of some of food before ordering. The food was really yummy. I had every intention of getting the chicken adobo, but the pork in coconut sauce looked pretty appealing. One taste and I was sold! The garlic rice pairs well with it too. For dessert, we tried the Halo halo, and it was soooo good. So much going on in it, every bite had a new little tidbit of deliciousness.

Yelp
very friendly staff, a very clean and well appointed dining room. The food was terrific and a good value. If you like Philippine food this is a good local spot to try.

Yelp
Was super excited to find a Filipino restaurant south of DC, and Pamilya did not disappoint! Classic plate dinner style service with a wide choice of carbs, proteins, and sides. I highly recommend the garlicky rice and the pancit. The crispy pork sisig was crunchy and tender, with just the right amount of seasoning. Their flavors are slightly less vinegar and sugar forward than typical Filipino taste but that worked perfectly for me. The owner couple Jed and Terese offered great service and ambience for a fast-casual place. I'll be back! .

Yelp
Drove across the bay to try this place with my parents for lunch. I was a little nervous because my mom who's a good cook is picky with Filipino restaurants. But she really enjoyed the food and gave everything a thumbs up! My dad's favorite is pork sisig and it passed his test! Generous portions and complimentary veggies and appetizers, too. We couldn't finish everything because we wanted to make room for halo halo and sweet shelby. Good call on the desserts and leftover because the beef kaldereta was so tasty the next day. The owner was really friendly and the service is great, too! Happy to give five stars!

Yelp
Ordered a large order to go and they forgot the sides. We got the 2 entree combo. Adobo was ok - yes, mine is better or different than theirs- but family agreed it was just ok. The steak Tagalog was mediocre. Not much meat. Crispy pork Sisig was different. I've never had it kinda minced with chicharron powder on top. The Manila chicken bbq was tasty. Garlic rice was not flavorful but the vermicelli city was good. I might give it another chance. But Seasfood city is better.

Yelp
A great addition to our neighborhood! Run by a husband and wife with a friendly staff, the restaurant is cozy and attractive. The food delicious? Staff will walk you through your choices and what the difference in each Filipino dish is. It's substantial plate for $24 which can fill you up or give you enough for another meal. Check them out!

Yelp
Ambience and location is good, but I will never recommend this place. It's too expensive and the pancit sotanghon has nothing on it, no vegetables and meat, they just soak in the boiling water and soy sauce too salty. And i asked for a free soup but they want me to pay $11. I am very disappointed with the amount i've pay. Food and the price are not worth it.

Yelp
We drove a little bit to try some filipino food. It was well worth the drive. The staff greeted us with their great smiles. The food was really good . I ordered one entrée plate . I ordered Chicken, adobo, with side appetizers mixed vegetables , the 1/2 garlic rice , 1/2 pancit. My husband ordered the two entrées, with beef steak and beef kaldereta . He loved it . He also ordered the corn bread , he said it was nice and moist: I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Food was good but not sure what was "modern" about it. It was traditional Filipino food, and SO expensive! I definitely wouldn't go here if I was craving Filipino food. The staff are nice enough and as expected. The place was nice and clean. All in all I would go somewhere else for Filipino food only because if I'm gonna pay for food I don't want my pocket to hurt for it! Try it out if you want but be prepared to pay at least $60 for two people!

Yelp
Omg. I love flip food but damn. For the cost i would Just go to seafood city. Enough said. The food is like rushed cuisine. Mediocre food. Ample parking high visibility but it Just doesn't do it for me. Up your game. It's like a shiny car that doesn't perform. Do better.

Yelp
Nice friendly staff very clean store authentic Filipino food. It was my first time there everything was so yummy. It only cost me $28.02 for a barbecue plate with a side of Mac. I fed me and my two kids off one plate.

Yelp
I appreciate the warm welcome!!! We came in wanting Lechón but it's only available weekends. So we asked for recommendations and they were all too happy to help. We ordered the two entree meal that comes with veggies and a side. The portion was huge. Absolutely delicious as well. The sisig was crunchy and the rice garlicky...just delicious. Its a cute spot with seating. It was also quiet clean. Definitely will be back and will try to go on a weekend to try the lechón.

Yelp
The jury is still out. We came here for lunch after a Mother's Day hike, curious to try a new local Filipino spot. The place has only been open for a few weeks, and while the staff was enthusiastic, the ordering process felt a bit chaotic--several people behind the counter, but no clear system for taking orders. Based on other reviews mentioning generous portions, we ordered two plates: a breakfast dish and the bangus sisig. However, there were a few surprises. The breakfast plate, which usually includes eggs, had an additional charge of $3.95. The cucumber topping and papaya, which we thought were included with the sisig, also had an extra $1.00 charge. It was a busy day, but there were two open tables that were free; while it looked clean, there were a smear of food on the side which I ended up wiping myself. While the space generally looks clean, little details like that do matter to me. As for the food: the garlic rice didn't really taste like garlic, though there was a lot of it. The bangus sisig was okay--nothing standout, and lacking a bit in flavor. That said, I appreciate being able to get dishes I don't usually make at home, so we ordered dessert to go. Overall, the pricing feels high for a counter-service setup, especially when rice or noodles make up the bulk of the "big portions." I want to support local Filipino businesses, and I'm open to coming back to try other dishes--but likely not soon, and only when I'm craving Filipino food I don't want to cook myself. If the owners want to succeed long-term, I'd suggest they revisit their pricing strategy and streamline the lunch service for a smoother experience.

Yelp
"Everything is delicious at this place! The food was cooked perfectly and the authentic flavors made me feel like I was home. The service was excellent. The dining area is nice and can accommodate any large group in case you have a celebration or family dinner. The music playing reminded me of home in the Philippines while I enjoyed my delicious food."

Yelp
Enjoyed my first visit & will be back! Tasty, fresh, generously-portioned, and a good balance of traditional flavors (from the perspective of being a Filipino-American myself) & contemporary sensibility. We tried 2 entree-side combos. It works kind of like Panda Express: you've got the bowl, 1-entree, or 2-entree plates -- except you also get vegetables & pickles with everything, and additional sides come with the entree plates.
