Pamlico Station Edgecamp

This place is perfect for visitors. It’s on the only main road that goes through. The Pamilco Sound is in clear view to see some amazing sunsets. There’s no pool but they more than make up for it with clean, well-functioning sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub, which is all on the top deck. The rooms were very nice and modern. It’s like staying in a 1 bedroom apartment. Well equipped kitchen. The interior design is lovely. The beach is a 7 minute walk. We walked there about 6 times during our 3 night stay. There’s a taco truck about 3 minute walk distance and a bar too. Highly recommend this place. This was our first time in the area. We will be back!

Just as the article in Southern Living described Pamlico Station is newly completely renovated with all the amenities to make a great vacation. Nice kitchen, huge walk in shower, and washer and dryer. Very clean with trendy furnishings. The view of the sound from the front walkway area was great to watch the kite surfers and the fabulous sunsets. The Atlantic beach was just a short walk down a residential street. We took our wheeled buggy that converts to a beach chair to carry a second chair, umbrella and our cooler to the beach. Our host was excellent and responded immediately when our code did not work to enter the wellness area. the wellness area has a sauna, hot tube, two cold plunge tubs and area to rest and enjoy the sun. We definitely recommend Pamlico Station.

The resort is beautiful and perfectly Decorated. The amenities were perfect for us… we used the sauna and plunge every day. The town is very sleepy and remote so if you’re planning to eat out, be prepared to drive a good bit. We bought groceries and cooked pretty much every day in our perfect little kitchen.

Pamlico Station offered wonderful accommodations for our trip to the outer banks! Our unit was exquisitely designed, very clean and super comfortable and relaxing! It was a nice spot to retire to at the end of exploring. It rained lot while we were there so we didn’t really use the amenities. While it was situated in Rodanthe, about a 1/2 hour drive south from the more major attractions, the drive down is gorgeous. There were a few places to eat nearby and 2 nice coffee shops. The full kitchen in the unit makes it easy to make meals. Nice to have parking and in room laundry as well!

We were fortunate to stay in the Wellness Suite and to say we were blown away is a massive understatement. The design was perfection, having a full kitchenette was awesome, access to the wellness amenities right from our room, was the cherry on top. The room was immaculate thanks to a detailed housekeeping team. Ken, the on-site presence was incredibly kind with the best smile and seemed to master the art being available when we needed him and no where to be found when we didn't. The Wellness Deck amenities (cold plunge, sauna, hot tub) was the BEST way to start the day! We also scheduled a HIIT class and massage while we were there and both were excellent. We have traveled the world and stayed in some really great places- Pamlico Station is without a doubt one of the best! Can't wait to return!

Just wanted to get away for a couple days with my daughter while she was home from college. Booked this last minute and it was absolutely perfect for us. Modern, clean, close to all the areas we wanted to visit. The fully stocked kitchen was so wonderful for my daughter who wanted to cook all her own meals instead of going out. We loved having keyless doors as we didn’t have to keep track of a hotel key. We will definitely be back!

Pamlico Station is a great place to stay on Hatteras Island for couples. The rooms are very comfortable, well appointed , quite spacious, and have wonderful amenities such as a washer and dryer, a generous sized living room and a complete kitchen. It's perfect for a couple visiting for windsports who don't need a full house, but want more comfort than is offered by the typical hotels on Hatteras Island. We will definitely stay there again.

This place is absolutely perfect! The beautifully designed accommodations by Jonathan Alder is unlike anything available in the OBX. We had a coveted end unit and the cleanliness, quietness and high end comfortable design was beyond our expectations. The spa/health deck was perfect and very well appointed for our athletes. The sunset view from the front was a comfortable and appreciated bonus. Sometimes you want more than just a place to lay your head and we sure found it here. We will definitely be back!
