The Best Filipino Restaurants In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"There’s a reason why people have been driving from as far as Key West to get their Filipino food fix at Pampangueña in Cutler Bay for the last 22 years. The grocery store operates as a restaurant three days a week (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) where sisters cook dishes they learned from their mother in their hometown of Pampanga (hence the name). The dishes change regularly. On the day we went, they had ginisang munggo (mung bean sew), deep-fried bangus, fried lumpia, sinigang with salmon head, and denengdeng (similar to the vegetable stew, pinakbet, but with the addition of more leafy vegetables). But whatever you do, don’t miss the silky leche flan, which they sell by the slice or as a whole." - cheryl tiu, ryan pfeffer

Pampangueña Review - Cutler Bay - Miami - The Infatuation

"There’s a reason why people have been driving from as far as Key West to get their Filipino food fix at Pampangueña in Cutler Bay for the last 22 years. The grocery store operates as a restaurant three days a week (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) when sisters Josie Magtoto-Lacsina and Elsa Magtoto-Burger cook dishes they learned from their mother in their hometown in Pampanga (hence the name). The dishes change regularly and each cost $6. The last time we went, they had super-comforting ginisang munggo (mung bean sew), deep-fried bangus, fried lumpia, sinigang with salmon head, and denengdeng (similar to the vegetable stew, pinakbet, but with the addition of more leafy vegetables). Also, don’t miss the leche flan, which they sell by the slice or as a whole, and is the perfect mix of silky, smooth, rich, and creamy. Since they have no set menu, Pampangueña welcomes advance orders and special requests too." - Cheryl Tiu

I called and asked how much for a foil pan of lumpia’s, they said $45. I asked how many are there, they said 60. I asked if they accept card or cash only? Because I know lumpia restaurant in Texas accept only cash. They said you pay when you come in. I showed up & the girl handed me a clear plastic tray with cut up lumpia basically 30 lumpia’s cut in half. Like what the hell?? I expected full length 60 lumpias not halves. I ended up paid $48.83. $45 for the half cut up lumpia’s, $3.15 for tax and $0.68 for non cash after I asked if they accept cash. Not only they cut them in halves they tasted freezer burnt, we threw it in the garbage. Disgusting🤮 What a waste of money. It’s our first time in Miami and I’ll never come back to this restaurant anymore.

Low key Filipino spot that everyone in the Cutler Bay Area raves about, so I had to try. When non Asians rave about how amazing the food is, how can you not?! I’ve eaten here twice & LOVED everything I had. The menu varies, but they always have many options. Their tofu was flavored amazingly, & I even tried some candied bacon & was blown away how bomb it was. This place is also a mini market & I appreciate the variety there as well.

We were there for breakfast. It was a bit far from us. We went there to gather with friends. It was our first time eating Filipino breakfast. They are like a lunch 🤭 Crispy fried Fish, Pork…. Rice and Eggs. It is a must have for Filipino breakfast. The atmosphere was nice. You feel you went to your cousin’s house for breakfast. The service was firebrand helpful. The food was tasty and feels like house. So Full and So Good 😅 You must try their dessert drink 🥰😋 We will definitely recommend others, and we will go back again. Atmosphere ———- (B+) Clean / Organize —- (B+) Service —————— (A+) Presentation———- (A+) Foods —————-— (A+) We gave them 9.8 out of 10 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I’ve been eyeing this spot for a while now and I finally decided to stop by since I was in the area. My only regret is not coming sooner! The server at the register was so sweet and even let me try some of the dishes that they had. Everything was so good and I wanted to order one of everything, but I came in for the lumpia which did not disappoint. I also got the tocilog platter and it was delicious! The runny egg was cooked perfectly on top of the bed of garlic rice. I felt so welcomed here and I will definitely be coming back!

Great little place to buy Filipino food. They also have a tasty menu with tables to eat inside. Large selection of products as compared to other Filipina food stores in this area, I think you will enjoy it. Lots of parking and friendly people.

From here we've had the pork adobo, garlic rice, lumpia, Shanghai beef mini lumpias, and Chicken siopao. I have never had Filipono cuisine before but I found everything was excellent and flavorful. Favorite thing was definitely the Chicken siopao, the chicken meat inside had a great sweet and savory flavor.

Food is a la carte and reasonably priced for amount you get. Home made fresh. Staff is also nice. Salamat will be back again when I visit!
