Pamplona Catedral Hotel | Best places to stay in Pamplona

"On a height just north of the Casco Viejo, this comfortable 4-star hotel combines a convenient central location for sightseeing, only minutes by foot Pamplona’s buzzing heart, the Plaza del Castillo. Occupying a 19th-century convent on a cobbled square, it’s a top boutique option, and one of the best for families. Rooms and suites  are bright and contemporary, with big windows, many offering  spectacular views over the city; west-facing rooms get the lovely sunsets. There’s a small garden at the back of the hotel and a chic all white restaurant in the former chapel, plus valet parking (and  places are limited, so best to reserve one when you book). Bikes are available to hire if you feel like a pedal into the country. " - Dana Facaros

We stayed here for 8 nights and had a lovely experience. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well which we appreciated given our limited Spanish. The valet service included in parking was great as well. The only downside was no on-site laundry, but we found a laundromat only a few minutes away that met our needs perfectly. The location is very convenient to the center of Old Town Pamplona and all of the tourist sites are easy walks. There is also a small grocery store very close by, but be aware that the in-room refrigerator is very small.

Great place to stay in Pamplona, in the heart of the old city. Secure parking - height limit of 3m - so ideal for those travelling in small camper vans. Access to the parking is easy, just behind/below the swimming pool. Excellent service, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Good quality buffet breakfast - however there are many places nearby to eat too. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location is really amazing and unbeatable, with great views around. Everyone working here seemed also really friendly and always greeting. The newly installed pool and the area around it also looks great, feels luxurious and is comfortable. Just way too few Sun beds (only six) and other seats are also limited, so it seems a bit of a fight/struggle to get a seat. The style of the lobby is a little tacky and dated. As for the rooms itself, the asking price of a room is too high. The room is super basic, having to shower in a bathtub without any water pressure and not even a rain shower. The airco cannot be controlled individually and set to 20c. Bed is large though, and the staff does an amazing job at cleaning it daily (literally spotless) There’s no smart tv either which is a big shame. Plenty of things to be improved here.

Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel about a week ago and it was brilliant, beautiful spacious rooms, immaculately clean , fantastic staff who were happy and friendly. We were travelling from France to Malaga and this was a chance stop which we will definitely use again but this time stay a bit longer. Great value too .

A very pleasant stay with a large superior room with views of hills around Pamplona. Balcony however was not large enough to sit on. Big shout out to excellent staff on desk who were friendly and helpful, especially Oskar. Nice restaurant room but food was a bit small portion wise. No outside terrace although I got impression from website it had one. Excellent location 10mins walk from main square.

Great stay. Valet parking (I guess temporarily because the garage is under construction). Very friendly young lady at the reception. Good restaurant (we did not have breakfast), pet friendly,... If there's a remark to give: the 2 young ladies taking care of the restaurant should scan more the tables (look around more) to see if people want attention. More selling would have happened if they'd done so. But they surely were friendly too.

Well located in the old town near the cathedral & main squares. Tricky to approach by car as Google map misplaced it by about 50m & we drove around a few times before getting help. The what3words location is: caked.changes.stews There was free valet parking as the car park is still being completed Friendly & helpful reception. The rooms were large, well equipped & clean. The only negative was the shower head whose output was rather hose like rather than fine jets. High quality breakfast buffet including orange segments, artisan breads & cheeses as well as bacon & eggs.

Based on the photos on their website we were excited to stay at Pamplona Catedral hotel. We paid extra for a superior room. But on arrival the man at the desk assured us we were given an upgrade room. The room was so tiny we had to walk single file around the end of the bed and the wall. I went back to the desk where another female staff member defended the room as “superior”. At checkout no one admitted this was a standard room, but they did comp us the parking fees which were about the price of the upgrade I’d paid. |The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s an easy drive in from the highway and easy to walk into the fun vibrant center of town.

Yelp
Silvia and her staff are friendly and very professional. Booked this hotel last minute and couldn't have been happier when Silvia went above and beyond to make sure my room was on time. Hotel is Pristine and the breakfast buffet is perfect for any and all families. Highly recommended
