Google
A new local favorite! The best Chinese skewer bbq outside of Beijing & Queens, NY. Chinese menu, ask for clarifications. Lots of veggie options. The stinky tofu is incredible! Come early, it gets packed.

Google
This was definitely a great find Went with a friend and the person up front was very helpful and explaining everything on how ordering from there menu. The food was delicious and every bite there was so much flavors. Loved this place and definitely want to go there again to try more off this menu

Google
I gave four stars because I wish they can have great improvements in the future. The beef and lamb skewers are a little bit overlooked this time.

Love this place. Great sauce, proper taste in Szechuan style. Their BBQ is slow charcoal grill, nice flavor and temperature.

Shanshan Wang

Google
The Best Chinese bbq in Austin, must try spicy whole fish and grilled eggplant.

Adventures Of A Traveling Don (The Traveling Don)

Google
Very nice spot for some Chinese BBQ. Relatively inexpensive and good size portions. Looking for a quick lunch this is a great spot.

Google
Mainland Chinese grill, very authentic, culturally and taste. Hope they can set tables outside, if state law allows.

Google
The food is decent - if you're willing to wait over an hour for it. The servers are extremely confused and whatever system they're currently using is extremely inefficient. Prices are quite high, and I would not recommend anyone go here unless they want to wait an hour to receive some lukewarm, but at least somewhat authentic Chinese barbecue.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem in Austin! Restaurant is very small (probably holds maybe 20 or so people) so you will definitely need to wait to get a table, but it's worth the wait! The food is always on point and I've never had anything there I didn't like! My favorites are the jumping fish and the spicy pork ribs!

Yelp
House of Three Gorges is a small Chinese restaurant that serves authentic food, showcasing the fragrant spices of Sichuan cuisine. We got the spicy crispy chicken, basil eggplant, and mongolian beef. Each dish had its strength--the chicken was crispy and had a bit of Sichuan numbing spice, the eggplant had a good chewy texture, and the mongolian beef hit the spot. Owner is very welcoming and nice. Would come here again!

Yelp
Customers can't use the bathroom. They can't wash their hands before eating. They're asked to pay and tip when ordering food, before any food is even served. This is ridiculous. How can you tip before any service is conducted? Avoid eating here if you have any dignity. And definitely, do not tip here!

Yelp
The first thought that struck me when I stepped into this place was how bright and clean it felt; there was no stickiness anywhere. Owner was nice, and the server was quick at cleaning tables up. At our table for two, we ordered Mala Fish Fillet, Dry Sautéed Green Beans, and Stir-fried Shredded Potato. All three dishes were delightful. The green beans were well-seasoned and fresh, offering an almost asparagus-like flavor. The stir-fried potatoes were flavored with just a hint of chili and vinegar, creating a great spicy-sour combination. Because they were stir-fried, the potatoes retained a nice crunch, making them a perfect dish to share over rice instead of being the main carb. We also ordered the Mala Fish, which has a similar base to the Spicy Boiled Beef from the beef section. I ordered the Spicy Boiled Beef to go as well, and it was delightful. The dish features bean sprouts at the bottom, a spicy broth, and the protein on top--it's something I always order at Chinese restaurants when it's available. Comparing the two, the broth for the fish was slightly thicker. While I still prefer the beef, both dishes offered a generous portion and a satisfying spicy kick. Overall, this is a great place for a shared meal!

Yelp
You know the food is good when it's always crowded and there's a long line! The restaurant is a bit small for the demand. There's usually a wait, especially on a weekend evening. The food was worth the wait though! The service is pretty quick. Probably one of the best Asian restaurants in Austin! I would recommend everything we ordered! It was all very delicious and fresh. We ordered the sesame chicken, cumin limb, garlic eggplant, and the Szechuan dry stir fried chicken.

Yelp
For the past 2 years I have been told to try this place and I'm so glad I finally made it. It was around noon on a Sunday and every single table was occupied. "Must be good", we thought. Scanned the QR code and got on the waitlist. About 10 minutes later, they had our table ready. Service was nice enough and efficient. You order and pay at the counter and they bring your food to the table. We ordered the chicken egg rolls, the jumping fish and the green pepper lamb. Everything was fantastic. I honestly can't pick which entree was better. I kept going back and forth snd well, I will have to go back to try other dishes cause I'm impressed.

Yelp
Owners are amazing. I've seen this place grow from not busy to being packed everyday of the week I've been there. You order at the counter and then wait for the food at the table. Their sauces are quite good and the variety is great. I found the Szechuan chicken good but want to try more of their speciality dishes. For the dishes in the pictures I would recommend the home style tofu over the eggplant. I liked the crunch of the vegetables in the home style tofu. The eggplant was still really nice with rice and fed me for leftovers. I do want to come back with many people so I can try a larger variety of dishes

Yelp
This was our second time visiting and I decided to go for the Jumping Fish as it is so highly recommended; absolutely fantastic! I may struggle to order something else next time haha it was so good! Fish was so tender and the broth was surprisingly rich, plus the greens on top , just delicious. The charred green beans were also top notch. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I really like this place. I was trying to decide where to eat on a Sunday morning and wanted it to be tasty for everyone's palate. Plenty of parking but it is a busy center so beware of that. The space inside isn't huge but it isn't really small. There are about 15 tables. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. We orders so much because I wanted to try everything! We had the spicy wanton soup, jumping fish, chicken with broccoli, spring onion and lamb, egg plant, green beans, ma pa tofu, They give you a water carafe and small water cups (more like hot tea cups). Napkins and chopsticks are on the table, but if you need a fork or spoon you need to get it at the other counter that also has the Togo boxes. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Met some friends here for a weekend lunch. Her son recommended this place because he loves the jumping fish dish here and it was his birthday. My friend is Chinese. The food was very good but a bit too salty for my taste. We tried several dishes. They didn't have any tea which is unusual for a Chinese restaurant. We did arrive before the rush so it wasn't crowded but it quickly because quite busy and loud. I'd like to go again and try more items.

Yelp
We absolutely love this restaurant and visit frequently--at least once or twice a month. The Sichuan chicken is nothing short of incredible, packed with flavor that keeps us coming back. The curry lamb is equally outstanding, perfectly spiced and always satisfying. We've also tried the Mapa Tofu and eggplant dishes, which are both fantastic and worth ordering. Hands down, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Austin! The owners are warm and welcoming, and the service is exceptional, with food consistently arriving super fast.

Yelp
I've only been here once and it's already one of my top favorite place in Austin! I've heard different people telling me how great this is and finally got to try this place with my friends during my weekend visit. She is obsessed with this peppercorn jumping fish dish from here. We ordered: 1. Chicken dumpling 7/10 2. Peppercorn jumping fish 11/10 (amazing) 3. Cold appetizer - spicy pork belly 8/10 4. Mapo tofu 9/10 I'm still thinking about how amazing the jumping fish dish is. If you like spicy and seafood, that is a dish you cannot miss. Now I'm obsessed with the dish as well. I really like the cold pork belly appetizer as well. The mapo tofu is delicious but don't expect to have large chunks of pork - the pork pieces are minced to where it can be mistaken as shallot pieces. I love how all the dishes are mala spicy but it isn't so spicy where you can't eat it without mouth burning. This place is quite popular and does not have that many seating. There is a link you have to scan to put yourself on waitlist and they will text you when your seat is available. Expect a 30+ minute wait for an early weekend dinner! The online system will always tell you what the wait time is before you put yourself in line. We saw the wait when up to 2hrs as well. Can't wait to be back again every time I come back to Austin!

Yelp
A friend of mine recommended this place while I am here in Austin, so I decided to check it out. Simple Ambiance few table, we got there exactly at 5pm on a Wednesday, by 6:30 there was a line to order and to be seated! We sat down, looked at the menu and walked up to the counter ordered and paid, they would bring the food to you. We ordered the chicken pot stickers very yummy, and the dipping sauce was out of this world yummy and packed with flavors. We ordered the chicken eggrolls very yummy as well, perfect starter. For our main course we ordered the "Jumping Fish" and boy the description was on point, your pallet just jumps in joy , the fish melts in your mouth, you wouldn't even think it's fish it was so fresh, it's perfect with steam white rice my God it was so good, the perfect spice DRFINATLY RECOMMENDED, I'll be back just for that! We ordered the Mongolian Beef, it was good, the green beans were amazing, and we also ordered the veggies fried rice was amazing as well. Well done, I'll be back on my next trip to try more items. Thank you!

Yelp
Currently the best Chinese food we've had in Austin + Mala beef. Our favorite dish here. Very unique and tasty, though be warned that it can be spicy + Szechuan chicken. Pretty good, not necessarily the best in Austin but certainly competitive. It's pretty hard to get a table, so we always get takeout. Portions and prices are reasonable

Yelp
This is hands down the best Chinese food in Austin. I love that the restaurant has no frills and lets the food do the talking. Most ATX restaurants over-index on the ambience and cocktails but not here. The restaurant is located in a strip mall (which is convenient if you want to walk across and get boba or ice cream for dessert). Once you walk in, you get seated and order at the counter. They have to go containers and utensils all self-service. Food comes out fast and honestly everything we had was delicious. The highlights being the jumping fish, green beans, and the chongqing malaa chicken. Disclaimer: everything we got was very spicy and the malaa spice is no joke! You'll walk out with numb all over but with a smile and full stomach.

Yelp
This is the best Chinese food I've had so far in the Austin area. It's a small restaurant, but the wait time is short. We had the vegetable egg rolls, spicy wonton soup, chicken lo mein, beef and broccoli and general Tsos. Was this far too much food for 3 people? Yes, but it was so worth it. Huge portions, cheap prices. Our personal favorites were the egg rolls and the lo mein. You really can't beat this place!

Yelp
Wow! House of Three Gorges is THE spot for authentic Sichuan cuisine in Austin! If there's a wait, just trust me that the food is well worth it... you can't beat the flavors, large portion sizes, and reasonable prices. As soon as I finished my meal, I was thinking about when I could come back to try more dishes. FAST FACTS: * Parking - Free parking lot available in and around the strip center * Reservations - No... first come, first serve but worth the wait! * Online ordering - Pick up and delivery available through Uber Eats and Doordash * Closed on Mondays and from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm on Tuesday through Sunday * Level of spice is adjustable for most items SERVICE - Once you get seated at a table, you go up to the counter to order. The workers were all very accommodating and did a great job making sure we had water throughout the meal. PRICING - The total was $38.95 after tax but before tip for a dry pot shrimp ($18.99) and a dry pot spicy pork intestines ($16.99). I think the pricing was reasonable for the HUGE portion size and quality of ingredients! DRY POT SHRIMP (9/10) - Massive portion size! The shrimp were cooked perfectly (they come with the tail on) as were the mixed vegetables. I got this with a medium spice level and it was perfect... your lips get that tingly feeling without it being too much. I'd order this again! DRY POT SPICY PORK INTESTINES (9/10) - Just like the shrimp dry pot, the portion size is huge and the medium spice level was perfect for our taste. The pork intestines were tender and packed with flavor! I'd order this again! If you're looking for Sichuan cuisine in Austin, House of Three Gorges is your spot! It's super casual but the food they cook is outstanding. I'd recommend it to others!

Yelp
This was our first experience at this restaurant which was different than what I am used to. (You order and pay for meal first after finding your seat). The food came out hot and fresh and tasted yummy!! Would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
I was looking for dry pot beef and this hit the spot more than place I've been in a large radius. I ordered to go and they asked who was waiting for to go, so avoided the line for those who were being seated. The food was wrapped to stay warm for my hour drive and was ready to eat when I got home.

Val D.

Yelp
The food is quality: the textures are excellent, and the servings are reasonable. They are way too heavy-handed with the peppercorns though. Seriously, they need to chill with some of that peppercorn. I can barely taste the other flavors because the peppercorn overpowers all possible subtlety or complexity. I have a higher than average tolerance for spicy food--I snack on serranos, and I enjoy scorpion pepper hot sauce--but House of Three Gorges' interpretation of "spicy" is simply adding more dried red peppers to the point that the texture feels like there is plastic in the meal. I would prefer they added fresh peppers, or instead infuse the dried peppers rather than dump them onto a dish. The soups are yummy, but noticeably oily too. At least nothing negatively affects the gut, and the food is appropriately satiating.
google avatar

Esther A.

Yelp
Very authentic chinese food here. You can tell by all the extra smells and aromas you get feom the food. Star anise, five spice, numbing spice, delicious!
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
The House of Three Gorges has topped my list for best Sichuan restaurants-- period. For those unfamiliar with Sichuan cuisine, Sichuan food is a sub-category of Chinese food that originates from the Sichuan Province located in Southwestern China. Sichuan cuisine is prolific for its flavorful and spicy peppercorns, which give an intense & numbing sensation to the mouth. In other words, Sichuan cuisine is not for the faint of heart! My highly recommended go-tos: Pork Wonton in Spicy Soup, Jumping Fish, Mapo Tofu, and Sichuan Dry Stir Fried Chicken
google avatar

Yelp
Updating my review to note - if you have a group, please call and make a reservation! I usually save their QR code to get in line early but it's not great for groups of more than 4-5 (since that's one table capacity). We came in with a group of 9 around 7PM and only luckily had to wait 20ish minutes (tried to check in online 40 minutes ahead, never got a system alert). For 9 people, we ordered the following and had leftover lamb hot pot and green beans: 2x A5 Pork Wonton Spicy 1x V3 Mapo Tofu 1x HP2 Braised Lamb Hot Pot 2x C2 Chongqing Mala Chicken 1x F3 Jumping Fish 2x V1 Dry sauteed Green Beans 1x D5 Dry Pot Beef 1x B4 Cumin Beef Still the best Sichuan style food in Austin, no doubt about it. Highly recommend the lamb dishes, Mapo Tofu, jumping fish, and green beans; everything here is great.
google avatar

Preethi N.

Yelp
Food was excellent even though we got takeout. Some of the best mapo tofu I've had. Veg fried rice was impeccable, really loved how many veggies they put in there, flavor was great, the mushrooms were sooo good, dish itself was kind of tangy while still being traditionally salty and delicious. Egg rolls were good, egg drop soup was decent. Truly need to dine-in here asap

Yelp
Looking for authentic Sichuan cuisine in Austin? Look no further than House of Three Gorges! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and spice, a true culinary adventure. The staff was friendly and attentive, making for a delightful dining experience. Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with bold flavors and a warm welcome!

Yelp
Best Chinese food I have had in Austin recently. You can adjust spice level. Initially did the highest for a bit. That showed me. Now have now toned it down a level. Every dish has been good to amazing. NO2 (Chicken Lo Mein) - 4/5 C05: General Tsao's Chicken - 5/5 Chicken in garlic sauce - 5/5 Mongolian beef -5/5 Cumin lamb - 3/5 Have only done takeout so can't speak for service. However there has been numerous occasions when we weren't able to order during hours posted as open.
google avatar

lina s.

Yelp
Ambiance is your casual small dining room. Service is good, as the gentleman who could be the owner is friendly. Food is decent. My husband and son love the cumin Lamb. We all like the jumping fish. It is thinly sliced and very tender. For some people who like firmer texture for their fish, might not like it as much as we do. However, for the Spicy boneless fried chicken, this is by far the worst we have had. They are fried, cut in half to smaller pieces, and refried. The coating is very hard. Chicken is dry. Bamboo house has one of the best of this dish.

Yelp
My friends and I (6 people) came in on a Wednesday evening at around 6:00pm and the place was not super busy so we were seated right away. The restaurant is a bit crowded so if you're looking for a spacious, quiet place this is not it. However, this is a great place to have a family style meal with friends/family! We ordered 6 dishes: Mapo Tofu (with ground pork) - 5/5, this was my favorite dish! The tofu was soft and flavorful. This was a light dish, and great with a side of veggies or rice! Twice Cooked Pork - 3/5, it was average of the five dishes. However, don't skip out on it; it's pretty good! Sesame Chicken - 3/5, it was average, but this dish did save us from the szechuan spice!! Mongolian Beef - 5/5, super flavorful and yummy! You have to get this dish! Crispy & Spicy Pork Intestine - 4/5, I enjoyed the crunch and this was pretty yummy! I would say the flavor is lacking a little bit compared to the other dishes (but it also might have been because my tongue was on fire) Beef and Ox Tongue in Chili Sauce - 3/5, I really enjoyed this dish. I know it's not supposed to be warm, but I would enjoy it more if it was! Overall, I enjoyed the food and will definitely come back!

Brian C.

Yelp
Popular and crowded at dinner on a weekday. Many of the tables around us had beautiful food. My friend ordered a chicken and mushroom dish which was delicious. I had the "flying fish", which was pretty, but almost cold, overcooked, oversalted, and surprisingly oily. I was clearly the loser in the eternal game of ordering, but we will try this place again.
google avatar

Shailey K.

Yelp
Unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. This is the second time I've been here and seems like the quality is going down. We ordered the dried fried string beans, mapo tofu, garlic eggplant, and lo mein. The lo mein was sooo salty we had to tell them because it was unbearable. They took it back, didn't even apologize or address our situation, and came back with a new plate in 5 min. Tasted it again and it was salty. Looks like they added some noodles thinking to blend the taste and that's it. No apology, no check in if it's better, absolutely no customer service at all. We will not be coming back.
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
Probably my favorite place to get authentic Chinese food in Austin. The workers are all super nice and I like that you can just order at the counter whenever you're ready. Literally everything we ate was so good. Honorable mentions to the fish fillet for being so soft. And the green beans for just being so good. But couldn't complain about anything.
google avatar

Minh D.

Yelp
Best Chinese restaurant I have had in Austin yet. Ordered the mapo tofu - they made it with silken tofu and the sauce has a nice kick with that oil and beans paste taste... They are generous with the Szechuan peppers too The lamp soup with cabbage blew me out of water. The broth was delicious and sweet from the cabbage, may be they use a pork bone broth. The cabbage was tender and soaked all the soup. Lamb was not gamey at all, very well seasoned. Would come back again and try their other dishes !
google avatar

Eina D.

Yelp
This place has long been hyped up and I can't believe it's taken me this long to try it out. The jumping fish was by far my favorite. It was tender, tolerably spicy, had cabbage for a crunchy texture, bell pepper for sweetness, and overall a nice presentation. The green beans were crispy and cooked well with good flavor. The cumin lamb had a strong cumin flavor with chili flakes and garlic. It was very pungent with a nice kick to it. It came with some sort of green vegetable with a bitter flavor profile by itself. The only downside was the lamb was drowning in oil/sauce so the flavor got too overwhelming after a few bites. Everything was a big, shareable portion and the prices were reasonable. It is a small space so be prepared to wait for a table after 7pm.
google avatar

Nasiah R.

Yelp
This is a small restaurant that gets packed very fast. The cashier was a bit unfriendly and impatient with me and my friend when we were ordering and asking questions. The customer service/ experience could use improvement. We ordered the hot and sour soup, sichuan dry stir fried chicken, dry sautéed green beans, fish fillet hot pot, and the Mongolian beef. I really liked the hot & sour soup, the chicken, and the green beans. I wasn't blown away by the Mongolian beef. The beef had the texture of low quality meat. And I thought the fish hot pot was pretty decent but not earth shattering. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and would visit again.
google avatar

Delanie K.

Yelp
A casual, order then sit down, unsuspecting restaurant that is packing serious flavors! Definitely order the pork wonton in spicy broth, as well as the Mongolian beef. Those were the crowd favorites, but C1 (dry chicken) was also spectacular along with the pork belly strips. Service was no nonsense, quick and friendly. There was a line of people waiting for tables as we left. House of Three Gorges is located within a plaza of great restaurants, but definitely do not skip it!
google avatar

Irena G.

Yelp
Delicious authentic Szechuan food, the best in the area. The hype is real and the wait is also real. You can join the waitlist beforehand to save some of that pain. My favorite dishes were the jumping fish and cumin lamb. Honestly in this economy, the prices are fair. Docking a star for service. It was hard to find a server to get plates/utensils and clear the table for more food to come. I wouldn't recommend bringing a group larger than 8 since the restaurant is smaller.
google avatar

Nihilaa K.

Yelp
Nice Chinese food in a cozy little place in north Austin . We loved the Sichuan chicken entree and the chicken was rightly spiced and crispy . The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the mapo tofu. I am not sure if mapo tofu is supposed to taste so sour and is meant to leave the sour taste (doesn't go away with drinking water or eating other food) for so long and it lingers for a while that spoiled our tastebuds as we are not a big fan of immensely sour tasting food . This could be authentic and how it is meant to be, but not for us as we don't prefer such intense sour tasting foods. Might have loved it if we did not order the mapo tofu to be honest .
google avatar

Kristine L.

Yelp
My new favorite place in Austin for Szechuan style Chinese food! I came with my parents in-laws, who are very critical about their food. They loved it! You order you food at the counter, and they bring it out in a decent amount of time. They have a few seats inside, but they clean tables fairly quickly. Out if everything we ordered, my favorites were the shrimp dry pot and the general tsos. The dry pot had a nice heat too it and the shrimp cooked very well. The general tsos weren't too bready. They had a nice crisp, sweet flavor. Highly recommend this place for your Chinese food fix!
google avatar

Abida H.

Yelp
Wow! Phenomenal Szechuan Chinese, the best I've had in Austin. I love that it's a small mom & pop restaurant, it's self-serve and the owners are so kind. They come from Southwest China and bring truly authentic flavors from the Three Gorges region. The secrets out so expect a wait during prime times! Their motto Keep Austin Spicy is no joke and while I loved it, the spice levels are adjustable. They don't skimp on portion sizes which I can appreciate! Portion sizes are large and shareable. We ordered the Sichuan chicken, Jumping fish, Mala beef, Cumin lamb, and chicken potstickers. All were delicious and packed with flavor! If I had to pick my favorites, the first two would be tied, the Sichuan chicken was crispy and flavorful and the Jumping fish melt-in-your-mouth buttery. But you can't go wrong! Don't think twice. This spot is everything it's made out to be.

Yelp
This is the restaurant I ALWAYS have to go to with my family and friends. Do yourself a favor and order the jumping fish, it is super tender and packed with flavor and I always take the leftover sauce to-go so I can use it when I cook my fish at home because IT IS THAT GOOD. We also order the green beans, mapo tofu, and braised pork belly. The restaurant is pretty small though so if you have a bigger group you might have to wait.

Nirmala P.

Yelp
The Kung Pao chicken that we ordered was very sweet and not properly cooked. Was difficult to eat it - we had to leave most of it behind. It took 30-35 minutes to get the dishes after placing the order. We do not recommend this place.
google avatar

Sanya G.

Yelp
First time here and it was an experience. It's pretty well renovated inside. Confusing if you order first or seat yourself. There's a sign upon entering but people tend to ignore/block it. Basically use the QR code to put yourself up on their waitlist. Stand in line meanwhile to order and they'll call your name to sit you eventually. Felt like it was overly complex. Food was mid. I ordered the chicken noodles/lo mein but they were incredibly salty. It was a miss from me. But I'm still inclined to come visit here again and try something else.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for Chinese food ! My coworker friend introduced me to this gem! It's a small small location but worth the wait. I've ordered the eggplant in garlic sauce, so flavorful! We've ordered the dry pot- pork belly with veggies (my fav!) the spicy sautéed green beans is a must too!!

Kat C.

Yelp
Food was exceptional and flavors were great! Especially liked the dry pot and mala beef; the flavors were strong and a bit smoky as well. We felt that the fish could have been more spicy, but that might be up to personal preference. Seating can take a while depending on the day, and food took a bit to come out but overall not too long of a wait. Service is pretty quick and you do order at the counter. The place is clean and simple and we had a great meal.
google avatar

Ang F.

Yelp
We took recommendations of a popular Austin food influencer and I can't say that we agree. The biggest critique is that most of the food choices (veggie or meat) are doused in sauce. Too much salt and sugar.

Angelo B.

Yelp
The Orange chicken is the best I've ever had. I don't usually go for those type of dishes but did that day and was really surprised. Lots of authentic and unique offerings as well as the staples which they all do really well. Parking can be a problem and the place inside is tight quarters but the staff is always real polite and efficient. Thank you!

Yelp
A true favorite. Really delicious in a genuinely authentic Szechuan way -- all with great value. This is a rare entry for truly authentic regional Chinese cuisine in Austin. The menu has a significant portion that's spicy (but also has plenty that is not spicy) -- importantly, the various spicy dishes over many visits are prepared in a manner that's very well-balanced. A must is the JUMPING FISH... and so many other favorites for the menu from the Braised Pork Belly (sweet), String Beans (savory), and Boiled Beef (hot). The space is small, it can get busy during peak days and times -- the overall service format can be a little confusing and take some getting used to and reading the room (the seating method varies on busy'ness and you order and pay first at the counter at the very back) -- but the gentleman that's been at the counter on every visit is very friendly and accommodating, and generally speaking, the food arrives quickly and with generous portion sizes relative to price.
google avatar

Hong L.

Yelp
Great place to get some Sichuan food, various spicy dishes to choose from. You definitely feel the spices if you order these dishes. My favorite so far is the cumin beef and mapo tofu. Interior is on the smaller size but spacious enough with a good amount of seating and simple design. There can be a wait during peak hours so best to come outside of dinner rushes.
