Pan Pacific Seattle

"How did it strike you on arrival?Zen design and a South Lake Union location—far enough from downtown to avoid the mayhem, still close to tons of great restaurants and cultural hotspots—make this lovely hotel an appealing option for travelers seeking a combination of luxury and convenience. Plus it’s the only Pan Pacific in the United States—and this extremely classy hotel should definitely be on your must-stay list. What’s the crowd like?Familiar with Pan Pacific’s detailed and understated approach, crisply dressed business travelers from East Asia congregate in the lobby and bar. The good stuff: Tell us what we need to know about the rooms. You'll find exquisitely soft Egyptian-linen sheets, cavernous soaking tubs and Villeroy & Boch bathroom figures, Herman Miller desk chairs and breathtaking views of the Space Needle and Lake Union. How about the little details? Any of that worth a mentionMinibars stocked with champagne, whiskey and vodka miniatures, and bottles of Coke and Bubble Up make you want to prop yourself atop some fluffy pillows and stay here all day. Room service: Worth it?Staff will bring tasty dishes—a hearty salmon burger on a brioche bun, a tenderloin steak with carrot puree—to your door 24 hours a day at the Pan Pacific. Then again, you can always pop next door to Tutta Bella, one of Seattle’s top spots for bubble-crusted Neapolitan-style pizza, or hit the wine section and abundant hot-food bars at a ground-level Whole Foods. What should we note about the staff?Zebrawood vanities and glass walls show every fingerprint—the Pan Pacific’s meticulous cleaning crew deserves fat tips for their polishing prowess. Bottom line: Why will we love staying here? The only downside to a stay at the Pan Pacific Seattle is that it will ruin you for less refined hotels. From the lovely limestone fireplace in the lobby to the gold soap trays on the bathroom vanities, details matter here—and they add up to a seamless stay that leaves guests refreshed and satisfied." - Jessica Voelker

Google
I came to seattle after finding this hotel had special bathtubs and views of the space needle. I was not disappointed one bit. The room was so very nice and the staff made the trip extra memorable. I seriously do not want to check out and will be coming back here every chance I get. I was very nervous to book with the construction reviews going on, and yes, they are remodeling the front of the hotel so it is not visually appealing on the way in BUT I haven't been able to hear any construction since checking into my room and we are well into the next morning. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for making my birthday stay here one to remember.

Google
We love Denny Park Hotel (formerly Pan Pacific) and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Seattle! My parents stay here whenever they visit us for special events, and the service has always been outstanding. The staff go above and beyond to make their stay memorable—whether it’s a handwritten note wishing them a happy birthday or anniversary or warmly acknowledging the occasion at check-in. Every team member is incredibly welcoming, from the front desk (special shoutout to Rita!) to the valet. The recent renovation has made the rooms even more beautiful and comfortable, with thoughtful design touches that enhance the stay. It’s rare to find a hotel that consistently delivers both exceptional service and a luxurious experience, but Denny Park Hotel does just that. If you're looking for a place that truly cares about its guests, this is it!

Google
Wow. This place takes the cake. They were NOT forthright on their website. Had I known that I'd pay over $200 a night to be directly next to construction, I'd have walked away without question. They make it seem like it's no big deal. But it's loud and miserable. Like, we couldn't just go back to our room and chill midday because it was constant noise against our wall from morning to evening. To top it off, they have a mini fridge that's totally pointless if you're sober. It's full of mostly alcohol and you can't put any of your own drinks in there, so I was just drinking lukewarm beverages the whole time. The location is good; the parking situation is odd and not well explained by them, which is whatever. All-in-all, I feel like I could've had a better experience anywhere else. I've never been at a hotel that had constant construction and I'm not sure why they didn't just go floor by floor and just not rent rooms adjacent to construction. It's very dumb. I would NOT come back here and would NOT recommend this place to anybody.

Google
While the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, the hotel is undergoing a heavy renovation on 5 floors and the lobby with drilling and banging all day non-stop starting as early as 7:17am There is no mention of the renovation underway anywhere on the booking site , so that was a big mistake to book here. the hotel main and only entrance as it is now is on the photo On a side note, - they don't have buffet breakfast as they advertise - their gym appears to be the one of a nearby condo across the street, heavily used by the condo owners and without wifi to use your device while exercising

Google
Had a very pleasant stay! Rooms were very clean, newly renovated and modern! But they have some renovations still occurring so if you plan on staying I'd suggest having your room be on the higher up floors since it looked like the lobby floor was mostly affected. But I will absolutely stay again ❤️ Staff very friendly and welcoming

Google
I simply feel robbed. When I arrived, the hotel was completely under construction: the reception was set up in a hallway, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and I received neither the room upgrade nor the bottle of wine that were included in my reservation. I had to spend a significant amount on personal mobile data with my phone provider. The bar and restaurant were closed, and there was no room service. In short, there were no services at all. And yet, I paid the rate of a 4/5-star hotel — $300 per night. While the on-site staff were understanding, management refused any form of compensation after my departure (apart from a little amenity fee that they did not invoice, which is nothing). I truly don’t understand how customers can be treated this way.

Google
I suspect many of the positive reviews are from when this was the great Pan Pacific Hotel. How things have changed! Hopefully the new owners bring the old experience back once construction is completed. Speaking of the construction, don't stay here until it's done. And be sure to ask, because we weren't informed when we booked. The main entrance and lobby are closed, and the small, narrow side entrance and single operating elevator are shared with the construction crew. Construction noise and odors permeated the building during our stay, even on Saturday. Unfortunately, customer service didn't step up to compensate for the diminished experience. They seemed as frustrated as we were. We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms on the 11th floor, and it was very nicely renovated. However, these are NOT peaceful rooms. You hear every bit of the outside world - the passing trucks, frequent sirens, everything (even on the 11th floor). And if the guests in the adjacent room are fighting around the clock, like they were during our stay, you'll hear every foul word. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and despite their assurances it would be ready momentarily, we waiting restlessly in an empty lounge for nearly two hours. The staff did nothing to ease our wait - no offers of water, snacks, no updates on how much longer. Finally, we had no wifi signal in our room; hopefully this is just temporary due to construction. And Verizon service here is weak. We really hope this formerly great hotel returns to its much better past.

Google
They fail to tell you the hotel is under construction. It's very loud and there's no formal entry, dining service, gym. The entry is a makeshift construction alley, the dining room is four small tables, broken up by more construction tarps/walls, and the gym isnt even in the building. The location is very central to all seattle excursions, but its not worth the mess. Our room was okay, but our bathtub drain didn't plug (which is the only reason we got the room) and they did not refill our body wash, and the sheets had tears in them. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but overall the its a mess as this hotel is "figuring out its brand."

Yelp
What a great experience to begin our Pacific Northwest adventure! The room was appointed well and very comfortable. From the staff that were at the front door to greet us to the front desk personnel there was an abundance of smiles and positive vibes! All were quick to answer "first-timers" questions and provide a very welcoming atmosphere. We would highly recommend!

Yelp
Great service, we were treated very well! Lovely hotel, clean, quiet, close to lots of neighborhoods, eateries, etc.

Yelp
I leave this review with mixed emotions. The hotel tried to make things right however, this is a mismanagement issue so I am positive that after sitting in the lobby and listening to phone calls and other complaints we are not the only customers that are effected by the management issues. We were a party of 4 and we needed to be in one room for medical issues. The room we booked was advertised for 4 people. There was no way that the room could sleep 4 people. We had also asked for extra bedding and pillows; both 2 months ahead of time, at the time of check in and again when we got to the room and found they were not in the room. One of us had to sleep on the floor on the clothes from our suitcase the first night. When I went to the front desk the next morning I was told they had a rough night. I left my phone number at the front desk for the gm to call me as he wasn't going to be in for a couple of hours. I didn't hear from anyone until 230 pm after I received a text from housekeeping hoping I was enjoying my stay and I told them I had not been. Only then did I get a call and did thing begin to get straightened out. One person was moved into another roo., which indo appreciate but doesn't really solve the issue of us needing to be in the room together for the medical issues. I could have booked two rooms to begin with. A rollaway was brought in which wad like sleeping on chicken wire covered in a sheet. If a room says it sleeps 4, it should sleep 4. They told me their intention was that it actually sleeps two adults and 2 toddlers. They literally saw us check in. I made the reservation for 4 adults and paid for 4 adults. I paid extra for 4 adults. The issue was the way it was handled. The gentleman at the counter kept telling people over and over he had a rough night and he was there alone. That isn't my issue or anyone else's issue. We had someone sleep on their clothes on the floor because Bedding couldn't be brought up because he didn't have time to call someone to bring Bedding up. (This was at around midnight after 10 hours of travel for us).. The drapes in the room were so disgusting we couldn't even close them they were too gross to look at. We were told by the front desk that the hotel is older and will be going through a renovation soon. They had huge spots like someone threw up all over them. We left them open the three days we were there day and night. The hotel is in a great area though. Many places are walkable. World market is right downstairs and there was a convenient pizza place next door. PIKE market is within walking distance as well. The hotel restaurant is expensive and slow but the food was good.

Yelp
The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. The warmth that we received from them really sets this Seattle hotel apart from the rest. Stayed for only one night as a staycation but I would gladly come back for the next special occasion! The rooms were clean and had a romantic vibe. We didn't even need to use the valet as street parking was easy to find close by.

Aish N.

Yelp
The vallet was a little disorganized and the cleaning people are actually the worst I've ever experienced. They leave at 1 or 2 pm so if you decide to sleep in a little just know your rooms won't be clean. No one told me I get free glass of wine between 6 and 7 pm. It felt like the customer service was a little unprofessional ( people seemed like the didn't like their job lol) also the robes were nasty af and smelled

Yelp
*Rounding up from 4.5 to 5* We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! This hotel was so far beyond any we have stayed in for recent travels that we were just blown away! Let's start with THE ROOM: We had what I believe was the king suite. It included a balcony, living/dining room, bedroom, guest bath (with shower), and master bathroom. The space was beyond what we needed but honestly, had we stayed longer it would have been amazing! The master bathroom had a very deep tub which we definitely used! It's pretty deep for a single person tub and very enjoyable. There were bath salts and a bath tub tray included, as well as very lush, soft robes! The toilet was even seperated with a privacy glass door which was a rare feature for hotels but much appreciated! The bedroom included a desk, closet, tv, and the keurig coffee. We did have to request quite a few pods to be brought since we're big morning coffee drinks before we start our day. That was a bit inconvinient but overall not a big deal. The master bedroom also had blackout curtains and we personally experienced no noise that would disturb our sleep unlike some of the other Yelpers (though we were on the 8th floor). The living and dining room were extremly spacious! While the couch seemed a bit small for the big area, it was very comfortable! The mini fridge was stocked with a lot of options which was great, but almost too much as we had to squeeze in our personal chilled items by rearranging everything to fit. The dining table was huge and would be great if we were visiting with local friends but unfortunately just didn't have the time for. There were also black out curtains and not any noticeable street noise in this room either. We did use the patio everyday and it was a great feature! We loved starting our day enjoying the perfect morning weather out there. PARKING: Being our first time to Seattle, we had a hard time finding the doors to the hotel as well as the parking lot. Ultimately we decided to valet the entire time which was pricey but we had a great experience with the valet attendents who were very responsive and always had our car up front and ready to go! STAFF: Overall the staff were extremely nice and professional, able to give us information easily, and very responsive when we had requests. We also had no problem getting a late checkout on our last day. FOOD: We only ate at the hotel resturant once during our trip, for breakfast. It was convinient but for the price, there were a lot better options in town to go eat. Because of this we decided not to eat there again during our stay. There was also a selection of snacks as well as fresh coffee (in the morning) and water at the entrance for guests. This was very appreciated ! COST: Overall it was quite pricey and somehow we managed to go over the budget we had set for it (and we were planning on splurging a bit). That being said, our experience was great so the price was worth it in the end. The price is why I initally considered a lower rating however. Ultimately we had a maginificent stay and will definitely be returning!

Yelp
I was greeted at the door. The hotel staff were exceptional, from the front desk to the restaurant inside the hotel. Room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was great, everyone was helpful and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend both.

Yelp
Although I have never stayed there, I frequently go to the bar area. They have the most delicious hamburgers and French fries you wouldn't believe the last time I had anything like that was in New Orleans. They are very kind and courteous to me and help me get a taxi to go home this hotel is centrally located and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Seattle

Yelp
Even before my first step on the property I was experiencing outstanding customer service. I called to check if an early check-in was possible given the terrible heat and the need for stable Wi-Fi to take virtual meetings. Ernest at the front desk handled my query with notable courtesy that I wanted to know who he was. Highly recommend you check if an upgrade is possible bc I discovered it was a very reasonable $35 for a king bed room. The upgraded room was well worth it (see photos)! The valet parking was $59, but given the neighborhood/the area and the absolute shortage of parking, it was my best option especially since they have in and out privileges. (The Whole Foods nearby has overnight parking for $46 but they do not have in and out privileges.) When I arrived, traffic delays meant I was already on my work calls...and had to apologize silently to the valet David as I handed off keys. David was incredibly kind, played along, and welcomed me silently and graciously, even helped me empty my hands of clutter, and made sure my bag and I were able to move into the lobby smoothly with no further worry about my car. It was great to meet Ernest in person. He intuited who I was, kindly understood that I was on a work call, made sure I saw the room number as he handed off my key card and showed me where the all important Wi-Fi password was noted. The level of professional courtesy was perfection. Also perfection was the view from my room: urban perfection. I had to grab my camera to take many photos...and I live in this city. The afternoon light flooding into the room, the placement of the bed, the wall of windows that framed my desk, the bathroom with the double doors that granted access to the bedroom view from the bath, all warrant appreciation. Did I mention that I could see the Space Needle against backdrop of the mountains? Especially incredible at sunset. I had to call down and spoke with Becky, she, and later Guest Services manager, Tory, were instrumental in ensuring that our stay experience during this day was simply exceptional. The hotel stocks prepackaged ice for safety. The bathroom amenities have a fresh, beautiful scent (not cloying at all), the bathtub is deep enough for the best kind of long soak, and there is a comfortable sitting/reading chair with great light. When it was time to go out to dinner we had the option of Tutte Bella, as well as the hotel restaurant which had a lovely outdoor patio, and Whole Foods. We very conveniently picked up pizza and snacks and then ate in the room where my younger goddaughter who was visiting enjoyed the selection of movies available for children. Hands-down the nicest hotel experience in downtown Seattle. I will absolutely look for a reason to stay again.

Yelp
Hello, I attended my best friend's wedding yesterday. I just want to say everyone I met and spoke to deserves a raise. Your staff is amazing, generous, humble, and welcoming from the valet people to the front desk. I don't remember the two front desk people who check in guests, but they are so sweet and welcoming. They are very patience, kind, and informative. I especially appreciate John. He made my evening, like a white knight would help save a damsel in distress. He is quite the gentleman. Thank you, David, for your kindness and servant heart. I was so impressed This is why I love my homestate. You made us proud from my perspective. Also, inside (i didn't go inside a room, since I'm a Washingtonian, haha), the interior is beautiful and not stuffy. Thank you, Pan Pacific Seattle.

Yelp
I've been visiting Pan Pacific a few times a year the last few years and I've loved each and everything about my stays. The location in the South Lake Union District is perfect for the things I need to do when visiting downtown Seattle. I love the staff! Everyone is so calm and kind, it kicks things off for my wind downs perfectly. Management jumps in to assist staff if they are busy helping other customers. On several occasions I e had a manager take my valet or jump in as bell hop so I do t have to wait... I DONT HAVE TO WAIT!!! Because I love it so much, I almost didn't want to post a review so that I can keep it secret lol, but they treat me so well and the experience is always great, I want to give them their props!! See you all again soon!

Yelp
I stayed here for a girls weekend and will never be back. With so many other beautiful, convenient locations, do not waste your time here. 1st, Parking , you have the option to self park which is a little less cost but what they don't tell you when they give you this option, that you will receive a parking ticket every night you park there and they have no association with self park so they can't help, it took me talking to 3 different people to get a actual number to call to resolve the tickets. Also no daily housekeeping, which has been super common lately. However when I asked them to freshen up my room all they did was leave supply refreshments at random locations in the room. See in pics. They didn't even make up the beds. As a 4 diamond hotel this is unacceptable.

Yelp
This is written after staying at the hotel 2 times, both of which I was treated very well after having issues--ranging from being picked up at Nordstrom in a hotel car and another after being driven to a friend's home by a taxi the hotel called for me. The second time I visited the hotel, I had the opportunity to meet the general manager, who I recall was kind and cordial and listened to me as I described the superb service I received after having the aforementioned snafus. Mr. Brandenberg was the gentleman's name as I recall. Finally if you stay here, get the room with the view of the Space Needle. It is spectacular.

Yelp
This review is long overdue and such a fun memory to think about when writing it. I spent weeks looking for a romantic getaway, ballin on a budget style I am telling you. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, his new job, and both of our birthdays and Seattle is one of our favorite hearts on the PNW places to explore and there is always so much to do. I had some major requirements when picking our city stay. I needed a balcony overlooking the city lights, a full bath tub and all the views. These guys nailed it on the head in searching online. So we booked it and got super excited. We chose dinner that was within walking distance and that was even better. We arrived and our concierge Andy greeted us and was absolutely awesome. He took the coolest Instagram boomerang for me and I am still stoked. The value for the money was great. There were no breakfast options due to COVID but that just gave us more opportunity to explore Seattle. The VIEWS, when I say the views it was some of the best. I am into camping in the backcountry, and raising chickens and definitely am not very fancy, but when I get in a boujee mood, there is no telling what I will do. And with that decision we end up on a high floor with that perfect balcony and that huge bathtub overlooking the city. FANCAY. The bath amenities were great, the minibar was great. I slept amazing and I loved this place. I signed up for rewards because why not! SOOOO ready to go back. Oh and if you are looking for something to do...Lime scootering downtown Seattle around midnight at Pike's Place is breathtaking. I have never seen this city so quiet and it was so worth it.

Yelp
Great hotel I got on the last minute. Staff were polite & provided excellent customer service. Room spacious & bed was comfy. Tub was excellent after a day of traveling. Within walking distance from the Seattle Center. Mini-bar in the room, but no Pepsi products. Drinks only, no snacks. My only complaint-dirty window which made the city view a bummer. Robes were itchy & scratchy on the skin. Would I stay here again? Yes, everyone deserves a second chance

Michelle F.

Yelp
The hospitality here is not what you'd expect for a "nicer" hotel in Seattle. The rooms are okay, our sheets weren't really made, just thrown over our bed. We did have a wonderful housekeeper come the following day and do a great job and made our bed nicely and was very kind. Also Brian in the restaurant was wonderful. Other than those two, we didn't have a good hospitality experience, I mean down right rude at times. View was nice from the room.

Sherry F.

Yelp
Stayed for 2 nights at the end of August. Rooms really need some touch-up. I was checked in the room that was not yet 100% clean. Not sure how can that happen in a hotel like Pan Pacific. Other than that it is an ok hotel for the price they charge.

Yelp
Rounding up from a 3.5 stars. I was really excited to stay here for a vacation to Seattle. There were definitely so strengths and areas for growth: Positives +++: -Service was spot on. When checking in, the staff offered a warm towel for us. The lobby was sparkling clean and smelled amazing. Workers opened the door every time we walked in. In the night time, they would have drinking water, sometime sweets set up for our helping. Staff was super responsive to our needs (noted below). We were treated very well at this hotel. -Free rides and pick ups in hotel's private car within a two mile radius of the hotel. Super convenient because all Seattle sights were within the radius. Great alternative to Uber and Lyft -Great walking distance to all the Seattle landmarks -Comfortable beds and rooms. Slippers provided. Sliding doors that can open from bathtub to room -Filtered water in glass bottles in room, replaced every day. -Housekeeping came around twice. On our last day, the housekeeper had a bag of Seattle chocolates and offered us many! Areas for growth: -Our first night, we were on the third floor and it was super noisy. It might be an issue with the design of the hotel, but you could hear every honk, siren, and car zooming by. It's not ideal when you're trying to sleep. We called the front desk at 7am with our concerns and they upgraded us to the 8th floor with a beautiful view of the Space Needle. My sheets however had stains. I was too tired that night and just requested that my sheets be changed the next day when room service came -Even on the 8th floor, you could still hear the fire truck go by faintly. So I really think it's an issue with the building design. This was definitely a memorable hotel for the better. I would consider staying here again in the future

Yelp
Great, great staff and service. The front desk staff is extremely professional and considerate. The agents know guests by name and are always ready to extend themselves to satisfy any guest request. The front hall and lobby marble gleams and smells wonderful. Rooms are well-appointed and the location can't be beaten. Whole Foods is right downstairs. The hotel is walking distance to Google, Amazon, famous Seattle landmarks, and a lot of great food options. The negatives include the extremely expensive parking and the amount of street noise,no matter which room you stay in. It almost sounds like you are sleeping on the street level as you can hear all the street traffic pretty much 18 hours a day. Bring earplugs and you will benefit from this beautiful hotel at a Seattle-affordable price.

Yelp
The service is OUTSTANDING! You want to stay at this hotel. I reserved a one night stay on hotels.com for my husband's birthday since we had dinner reservations at the Butcher's Table, located across the street from the hotel. I let the hotel staff know we're celebrating and they gave us a top floor, corner room with a view of the city and the space needle. Spectacular. I stopped by the hotel to drop off roses and my husband's overnight bag, then I left to pick him up from work. From there we went straight to dinner. When we returned to Pan Pacific, we opted for a night cap and a midnight snack so we wandered into the hotel bar. The drinks were perfect. The bartender, Yovka, even remembered us from a visit several months ago. And not for the wrong reasons, LOL. When we got back to our room, the team had left us a decorated plate with a trio of mini cakes in chocolate, lemon meringue, and almond cheesecake. In addition, they left him a birthday card and a chilled bottle of champagne. My husband felt catered to. The smile on his face was priceless. We felt so cared for here. The room was beautifully appointed, with comfortable robes and slippers, luxurious bedding, and wonderfully smelling bath products. It also offers an oversized soaking tub for two that opens to the bedroom and a separate shower. This is one of the best bathrooms you'll find around town. And to top it all, there was that gorgeous view. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
We already know how much I love the Ritz Carlton. The problem is they aren't located everywhere I go so I am left to find suitable alternatives. Enter the Pan Pacific. The staff are professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. All the things I expect for a smooth visit. The real mark of great customer service? When things go wrong. They can be a detriment to continued patronage or affirm your trust and confidence in a brand. When things go wrong as they sometimes do... watch carefully how issues are resolved. Be mindful how fast or slow it takes to come to a suitable resolution. Note the transition of power. Often times issues leave the guest feeling powerless. Note if you felt the power transition back to you with renewed confidence in your choice? I am well known for my keen eye for exemplary service. I notice the one staff member giving 10 when everyone else skates by with a 4. Where I lay my head at night is important to me. I go out of my way for fuss-free, smooth experiences. I travel in a way that provides the creature comforts and amenities I have at home, at work, and in my car. I had a couple of issues during my last stay. 1. Construction jarred me awake before 8 AM. I stay out late at night when I am traveling so waking up for breakfast in bed at a leisurely 10 or 11 am is common for me. Being startled awake was not amazing. It was terrible. No one should have to take anxiety meds with their heart racing like a bomb went off in their face. Hotel staff alerted manager who promptly moved me to another room. I appreciate that expeditious solution to what could have been a deal breaker for me (I need my sleep. I do not mess around with my need for rest) 2. I lost a personal item. Manager spoke with staff to let them know I am missing said item. While it didn't turn up - I appreciated the seriousness and immediate action taken to try to locate it. The bar is decent. The restaurant downstairs where the bar is has some hits and misses. I love the room service and when Carlos brings my breakfast to me. His professional yet friendly (but not overly so) style reminds me of the service I receive at the Ritz Carlton. Areas to improve: Valet. There is one superstar here and that is the older Asian gentleman. Everyone else seems annoyed when I come and go. If you don't want to be helpful to guests don't work in the front. Even worse? Some creep dragged a wet, dirty water hose across my shoes so he could water some plants. Thanks for ruining my shoes. Classy. He should be removed from guest access. Aside from the not so great bookend impressions all businesses strive to offer perfection - where this hotel fails - I am happy with my many stays here and will probably continue. There's room to improve and I'd love to see the Pan Pacific Seattle elevate to that coveted level. Cheers!

Yelp
Decent rooms, however, the hydro-pool amenity does not work/is shut down. That was a disappointment.

Yelp
3/30/2017 First let me say that out of all the bad reviews this one will be the most eye opening you will read. I have stayed at this hotel not once but twice. I'm actually in my room still at the Pan Pacific Seattle writing this review on my second stay. My first stay was back in September of last year. Booked on hotels tonight at a random hotel close to where my friend lives in Seattle. Room was paid through the hotels tonight ap but I went downstairs the next day to extend my stay by 2-3 days because I actually liked the hotel. This is where the hotel screwed up royally. I paid them in cash because I just happened to have that much cash in my wallet and it would save me trip to the bank. I told them to keep the same cc on file. I then left the hotel to go buy a toothbrush I forgot to pack. When I came back I was essentially LOCKED OUT of my room, the key did not work at all. When I went downstairs to get a new key I was "escorted" into this small dank office behind the desk where I was told "the police are on their way regarding the 'counterfeit' bills I gave them". I had just cashed a check the day before and for whatever reason the bills the bank gave me were vintage and didn't have the newer security features on them. While I was detained in a tiny room I called my bank who not only verified the money was in fact real but also the amount of money in my checking account at the time. I was told I couldn't leave until the police got there to take the money to the bank and verify its authenticity. After several phone calls it became very apparent to everyone in that room I was being held in that I was NOT a criminal and I was allowed to leave due to the fact that I had someone physically waiting on me in their lobby for an appointment I had scheduled. I was then told that the hotel could "not accept any more cash" from me, even though they confirmed that the money was in fact real. They also LIED about "having the police come take the money to a bank to verify".....they already called the police and had them come out while I was out looking for my toothbrush at a drugstore almost a mile away (why they didn't send me to the Whole Foods directly downstairs I do not know). The extremely shady thing that caused my lawyer to have to get involved is when my final bill was slipped under my door and my money was no where to be found on it, as if I never gave them $1300 in cash. By the time it was all said and done they actually attempted to have me sign a non disclosure agreement/release of liability because they knew how bad they messed up. The manager, Jennifer, told me both in person and over the phone multiple times that if I come back to Seattle please let this hotel give me a better stay on my next visit. I come to Seattle every two months so on the next trip I called her multiple times and left messages only to never receive a phone call back. Then I emailed her and she emailed me back stating that they had no availability, which they actually did as I verified this through their website and multiple other hotel sites an and aps. Since this is the closest hotel to where I conduct business in Seattle I idiotically booked another stay here for this trip, which happens to be my birthday. I booked again on hotels tonight for a one night stay. Upon arriving at the hotel they claimed they "couldn't find" my reservation. When I went to pull it up I saw an email from hotels tonight stating that the hotel contacted them and CANCELED my reservation due to a "previous incident" at the hotel. I'm no rocket scientist or anything, but calling the police to arrest your hotel guests at 7am in the morning for a crime that they didn't commit is a previous incident that was not warranted nor my fault. I have to say that it is humorous that they actually put me on a "black list" of guests due to their own ridiculous mistakes. This hotel has the most incompetent unprofessional snotty unapologetic staff I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I come from an upper middle class to wealthy family and am well grounded. I have stayed in hotels that are $5k a night and motels that are $30 a night and can say that without a doubt I would have had a better stay if I squatted on the SEATAC airport runway with an air mattress. The noise from construction is a constant reminder not to stay here again. If anyone would like to listen to the 30+ minute conversation my attorney asked me to record with Jennifer the manager's permission where she openly admitted that they wrongly accused me of a crime and mistreated me as their hotel guest, it will be on youtube shortly with subtitles. The situation was so bad that one of the hotel staff actually remembered me and commented on how messed up it was how I was treated last time and this time again. I highly doubt any manager is going to comment on this review let alone apologize for the once again ridiculous behavior of their front desk staff and management

Yelp
VALET GAVE MY CAR TO AN INTOXICATED BACKSEAT PASSENGER WITHOUT THE CLAIM TICKET. Just this past Saturday December 7th, at approx 4:30am, my 2018 Camry was handed over to A woman that had been one of the passengers in the backseat of my car. IT WAS THAT SIMPLE.... NO CLAIM TICKET....NO ID... NO PHONE CALL...NO PROOF that she had permission to use or take my car. I stayed with a VIP guest at this location & after dinner , we went back to the hotel. He drove, I was in the passenger seat, & we had to passengers in backseat, another man & woman. They gave him the blue claim ticket, which he handed to me & told me to put in my purse. They attached another blue valet ticket to my car keys which indicated his first & last name & the valet guy took my keys & went to park my car. Upon our checking out Saturday morning as he headed to the airport, he reminded me that he had given me the valet claim ticket & to have them bring up my car. Initially, I was not able to locate the claim ticket but they realized whom I was with & went to get my car. After about 5 minutes, they were unable to locate my car. They asked if I was sure it was there & that was quite confusing because, why wouldn't it be? As i stood outside with the 2 valet guys working, they escorted me to the box where the car keys are kept & asked if i recognized my keychain or keys, I didn't see my keys in the box. Not sure on the gentlemans name, but another young man working in a gray suit began to inquire on what was going on & I could see the urgency on his face as we all seemed confused on where my car was. The guy in the gray suit went into the parking garage in the building and filmed a short video of the cars THAT THEY HAD INSIDE, NONE WERE MINE. I didn't know if someone was out joy riding my car & if I needed to call the police or if somehow the previous valet guy moved my car somewhere else. Their VIP guest I stayed with, now gone& headed to the airport & unaware I'm stuck at his hotel that has lost my damn car. After about 30 minutes, another gentleman named CJ came to me and mentioned they watched security footage of a woman in orange walk up to the valet & request my car, valet pulled it up, she was given my keys, then left with my car. This woman was a PASSENGER in the back seat of my vehicle. Additionally, she was highly intoxicated as well & did not have my claim ticket but was given access to my car. I attempted to call her on the phone number she had given me but she did not answer. Still clueless about my cars whereabouts, I decided to call a LYFT home WHICH I PAID FOR AS WELL which cost me $40. They did not offer to help me get home or ask me if I needed assistance getting home. I caught a Lyft home to locate a 2nd set of keys to my car just in case I was able to locate it. I found my car about 2 hours later. This is insanity! This woman could have killed herself or someone else driving drunk and under the influence. She could have gotten pulled over for DUI and she has NO RECOLLECTION of how she was able to leave this hotel and drive anywhere .CJ the guest experience manager gave me his card and apologies & claims he filed an incident report but this is still a shocking situation to have occurred. They did not comp me for my Lyft ride, & have not offered to. Visit at your own risk

Yelp
I had a suite here for a bachelor party recently. The suite was ok, a bit dim but overall not bad. The staff where a mix of happy and helpful during the day then the overnight staff where grumpy and very unhelpful. I had to run out about 4 am and the front desk person took my valet slip and told me to park on the street when I get back. The one star is really due to after the stay. When I tried to check out they basically double charged me. They had put a 425$ hold on my card(for one night wth) then tried to charge the full amount of $475. They gave me some excuse that there was a billing issue that day. Apparently i'm not the only one they did this too. On top of that when I looked the next day I had been charged $52 for parking, which according to my receipt was part of the $475. I called to find out what was going on and the lady who answered from the front desk said she needed to research and get back to me. That was 24 hours ago. Now I still have the $52 charge and I see another pending charge of $52 plus the hold for $425 and the charge for $475 on my card. Its been 5 days since check out and this hotel is holding 1004$ on my card hostage and apparently does not care. I can honestly say I wont be back!

Yelp
This hotel was wonderful. It was definitely luxurious and the staff worked hard to make sure everything was perfect. I loved the bed and the linens, and the bath towels were the nicest and fluffiest towels of anywhere I've ever stayed. I think the coolest thing about this room was the spacious bathroom. It was almost as big as my room, with a large soaking tub, big glass shower and generous vanity. The neatest thing was the pocket door that opened up the bathroom to the bedroom behind the tub. That not only meant I could see and/or hear the TV if I wanted to, but it also made the room feel so much larger. Room service was wonderful, and every single staffer I encountered was wonderful, from the doormen to the front desk and housekeeping. I would absolutely love to get to stay here again sometime.

Yelp
It's all about the details. Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. First off, I arrived early and they were able to accommodate an early check in on a Friday. Next, received recommendations on the fastest and cheapest way to the airport. Then, I was educated on the different city tour options such as the hop on-hop off or 3 hour bus tour around the city, and more. We opted to do our own sightseeing with the help of the map they provided. The room had water (free and with refills), Keurig coffee maker, multiple charging stations, soak in tub, slippers and robes. I simply love the soap! The view that we had wasn't bad either. The best part is the free car service within the 2 mile radius. Will definitely book again

Yelp
Love that this hotel is around the corner from Whole Foods. The location is fantastic and close to lots of tourist attractions. The room was lovely and super comfortable, the lounge is especially cozy with a pretty fireplace. The concierge were very kind and informative. I love the courtesy car and there was also a courtesy ride to the Cruise ship.

Yelp
Pros: * Conveniently located by Whole Foods * Complimentary bomb gym but you have to cross the parking lot to access * Complimentary filtered still or sparkling water upon request * Rooms are spacious * Service reminds me of the Park Hyatt Tokyo, receptionists remember your name and hand deliver items quickly! Cons: * Rooms feel dated, have a bit of a musty smell

Yelp
1st time in Seattle and chose this hotel based on the positive reviews here and on Expedia. The hotel is clean and the lobby is lovely and cool. Staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were HUGE and the deep soak tub was so perfect after a long day exploring the city. It was awesome that Whole Foods was just downstairs. A great location, away from the touristy spots. Next time we will definitely request the Space Needle view room. And to the housekeeper who tucked my son's beloved stuffy in bed when we arrived back, you rock. So sweet. :) One thing that we didn't love was the bed. Way too hard for our taste. I mentioned it on check out and the staff said, oh I wish you had said something as we could have brought a topper for it. And he said he would make a note in our file were we to come back. 5 STAR ALL AROUND.

Yelp
For our Seattle visit, I specially chose this hotel for its Space Needle view. I was pleasantly surprised- from the bathtub you're able to open the sliding shutters and view the Space Needle as well! The hotel is beautiful and the lobby is very modern! The staff are very accommodating and make you feel at home. My honest suggestion: the Space Needle is under construction and so are parts of the city around the hotel. I would recommend staying at another hotel and staying at Pan Pacific once the Space Needle's construction is complete.

Yelp
One of the best hotels we have ever been to. Absolutely amazing experience. We were given a 1000 square foot suite with views of downtown Seattle. The room was unbelievable. We had a full jet tub with a bathroom that was all windows on one side. You could see the entire view of the city from the tub. The staff was very, very helpful and courteous. The Hotel is small in regards to the lobby and restaurant, but the entrance is located in a small courtyard and there is a Whole Foods underneath the hotel (the elevator opens directly into Whole Foods from the hotel). The courtyard had a few places to eat as well. Also, this hotel is very affordable for how nice it is. This will be our Seattle hotel for future trips.

Yelp
Should be a zero star Checked in a 6pm (with reservations two weeks in advance) room was not ready Rooms smell musty and dirty No valet No room service Television remotes not working Housekeeping is by request only, don't know how to change sheets, left trash and dirty glasses, replaced used towels with dirty ones. They don't clean sinks toilets and showers. All around horrible service and zero hospitality. Seattle has many other options, would never stay here again

Yelp
Really mixed feelings about this place, but overall I am leaving underwhelmed.. I've wanted to stay here for years and ended up booking a last minute staycation through their Black Friday deal. So glad we got the 40% price because I would've been really disappointed paying their typical prices for our experience. We booked the premium space needle view King, which generally costs at least $350 on a weekend. We arrived at 4:20 PM on Saturday and found that the only option was $55 valet parking (higher than listed on the website). When we attempted to check in, we were told the room wasn't ready, despite the 4 PM check in, and no rooms were available for upgrade. We were given 2 free drink coupons for the issue, but when we went to the hotels bar to redeem them, they only covered $10 per tickets and each drink was at least $14+, so they weren't really two free drinks.. The cocktails were fantastic though, so that was a nice surprise! When we got the room, we were disappointed to find that you couldn't even see the Space Needle from the bedroom of the "Premium Space Needle View" room.... Strange. The room also lacked amenities we expected of a hotel in his caliber- no towel hooks in the bathroom, no fridge space for personal items (only mini bar items for sale), no smart tv capabilities for streaming services... As for the positives- the bathroom, specifically the tub, is truly to die for. I love that sliding door that opens from the bathroom/tub area to the bedroom. The room was very spacious, had a very comfortable bed, and the sitting area had a beautiful view of the space needle. Whole Foods is right next store so we were able to easily grab snacks for the room, and we enjoyed getting Tutta Bella pizza for dinner which is just outside the hotel. Overall, we were underwhelmed with our experience for this price and my recommendation is to skip the Pan Pacific for and go to the Loews 1000 instead. They have much nicer amenities (a PERFECT bathtub) and you truly get what you pay for there. We still had a great time at the Pan Pacific but we won't be back.

I love this place! Nice location and amenities, friendly and helpful staff. The bathrooms are nice for a relaxing getaway.

Yelp
I've stayed at this hotel a few times and every time has been a positive experience. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and professional. This last time we got a room with a view of the Space Needle which was impressive. Pan Pacific Seattle is located in South Lake Union right next to Whole Foods Market and a bunch of restaurants. This is an ideal spot to stay on vacation if you're visiting Seattle or just taking a staycation like we did. The hotel also has a gym/pool area across from the valet section. The pool itself is more like a large hot tub where you can turn on the jets and relax. The hotel also provides a valet service to nearby places in Seattle so you can take advantage of that instead of an Uber. I plan on staying here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seattle.

Yelp
I just arrived this hotel tonight. I added about 60 dollars to 250 dollars Hotel.com point for a free night. ( So basically it costed us more than 300 dollars for a night) I came inside the room ahead while my husband was still looking for a parking lot.(came inside the room with a kind bellboy and gave him small tip when he left.) At first, I thought that Room looks nice but not nice view at all but well can't be helped and I was ok with the room. Right after the bellboy left,I was going to use restroom and opened the lid of the toilet and I saw something very shocking in the toilet bowl. Someone's Poo was sticking on the bowl. I talked to the front desk on the phone and claimed about issue with calm. The front desk told me that he'll send someone to my room to clean the toilet bowl. I was expecting someone will come to my room soon but it too 15min to come. A maintenance worker came and he brought all his tools which I was wondering what he's going to do with the tools. I was watching him and he doesn't even have any cleaning stuffs but only tools. I asked him that what are you doing? Didn't you come here to clean the toilet bowl? He told me that it doesn't flush well but you can use it.. I was like what are you talking about? I didn't ask to fix but to clean. He said ok and then he still try to fix something which isn't make any sense at all. I said to him when can we use bathroom (my husband came in the room right before the maintenance guy came to our room )? He said to me "you can use restroom go ahead". I was like did you clean the toilet bowl??? He was ah no and spoke everything with attitude. Finally he got rid of the poo but he used something putty knife from his tool instead of cleaning brush with toilet cleaner. And he retired the tool in his tool cart. Seeing this made me feel more disgusting and sick And the guy was so rude. I was patient at first but I couldn't stand with this guy and the situation. I went to front desk and explained whole thing and front desk (bellboy) said sorry and gave me water. I said no thank you. Because you give me water for apologize!? So funny. The hotel called us and asked when we were heading to the hotel kindly "Is there anything we can do for you before your arrival ?" Well, I want to say that Check all rooms bathrooms if it's clean or not before you get your guests if you have time to call us to ask if there's anything they can do for us ahead. There's always mistakes all are not perfect,However Poo in the toilet bowl can be counted big minus4 stars. I have stayed at many 4 star hotels before especially in California and New York. I guess 4 star hotel in Washington is like this... This bad experience made me that I even didn't want to eat dinner and I didn't order any although we went to a fancy restaurant. Also, this experience with this poo hotel issue with these lazy workers made me that I hate Seattle! What is this hotel!!??? Very expensive and this we got. Very sad. I am going to write a letter to this hotel president.

Yelp
My bff and I stayed at Pan Pacific for a weekend getaway and it truly felt like home away from home. The customer service was amazing, they were all very welcoming and helpful. We had so much fun from the start till the end. We stayed on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of the Space Needle. This hotel is located in the middle of all the tourist things. Highly recomm. Thanks again Pan Pacific, looking forward to my next stay!

Yelp
i had the BEST time at the pan pacific. i decided to treat myself to a night here to celebrate graduating from UW. i got there, and my room was ready right at four. when i got to my room, there was sparkling wine, a card, and a dessert plate, which was so sweet. the tub was absolutely amazing and it came with bath salts, the view was gorgeous (although if you aren't used to Seattle or a big city, the sirens might bug you). i went to the whole foods that is connected to the pan pacific for dinner (not great, but cheaper than a restaurant). i got room service for breakfast, and they were very quick & kind. there was an accidental charge on my account, but i let them know & they removed it, no questions asked. i will definitely stay here again !

Yelp
Our room was airy and clean and well-appointed, lots of charging ports (so important, right?) fluffy towels, etc. This location was super walkable for us and close to lots of good restaurants. We also had breakfast one day here onsite and it was excellent. Definitely would stay here again were we back in Seattle!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my short weekend stay, the front staff and restaurant staff were incredibly nice. The room was very clean, I wiped it down myself with Clorox wipes and wasn't much dirt on them. Bed was super comfy and the tub door opening to the room was just amazing! That was the best part. We had the city view and we could see a store in front of us as well as apartments/condos. Pretty quiet and able to sleep without any outdoor noise. The only complaint of the room was the mini fridge. After asking, we found out it was in the cabinet under the TV but it wasn't cold at all and the drinks were hot so we had to drink warm water. We had breakfast in their restaurant and that was disappointing. I had biscuit and gravy with chorizo and the biscuits were obviously cold and hard, my least favorite meal I've had. But the staff was nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Doormen were great with suggestions on transportation around the city and places to visit. The room itself was absolutely beautiful! The soaking tub in the king room was large enough for two people. I liked that it was across from the shower versus beside the shower. The bathroom had a lot of room even though there was only one sink. We were able to see the Needle from our room and the view. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Seattle.

Yelp
This is the first hotel I've stayed at where the soap provided did not dry my hands out, lol. I wish their breakfast had more options but the restaurant itself is lovely. We visited downstairs several times for drinks and Abraham provided wonderful service and great conversation. The room was comfy with a great view and the bedding was soooo cozy. I loved how the tub had doors above it that opened into the room. I don't really know how to describe it but it was nice. Location was awesome, we walked down to Pike Place and ate at several local restaurants. It was a great stay, would definitely stay again.

T T.

Yelp
The hotel is nice. Rooms are not as stylish as anticipated. Furniture arrangement isn't ideal for the clumsy traveler. Toe and shin stubbings are a true hazard. Lobby is beautiful. Parking is ridiculous, $34-43/night. However, that's becoming a normal charge all over. The best part about our stay and a reason I would personally come back is Andy. He was our boy Friday in shining armor. He tolerated our every query. He showed patience when we were picky. And sent the handy man staring away when our cable was slightly loose.

Yelp
I can't EVEN begin to rave enough about how much we loved our brief stay, here. We go really lucky with the Seattle weather, as it was clear and sunny. I upgraded to a Space Needle view, Deluxe king bedroom and it was absolutely lovely! The room was immaculate, the bathroom was HUGE and I loved the big tub AND the glass shower. Our bed was super comfy. But, let me back up. Once our Lyft driver dropped us off we were warmly greeted. The front desk staff was BEYOND pleasant! We were early, and knew it. They took our bags for storage, until our room was ready. We got into their complimentary town car. The driver was super friendly and he saw that I had a cane. Seattle is definitely hilly, so he went the extra mile (pun intended) and dropped off right at Pike Market. Shortly thereafter, we got a call that our room was ready and the luggage was already in our room. When we were ready to return, the town car was in use... so they sent an Uber at no charge to us! Breakfast was good, the next morning. It really seems like the staff likes working here. We had such a great time, and I wish we could've stayed a day or two longer-- but we were headed to the cruise terminal for our Alaska cruise. I would definitely stay at this hotel, or any of their other properties. Definitely a first class hotel.

Karla M.

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel four nights. The restaurant and bar are very convenient, so is the location of the hotel, but the cleaning service was terrible. We had some friends in our room for drinks before a baseball game and I requested cleaning. They only gave us towels, the half drank glasses with beer and wine were left the entire time we were there as was all the garbage and melted ice in the ice bucket. I have never stayed at a hotel at this price and had no one clean the room for 5 days.

Yelp
In my truly opinion, the Pan Pacific is the most luxurious hotel in Belltown. The service is just what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The staff pay attention to even the tiniest details, for example when handing your room key they will walk around from the counter and hand your key to you. I know that sounds so trivial, but it's the small things like not hiding behind the counter which sets this hotel apart from the others. It's quite obvious that a lot of thought went into the planning and design of the guest rooms. The open bathroom with the tub closets to the main room allows the guest to take a bath and lounge while watching television on the huge HD television. The lobby and bar area are very inviting, though I did not have a chance to spend much time hanging out there. But as I was laying in my gigantic bed upstairs, thoughts of sipping a manhattan was vividly dancing in my head. Valet parking here is $39 per day and allows for unlimited in/out privileges, but for those who would rather spend that thirty nine bucks at Starbucks there is plenty of street parking in the area (free after 6pm and before 8am).

Yelp
Great hotel! Very accommodating staff. Held our bags for us when we arrived early and room was not quite done. Room was splendid. Stayed in the King Balcony Suite. Large suite. Restaurant breakfast was very good. Worth the trip.

Yelp
I spent a weekend at this hotel several months ago. The hotel itself was okay, the room was nice, and I liked the location. The staff was terribly rude and unaccommodating. I decided to give them one more chance, so I booked a night when I was going to Seattle for a concert. I showed up to the front desk to check in, and I was told that the hotel was already booked when I made the reservation. This was despite the fact that my reservation was processed and a hold was placed on my credit card. I never received any correspondence from them other than my confirmation email. I won't be back, and I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
