My family of two adults and two kids (age 8 and 10) just had the most wonderful 4 night stay at this hotel. EVERY single staff member we encountered was friendly and inviting; from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, the gardeners, you name it. The service was exceptional; always so quick when extra towels were needed or anything for that matter! The pool, the views, the gym made it a dream vacation and we will definitely be back. Special thank you to Don Prins and Jake Smith who made this stay possible for us.

Very nice hotel! Lukas checked us in and was very helpful and accomodating. Very professional and courteous. Our room while small it was very comfortable. Couldn't use AC and fireplace at the same time which was one of the bigger disappointments as it was a warm evening but a fire would have been a vibe, winter would be great with the fireplace though. Rooms were clean. We were surprised by how comfortable the beds, pillows and sheets were. It was a Murphy bed which was interesting but very comfortable none the less. Steam room/pool/ fitness closes at "10" but really that means 9:45? Steam room has a wonderful eucalyptus smell. Probably the only complaint I wish that was open a bit later. Overall great stay, good location, friendly staff. Would recommend and would stay again.

You definitely can’t beat the location and the suite we stayed in was quite comfortable. You will have to buy almost everything in terms of what you would need to cook in the kitchenette, but they did provide salt and pepper and everything you would need to actually cook with in terms of pots and pans. All of the staff is really cool and The kids I was with love the fact that they could just leave the room and grab bikes and go up on the mountain. I would definitely recommend this place and you can get some pretty great deals!

Google
This has been our go-to place for the last 15 years. Although the staff has changed, the quality and service has not. We once stayed at the Seasons, but for the Buck there was no Bang. And this place offers you accommodations where you can easily stroll on the stroll too many fabulous restaurants, or hit up the grocery store for light meals for you to prepare in your room (all of the utensils are there to do so), or just stumble into a perfectly good pub, for some awesome fish and chips. We have gone pre-covid and post covid, and this place has bounced back in good form. I've stayed in the two bedroom, the one bedroom, hillside, facing away from the hill, and studio on hill side. You can't go wrong with any of them (unless you take afternoon naps, then stay on the town side). You can't beat the price point. I look forward to going back next winter.

Been many times in Whistler but this was first stay at Pan Pacific. I will start with the fact that the room was one of the cleanest in any hotel ever, really impressive. The room has a fully equipped kitchenette, stove, full size fridge, dishwasher with pods available, kettle, microwave, toaster, coffee maker with excellent coffee included, pots, various utensils, kitchen towels, everything you need to prepare your own food. There is a laptop size safe, bathrobes and even great quality slippers. The TV has lots of quality channels. Underground parking is offered for a daily price. Very friendly staff, ready to help you. The location of the hotel is very close from the main area of Whistler Village. Overall very satisfied with this hotel and will be on top of the list for the next Whistler trip. Highly recommended!

Google
Although I was waiting for too long to check in, I was impressed by the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. From helpful recommendations on dining options to arranging transportation, their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests was evident throughout. The location is unbeatable - right at the base of the mountains, with breathtaking views from every angle. The perfect spot. The rooms are spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, with luxurious amenities that make you feel pampered from the moment you arrive. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable Whistler getaway!"

Google
The hotel is beautiful, nestled within the breathtaking stunning mountains of the Rocky Mountains in a perfect location minutes from shopping and many places to explore and dine. The suites are lovely, upgraded, and finished in granite with stainless appliances and two TV, and a fireplce and a nice sized living room and balcony. Our suite was quiet, spacious and roomy. Was so peaceful I had a wonderful relaxing stay. Highly recommended. Outstanding customer service.

Google
Locations hard to beat! Staff was polite and friendly. We had no cold water in the bathroom sink, and tried to call lobby but phone had no tone and didn’t seemed to work, although it was plugged. Loved the outside pool. Bit noisy since we were right in front of the gondola bus terminal.

Yelp
We just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay in Whistler at the Pan Pacific Mountainside. We found all associates to be friendly and attentive; and the valets running the shuttles back and forth from the Scandinavian day spa were fun to chat with. We had a 2-bedroom suite, and loved the little kitchen; and even the complimentary coffee was quite good. The room was well stocked, and supplies quickly replenished as needed. I found the bed to be comfortable and supportive, and appreciated the wireless phone chargers in multiple locations. Yes, we could hear the late night fun happening down at the Dubh Linn Gate Irish pub, but it wasn't terrible. A part of me wished I would have gone down and joined the fun! LOL I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Just love this hotel. The service is top notched. All the staff we encountered were friendly. Love the proximity to gondola and village. The ski storage service make life so much easier when travelling with kiddos who can't help. We stayed in suite with kitchenette. It has everything we need to cook with. Continental breakfast before ski day was very helpful.

Yelp
I love this hotel... I love the staff here... This is the second time I have stayed here... it just keeps getting bette and better! Stayed here during the summer crankworkx event... Best hotel for being right in the middle of everything.... plus the views are AMAZING! Rooms spacious suites... Well equipped kitchens... Huge floor to ceiling windows for amazing views and natural lighting Gas fireplaces inside Patios that overlook the mountain Probably one of the best hotels in Whistler village!

Wilson L.

Yelp
We had an excellent stay here at the Pan Pacific Mountainside. The stay was nice and the staff were friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and the pool and hot tub is great. Definitely would recommend it, it's such a great location.

Stelio D.

Yelp
Landmark hotel at the base of the Fitzgerald chair lift has all you expect at this price point. If it's in your budget or you can snag a deal, you'll enjoy your stay. Ideal location for summer mountain biking and Crankworx.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
There are so many better hotels in Whistler, don't chose this one. Beds are lumpy and pillows are hard. I spent extra on a mountainview upgrade which left us with a pool view room- and many gawkers. The Irish pub is bumping all night long and you will not sleep a wink. Hotel staff is rude. Not worth it. $1200 for 3 horrible nights sleep!

Erica C.

Yelp
Smaller hotel nestled at the end of the village next to the gondola. Excellent customer service! very cozy and overall amazing stay. Not sure how all the rooms are, but I was fortunate to get the one bedroom suite with a balcony, kitchen, and fireplace in the living room. The room is pretty soundproof which is a plus! I didn't have to deal with hearing my neighbors walking around or people talking outside my door. Sad that I didn't get a chance to check out their amenities, but there's always next time!

Greg L.

Yelp
The staff at this location are exceptional! The suite rooms are very nice with a gas fireplace in the living room area, full kitchen, balcony, bedroom and a nice size bathroom. I stayed on the sixth floor and the view of Whistler mountain and the Whistler Village below was perfect. You can also opt out of having your room cleaned for $10 (Canadian) per day should you so decide. Since I was in the room by myself and they provided abundant towels and coffee amenities, I opted out of the daily cleaning for the five nights I stayed there. If you need additional towels or coffee or anything of that nature, you can request it also. I loved the fact that they had creamers in the refrigerator rather than the powdered creamers at a lot of hotels. I requested additional creamers from housekeeping on the second day and I was more than content with my stay. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just outside the gondola ride to the top of the mountain and the Village is just around the corner on the other end. All in all, a great stay!

Alan N.

Yelp
I would give it a 5 but In my opinion that's deserving of a 5 star hotel....this place is really nice and the location is the best in Whistler, it's right on the mountain. A 5 star to me is a Four Seasons, Ritz, etc...where every aspect is pure luxury. This hotel is boutique in size so you give up some of the luxury amenities such as a world class interior and cool places to just chill. Other than that, I would recommend this if you are just planning on skiing and hanging out in the village. Try to get the mountain view room well worth the extra money.

Patricia M.

Yelp
This is my go to place in Whistler. The location is THE BEST! Literally ski in ski out. Ski lockers on the main floor steps from the lift. And when the day is done, a relaxing eucalyptus steam room and 2 hot tubs that sit over top of the bar and face Blackcomb mountain. This is one of those reviews I hope you don't like. . . Because I feel like I love this hotel so much I'd be devastated if I found it fully booked! There are cheaper for sure, but nothing offers the convenience of this location. I don't know much else about this hotel, I ski out in the morning. . . .ski in at days end . Sit it the hot tub. . . Sleep!

Yelp
I'm fortunate enough to stay at some pretty amazing four and five-star hotels around the world for work, and this is one of my favorite hotels. I just loooooooved my one-bedroom suite. It was like having a luxury little apartment. Having a full kitchen was amazing (though I never really got a chance to use it because I was in meetings all day and at events in the evening). The balcony with views of the mountains - spectacular (and I live in Tahoe!). The living room with its gas fireplace - so warm and welcoming, and a lovely couch to crash on at the end of the night to put up your feet and sigh with contentment. But let's talk about the bedroom. Because I had the suite, it was its own separate room with a king-sized bed, a mountain of soft pillows, and a thick, oh so warm feather comforter that I fell in love with. Being in the thick of the village meant there were tons of shops and restaurants within spitting distance, not to mention that Blackcomb is right out the back door for the gondola. If I'm ever back in Whistler, this is where I'm staying.

Luca M.

Yelp
It might not be the cheapest, but it's not among the most expensive in Whistler too. This hotel provides you with all you need for a perfect stay. Rooms are new and clean and extremely spacious, service throughout the whole hotel is just great and people are friendly and helpful. The position is just perfect, in front of the gondola and lifts and close to the meeting point of most if not all activities (rafting, ziplines, etc.) as it's also adjacent to where all the bus and shuttles stop. Many restaurants and shops are a mere 2 minute walk from the lobby (some directly accessible from it). I couldn't think of a better place where to stay in Whistler. Only negative, albeit minor, aspect I encountered is the laundry room which is very small and can get easily busy (and it's just as much easy to get dirty in Whistler).

Lori A.

Yelp
Was the loudest hotel room #505 We've ever stayed in. Will not be back! The bars outside our room played extremely loud music until late in the evening and into the early. We didn't get much rest on this trip.

Jessica A.

Yelp
Just stayed here for 3 nights for our mini moon and we were pleased with our choice. We had chosen the Pan Pacific as we had stayed at the village center location before, and were expecting the same clean rooms, comfortable beds, cushie pillows, and dark drapes as that location. Unfortunately, in the midst of our crazy wedding week, we had chosen a studio suite instead Of the one bedroom suite we had in mind. What is the difference, you ask? A pull out, sloping queen bed instead of a regular, plush king bed, as well as a whole lot of space. Being a couple who wanted to just stay in, enjoy the fireplace, views and each other, and forget that we had to share one bathroom (heehee), after one night in the studio room, we opted to change to a one bedroom suite. Matt at the front desk happily obliged and set us up. We were *so pleased* with the hospitality of the PP staff during our stay! Etienne was welcoming and friendly as our front desk clerk when we checked in late at night (and he also found my bracelet which had slipped off my wrist one night), Jamie was a great host on the free shuttle we took around town, and everyone was friendly and offered great advice for things to do and places to et whenever we asked. The morning staff were also kind enough to surprise us with a bottle of chilled sparkling wine when we changed rooms. We enjoyed our stay, the hot tubs, heated pool, and steam room and everything else Pan Pacific had to offer. They currently have a BC / WA resident preferred pricing, which includes free parking, which we took advantage of. Looking forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Yelp
When booking for our stay in Whistler, we were a bit late to the game and weren't left with many options (websites said Whistler was 97 percent booked...) Out of all of the options I looked at, Pan Pacific was not the cheapest, but seemed like the best in terms of locations and rooms and it definitely was! We had 10 people and booked one 2 bedroom suite and one 1 bedroom suite. Both were great, had kitchens, spacious rooms, and great views. Both rooms had a fireplace as well. Our one bedroom had a balcony that looked over the Blackcomb gondola with views of the slopes. We were comfortable, but we did think that two 2 bedroom suites may have been better for our group. The location was PERFECT. Literally steps to the slopes (and everything else) and in the heart of Whistler village. The hotel provided lockers for each room to store ski/snowboard gear on the first floor. The front desk employees were great in helping book other activities (two of us went snowmobiling while there and they booked it for us). The kitchens in the rooms were well equipped with anything you may need (glasses, plates, napkins, etc). The pool/hot tubs were nice too... they overlooked the slopes/lifts - they definitely got crowded at the end of the day, but it was still nice and relaxing. I think they say no glass at the pool, so take cans of beer or make a mixed drink in the jug they provide and take the plastic glasses down (that they provide for the purpose of taking to the pool). The eucalyptus steam room was amazing. It was nice to have the Irish pub attached to the hotel and there was also a rental shop that we didn't use, but wish we would have. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for THE perfect location or a big group traveling together!

Jeannette W.

Yelp
When I first walked into the room, I thought I must have been given a suite because I couldn't find the bed, so I presumed there was a separate bedroom. It turns out there was a pull out Murphy bed in the living room wall. I give the hotel kudos for ingenuity, but it made for an awkward room. I had a hard time trying to get around the bed. Of course, oblivious as I am, I stubbed my toe on the bed platform and it hurt like hell. Otherwise, the room was quite nice as it had a little kitchen, modern lighting, a dining table and even a fireplace. A bonus were the wonderful Aveda products. The one outstanding benefit of staying here is the hotel's proximity to the gondola. Unfortunately, I was there in the off season and it seemed like the gondola had just ended weekday service for the season so I couldn't take advantage of my location. I had to make due with the view of the mountains from my little balcony.

Ryan E.

Yelp
We stayed in a wonderful two bedroom suite. Big, clean and comfy. We originally had a one bedroom suite with a pullout, but I wouldn't suggest an adult trying to sleep on the pullout, it was very coily. Thankfully they had a two bedroom available for us to upgrade, I think the pullout mattress would be best suited for small children. The $50 per night upgrade was worth it. The beds were so comfortable and I got wonderful sleep. The full kitchen and fireplace were nice too. We stayed in room 416 on the corner. We had a side view of the mountain bikers and a front view of the trees obstructing most of the mountain range. It was fine b/c we didn't spend much time in our room. The staff was very helpful and recommended the right restaurants to suit my dietary needs, hiking for our skill levels and even brought me ice for my knees after a long day of banging them up on the trails. The day we checked out they allowed us to leave our car in the parking garage for no extra charge and offered to store our luggage. They also offered us a temporary hotel key so we had access to the facilities such as pool and exercise room. Also if we needed a shower they would have let use one. Pan pacific is located right near the gondola and lots of restaurants and shopping. It was very convenient. I would def stay here again if I got the chance. From the looks of the area anything in the village is nice and upscale.

Jeff M.

Yelp
We stayed for four days during the Summer, in a studio unit with a mountain view. Pros: - Very clean and well kept - Kitchen is well stocked with items needed for short stays - Staff was super friendly and very helpful when we needed location info - Nice location in the village being near plenty of places to eat and the gondolas Cons: - Mattress in studio rooms are too thin - Having a mountain side view means also facing the pool and having to hear all the noise that comes with it staying open until 11pm - Parking is on the pricey side at $28CAD each night

Prince D.

Yelp
Stayed here for 2 nights in June. Amazing experience overall. Great staff, clean rooms, and great location. Shoutout to Mike (one of the managers) and his team for making the experience memorable. I had mentioned it was my girlfriend's birthday so they had a chocolate treat and birthday card on the counter when we checked in. Amazing!!

Kristina S.

Yelp
Whether you come alone, or you have a large group, the Pan Pacific is a fantastic hotel to stay in! For three years in a row, they have been so accommodating with our company, and the service is outstanding. From the standard turning down of the beds at night (and also lighting our fireplace) to additional preferred member bonuses like offering to handle storage of our huuuge coolers by the pool so we didn't have to lug them around and refill/empty them each day. The rooms themselves are sooo nice. I was told that, when our company first came here, they all had studio suites. We now all have fully-stocked 1 bedrooms with just about any amenity one would need. Complimentary coffee and teas with a fancy coffee machine; FULL kitchen with running dishwasher, cooktop and oven, microwave, all the silverware, cutlery, pots, pans, plates, and bowls you'd need to dine in; additional blankets and pillows hidden in the coffee table, clothes drying rack and ironing set, fluffy robes, towels for days (and unlimited additional towels for the pool located on the large wall of shelves in the fitness area); blow dryer; complimentary soaps, hair goos, and lotion that actually smell good; television with complimentary cable (not that I personally watched any, but it was nice to know we had); FREE unlimited internet (thank you!); the sofa pulls out into a queen-sized bed; there's a large safe, located in the bedroom closet, aaaand there is also garage level parking, though our group came by charter bus so it wasn't needed. The sauna here divinely smells of mint and eucalyptus on floor 2 (the pool floor), with a full-service bathroom next to it complete with showers and lockers. There's exercise equipment, two hot tubs, a pool, an in-house spa retreat, gift shop, and pub with live music here as well. Not bad, Pan Pacific! Not bad at all! The staff here are so nice too. Trying to connect and coordinate with coworkers and/or family can be hard when one is in another country, and they totally hooked us up when asking to be connected to the phones of other room numbers. It made planning meet times so helpful! We definitely hope to be back again next year. We love this place!

Yelp
This place is DIALED. There is nothing lacking at the Pan Pacific Mountainside. - Board/Ski valet service allows you to ski in/ski out and not even have to cart your stuff to the car. LOVE.IT. - Nightly manager specials at the bar with sliders and complimentary wine. - Fuel your day at the slopes with complimentary Continental Breakfast bar, complete with fresh fruit, waffles ( Canadian Maple Syrup of course) pastries, cheeses + more. - Euro style rooms, comfortable with full kitchen and cool mountain views. - Gym. As if. But hey- it's there! -Outdoor star gazing in the heated pool and large hot tub. Plus a chance to ease those muscles after rippin' up the slopes all day. - Extremely professional and friendly staff. - Small but luxurious spa was totally a treat- but really HARD ON THE WALLET. Massage alone: $150 with tax. All in all, Money well spent.

B L.

Yelp
I have stayed here the past two years in a row, both times during spring skiing season.I have always enjoyed our stay - never any complaints. The location is unbeatable (practically a ski in/out) The views to the whistler mountain/gondolas are incredible, as well as being in the middle of it all the after ski action, restaurants etc... The suites are not huge, but they have the right proportions. The full kitchen in the 2/2 is very well done. The staff has always been very courteous! btw, the outdoor pool and spas have tremendous views of the mountain - its especially nice on Sundays when you can see the whistler ski show right from the Pool Deck! - I cant wait to visit again!!

Carol H.

Yelp
Just Ok. Pros: - Great location closest to Blackomb Gondola - Friendly staff - Rooms have kitchenette (provided you want that) - The Dublin Restaurant/Bar is inside Cons: - You might get a stow away bed - bad mattress, not comfortable - pricey for the decor I booked through intrawest/whistler.com and was going to stay at the Westin when the agen recommended the Pan Pacific Mountainside....she didn't tell me that the bed would not be a real bed. I had to upgrade to a better room and for the price, the Westin would have been better. I didn't want/need/use the kitchenette, but it might be great for a family or if you aren't planning to eat out.

Lincoln M.

Yelp
Expensive? You bet - but such a delight to stay at. We actually got a cheaper price off one of those websites and were SO pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It is ideally located right at the base of Whistler Mountain and is a stunningly beautiful place to stay. They let us check in early, provided parking and wi-fi and really went out of their way to please at every opportunity. The room is small, but beautiful. This means that there were exactly zero beds in sight for our family of four when we checked in. Of course, there was a Murphy bed and a pull out couch which took up most of the room when it was time for sleep. There was also a closet, bathroom, kitchen and tiny patio provided. The highlight had to be a pool and spa area which actually overlooks the main plaza at the base at Whistler and allowed me to watch the mountain bikers finish their runs as I sipped beers in the hot tub taking in the fresh mountain air and amazing sights. The eucalyptus mint spa steam room also meant that our entire floor smelt amazing 24/7. Everyone was so friendly, is was so clean and the amenities so amazing that if I ever return to Whistler there is absolutely no doubt where I'll be staying. If you're thinking of going spend the little extra - it makes a BIG difference!

Travis H.

Yelp
I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last 6 years. Each time was great, the staff and accommodations are always first class. Customer service is there to serve and the location to the mountain is perfect. I loved it. My family loved. We're going back asap!

Brenda R.

Yelp
My husband and I went here last August. Stayed here for about 3 nights and we just really loved staying here. Come on, it's the backdrop of Crankworks and the Winter Olympics! It can't get any better than that. The room was clean and the kitchen was big enough for the two of us. We definitely used that kitchen! The hotel has a gym which I frequented and a decent size pool with spa. Internet is free! It's all about the location! The Whistler mountain bike park and the gondolas are right outside its doors. There's a park nearby and there's shops and restaurants all over the village that you could simply walk to from the hotel and back. The hotel also provided a bike storage, which my husband didn't trust so much because the hotel claims that they are not liable for. Use at your own risk or simply try to sneak your bikes in your room, which we did! Parking was about 25 bucks a day. The only downside was that the pillows were fluffy but they were too soft. My head would just really sink in but that's the reason why I bring my own pillows especially on road trips. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again espeically if I could get deals on the internet.

kath r.

Yelp
We were fortunate enough to score a last minute room here at the Pan Pacific for Cornucopia this past weekend. Centrally located in the village - literally stumbling distance to Longhorn Saloon, Ric's Grill and Araxi Restaurant, and at the base of the Blackcomb gondola - the Pan Pacific was the perfect place to rest our heads after long days and nights of wine tasting. The hotel had all the amenities one needs for a ski-stay weekend - coffee machine, kitchenette, big robes, hot tub and heated outdoor pool (with view of the village and gondola) and valet service around town. The staff are incredibly friendly. Not the same polish as their counterparts at the Pan Pacific Vancouver downtown (or other luxury Pan Pacific hotels I've stayed at), but then, it's a ski town so a more approachable level of service is appreciated for a relaxed weekend out of the big smoke. Room comparisons are similar; the suites at other Pan Pacific hotels tend to be more luxurious, this location seemed a little tired. All in all though, a deal.

Cathy J.

Yelp
This is a "first impression" review; we will see if they can elevate their game while we are here. Check in was an abysmal experience: a sullen faced, snarly guy informed us our room wasn't ready and they would call if it came available before 4pm. They didn't call but, when we returned to the front desk at 4:02, it had miraculously become available in that two minutes. With one eighth of the parking filled and as a member of their Discovery program, we were still assigned the room immediately off the elevator, and facing the road. Actually, they claimed not to have knowledge of the some of the Discovery membership items listed on the website so call to check on availability before booking if you plan to use any benefits of the program. Internet is very slow so far. While the living room furniture is extremely uncomfortable, the bed is large and clean. The tiny kitchen and average size bath were clean although the paint was pealing and the refrigerator looked like someone was practicing hockey against it. The pots and pans will require an additional scrubbing before I will eat anything from them. The waiter at the Dubh Linn pub on the first floor was welcoming and kind so that's something. The location is their best selling point with several lifts literally right outside the door,

Gas E.

Yelp
Best location in Whistler, great view, rooms have everything they need and personnel is professional

Daniel L.

Yelp
Note to self; they have a locals rate with id, and the rate turns out to be equal to most all average style hotels in Whistler soooo its worth the rate cause its a no brainer upgrade. walk out the doors steps away from both mountain lifts. One of the best apres bars in the village ground level (Dublin Gate). The room & service is of course are top end. Well sound proofed rooms with murphy beds and kitchenettes amazing views... So good thing for me in this occasion as I had a ski injury and didnt want to walk anywhere or should I say I could walk anywhere Nuff said..

Maria-Pia D.

Yelp
I know the PP Mountainside pretty well having stayed many times. I have only ever stayed in the studio, and friends will question me about the comfort of the "Murphy bed" I assure you it is SO comfortable. I love that all the units have kitchens, fireplace, balcony, floor to ceiling windows, bathrobes, slippers, Aveda products... This is a nice, clean, hotel with excellent location. You can walk to either gondola to go up Whistler or Blackcomb in 2 min or less. I think the amenities are great too! The outdoor pool/ jacuzzi deck is on the 2nd floor and overlooks the gondolas. The fitness facilities are great, with changerooms, steamroom, bathing suit spinner. Also the ski lockers on the ground floor are in a super convenient location, plus the Salomon ski shop is there too with rentals available. I noticed they are also bike-friendly (with secure storage and tuning station) so I'll be back in the summer for mountain bike season! Not to forget their staff, all are great! But I find the bell staff super friendly and are always running their butts off! Love them!

Dn C.

Yelp
Dan and Justin went above and beyond for us Sunday night. We were without liquor and needing to hit the hot tubs after a long day on the mountain. We were told snottily at the grocery store that there were no open liquor stores in the village on Sunday night. We walked back to our hotel and asked the gentleman at the door to call us a cab so that we may procure some beverages. They did us one better and drove us there. We really appreciated that. All of us work or have worked in the device industry and really appreciate the care the pan pacific took to make sure our experience was enjoyable. Great service. We will be back.

Illy M.

Yelp
Lovely hotel with mountain views! Went there for my boyfriend's birthday and he was surprised with a birthday card and an amazing chocolate treat (I had to try it too ;). Thank you Pan Pacific! We loved The place and will be coming back. It's well located by the gondola, close to the village, and the outdoor hot tubs and heated pool are all one can ask for.

Thomas B.

Yelp
After a few days there, we better understood the hotel's flaws. the bed was hard and we felt it after a while. We also had an run in with a pest (ok these are the great outdoors but .......)

My boyfriend just stayed here for the weekend in their studio suite. The room was really comfortable and clean. It had a full kitchen and a comfy Murphy bed. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I loved the eucalyptus steam room and the pool hours (6am-11pm). The hotel's location and sports equipment valet made biking around the village and mountainside really convenient. Paying an additional $25 a day for parking was the only bummer.

Yelp
Great location! I went with some family to watch the Iron Man event in August and our stay was fantastic! The amenities were nice and clean. The view from our room was great! We were able to watch people come up and down the mountain on their bikes or in the gondolas. Our unit had a kitchen, two bathrooms, fire place, a little outdoor seating area, and two bedrooms that accommodated all of us comfortably....which was three adults, one toddler, and one baby. Everything was nice and clean. The walls are thick, we couldn't hear our neighbors. Room service was easy and we were able to order from the restaurants near by since they deliver. The wifi was okay... a little spotty. It was really easy to get around from the hotel since everything is in walking distance!

Yelp
Great room, free WiFi, good housekeeping, slopeside access to the resort, which is great during ski season and just as good during the summer season, which is when we were there. We got a nice deal for the place, so it was a good price. A very clean, very convenient, very easy place to stay in a wonderful resort.

Yelp
Amazing. The best hotel I have ever stayed at. And I travel A LOT. Before checking in to the hotel, my husband and I went to Brandy Wine Falls. This is where he proposed to me. It was the best moment of my life. We went into Whistler Village and at check in, the one checking us into our room noticed I was beaming with happiness, she asked me why I was so excited and happy. I told her it was my birthday and that (husband) just proposed to me. They triple upgraded our room to a mountain view three room suite. We cooked dinner in our hotel kitchen that night, we walked around the shops and it was in perfect location. We spent time on our patio while watching the bikers on the mountains. The beds are super comfortable. The service was insanely awesome. The next morning we woke up to a congratulations and birthday card they had slid underneath our door. We also received a phone call from the front desk who checked up on us and if we needed anything they were there within seconds. I love this hotel and cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
The hotel staff are accommodating. We checked in early around noon and received a later check out, which was nice. The pool outside provides a beautiful view of the mountains. The standard room is fair for what you pay for. I preferred the village pan pacific as our room was much more spacious and newer looking.

Yelp
To be fair, I should disclose that my opinion was influenced by the cost of the room. The standards are higher for a room priced at over $900 per night (includes tax). Granted, the location is great and it was a one bedroom suite. However, at that price one should expect more. First, THE GOOD - The location is incredible, especially for families. You are literally 30 yards from gondolas and lifts to both mountains. There are two ski rental spots in the lobby of the hotel. You are at the base of the village, walking distance to numerous restaurants and bars. Service is good, not great, but good. The one bedroom suite is small but workable....basically, you are buying location. Pool/spa area is good. A laundry room, which is always helpful when skiing for a long period. Challenges 1 - We stayed in room 214. After inquiring on day 2, we were told that the room was right above the kitchen. It was pretty loud in the mornings starting at 7 and in the evenings until about midnight. It was over the holiday period so this might be due to the busy time of year. Didn't keep the kids away but bothered the adults. 2 - Room smelled like grease when we checked in. It was fine after a day of airing out. 3 - Only restaurant in the hotel is an Irish pub. We did not like the food. As a result, we needed to leave the hotel for every meal 4 - Gym is very small and limited 5 - Front Desk ("One Service") arranged for a car from the hotel to the airport. It was booked a few days in advance. On two separate occasions I confirmed that the pick up time was appropriate given a pending snow storm. Both times the front desk said we would be fine. Because of the snow the driver was 20 minutes late and an 2 hour drive took 3 hours. As a result we missed our flight and had to sit around the airport for an additional 5 hours (plus a $100 change fee). I will probably try a different hotel next visit....but definitely in the same area as the location is great.

Yelp
We love this hotel. We've stayed before and it's wonderful every time. Love the free wifi All amenities were great. Love the pool, hot tubs and sauna. Was able to get a card for access to the hotel for entire day even though we checked out early. We were able to come back after the activities and shower at the spa. They held our bags and the front desk crew was very accommodating. Thank you for a good value. Love this place.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on a busy day. It's comfortable, the waitress was very friendly, and its WARM. The food was pretty good, and filling.

Yelp
Stayed here a few weeks back with my partner and his parents. The two bedroom accomidations are great! We had a view of Whistler and Blackcolm Mnt and the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. Well we had a view when we could see something. Weather while we were there sucked but you cant blame that on the hotel. Service was good, breakfast was ok. I didnt understand the refried beans for breakfast. :) Concierge service was awesome as they took our gear from the car, took it over to the ski locker at the mountain which is a nice added touch. Location is great! Not next to the gondola but that is good because its nice and quiet. Didnt get to use the gym or pool but they looked nice.

Yelp
I usually stay at the fairmont in whistler but decided to try pan pacific. I asked for a quiet room and the manager said no problem. At 3 am someone started hammering! Long enough to wake me then stopped. I called front desk and they sent someone out to check but damage already done! So hard to get back to sleep!!! I slept in and when I spoke to the manager at checkout she just had a deer in the head lights look. No apology. No nothing. No acknowledgement except that they would put it in my profile that I wanted higher up and quiet. They basically wanted me to get the hell out and get lost. Not impressed with business acumen... Manager was not interested in dealing with this issue so chose to ignore it altogether. :( Irish pub for breakfast made up for the experience at pan pacific! Great service, great food!

Yelp
We stayed at the pan pacific in March 2010 instead of the fairmont because of it's proximity to the lifts. Luckily, it turned out to be a great hotel too. The rooms are European style and a run a bit on the cozier side but are neat and up to date. Our room had a fireplace, sitting area, dinning area with a balcony, and a modern kitchenette with all the tableware and silverware needed. The staff are efficient and friendly. The ski valet is conveniently located on the lobby level as you exit towards and ski shop, which has rentals should you require them. My wife was a tad bit anxious with the European style folding bed, but it was just space conserving measure and didn't sacrifice on the comfort of the bed. This place was great for us because it was literally at the foot of both the blackcomb and whistler mountain lifts. After a full day of skiing there's nothing like sitting in the open jacuzzi on the third floor with a view of both the mountains. The hotel swim and gym area is stocked with plenty of comfy towels and clean showers if you choose to freshen up before you leave the pool/gym area. Not only was it located right at the base of the mountains but it was right in the whistler village too so it was close to EVERYTHING!!! We definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend it to skiers.

Yelp
What a great location these guys are in. If you can get one of the rooms with the views, you can wake up to the glorious mountain view in quiet comfort. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The pull out beds were a bit odd and I wouldve preferred traditional beds, however, we did see the benefit of having more room to move about during the day and the beds were actually surprisingly comfortable. The staff was really friendly, the kitchenette was functional and quite useful and the bathroom was clean and had a really nice shower. Overall, this is an easy choice for a place to stay when you are visiting, and the ski lifts are literally right outside, a few seconds away.

Yelp
Very very pleased with this experience! Promptly and personally greeted at Check-In with Matt(?). Got the room we requested and didn't have any complaints after our week stay. Great location within the Village -- very close but not too close. Loved this place. Will come back here from now on.
