Food is OK. Could be better. The arepas probably need lard or something as they are dry and a bit hard when biting. I would suggest they make a really good spicy salsa for their Arepas and Empanadas as they are tasteless or plain in flavor. I got the green salsa but it has no flavor or is spicy at all. I felt the service was a little slow and we did not get the food at the same time. Also we paid $3.50 for 1 arepa with cheese but then $10 on another because we added ham. $6.50 extra for a bloody slice of ham!! It was not even Jamon Iberico!! What a rip off!!! Both arepas looked the same and same size.

This is the only place in the Chicago area, which sends me with its food to original Colombian taste. Breakfasts are delicious, fresh, and tasty...

We popped into this place randomly one day to kill time while we waited for our son to finish karate class next door. Since then, it has become one of our favorite places. We had a cafe con Leche and a pastry. Both were amazing, so we decided to be adventurous and order a small pizza. Getting pizza from a bakery seemed outrageous to me, but I'm so glad we did. The crust is crispy and buttery, and the cheese was so flavorful and layered thick. I was astonished at how amazing this pizza was. Since we are in the area twice a week, we have been trying new things frequently. Their pineapple pizza is soooooo delicious! Even those who don't agree with pineapple on pizza have been shocked at what this place can do! Not only do they have baked goods, great coffee, and amazing pizza, but they also have an entire menu filled with all kinds of Colombian delights! I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Walked in and sat down. Waited forever. Finally someone came over only because I kept looking to see if someone was coming. We ordered coffee and busquemos. And than waited again. We finally told the guy that took our order that we were ready to order and he said someone will come over as he sat down to count the tips and I guess log it. I wanted to order the papas correadas but wanted to know what the house guiso was and didn't really get an explanation. I asked if if was with red sauce and I was told no. So I thought that it would be an oil with onions, spices and the cheese. Well it came with a red sauce!! Disappointing!! No one came to see if we needed anything or refill the water. We had to ask for it and waited yet again. Waitress was a little rude. Need to learn how to treat your customers!

We really had a great time the food was prepared really fast everything ordered was really tasty great reconditions from our waiter Anderson he was a great host thank you for your service Anderson I really recommend this location we will most definitely be back again

This is cute place to buy Colombian baked goods and pizza. I highly recommend the Arepa de Choclo.

In a better world that I hope is soon to come, every neighborhood will have a Colombian bakery. Pizza y Pan Pa' Ya makes for a comfortable introduction to what is arguably the world's most underrated bakery culture; Colombian breads deserve a reputation equal to or greater than those of the French, Italians, etc.

Large deep pepperoni & mushroom - yumm! Light flaky pizza dough and just enough everything. Impressed and will order again.

All these Colombia's pastries are to die for! Service is also super nice and friendly

Pulled up to Pan y Pizza Pa' Ya and grabbed some buñuelos-- nothing fancy. They were warm and fresh, but honestly kinda dense and more chewy than I was hoping for. Not terrible, but I've had lighter ones elsewhere in the city. Service was chill, quick, no complaints there. If you're nearby and got a craving for Colombian pastries, it's a decent pit stop--but not a game-changer.

This place is so good!!!!! When they first opened I went to visit so I could check out the place. My family is the real owners of the Als pizza that was there 3 years back they had their buisness for about 10 years plus before someone else bought it and left the name and kinda killed our family tradition. So when I went I was more than happy to see a family own business take over. Pizza pan pa ya!!!!!! What a great place. From their freshly baked breads, their amazing desserts, their empanadas, rellenos de papas, arepa de chocolo!!!!!! Amazing food! Today instead of stuff my face with bread n coffee I decided to try a full lunch meal. Saucy ribs, with arroz, habichuelas, and salad. My daughter tried their bowl rice beans and protien of your choice she chose steak. Everything was delicious, fresh, and the staff was happy, polite. Fidel the owner was very attentive as well. I'm not telling you to visit but I am telling you, you will regret your life if you don't. Don't let people tell you about it go have a taste for yourself!!!!

Mi esposa pidió una Sobrebariga y nunca se la llevaron y los meseros y me imagino que era el manager no fueron capaces de pedir una disculpa. Los precios de la comida muy caros para una calidad muy pobre. ÚLTIMA VEZ QUE VAMOS A ESE LUGAR. Si no son capaces de dar un buen servicio en un restaurante mejor dedíquense a la panadería. Pan y pizza or pizza y pan. Either way, it's delicious. This new location is close to Merimac park and has the same great taste. Baked goods, pizza, y pan! This location will have pizza by the slice, and their signature coffee treats. Come try a delicious treat

Didn't know this place existed. Always passed by but was going for some café con leche and a friend suggested we go here because they'd been there and thought it was good. They were not lying! So good that I ordered a 2nd cup! Ordered some appetizers and not the best ,but not the worst either. Columbian food in general is good and this place offers all sorts of items to choose from. We tried at least one of each of the main staple Columbian delicacies- pan de bono, pan de bono with guava , pan de bono con queso( our favs)YUM! And well, it's very very good, the baristas make good café con leche! . The best part, not only does their coffee and food menu offer a good variety, they are open until 9pm daily.. I stop in for coffee here at least 3/4 x's a week. That's how good the coffee and treats are. If you decide to sit and enjoy, the salsa music playing over the speakers will keep you dancing in your seat.. their staff are all attentive and very friendly ,making the whole experience nice. Tip, if you order any of the pan de bonos or empanadas, ask that they warm them up for ( they are alot better warmer. This place is a winner !

Worth a few visits. They have a nice bakery selection Colombian sweet breads and their Hawaiian pizza has a great and unique flavor that I go back for. We also bought a Rosca during the season, although pricey, was also delicious and reduced regrets for the pricing.

This hidden gem surprised me!! It is absolutely delicious! Empanadas, arepas, different types of pan, all so good! The coffee is divine! This food and service is next level. I can't wait to keep coming back and trying new items on their menu!

We live in the neighborhood and love this place! Delicious, super affordable pizza. Their arepas are amazing, and they have a wonderful selection of other Colombian treats. We are not Colombian, so it's fun for our family to get to try such great food from another culture. Everyone there is so nice - it's family run and they really care about their customers!

Love this place. The baked breads are fresh daily, the Cafe con Leche is delicious. The pizza is yummy. The Rice bowls are excellent. Oh and the Flan is scrumptious.

Stopped in on a whim after work for a slice and decided to try the Relleno. Both were absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! The breads all looked delicious and I took a flan to go! If you're in the neighborhood I definitely recommend it!

The thin crust pizza was so good...as well as the empanadas!!!! Can't wait to try other things on the menu!!
