We popped into this place randomly one day to kill time while we waited for our son to finish karate class next door. Since then, it has become one of our favorite places. We had a cafe con Leche and a pastry. Both were amazing, so we decided to be adventurous and order a small pizza. Getting pizza from a bakery seemed outrageous to me, but I'm so glad we did. The crust is crispy and buttery, and the cheese was so flavorful and layered thick. I was astonished at how amazing this pizza was. Since we are in the area twice a week, we have been trying new things frequently. Their pineapple pizza is soooooo delicious! Even those who don't agree with pineapple on pizza have been shocked at what this place can do! Not only do they have baked goods, great coffee, and amazing pizza, but they also have an entire menu filled with all kinds of Colombian delights! I definitely recommend checking this place out.

In a better world that I hope is soon to come, every neighborhood will have a Colombian bakery. Pizza y Pan Pa' Ya makes for a comfortable introduction to what is arguably the world's most underrated bakery culture; Colombian breads deserve a reputation equal to or greater than those of the French, Italians, etc.

This is cute place to buy Colombian baked goods and pizza. I highly recommend the Arepa de Choclo.

I ordered chicken and beef and empanadas. I definitely preferred the chicken. I know it's customary for Colombian empanadas to have a lot of potato in them. The chicken do not have potato in them and that's why I prefer them. It's honestly just a personal preference. They're completely delicious and I recommend you try both. The green sauce that comes with empanadas is delicious. Definitely recommend you try that. The coconut flan is giving cheesecake. very thick not creamy. also the cheese cake now have dates on container

Food was ok at best. I don't know if it was fair pricing as I am sitting here waiting for the waitress for quite a while. Its not that busy but I do see them busy in the kitchen. I am waiting for water since my original drink has been consumed. Is it worth the drive NO. The pastires look delicious but the bonuelo was OK. If you are local support them hopefully they improve. I would not return as there are better options in Chicago.

LUNCH WAS $12. Have their lunch special, which includes Juice and Soup and you can choose chicken or steak and of course you get rice but I skipped the rice to avoid a double chin. The juice had enough sugar to kill a diabetic elephant but besides that it was amazing!! Try the Coffee. GOOD! TWELVE BUCKS!! The #1 at McDonald's is $11 Support Independent Restaurants
