Where To Eat Lunch In Soho - London - The Infatuation

"This Filipino bakery occupies a giant, airy spot off Berwick Street that can fit hypebeasts and their bulging Supreme bags, or anyone who needs a minute away from their laptop. Panadera’s sandwiches continue to be the standout order. Sweet, buttery slices of just-toasted pandesal are filled with things like a deep-fried corned beef patty. And the pandan frappe, with pieces of coconut jelly, is a sweet meal in itself." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

Panadera Soho - Review - Soho - London - The Infatuation

"After shuttering its Kentish Town original, Panadera has turned its attention to central London domination. A successful offshoot of the Filipino bakery is already in Marylebone and this Soho location is the biggest and breeziest yet. It’s a giant, airy spot off Berwick Street that can fit hypebeasts and their bulging Supreme bags, complete with a shared table for anyone who needs a minute away from their laptop. Panadera’s sandwiches continue to be the standout food order. Sweet, buttery slices of just-toasted pandesal are filled with things like a deep-fried corned beef patty, a very good egg mayo mixture, or a refreshingly light take on chicken caesar. Drinks are worth some special attention too. The pandan frappe, with pieces of coconut jelly, is a sweet meal in itself. Food Rundown Egg Sando There’s a lot to be said for a good egg mayo mixture and this is a fine example. The egg is very finely chopped, there’s a generous amount of Kewpie going on, and plenty of finely chopped chives and white onion. photo credit: Jake Missing Chicken Caesar Sando We’ve had a few different interpretations of a chicken caesar and this one leans welcomely light. The pulled chicken mixture isn’t too heavy on the mayo and there’s a nice blanket of parmesan on top. Not too heavy, not too light. It’s decent. photo credit: Jake Missing" - Jake Missing

I stopped in to try out their matcha last week. The kind man at the counter recommended I try the Ube Matcha. It was so delicious! I can’t speak much on their food as they had no gluten free options, but looked visually appealing.

Tried Panadera Soho recently — the chicken and mushroom sando was actually really nice. I can definitely see myself getting it again. The Corner Beef, on the other hand, was… edible, to say the least. Wouldn’t recommend that one. The coffee was good, and the lady at the till provided friendly service, which was a nice touch. Seating could definitely be improved though — not the most comfortable setup. I also tried a pastry item that tasted like garlic bread with a sugary twist. It was okay.

Tucked away in a quiet street of Soho, this is a nice cafe with good Sando offer, freshly prepared. Their “garlic bread” take is really good with a topping of cream cheese. My only critic is the lack of table, the intent is to eat along the window but the window edge is very narrow so it doesn’t work.

Some cafes pretend they are a bakery and sell baked goods. And then there are REAL bakeries offer coffees and a comfy place to enjoy their freshly baked creations. Panadera is the latter, and they do their donuts devilishly well.

A gem! Excellent customer service, quality, delicious and filling food (corned beef hash and egg sandos.) Milo mocha was tasty. Sitting by the open window was nice! Keep up the excellent work and loved the music playlist too :) Salamat!
