"A hole in the wall in the general landscape of Houston dining, this panaderia has been a go-to for the greater Hispanic community, churning out bolillo bread, conchas, and most importantly, tres leches. The airy cake consists of creamy condensed milk and is topped with whipped cream frosting. Stock up on all your favorite Mexican breads and pastries here at an affordable price, too." - Lane Gillespie, Sean Hekmat
I stopped by this panadería for the first time on 3/8/24, small and not much selection but we liked the pan de dulce I picked. The bolillos were ok but not the best. The lady at the register was friendly.

the sweet bread is little too dry but they do have the best cakes and their French roll/Baguette are always fresh

I've been here a few times thinking I'd give it another chance, but everything tastes so bad. None of the bakery items are ever fresh. Some of the items have a spoiled oil/butter taste. The ladies that work there are nice though.

The food is always fresh when I go. I got the cream cheese kings cake this morning at around 10 just late it at 7pm still fresh and soft. I just ordered my sons birthday cake.

The best tres leche cake with various flavors, simply delicious. Looking forward to going back and everything is priced very reasonable.
