Panama Joe's - Long Beach

The atmosphere is excellent, 4streets away from the beach. Parking in streets or pay the meter. Brunch drinks are great food is ok and overpriced. Chips and salsa are great: micheladas are bomb The service is t that great but my dog had fun watching me eat. Of course I fed her chips. The night atmosphere can get crazy. I don’t think it’s “ghetto” but it brings different ethnic people in. Love that. You can dance once the dance floor. And get some chips and salsa too. I think food ends at 11pm

The food was above average with good presentation. We sat in the bar area. It can get crowded. Service could be better. Parking is always a problem around there.

Had delicious lunch for 3 people. Best Tacos and burritos good portion fair price, good service especially for a beach area. We enjoyed our experience very much will come again

This is a restaurant that has a cool atmosphere with a Mexican theme. However, presentation and dishes are very americanized which is not bad but deviate from the original taste. Drink prices are reasonable and quality and food portions are right on target. Free Parking is hard to find so be prepared to pay for parking (around 5 dollars ) for all day. Customer service is friendly and courteous and the only complain I have is that there are flies flying around your plate throughout the meal which is annoying... I recommend this place if you are looking for a break during the week but if you are looking for the authentic Mexican taste you might want to try a different restaurant.

I was in last night, and service wasn't the best. My drink wasn't as described on the menu and wasn't very good either. A beer may have been a better choice? There was little to no service, but they seemed understaffed. The place looks awesome, and I was hoping for a better experience, but I was disappointed.

The bartenders were nice and the atmosphere seemed okay… until the manager came over to my party and asked to speak to one of my friends outside. He declined because it seemed suspicious. Turns out, my friend was getting kicked out because he got a seat from another table because he wanted to sit down. They did tell him to put the seat back and he did. We switched tables and sat with him and that’s when the manager came and wanted to speak with him. When he declined he finally said that he and only him was getting kicked out because of the whole seat situation. Really caused a scene because a seat💀 the manager is a loser and this place needs better, more mature management. I’ve done many reviews as you can see, this place is one you should avoid. Also the restrooms were disgusting

Great brunch selections!! It was so hard to choose between the chilaquiles or potato hash, but thankfully our waitress had their best recommendation ready. The potato hash was the perfect portion to enjoy alongside a margarita. The restaurant has a chill ambiance, and I really enjoyed seeing other guests bringing in their dogs to the patio. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and hope to visit again for dinner soon!
