Panchita - Miraflores

Friendly and quick service. Colorful and cool design, fun ambiance. Great food! The dishes are so big and rich that we could not eat more than half. We took the untouched food in a doggy bag and gave it to homeless persons we met on the street. Next time, we'll only order main dishes without appetizers.

I visited La Panchita three times on this trip. The first visit wasn’t great due to poor customer service and undercooked potatoes, though some items were good. The second visit was much better.great service and great food. On my third visit, the osobuco was dry, but the green spaghetti, chanfainita,ceviche,lomo saltado,arroz con pato, the ice cream and mazamorra morada with arroz con leche were amazing. I will definitely return, but customer service consistency still needs improvement.

This is one of Gaston Acurio's high end "comida criolla" food (Limeño/coast traditional food). I would say this is one of the best traditional Peruvian foods I have been to, but be prepared to pony up a pretty coin. Panchita is comparable to US restaurant prices do not be surprised to spend 40+ dollars per person at the end of your visit. I would say is well worth the price.. Atmosphere and service is fantastic, waiters go out of their way to please you. If it is your birthday they will bring a "cajon" and sing you happy birthday in a traditional Peruvian way. They may be even sing one or two Peruvian valses and ask you to dance with them...great experience. Nothing to complain about the food, very well seasoned and presented. I had the ossobucco with Papa Huancaina, just amazing, portions are big so be ready to bring a good appetite or better yet order a few plates and share the good. Pisco Sour was just average and expensive may be that was the lowest point of the visit. Highly recommended,

I've been here twice, and I would definitely go back. The portions are generous, and the taste is a solid 10 out of 10. If you want to try authentic Peruvian food, this is definitely the spot. I would suggest making reservations, as this place is always really busy. My favorite plate is for sure the lomo saltado!!

If you want to try traditional peruvian food for turistically acceptable price, come here. Portions are huge (we three people had 4 dishes and one of them was stater, we had hard time to finish them). Quality of food is excellent. If you are looking for posh fine dining, I would recommend other places. But if you want to have casual conversation with moderate noise (which in Peru is low noise, to be frank 😀) and very good food of generous portions i would come here again. We were fine with seating at the bar, but if you want a table, I strongly recommend to make reservation in advance.

Waited about 15 minutes to be seated as quite a number of persons were also waiting. Once seated, we were greeted by Caleb who also took our order until our assigned server was available. The beef soup was hearty and delicious- definitely recommend getting.

Beautiful, busy restaurant. Took us without a reservation but its mostly full so don’t push your luck and make reservations in advance. The portions are big, flavours are good. Friendly staff, a great time.

We had 4 dishes. One was good, 3 were average. We had huge expectations and were disappointed. Server was good, but all recommendations were a miss. We had lamb that tasted more like a chicken. Pork was interesting but way too fatty. Desert was too dry. Only liver was great. We spent 352 Sol, I can say it was that good for this price. I think this place is overrated.
