Google
Not the best. Ordered the California burrito and the friend fries. It was under filled, and with whatever filling it did have, the burrito appeared like it was folded sideways so it would be a full bite of one ingredient only. Had to open the burrito and mix it up. The fries were not crispy at all. I get it is a Mexican restaurant, but they weren’t great.

Google
Incredible!!! The food is fresh and reasonably priced. Clean inside and outside. Excellent customer service. This was the experience we were needing to get us back on the San Diego bandwagon. We got a few breakfast burritos, empanadas, donuts, Jamaica/Lemonade - 10s across the board.

Google
Love love love the breakfast burritos ((: the food is amazing and the staff are super friendly!

Google
I used to love going here my dad took me here as a kid but the past couple of time I have came they have messed up my order and I enjoyed going but I do have to say this will be the last time I will be going cause this time they didn’t even give me a whole croissant

Google
This spot I consider a gourmet Mexican restaurant. Very westernized restaurant. The Carna Asada Burrito I received has white rice in it. You get 2 small salsas per burrito. Extra .35 cents per salsa. Get the orange. Very spicy! Nice little seating area , in and outside. 12.95 for the Carne Asada Burrito.

Google
The staff here are so genuinely nice and friendly it’s both surprising and refreshing. We always get the vegan and breakfast burritos. Both SO delicious! Update: haven’t been here in months and forgot what I usually order and Jennifer, whom was working the drive through, was so genuinely friendly and helpful reminding me about some of their food and drink options. I’ll be back sooner than 6 months for sure bc the service is awesome

Google
Tacos are pretty good. Small but flavorful. Had better. Had worse but I don’t rate places on if everything hits the mark on my tastes since we all have different tastes. I rate restaurants on what they can control. Sauces are good. Outdoor patio is nice.

Google
OMG what a gem! We went to the Bakery first after reading reviews that conchas may be sold out, but SO glad we came to the Kitchen after! There were conchas ;) The woman at the register is a sweetheart with excellent service. The chilaquiles were PERFECTION! The soyrizo burrito was yummy. The concha and coffee were great too! Try it!
google avatar

Yelp
Some of the best Mexican food in San Diego hands down! My faves: chilaquiles (with the red sauce & egg), bean & cheese quesadilla & birria tacos & birria soup & their salsas are delish!
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
Coworker wanted to go here for a sweet treat. We all looked at the menu and I got the apple empanada. I took a piece and it was good. I heated it up it was even better. Someone else got the chicken tortilla soup. The strips came in a bag and they gave plenty. They only gave her one lime for soup and it was dry. But she enjoyed the soup, she said it was cheesy.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the cuerno, which was beautiful to look at but only ok taste-wise. Their organic coffee is delicious! Service was friendly, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
I found this hidden gem on Instagram, tucked away off University Ave in North Park, just off the 805 freeway. Drive slow, or you might miss the entrance to the drive-thru! The menu features a wide variety of options, from bacon & cheese breakfast burritos , turkey sausage & egg, and machaca breakfast burritos to empanadas, tacos, and tortas--all prepared quickly and fresh with quality ingredients. Did I mention, they're also have bakery items. We tried two breakfast burritos, just over $12 each, along with some churros. Everything was delicious. Each breakfast burrito comes with cheese and potatoes, in addition to the bacon and eggs. The portion sizes are modest, making it a great value. Customer service was average, but if you're looking for a solid breakfast burrito, definitely add this spot to your

Yelp
Excellent fresh Mex food been coming here a long time for a reason. The employees are like family and I always feel so welcome. I usually do not go on the weekends because it's always packed. I recently moved around the corner from it and couldn't find my pots and pans I was literally eating there everyday I think I've had almost everything on the menu. I will say I hate their potatoes. They're basically cut up little French fry pieces and their flavorless. The only time I include them in my order is if I'm getting the chorizo burrito because then it soaks up the chorizo grease and has flavor. Everything here is reasonably priced they have a great little patio and they're dog friendly.

Yelp
Vegan Burrito. 1st time. Vegan Burrito was so tasty. Vegan meat with veggies. The meat sauce was wonderful with a hint of spice. Huge Burrito for under $10. Restaurant super clean. Staff was very happy, polite and checked on me. I'll be back soon! BTW- I heard the manager tell a customer they use Skirt Steak in their Carne Asada and Steak Burrito. Wow! I miss eating skirt steak.

Yelp
I am laughing at the out-of-towners writing reviews here. I used to eat at Panchitas from time to time when they were in Golden Hill; I bought pastries for my husband there, too. Flash forward about 15 years and I find myself here for the first time. I was hungry, as it had been at least 14 hours since I last ate, and I needed to eat. I saw their banner that stated "Vegan Burritos," - so I went in and looked at their menu. I ordered the vegan burrito which is spinach, soyrizo, potatoes, black beans, avocados and onions. Lots of food for the price, and yes, I ate it all. I want to mention that their non-spicy green salsa is very delicious and paired nicely with my burrito. The inside is very cute and clean as well. I really liked the lady behind the counter who brought me my food. She was very cheerful and treated all the customers there very well. Great service! Great vegan and vegetarian choices, and they, of course, have a ton of choices for carnivores. I'll be back as I think their food is better than Ranchos Cocina.

Yelp
I have been here for breakfast a handful of times. It has always been consistently good and great service is provided by staff. Today's meal was a let down and I'm wondering if it was because they were busy on a Sunday morning. We ordered two breakfast items that contain chorizo. There was barely a hint of chorizo. The burrito and quesadilla mostly tasted of potatoes and eggs. I will be giving them a second chance in the hopes that it was just too busy and they forgot to add the meat.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow, great Cali burrito. I loved all the ingredients and quick drive thru service. Cali chicken is a great swap if you're trying to avoid red meat
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
I've never really had good chilaquiles until I had it here. Nice little cozy place and a mother like service from the staff! I need to come back and try some of their other stuff!

Yelp
This is currently one of my favorite places to eat in San Diego. Their burritos and tacos are delicious. Everything is cooked perfectly. For some people, it may be undersalted, so make sure you adjust to your preferences. But every morsel here is prepared with care and is super fresh. The customer service is amazing too, so if there is anything wrong with your order I would not hesitate to mention it to them. My kid once asked for a particular cookie, decided he didn't like it after the first bite, and they gave him a choice of a different pastry!! Not saying that will happen every time but that was above and beyond. I love the ambiance here inside or out. Outside is on a busy corner so can be hit or miss but the space they have control over is well curated. Amazing art pieces inside. Personal favorites are their breakfast burritos, fish tacos, horchata, chocolate glaze donuts, and hot chocolate.
google avatar

Gloria M.

Yelp
Cute little spot that's perfect for takeout. The menu has a good variety and their prices are good. The staff stays inside and you order through a window but they're always kind. The tacos were great but I didn't love the nachos fries because the fries were just not exactly cooked, the potatoes were hard. The salad was also delicious
google avatar

Arnold T.

Yelp
They have the BEST chilachiles. I don't even bother ordering chilachiles somewhere else as it would just lead to disappointment. It has some kick to it. And the chips are still somewhat crunchy after all that sauce goodness that they put in. I noticed that they have less bakery items.
google avatar

John N.

Yelp
Food tasted amazing, staff was friendly, place is very cute and has a drive through. Everyone had something different and everyone loved it. Only suggestion is cream for the coffee not coffee mate creamer.
google avatar

Evelyn D.

Yelp
I ordered drive thru here today for a late lunch. The chorizo and bacon were delicious! Portions were very generous too! Pricing is a little steep but worth it for the quality! Wish I had tried a pastry!

Yelp
When it comes to quick, convenient, and downright delicious Mexican food, Panchitas is my all-time favorite. I've been a loyal fan for nearly five years, and my go-to orders are their breakfast burritos. The drive-thru service is a cherry on top, making those busy mornings a whole lot easier. Now, let's talk burritos. The Chorizo Papa burrito is my soulmate. It's the perfect blend of chorizo, potatoes, and eggs all wrapped up snugly in a tortilla. And when I'm feeling extra hungry, I dive into the Barbacoa burrito with eggs and potatoes - a real breakfast powerhouse. But don't get me wrong; it's not just about breakfast. Panchitas nails the Carne Asada burritos and their Carne Asada fries are the stuff of dreams. They use steak wedges that are high-quality and mouthwateringly good. The star of these two items is definitely the juicy, tasty, high-quality steak. I've ventured into their taco territory too, which is decent, but it's those breakfast burritos that have my heart. For a satisfying and super-speedy Mexican fix, Panchitas is my top pick. Breakfast burritos and the drive-thru service - you won't regret it!

Yelp
The food is very delicious, had the chilaquiles and mollete, very classic dishes done well. Ended up ordering their savory empanadas to go.
google avatar

Yelp
Was walking around North Park early morning and decided to try panchitas as I had yet to try this local gem. Love that the menu has various options. You could choose to have your meal in either burrito or bowl form. Love that ! I ordered the chorizo, egg and potato burrito. It was a fatty burrito and tasted delicious. The potatoes seemed to have been a "house" type potatoes that had a crisp to them (good otherwise might get soggy in the burrito). I got the mild spicy salsa as I didn't want the salsa to overpower the burrito's flavors. A friend ordered the conchas and she said they were good. The cashier was patient with all my questions.

Yelp
Randomly stumbled upon this awesome authentic cute little Mexican spot. You can't sit inside, there is seating outside, and you can order from the window. We got the Pollo asado dinner plate, and it is delicious, fresh tortillas, fresh chicken, fresh guacamole, fresh beans, fresh everything! They have a little water stand for you to get water, and also a bakery where you can buy some amazing looking sweets. Get to the spot early, they run out of empanadas pretty quickly. If you're in the area, check it out you won't regret it!

Yelp
How does this place not have 5 stars? Food is soooo good you can taste the love they put into it. Service is great to. Everyone is so kind and the food comes out fast. Plus they have a drive thru!!! Everything I've had here is great. I highly recommend the chilaquiles. Cute seating outside to, I come here every chance I get.

Yelp
Small little place in North Park. Stayed at an Airbnb down the street. Stopped in for breakfast. Very nice staff. Attentive and friendly. Ordered the asada bowl. Looked kinda small for the price then realized it was all meat. Super tender and tasty. Will definitely return.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
I ordered my order by phone. The lady asked me five times what I kept saying about eggs over easy on my Chilaquiles. I got home and it was scrambled eggs. I never in my life had scrambled eggs with chilaquiles. I called and she said oh we had a lot of orders of chiliQuiles and they must've got mixed up. I said I want a full refund. It was 26 bucks. She said she was too busy right now and she'll call me back.
google avatar

René G.

Yelp
Excellent on time service in the best little Mexican restaurant in North Park. Jason is the store owner and will be happy to attend to your craving. Enjoy the artefacts. This is a Home-grown Mexican dish.
google avatar

Mal T.

Yelp
Love panchitas! I appreciate that they give you an option to make a breakfast burrito into a bowl. Service is amazing and everyone that's helped me has always been super kind. Also, their spicy salsa is actually super spicy and is one of my faves.
google avatar

Navy Blue L.

Yelp
We tried Panchitas again and remembered why we stopped going there for breakfast - the food is just not that good. We wanted to like it, but it's not great. The service is amazing though, ordering ahead is easy and the order was ready and right when we picked up. Unfortunately, the high price does not match the food quality.
google avatar

Yelp
My new favorite place, this place is delicious. Some of these other yelp reviews are questionable. I this place is great, amazing customer service. The Pollo asado burrito and the cheese bread are a must try! The drive thru is a plus.
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
I LOVED this place! I'm picky about my Mexican food, but I loved everything about this. I ordered the breakfast scramble, and all the flavors went very well together, and their beans were great. I rarely say that about places, but I actually thoroughly enjoyed the beans. Plus, the Oaxaca cheese was icing on the cake. I also ordered my favorite pan dulce, which is the chocochip cookie, and even that was perfect. The chocolate chips actually had a nice chocolaty flavor, and the cookie was fresh and soft. I ordered my husband a steak and egg burrito, and he noted the meat was nice and tender, and the burrito was flavorful. The only downside I really saw was that it's not a very spacious restaurant, so it's not a place you really want to sit and dine. It seemed most people went there for takeout. But it was worth it :)

Isa K.

Yelp
As the popularity seems to be raising with panchitas for its convenience and Mexican breakfast and sweets I decided to give it a try. I ordered a breakfast burrito and an horchata latte. The burrito is very flavorful but after a while it gets boring. It's lacking maybe like a chipotle sauce or something creamy. The horchata latte was made with real horchata nothing artificial it tasted like but it was very watery and I can tell they don't use real espresso. I didn't end up finishing my food or drink. The food and ingredients they use seem to be organic and good quality?

Lisa R.

Yelp
Compré una rosca horrible no pusieron ningún bebé se pasan waste of money/ I don't recommend the rosca
google avatar

Marie T.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed! Panchita's used to be part of the regular rotation for my family's dinner schedule. Now that they close at 2pm daily, that's no longer an option. We decided to get lunch there today and were notified that my beloved cheeseburger and fries have been removed from the menu. I know it's a Mexican food place but their cheeseburger with chilis on their house made sweet bun was so good! I didn't have a chance to ask about all of the recent changes. The menu still shows the burger so I don't know what else has been removed. Panchita's: please consider dinner hours, at least on Fridays and Saturdays.
google avatar

Kat M.

Yelp
The turkey sausage and potato breakfast burrito is my fav!!!! Also obsessed with their spicy hot sauce. The horchata is as well. The people who work there are the nicest too. 10/10 recommend!
google avatar

Iggy G.

Yelp
Best breakfast burrito in North Park! The bacon or the steak burritos are staples for my breakfast, and I can always count on them to be cheesy and loaded with potatoes and eggs.
google avatar

Alberto R.

Yelp
this morning was the very first time that went to this bakery and we ordered 2 bacon, egg and potato burritos but before we order them i checked on google the menu and i saw that the price was $7.75 but when we placed our order the burritos came out to be $9.25 so for both burritos we paid $19.93 with tax the burritos were excellent made to order salsas were great,so may ask why did i gave only 1 star it was for the fact that when i called to talk to the manager to congratulate them she only heard that even though everything was great the last part of the burrito was driping of grease like in the picture and the words of the employee that said she was the manager were that she was behind her product soi told her that she dident had to defend her self that this was a coment from a customer but she dident want to hear that part of my comment, she did not wanted to give me her name she said that they did not give their names i could see that she was not the real manager or if she was she must have been in training, so my whole reason for giving them that lonly 1 its because of the attitude of that manager wannabe, a word from the wise, when they give you a praise take it and say thank you and also say that you will look into that and !!!! say thank you !!!!!!!

Neila S.

Yelp
This place is by far the most underrated Mexican restaurant! The food is amazing and it's fast for those who don't want to wait. My favorite it's the drive thru with their cute menu. It's the perfect spot for Mexican fast food.
google avatar

Iain G.

Yelp
Panchita's is a solid option for lunch or breakfast! Best nopales veg burrito in San Diego hands down! Their breakfast burrito with bacon is epic too- Never had any issues and the food is good and clean and community supporting! Also their Salsas are fresh and spicy and homemade and delicious! Be careful with the habanero
google avatar

Edith A.

Yelp
Can I get coffee with my milk? This is supposed to be iced coffee.. Also, I had fallen in love with their tacos de birria but last time I had it there was almost no juice (consomé) with it and that's the best part!
google avatar

Ronnee B.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and it's still as good as day 1! I do prefer the savory items (burritos, tacos, nachos, etc) to the sweet (Donas, cookies, etc) Today got the vegan burrito, chorizo/potato/egg burrito, panchita empanada, empanada de Fresa (strawberry) and empanada de crema (cream) Vegan burrito is straight fireeeee! The BEST way to start your day! Complete with soy rizo and fresh greens *insert drool face*. The other breakfast burrito takes like what Abeula makes at home!! It's killer! And as always Panchitas empanada is one of the best around! Not too greasy, great flavor, Crispy. My suggestion is order 3 minimum
google avatar

Nikki V.

Yelp
The food is always fresh, made to order and service here is great. Nice outdoor patio. Love this restaurant, especially the chilaquiles verdes, chicken nachos and breakfast burritos.
google avatar

Michelle F.

Yelp
This Panchitas location is great! Pros: Drive thru You can order "pan dulce" in the drive thru Decent menu with a lot of options Cons: They take their time before even acknowledging that you are at the window. However, the breakfast burrito here is pretty good, and definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend checking out Panchitas in North Park for their breakfast burritos.
google avatar

Curt T.

Yelp
This place was really good got the vegan burrito and it didn't disappoint. Lots of good flavor and big. Their salsa is very good and flavorful also. One if the few places that when you want a spicy salsa it really is spicy!! I love spicy and this was one of the best. Their cheese cake was very delicious and creamy and not too sweet! Definetly a must try if you go here. I'd definetly be back and my neighbor which is vegetarian would love this place as they have alot of vegan/vegetarian options.

Ju Nae' G.

Yelp
As you can see, I couldn't wait to taste and it didn't disappoint. Went through the drive through and everyone was so nice! Service on point! We will be coming back. 500 pound life, here I come, this food is dangerously yummy! I also got a horchata and coffee mix. Run and get some food now!
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
I went here for breakfast one day. I called in my order and it was ready pretty quick. The iced coffee was just what I needed that day. I had a sugar donut and ordered the carne Asada plate (I was hungry). Everything was delicious! Service was great and everyone was friendly. They have a small area to sit inside and outside as well. They also have a drive thru window. I will be back again.
google avatar

Jenna H.

Yelp
I was wondering my California Chicken burrito had spinach in it (puke!) after looking on the menu I saw they must have given me the wrong burrito. She even verified my order at the window because I almost got two carne asada burritos.... Just don't go here, choose somewhere else. They don't even give out receipts which I usually don't need, but definitely do if my order is wrong. See the pic for what was given to me opened up.
google avatar

Arielle T.

Yelp
Love the vegan options, everything in the vegan burrito and bowl was fresh and the staff is so friendly!

Joseph G.

Yelp
Great nopales (cactus) and egg breakfast burritos!! Nice atmosphere and location for breakfast in North Park.

Jazmine M.

Yelp
We ended up coming here because we saw the vegan sign & no regrets! It was really good! We got a soyrizo breakfast burrito and it was DELICIOUS! This place was such a cute little spot
google avatar

Kinsee M.

Yelp
Best vegan burrito in all of San Diego. This is not fast food, though, so call ahead to order if you're in a hurry.
google avatar

Jessy S.

Yelp
I just got the chilaquiles for the first time, and let me just say, chef's kiss! I got the verde salsa and damn nearly drank the remainder its so good. The horchata was also fire, finally real aqua fresca not from a machine! Funny to see some reviews complaining about the food being scorching hot people will complain about anything. I very much appreciated the food was fresh and hot! Absolutely delicious I can't wait to try more items now and I'm happy I finally came here!!
google avatar

Halina D.

Yelp
This was my first time eating at this restaurant and let me tell you it did not disappoint! The birria is one of the best I've tried in San Diego. I honestly didn't have high hopes for it, but man! It was delicious! The place itself is cute! Unfortunately, when I went there was wind and it was cold on the patio! The workers in the back were nice! They also have a drive through and I will definitely be coming to Panchitas in North Park again!
