At the Issaquah farmers market. We had the pork belly and noodle plate. The portion was great with some fried rice on the side. The pork belly was very delicious.

Google
The owner was generous enough to offer samples, and we ended up liking everything so much we had to go with the sampler combo. Everything was packed with flavor and fragrance, the Lotus Leaf Sticky Rice especially, and the homemade strawberry lemonade was also incredibly fresh and delicious on a warm day. Overall, absolutely one of the best food trucks I have experienced at the Market.

Google
WOW!!!! Best dim sum I’ve ever had and that’s saying something - I’ve tried a ton of places in many cities as it’s one of my favorite foods. I had Panda Dim Sum last weekend at the Lunar New Year event and was seriously impressed by how fast they got fresh, incredible plates out with a line of 40+ people. The owners were sweet and accommodating too and even gave me extra noodles. Counting down the days until they open back up in the Spring! Not sure if they cater for private events but if I ever have one, they’d be my first call.

Jourdan H.

Google
One of the very best food trucks in Seattle. The food tastes like a hug — homemade with care and attention to detail. I love that I’m picking bay leaf and whole cloves out of the Chinese sausage fried rice. Burning my tongue on the bao is a privilege. The owners also couldn’t be sweeter. I will legitimately put Panda Dim Sum on my calendar and make a point to go for dinner whenever they’re nearby. You should, too. 11 stars.

Google
Excellent food and friendly service. I had low expectations based on the exterior appearance of the food truck, but was blown away with how delicious the food was. Everything was great, but what stood out was the two meat plate. It was a huge portion for the price, the pork belly was tender and flavorful, the chicken was nicely flame grilled, and the noodles were very tasty. I would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Lisa F.

Google
The NICEST owners with delicious food offerings and the BEST housemade chile oil I've ever had (now a stable condiment in my kitchen). Complimentary tastings with generous portions. I follow Panda and plan my schedule around their events. An all around awesome experience!!!

Brett S.

Google
We had the opportunity to try the Panda Dim Sum Food Truck while trying a couple of local breweries. Everything we had was delicious! The owner was very friendly and he piled plenty of food on the plate. We would certainly return!

Google
I would give 0 star if I could. Today I simply asked the cashier if the truck would still be here in 20 minutes as I wanted to come back and order later. The cashier was beyond rude and acted like “why are you even here if you aren’t ordering now?” Poor customer service and I would not be patronizing this place, ever.

Yelp
Tried them at the Everett farmers market and the lady is so sweet and kind she had great customer service. She offered people little samples of dishes and drink even if you were at the back of the line. I sampled the passion fruit tea and ended up ordering it because it has no added sugar with perfect but of bitterness from the tea without the acidity. The fried mochi balls/jing dui were the best ones I've had yet! I feel like small ones are hard to perfect but this was so crispy on the exterior, not overly oily, perfectly sweetened and balanced by the nuttiness of the sesame seeds. The shu mai was also top tier as it was packed with so much pork and shrimp, no fillers detected like flour or anything! So juicy and flavorful and paired excellent with the Lao gan ma-like chili oil they provided. I hope they come to farmer markets closer to Seattle!

Yelp
Dim Sum out of a food truck? Say less! Panda Dim Sum is a food truck that appears at different pop-up locations throughout Seattle. We happened to catch them at Lucky Envelope Brewery. We ordered the #3 Happy Meal Combo which gives a sampler of dim sum items + sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves. Everything was traditional and tasted good. The food arrived hot and spring rolls crispy. The price was decent for the items received. The wait was quite long and we were standing outside in the cold rain. Obviously, since it is a food truck, seating and parking cannot really be described. I'd still personally rather eat my dim sum at a real restaurant, but this is a decent alternative when that isn't available.

Yelp
Some friends and I got to try this truck's food at Lucky Envelope Brewing and loved it! As a Chinese person I wasn't sure I'd like dim sum from a truck, but their food was delicious and even the chow mein was loaded with veggies and felt healthy. The sesame balls with red bean filling are some of my favorite I've ever had. The people that run this truck are SO lovely.

Yelp
I had a craving for dim sum but going to a traditional restaurant alone can be a little awkward. So as an alternative, I searched for take out options. Panda Dim Sum came out and I thought I would take a try. I came around 1PM not knowing the market decided to close early due to all the smoke from the forest fires. Luckily, the nice gentleman running the truck still took my order and had enough to make me a Big Meal order. It came with some spring rolls, sesame balls, a bbq pork bao, potstickers, and siumai. All over a bed of fried noodles. The food was still hot and there was a lot of it! Their house hot sauce was also really good and complimented everything in the platter. Overall, for a quick dim sum fix and being served from a good truck, I thought it was good and worthwhile to try if you ever see it around!

Yelp
Food is delicious! Yummy dim sum in a food truck! Super friendly service. The food is as good as a restaurant dim sum experience.
google avatar

Lesley D.

Yelp
Dim Sum Panda offers high quality dim sum and reasonable prices. If this food truck is in your neighborhood, GO! Be prepared to wait +45 minutes but plan for it and go anyway! You can pre-order online, but there is just one line for both walk-ups and pre-orders so it really doesn't save you any time. I think it helps the owners understand what they need to be prepared for though so its a nice courtesy and it makes checkout faster. The Lo Mein was just average but that was the only thing that didnt leave an impression on me. The Siu Mai and the Har Gow were out of this world. The spring rolls were really tasty as well. Pros High quality dim sum Fair prices Cons Long wait, even if you order in advance, but they are popular for a reason!

Yelp
Got Panda Dim Sun from the food truck because it was the most convenient option while at the Ballard breweries. This dish was tasty - however I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting when I ordered. This was the Sampler Platter, and it was perfect to snack on while drinking a beer from Stoup Brewing in Ballard. The food truck had ran out of a lot of the options, so there was not many menu items to choose from. The workers were very friendly though.
google avatar

Alice L.

Yelp
Super friendly food truck with regulars going back weekly to follow the truck's schedule. The food is heavier comfort food, and they give you plenty for extras. It makes for about 2 meals! Unfortunately they run out of food quickly but give you extra substitutes and replacements, which everyone is happy enough with.
google avatar

Sig C.

Yelp
Love it as a food truck for a brewery, but to be honest, some of our pot stickers and shrimp dumplings were broken, which wasn't exactly what we were looking for and could be improved as a dim sum place.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
We visited the Panda Dim Sun food truck for the first time while it was at our local brewery today. It. Was. So. Good. I've only had dim sum a couple times before and this made me question why I haven't had it more, haha! We waited a little bit to order and get our food, but given that it was just one (very nice) woman running the truck, a bit of a wait makes sense. It was absolutely worth it though. It's hard to choose one favorite food item, but if I had to, the pork bun might be it. You've gotta try the chili oil as well.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
Such a cute food... bus? Food is served out of a refurbished school bus and they have an AED inside. Safety first! Everything I tried was delicious but I'd definitely recommend the har gow and you absolutely must have the chili oil. I ended up buying an entire jar.
google avatar

Rohan K.

Yelp
Stopped by at the Issaquah Farmer's Market. The Hum Bao was fantastic. Soft, hot and fresh, well stuffed and delicious. The Har Gao was not bad and would have been nice fresh and hot, but unfortunately there were cold and had clearly been sitting a while. The Shu Mai was mehhh. It was cold too and the wrapper was pretty ripped and the filling okayish. The chili oil really helped. Overall, the dimsum would clearly be fantastic when hot and fresh but once they have been sitting a while, kinda meh. I didn't find it worth the price at the market because of that.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Tried them at the Everett farmers market. They're alright but I think they could have used more assistance at the market. The siu mai was full of meat and quite hearty. The steamed bun had more bun than filling. It left me wanting more, but the bbq pork inside was pretty yummy. Just wished there was more.

Yelp
This review is filled with so much ups and downs I wasn't sure how rate it... Downs: 1) food truck was supposed to arrive at 4pm, but it was late so didn't arrive until around 415. 2) there was only 1 person working the food truck (the lady) and she didn't know how to use the generator or anything else besides cooking the food. One of the customer have to help her and talked to her husband via phone. 3) there was no substitution allowed on any of the mixed platters. 4) with everything, it took us almost an hour to get our food. There was definitely a line of people. Ups: 4) she felt bad that we wait and gave us all a piece of the ribs to try and that was really good. 5) the food that we got was pretty good and portion was generous. It is on par with restaurant level dim sum. We got the platter which came with 2 of har how, sui Mai, veggie egg roll, potstickers, and one sticky rice wrap. We also got a dish veggie lo mein. Favorite was the sticky rice and the sui Mai for sure. 6) the way she talk reminds me of my mom and not business like at all and she is very considerate of everything. Overall, its a unique food truck and the food was good.

Yelp
Panda Dim Sum was parked outside Lucky Envelope Brewing, and I knew I had to give it a try! They have lots of dim sum combo options in the $12 range that come with ~8 pieces of dim sum (siu mai, ha gou, spring rolls, sesame balls, etc) and lo mein / sticky rice. The line was a bit long and slow moving when I went, but as soon as I ordered my food was done within a few minutes. The food came out fresh and hot. Yummy yummy, boy did this hit the spot!

Yelp
Tasty and reasonably priced dim sum! Came upon Panda Dim Sum at the Issaquah Farmers Market and was drawn by the large crowd waiting in line - and now I see why! We ordered the sampler plate and everything was fresh and delicious. The older couple running the show are friendly, generous and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Amazing food and great service that deserves more than 5 stars. We've had their food a couple of times and we love it all, specially their Hom Bao, Har Gow, and Shumai. One of the reason we keep "chasing" Panda Dim Sum is because they make their own organic chili bean paste. It tastes GREAT.It has a savory, nutty flavor with some spiciness to it( it is highly recommended) Lastly, we have to mention the sweet couple running the food truck, they love to feed everyone, you can tell they really cares about their food and their customers.
google avatar

Lee L.

Yelp
I usually don't eat from food trucks mainly because of they're expensive and not filling for food from a roach coach. First, I was very warmly greeted by the lady working the food bus who quickly gave me a sample Har-Gow made with some obvious whole shrimp. The cheap places will blend shrimp with more filler that is obvious to a shrimp lover. I had the Dim Sum sampler which comes with 2 of each popular dim sum as well as a steamy hum bao that was deliciously fluffy. Since they were closing, I got some extra scoops of chow mein on the side with homemade hot sauce that brought me back to This Asian Guy's loving childhood. A definite food truck to hit up if ever in the Seattle area!

Yelp
I'm so glad I decided to eat this for dinner! I was craving both the lotus leaf rice and dim sum, so I picked the Dim Sum Happy Meal. For just $13, the plate comes with eight pieces of assorted dim sum (two chicken potstickers, two veggie egg rolls, two shrimp har gao, and two pork and shrimp shumai), a BBQ pork bun, a sticky rice lotus leaf wrap, and a red bean sesame ball. Absolutely flavorsome, and everything was freshly cooked with piping hot steam rising up. And don't forget to bring cash!
google avatar

Kiana C.

Yelp
Visited the food truck at Lucky Envelope brewing in Ballard! The food was very good, and a great price. For $23 I got enough lo mein and assorted dim sum to feed 2 people! Such a good deal. The staff were so nice - the people operating the food truck were an old woman and man. Both very pleasant to have conversation with, patient, and kind. The highlights for me were the veggie lo mein, the bao bun, and the sticky sesame balls. The more traditional dim sum items like siu mai and har gow were pretty good, but not as good as in a sit down dim sum restaurant. Regardless, the food was delicious and filling - 10/10 will be returning! Forgot to take a pic because it was so good.
google avatar

JT T.

Yelp
This is a food truck in a converted short school bus! The man who runs it is super nice; my understanding is that he and his wife make the food themselves. Prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. Everything comes out fresh and piping hot. Very much worth a visit if you get a chance!
google avatar

Jesena M.

Yelp
Great little food truck with very sweet owners. We loved their dim sum sampler, nice and juicy. They also had a soup of the day which was awesome, great flavors with a hint of spice. The only tiny complaint was the bun, could use a bit more filling to offset the dough ratio. We will be back.

Nimmi O.

Yelp
The food is sooo good . The lo mein tastes so unique and different from the regular .. just amazing . The sesame balls had just the right amount of redbean .. absolutely yum. Also got the veg dumplings .. tasted very good .
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Awesome dim sum at reasonable prices. I like the combo varieties offered and everything was cooked fresh / tasted great. The potstickers and har gow especially stood out. The food comes out quicker than expected. The truck is always moving so make sure to check out the panda dim sum website for exact location and times.
google avatar

Mandy M.

Yelp
Hot steamy dim sum on a cold wet Seattle day! The couple who run the truck is super friendly. Support small local business and give this food truck a try!
google avatar

Mandy T.

Yelp
I remember trying Panda Dim Sum Food Truck in the Ballard brewery area and the lady running the show had a last minute call out, so she was alone. I was happy to see everyone being super patient with her. She treated everyone so friendly, even though it was very busy for her. Other reviews mention her Asian momma vibes and it's true. She made sure I left with hella extra food LOL. She was talking about how long it took her to marinate these salmon fillets she was selling that day and I just had to buy extra food from this woman. She kept the salmon fillets in the vacuum sealed bag for me so I can cook it at home LOL. Food is delicious too. This food truck is my first choice anytime it's around

Christy P.

Yelp
Big hearted people. I came to lucky envelope on Lunar New Year's Eve where they were parked. Towards closing, the Panda Dim Sum owners offered everyone free food. The food was delicious and warm. I hope their abundance comes back to them tenfold and I would definitely buy a big meal in the future. Plus how they're a school bus is so cute.

Judy S.

Yelp
I am a self proclaimed dim sum connoisseur and this is quite honestly the best dim sum I've ever had. I've had dim sum in LA, the OC, and SF but the authenticity and care in this food blows all the competition out of the water. This food truck is ran by an amazing team whose pride and love for the cuisine did not go unnoticed. I will be hunting down the next stop and order TWO plates to go!!
google avatar

Tony L.

Yelp
We LOVE Panda Dim Sum. They have come to the Ballard area a few times since we found out about them and we've gone every time! The couple who run it are super nice and really want to take care of you. They'll suggest things if you don't know the food very well. Or try a sampler and you can't go wrong. We love the soup that is often available and off menu. It's a whole meal unto itself! The Hum Bao, Potstickers, Lo Mein, mmmmmm, all fantastic. I'm making myself hungry. Highly recommended!

Norma F.

Yelp
My friend and I got dinner at Panda Dim Sum while they were parked at Lucky Envelope brewing for the Lunar New Year. The food was great and the proprietors were so friendly! I got the cheung fun (spelling from memory), which was chewy rice cake noodles with tofu and veggies. The sauce was fragrant with five spice. Yum! And the shrimp har gow hit the spot. I'll be following this truck's whereabouts from now on.
google avatar

Janet S.

Yelp
Had a chance to try their food when they were at Post Doc Brewing in Redmond. We tried the lo mein and a sampler plate - great value for $23. Everything was so good, I already have calendar reminders for the next times they are near me.
google avatar

Gene-Allen M.

Yelp
It was so fresh. So crisp, or so perfectly steamed. Depending on what you ordered, it came out how you knew it should! I haven't had this clean, and flavorful authentic dim sum in years! I loved the lady in the window. She was sweet. I asked if they used Fish sauce in anything, and her response was.. "Ohhhh! No! Fish Sauce is bad for my health! I don't use it!" We're already planning our putting to find this truck again. The prices were so greatly reasonable that we walked away with a buffet to go.
google avatar

J K.

Yelp
Highly recommend the har gow (shrimp dumpling), shu mai, the sticky rice lotus wrap, and sesame balls. The har gow is SO GOOD! The lady running the truck said she makes them fresh with jumbo sized shrimp --- no wonder they are so good. She also makes the shu mai herself too! The ladies took care to make sure everything is fresh and hot. We got the dim sum platter, sesame balls, and sticky rice lotus wrap and we LOVED everything! The lotus wrap is fragrant and delicious. I'm from Hong Kong and the food really reminds me of home. Also, the ladies running the truck are just such nice people!

Madeline W.

Yelp
Talk about the nicest people in Seattle! Had the best time chatting with the woman taking orders and making food, with her constantly giving me freebie tastes of what she was preparing. Food was just what you need on a late night. 10/10!
google avatar

Jen P.

Yelp
This was the truck at Reuben's today - all the food was delicious and I've never seen anyone work so hard AND be so nice at the same time. We tried the har gau, shu mai, veggie dumplings, veggie noodles, egg rolls and sesame balls. All good. (The veggie noodles were AMAZING.)
google avatar

Joy T.

Yelp
The best har gow (shrimp dumplings) in all of Washington!!! The food here is delicious and authentic. The people running the truck are some of the nicest people you could meet. If you ever see this amazing school bus around town do yourself a favor and pickup some noodles or dumplings, you won't regret it.
google avatar

Jeremy P.

Yelp
My wife and I eat here regularly, with the sticky rice lotus wrap and crab Rangoon being our favorite. We usually split one of their platters and an order of crab Rangoon and almost always end up with leftovers to take home. Highly recommended!

Nicky C.

Yelp
Loved everything that we ordered from them! We ordered the happy meal dim sum, braised chicken noodle/rice combo, and an extra order of Har Gow. It was a cold snowy night and the food truck was busy but the owners were super friendly and were quick to engage in conversation. I definitely recommend folks to order from Panda Dim Sum to experience tasty dim sum from a food truck. Fun fact: they operate out of an old school bus!
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
I always visit the Panda dimsum food booth at the Salmon Days festivals in Issaquah. I recently found out they have a food truck and made sure to stop by when they were in town. I usually get the happy meal platter because I like having a variety of food. My dimsum cravings are always satisfied and it's a perfect fix for when you can't find a small group of friends to go out to dimsum in restaurants, or during Covid
google avatar

Lily X.

Yelp
Wow the dim sum is so good. Had them tonight on Finn Hill and just so good all around. If they are in your neighborhood you better check them out. The line tonight was so long!
google avatar

Christoph A.

Yelp
Amazing food and customer service. I had the shrimp har gao along with ribs and wasn't disappointed. I appreciate what they could produce out of the bus.

anamaria m.

Yelp
This is a lovely "Mom&Pop Shop", which gives amazing service & even better food. I ordered the Dim Sum Happy Meal and for $13 got a large variety of dumplings & sweets which tasted like made from scratch. Some of the dumplings were not ready yet, but the owner saw my absolute look of hunger and gave me what he had on hand, only to come back 15 minutes later with the rest. Also, the other chef walked around and gave every one on the street steaming hot sesame balls as it was the end of their workday. This was hands down my favorite experience with a food truck, I highly recommend them.
google avatar

Myrna B.

Yelp
Was drawn to their food whole enjoying some beer at urban family beer company. The service was fast and the food was comforting! You will not regret it!
google avatar

Yelp
Super nice people. The food is good, especially the homemade items like the dumplings and the rice packets.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food truck at the brewery today. They were super nice and the crab rangoon was amazing.

Kelsey L.

Yelp
One of our favorite food trucks! Great food and service. We always have a positive experience and go back frequently!
google avatar

Josh V.

Yelp
We ate at Panda Dim Sum truck outside of Chuck's Hop Shop and it was fantastic. Great service and definitely affordable for the amount of portions you get. Delectable! The braised chicken was sublime!
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
We found this food truck at Black Raven - the sesame buns and pork buns were some of the best I've ever had! Everything was delicious, and the staff running the truck were so friendly. We got the big meal sampler platter and were not disappointed. Next time I'll order my favorites a la cart!
google avatar

Alexis F.

Yelp
Don't drive to this food truck! They weren't there and didn't answer their phone! (I definitely read the schedule correctly and drove to the right place during the right time)
