Panda Express

Food was always piping hot and delicious for this Panda Express outlet. Highly recommend the green beans with chicken if you don’t like the deep fried Orange Chicken. Otherwise, other menu were also delicious since it’s always crowded. The staffs are very friendly too.

Quick flavorful entrées. Portions are reasonable for price. IMO, Chinese Fortune Cookie tasted old and stale. Everything else was fast, and the dining area was clean.

We came here around 9pm July 24th, 2025! (I am leaving the date and time so hopefully a manger sees this and acknowledged this particular crew!) There is alot of younger people working here and I have to say that I am IMPRESSED! All of them were kind, respectful, and efficient! We ordered 8 plates of food and they were done serving all 8 up within 5 min!! Way to go guys!! Thank you for the great experience!

Placed the order online get it missing one of the kids meals call back an let them know then they give us this. Never been so disappointed with a restaurant

We go here often when we don’t want to cook dinner. And it is delicious every time. There’s definitely some weird stuff going on as far as how they keep food warm before they put it upfront but other than that pretty good.

I do not blame the staff for having computer issues. However the problem is that so many were served ahead of everyone who placed an online order. The fact it took me over 30 min while in the store to get our food was upsetting. I have worked in restaurants. Your staff could have called each order to explain there’s a delay. If it wasn’t able to be seen get it. But then corporate owes many of us who ordered Friday even a HUGE apology. The staff was doing the best that they could. But when a line of people who came in after me leave before me it is beyond upsetting. Not to mention orders weren’t even being boxed till people showed up. No hate to the staff but this is more so on corporate at this point in my eyes.

Food was horrible. The vegetables were mushy in the kung Pao, it had been sitting for hours. I waited 10 minutes for orange chicken for one of the entries and the box was barely half full. When I told her I didn't want to wait she said someone is already waiting so you have to wait behind them anyway.

The Kung Pao Chicken was great. I got the bowl. I tried to tell the young man not to many lo mein noodles, and he filled it up. They had no flavor. They also don't have knives (plastic, I mean) . The Kung Pao truly was good, and so was the egg roll. My friend got the Sweet and Sour and like mine chicken it was very tender.

Had lunch here yesterday and by 6 pm I was sick as a dog with food poisoning, up all night puking from both ends. NEVER AGAIN!

Real quick: In my Humble Opinion @pandaexpress Abilene Tx 3 stars I'd never been to a Panda Express before this day. 02/25/2023 Turns out- it's okay. Moderate selection. But decent portion size and quality and price. Not sure if I would recommend it over the spot in the mall... who knows. Now I have to go to the spot in the mall. And the local Panda Express. Compare notes. Curb appeal is basic. Dining room was bright and clean.

Served raw chicken last night. It was the peppered chicken. I was very sick the past 12 hours. I sent to corporate and no one reached out.

When the women are on duty, they get the job done right. But the men? Yeah! They could use a lesson on manners and customer service.

Close in one hour but can't make what you want instead they want you to eat what is old and out smh need to improve on service as well very rude I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! Did not want to rate a star but I have to in order to post

Nastiest food ever! Ordered teriyaki chicken no teriyaki sauce! Broccoli beef only one piece of beef and 8 pieces of over cooked moosh they call broccoli with no brown sauce at all completely dry! Rice disgusting egg rolls tasted like inside was cooked last week NEVER AGAIN! 14.00 fro a 2 plate and 2 egg rolls all in the trash!

This place deserves more stars if the number of dine-in and drive-thru customers is any indication for Sun lunch. There was a constant stream of hungry friends and families many I suspect like use make our way east and west on the interstate. There are not many good places too eat close to interstate between Odessa and Weatherford. The staff was very busy and took care of requests quickly. We have eaten here several times in the past and will again next time going along interstate from east/west.

This place is hopping. Yes, there's a line out the door to order inside and there's a line in the drive thru, but there's no way more people could get more done, because they would be tripping over each other. No one is slacking on their job,it's just that popular. So I give them a break. Only people complaining about the wait are the ones not paying attention. Only reason I took away a star is because they could use 1 more person to primarily clean the dining area.

By fwr and away have no idea how to treat people or make food. This is my second complaint (first one got me a black cerd 4 years ago). I am not looking for free food but just to save my locals time. I came in Friday night st 8:45pm on 9-8 and asked for shrimp and was told "naw man, get yourself togother as its gone by 7pm". Wtf . Ibwork , sorry. Didnt know i had to be in at a certain time to get what I like. Its been 4 years and It wont be again.

HORRIBLE!!! Gave chow mein with NO seasoning just plain noodles that were terrible. I ordered two plates NEITHER had any seasoning on the noodles. They also had barely any portion of orange chicken after ordering double orange. Very angry.

Has to be the sorriest excuse for a restaurant I have ever been in. For the third time in the last 2 weeks,they have been out of the entrees I wanted. They are not smart enough to get the cook to start a refill when they are getting low. Today they were out of chow mien noodles, orange chicken and black pepper chicken. These have to be the most inept employees managed by the stupidest manager I have ever come across. I will NEVER walk back in this m/f

disgusting. didn't even deserve one star, food was cold and we found CHUNKS of hair in our food... the food was bland and not seasoned well, the hair was cooked into our food and it was overall disgusting and would not reccomend here in abilene, service was horrible and all co workers had attitudes, they were short staffed and did not even bother to get on task. i will never be coming here again.

Great food as usual. Very reasonable price, large portions. My go-to when I am traveling.

Food was just ok. I told her it was to eat in, 3 times, packed it to go. Chicken egg rolls are awful! Mango Tea was old!

The worst Panda Express I've ever had! The amount of food they gave us was ridiculous. And the orange chicken I had was so bitter. It was a waste of money and time. So much for being excited cuz it's been awhile. Never ever again. I don't not recommend this panda at all even if it was the last food place in town!

My husband and I ordered Panda Express through DoorDash and wouldn't you know it, the door dasher picked up the wrong order. Well one call to panda to see if they had it and they did. They remade our order at no extra cost to me and my husband. We had ordered $60 worth of food and got someone's $20 order and they remade it for us. 10/10 for customer service.

I was told to go in which I am hard of hearing/deaf and can't understand through the speaker and demanded me to go inside which I have the rights to order the drive through. Which I asked can I go to window to order. Said no front of my hearing son. So I find this is Discrimination of my rights! Due of cov-19 safety. Voilated the ada law. I will not return this place. I left and didn't order anything. I'm very disappointed. Chicken Express did let me go to drive through window and made communication easier! Panda Express failed.

Not high expectations for fast food. Also realize a pandemic is tough time for restaurants. But portion size is an easy fix. This was supposed to be a *double* serving of beef & broccoli. If you're almost out of something just say so, don't give a tiny serving! Update: corporate contacted me & offered a complimentary meal. So, that's a nice save! Thanks.

Ok. They were busy. But expect that on a Friday night. Right? I'll just go ahead and get the bad out of the way first. We were rushed. Plain and simple. The gentleman making our plates had no patience whatsoever. Yes there was a long line. There were cars in drive thru. But guess what! They are going to be there no matter what so you may as well take advantage of the business (because you are blessed enough to have it) and take care of the guests you have. Ok. (And as busy as this place gets you should definitely have someone assigned to constantly cleaning the dining area. Didn't see a single person doing it). The good. The employees were being kind to each other. That's an amazing thing in itself. The food was DE-licious!! I saw the honey shrimp and thought oh gosh! That looks so dried out. The guy wHo rushed me did agree to make my plate last so I could have the fresh that was coming up. So I kinda forgave him. Overall when we are back in town we will visit again.

I had to choose one star to post my review. We ordered our meal. Then tried to find a clean table. There were plenty of empty tables, but they were all dirty. We had to ask someone to wipe off the table. There were no utensils or straws available. The floor was nasty. The trash cans were overflowing. I can only imagine what the restroom looked like. There were 7 employees there. If you want to eat there, you should go through the drive-thru.

Loved my experience here, the staff was super friendly and helpful and my food was great. I got the 2 entree plate with Sweetfire Chicken Breast and Beijing Beef, with chow mein. It was absolutely delicious and at a great price. My receipt included a survey to give feedback and also attain a free entree item on my next visit (love places that do this - they ensure ill be back!) The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the parking lot was quite a disaster. There seems to only be one way in and out and the drive through line of vehicles blocks people trying to enter/exit. It took me at least 10 minutes to leave the parking lot due to waiting for drive through cars to move so that myself and others could slowly squeeze our way out.

Food was ok, portions were kinda skimpy but I didn't mind but the place was a wreck. It wasn't busy when we got there so maybe we came after a rush? Tables were dirty and the floors look like a pack of unsupervised toddlers were having free time. Floor had crazy amount of napkins every where and the wet floor signs were posted but I could not be sure they had been wet...maybe they were wet an hr prior. Crew seemed friendly. And the bldg looked brand new so I guess the contrast of the inside was made that much more noticeable. Didn't have steamed veggies but was told it would be made fresh in 15 min but she came with veggies in 5 min so that was nice!

Waited 45 minutes for an online order. They had to substitute ever entree on my order. Terrible service and food.

Update, kids kept begging to try again so I called and the truck had arrived that morning with the Beijing Beef so we drove over against my better judgement. BB was great as always but the chow mein was crunchy and loaded with large pieces of cabbage. The broccoli beef was disgusting, broccoli was dried out & the "beef" was gray. I assumed this was leftover from the night before. Do yourself a favor & avoid this location...very poorly ran.

Walked in and Thomas was great , was welcomed with a nice and warm smile !! Told them I never ate here before and Thomas showed me the way there business works rice is moist so that's good orange chicken is very recommended !! the broccoli and beef is okay but somewhat has a watery flavor to it . Giving them 5 stars because of Thomas and other employees !! Great costumer service is hard to find , specially in times like now !

Came here and they ran out of white rice and steamed veggies. When I asked for a bowl, they was completely out and had to give me food in a togo. They was also completely out of medium size cups. And their fried rice is so bland, taste like im eating white rice with veggies. At least their water taste great.

I had gotten the orange chicken with noodles and fried rice. I really enjoyed the chicken and noodles very much. I will be back.

would give zero stars if i could. they close at 10:30 apparently yet had their doors locked at 9:15. no drive thru either. absurd as thats plenty of time for someone to make a singular order. change your times if you wish to close sooner

Very good. Fast food. Sometimes rice is undercooked. But overall it's good. Their teriyaki chicken is the best. I like the Abilene and benbrook location. I think it is reasonably priced. I would recommend.

This Panda Express is great. Only odd thing is that they never have string bean chicken which I've never seen at any other panda. Must be popular? Don't know. At least every time I order it they make it fresh which I love. The manager is always helpful!

Staff is amazing but the food quality is horrible, we've been coming to panda since they opened it used to be amazing but for example the rice and noodles is hard and dry we hoped for better very disappointed, unless the quality gets better we won't be coming back

Just went thru the drive thru and they said the fryer was down! We asked for Teriyaki chicken and Mushroom Chicken.... neither is fried!! She said all we have is Orange Chicken.... hmm that's fried!! So basically bc it's 9:40 you don't want to cook anything and you shut the fryer down early!! Definitely lost my business!!

we travel through here every two weeks and always stop at Panda Express for our lunch on the way home. This time was horrible. From now on I will go anywhere else but there. The cashier Rayne was pushy on the speaker (way before we even made it to the window) While at the window she chose to argue with us over condiments. Decided to close the window on us in the middle of the conversation. Rude people should not work in the food industry. Let alone the public

I love Panda Express! I never get an upset stomach like I do with other Chinese restaurants. I really like the greens mix to keep it healthier.

Teresa was very kind and was smiling at me the whole time. She seemed like she loved her job and definitely is a person that I recommend that provides amazing service. The restaurant was clean and I was able to get my food fast. I loved the manager too. Will come back

Well, with all the bad reviews, I still wanted to try this place. First visit, they didn't impress me, but I will try again. I did like the orange chicken, but the other two were only ok( I don't even remember what I got). I didn't try the rice, but the mixed veggies were way undercooked. Hard as a rock. Next time, I'll stick with the orange chicken and try the rice. Abilene has too many Chinese options to serve extremely so-so food. Good luck guys!

We went in at 3:33 pm on a Monday they had no business and 4 or 5 people standing around and made us wait. We left. Rude people.

I had this image in my head and told myself "man I can't wait to get some panda express." Haven't had it since I lived in SoCal. Behind the window, the food looked dry. I ordered the walnut shrimp and orange chicken with chow mein. The walnut shrimp was a waste of money, breading was falling apart. I wish I took my $10 spent at panda and just made it at home. The chow mein, dry. Noodles looked a bit stiff. Never going back here again.

The chicken was very old and mushy. The noodle are very hard. Very disappointing in the service from the crew also.

Ridiculous I was the only person in line when I came in I was waiting on fried rice that was almost done and instead of waiting to make the 4 people behind me food they made theirs before my order so then I had to wait on orange chicken instead of them waiting. I was there first! Their is organization is messed up. I don't eat here and I never will this was for a delivery and they are eating into my money with their crap organizational skills. They need to learn to tell other people to wait when their was someone ahead of them!

I love Panda Expresses overall... but this location is too new and not running well. The portion sizes are smaller than I've got at any other location. The noodles were about half of what you get at other locations. There is a new Angus beef dish that they charge $1 extra for, my wife got that as one of her entrees and got 4 pathetic pieces of beef. Workers are too new they all look confused and looking at each other for support with blank looks. The drink machine was out of ice, and napkins and drink lid station was messy. Dining area is small. Drive through set up crap... have to drive to end of parking lot, turn around and then join the end of the line. Very disappointing. NOT by design, but I ended up going to DFW and ate at the Panda Express in Grapevine Mills Mall the very next day and it was much better. If your traveling through Abilene, skip this location for sure.... or at least until its been open a lot longer.

My fathe in law can't stop talking about this dive so I thought I'd order something. Have to say I'm impressed. Sweet gal named Terri took my order and helped me decide what I wanted. The thing I liked the most is she was smiling the whole time. Great food to go with the tude!

My husband and I made an online order and went and picked up our food. Made it home and my husband's plate was missing food. He called them to tell them and they basically didn't care, didn't apologize, didn't try to fix the problem. They just said oh well you can come back up here and get the food. What a bunch of lazy, terrible people!

Came out on Friday night to see what all the commotion was since it was their grand opening in addition to being the first Chinese 'fast food' in Abilene. I held my expectations high only to be crushed upon our experience. Their serving of Chow Mein was decent, however, their vegetables in two different entrees were as cold as ice on the inside. We had them re-cook the meals for the next 10 minutes as we waited, only to have them come back still barely warm. It seems like no one knows what they're doing in here. Being busy is no excuse for churning out sub-par food, even more so if you've got an army of staff. Seems like the people here blew all their money on the its construction and incompetent workers rather than the food quality.

HORRIBLE panda express. Staff is ALWAYS lazy and gives incredulously small portions. It is 8 and they are "out of" sooooo many items. Unacceptable.

Mostly Not so fresh rice. Very little meat and vegetables. To get extra veggies you have to wait 5 to 10 minutes. We got three small pieces of brocolli!. Canned Chinese Food might be a better value.

I had an online order and it was messed up. The veggies were salty and they didn't give me any noodles. When I asked them to fix it, they only gave me an extra entree. I've worked at a Panda before so I know it doesn't take much to just remake a plate.

You would expect at least they know how to cook their white rice(after all they just have to push a button on their fancy rice cookers),but not even that, i'm very dissapointed, i was really looking forward for this dinner, the rest of my order was cold, i don't know how they pass the city inspectionon Time and Temperature Control, not to mention there were a couple of empty slots on the steam table and the person that looked like the manager was picking through the fried rice to take out dried or maybe uncooked pieces of rice.... very dissapointed....

I waited 20 minutes for teryaki chicken and I showed up 20 minutes after they opened. The employees told me to just wait and then proceeded to get on their phones and dismiss me. I am not quite sure why this was okay?
