I just placed 2 orders on Doordash, one had no chicken or cutlery, is there no one to check the orders before delivering them? Where is the store manager, what is his role?

Fang Phattha

Google
Overpriced! Don’t get ripped off by them. I ordered large boxes a la carte but they didn’t even fill the box. Both were only about 3/4 filled. It doesn’t worth the price in anyway. The small box was smaller than my fist and has 4-5 tiny pieces of beef. Food are just average or below average. I totally regretted trying panda express and will not buy food here ever again. Better go for local Asian restaurants next time. Thise local places give better quality and larger portion.

I did a mobile order right before closing. I didn’t realize until I was walking in and saw the staff cleaning. I picked up my food and had the absolute best experience! The staff was extremely sweet and helpful. The food.. WOW. Best Panda I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for great food and even better service, this is the spot to go!

Google
Order a side of chaomin and I got a side of cabbage worse cooker they need to fire him. They need to learn how to cook

Aurora

Google
Love panda, would have it at least three times per week. All dishes recommended except fried rice, which is a bit too dry for me.

Google
nice chinese food in alhambra get orange chicken and teriyaki chicken or beijing beef

Google
Did some side gig delivering food and was sent to Panda express at Main St. to pick up 2 orders. When I was still waiting for the orders, I asked Henry politely if I could use their restroom really quick. His answer to me was “We only allow paying customers to use our restroom”. I couldn’t believe what I heard from this Asian guy. I was providing them support for their sales by delivering their foods and they treat delivery guys like that? And most of them don’t even smile. I guess they’re all unhappy with their jobs. They should just quit and find a job wherein they will be happy.

A bowl is 6.5 plus tax =7.12 which includes a entry and a side .ex. noodles and orange chicken The flavors were overdosed too sweet and salty basically forced you to buy I a drink but I will not I will endure the pain I went at 6 and the staff were busy or unfriendly The fortune cookies is good though

Yelp
Man what a hard working crew tonight. Super fresh items and awesome portions. I was helped by a woman named I believe Yang W. She and the rest of the crew were very friendly. This was around 8pm Tuesday 10/22.

Yelp
This isn't my top choice in Chinese fast food but you can always count on them having all the popular dishes available. On their app they always have a special discount to offer which I try to take advantage of the deal. The broccoli beef, vegan orange chicken, and the fried rice were all pretty good especially when you are hungry.

Aaron T.

Yelp
This location is closest to is and we've only done mobile ordering...maybe five times or so. Located in the prime Garfield/Main Renaissance Plaza, this business has been here the longest. It's always busy when I've picked up and staff is always friendly, fast and courteous. What's special about this location is that it offers the elusive tofu and eggplant dish...for some reason, most other locations don't have it. When we're craving something affordable, tasty and predictable, Panda always comes through!

Yelp
This is my least favorite Panda Express I visit, but unfortunately it's usually the most convenient. The orange chicken here is the least enjoyable of all the Pandas I go to. Even when it's a "new" batch, sometimes it just seems like a recooked batch because it's never as crunchy/crispy as it should be. They don't always have all the entrees. (Missing Beijing Beef often, and it's not like they need to cook it; it's literally not available on the online menu here) I tried to dine in tonight instead of taking out. I asked for a water cup as the manager handed me my order. He was a decent manager other than not being able to help me out with a water cup. I don't know if it's a corporate rule that they must swear to with their lives, so if they could honestly respond about this, that'd be great. So he said they were out of water cups. So I was like, "oh." Then I placed my order down on a nearby table and debated if I still wanted to dine in. The manager looked at me standing there, and asked if I had another order. I said, "No, I'm just debating if I want to eat here. I kinda want water." He's like," we have water bottles (for sale)." Yeah I know that lol. I asked him if I could get a soda cup to just fill with water. He said, "we're out of water cups." I repeated myself. He said he couldn't do that because they're "soda cups." I said I understand that (duh), but can I just fill it with water? He said no. The guess is that they just fear I'll steal free soda from them, but literally, I would've been fine if he wanted to fill the cup with water for me. Or watch me fill the cup. And I'm trying to eat there, so they could watch me with my water all they want. It's disappointing I couldn't just get a cup of water with my meal. So if Panda wants to respond on that, that'd be cool. It probably is just the reason above. Ultimately, it's not a big deal in life, but this just adds to why I don't rank this Panda as well as others. The one positive about this Panda is that they're in a good location and have managed to stay in business for a couple decades.

Yelp
I haven't been here in years, and it's great today! Excellent air conditioning in the hot summer, a grade A in the window, and really nice and welcoming employees. The place is clean and the food layout is very good. Fresh food. I brought my kids to get Cub meals and everything tastes great. Would highly recommend this location.

Yelp
I'm going to start with it is a Friday 7 o'clock one of the busiest nights in any country and you walk into a restaurant and they do not have nothing ready besides noodles, rice, orange chicken, beef, and broccoli and maybe two other items I asked for something else she has the nerve to ask me if I would like to wait I was so mad that I said no the reason I walked in there is because my son had a coupon from his school and I was going to get something for my wife and myself which I didn't. It is so embarrassing that this location is representing panda express and there is nothing ready. How does that happen? I spoke to another customer because I seen his face and frustration and he said, how do you get served before I did I do not recommend this location to anybody. They just might need a new management new manager. I do realize panda express does franchise but this location is horrible. Horrible how are you? Not gonna have your whole set up topped off on a Friday night 7 o'clock and have the nerve to ask me to wait for shrimpwow.

Yelp
My wife was craving Panda Express ever since we came back to the US. Our family came here the other day and it was nice that one of the staff could speak mandarin as my father in law cannot speak a lick of English. This was helpful In him being able to order. The orange chicken is to die for. So delicious! I ordered a double order with chow mein. We also order the teriyaki chicken which was so-so. The crab ragoon was also so-so. I've had better a small Mom and Pop type Chinese restaurants. We also order the Beijing Beef and Honey Walnut Shrimp. They were both tasty as well. Before living in China, I liked eating this kind of food all the time. This was my interpretation of Chinese food being a naive American. After living in China for 5 years and realizing how delicious real Chinese food is and how much depth and diversity there is to real Chinese food. I don't want to eat this (Panda Express) food all the time like I use to, but sometimes you get that craving for Orange Chicken and you must fulfill that desire to eat it. Must Order: 1. Orange Chicken 2. Beijing Beef 3. Honey Walnut Shrimp I would absolutely come back here again when I get that craving again.

Yelp
Probably the ONLY place with a reasonable priced "Family Meal"! Hey Panda, thanks for keeping your meals affordable, I'd never be able to afford take out dinner for my family. Thank you!!!

Mar R.

Yelp
Came to eat the beyond chicken unfortunately this is the only place near me that they have it while I was sitting I saw one of the Asian employees cleaning the table she goes and clean the trashcan with the rag inside out and then she cleans the tables, seats with the same freaking rag contaminated with TRASH it's so so so disgusting I had to get up and leave, please train your employees not to do that at least get two rags one for the trash and another for the tables. That is so disgusting. I had to throw away the rest of my food that's how disgusted I was ‍

Stephen B.

Yelp
Half filled orange chicken bowls on the $2 T-Mobile Tuesday deal. Great deal, but come on you're skimping out because you offered too good of a deal?! .. and then I find a hair in the rice.

Hannah G.

Yelp
I ordered for to go, it has Very little serving and the rice are almost all green peas and carrots.. so disappointing

Alonzia R.

Yelp
THIS is what we pay an EXTRA $1.50 for...smh! This place needs better management that won't be so skimpy!

Earl John K.

Yelp
Food here is amazing and fresh. They make food here with fresh ingredient can't go wrong. This location is good and manager mo is so nice and friendly great hospitality. Would definelty recomend this place

Kenya A.

Yelp
Came in today 01.27.24 and I grabbed the orange chicken and mushroom chicken and they tasted 11/10 like when you burn food in the on, and I'm not talking tortilla crisp burnt this food taste like that cancer causing chemical they hang signs about. I asked for a sample for a reason, and "they don't do samples". They should sample their own food before offering it to Customer what poor quality control. Panda hasn't missed in a long time, but this was absolute poison.

Lacey L.

Yelp
I went in asking for a water cup and they said no. I was confused because every place is more than willing to always offer a free cup of water. She told me no and to just buy a water bottle and walked away. Very rude lady won't ever be coming back to this Panda Express!! Edit: I walked next door to 'its boba time' and the guy there gave me a free cup of water with no hesitation :)

Elena C.

Yelp
Worst panda express ever. The chili crisp shrimp is not crispy at all. I can see the shrimps are ready to go to war, what's with their batter as armor and all. No, it's not batter. More like battering ram due to it's resilience. Chewing on them will sculpt your jaw to be like handsome squidward. The eggplant tofu was too sweet that if it was named James you'd see them on big billboard ads. And the portion was somewhat lacking compared to other panda express locations. Definitely won't come again.

Yelp
COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. The staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located on first ave. There are parking garages located on both sides of first ave. Park there and walk on over here. Food: I ordered fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, and orange chicken. Decent portion size. Crunchy and tasty orange chicken. Heavenly and mouthwatering honey walnut shrimp. Overall, it was such a great and satisfying meal. Staff: The staff here are very kind, friendly, and fast. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

Emilee L.

Yelp
It's okay if you want cheap and fast chinese food, but in my experience the rice has always been dry. And one time I asked for chopsticks and the cashier was like, "You know how to use chopsticks?" Like what?? I'm chinese.

Ben R.

Yelp
2 stars because I found a large stone in my rice. It was like a piece of the wall, floor, or ceiling fell into it

Elias L.

Yelp
Lady in the front denied me a water cup. I asked politely if they had water cups and she said they only had bottled water. I saw her give the people in front of me water cups. I then asked the manager if they had water cups and she gladly gave me a cup. Very bad experience and will keep a reminder of that employee from now on.

Jessica S.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in you can tell the workers are constantly working hard! Overall the staff appears really considerate and friendly, sometimes there is a sound barrier but overall we made it work by doing some hand movements. I was very impressed that they had a plastic covering in order to check out a while you are ordering food. we got an order of 3 containers with the 4 entrees and one bowl with two entrees. It helps that they have a social distancing stickers on the floor and also it helps that do you have do not eat at this table sign sign so people can make sure that they don't start chowing down eating standing up. Even when we were about to pay the cashier was really sweet and giving us a some won tons.

Gary L.

Yelp
Got catering here. The food was ready at the expected times. The employees sounded really grateful to have my business and kept checking to see if I needed help bringing the food to my car. As for the food itself, it tasted like typical Panda Express, which is delicious in my opinion.

Perla B.

Yelp
Panda Express and I are not friends. I went to get some dinner here on Friday evening, was really looking forwards to eating some takeout. I got FOOD POISONING from the Kung Pao Chicken. It's not even funny how bad the experience was. Woke up at 4am with the urge to vomit, not even nausea, straight up vomit. TMI, but I got up every 30-40mins to vomit at least 5 times. It was the worst stomach pain I experienced. The most embarrassing part was that I was at my boyfriend's house when it happened. He even got scared with how much I threw up. And each time I would vomit, all I would see were the chicken chunks, the squash, and the red bell peppers. To top it off the next morning I had a huge Popup event I needed to be present at, I was late, I was dizzy from how sick I was, and I still can't even keep any kind of food down. Unfortunately I will not be returning again to any Panda Express, this experience did it for me. And that's that I gave it the benefit of the doubt. My boyfriend had warned me in the past not to eat Panda Express, he knows many people who are part of management at several locations and according to him, "THEY AS MANGERS THEMSELVES WOULD NEVER EAT THE FOOD THERE WITH HOW THEY SEE IT BEING HANDLED FIRST HAND". I should have listened to him and never gone to eat Panda Express. YOU COULDN'T PAY ME TO EAT AT PANDA EXPRESS EVER AGAIN!

Lili L.

Yelp
The servers were extremely rude and short. They looked like we were annoying them when we were asking for food. The portions were extremely small. The kids meal was so small, it couldn't even feed a my 4 year old. The food wasn't good at all, it was all the left overs of the food.

Jenny H.

Yelp
I asked for beef and broccoli, my go to dish at Panda Express. The woman taking the order said they didn't have it, and then she upsold me to a more expensive pepper steak. I turned the corner, and saw they did have it. When I asked her why she didn't give me beef and broccoli since they have it, she then pretended not to understand English. I let it be. Also, if you haven't been to a Panda Express in awhile, it appears they shrunk the 2 entree item containers by about 2" wide and 2" long. It's like they went from a dinner container to lunch size. Do they think they are fooling customers with smaller containers? On the positive, the food is tasty. The most important positive trait is that it is close to the Regal theater next door, so you can meet friends before a movie and not have to move your car.

Edward H.

Yelp
They skimp on the entrées and pile on the rice! You gotta ask for everything, and customer service is kinda sub par. They're actually kinda rude. The food is pretty good and it's clean so it's got that going for it.

Lauren T.

Yelp
Ordered for school fundraiser altho okay way too greasy...if able to make it less greasy, salty I think more ppl would order

Florencia B.

Yelp
Rudest server ever!!!!! This one server in particular named YANG is a nightmare. Saw her screamed at a CUSTOMER for asking for the restroom code. when I purchased a soda and asked for a water cup too she went and yelled at us cause she think I'm putting soda in my water cup when I was filling my soda cup

Michael H.

Yelp
The food was good but I feel offended when people don't speak English and they might be laughing at you in there native language at Kaiser nurses are not allowed to speak in their language when you deal with the pubic people find it offensive just sayin

nancy q.

Yelp
Yes the reviews are right. The workers here are rude. Came 15 minutes early to pick up my order and gave A hard time. Asked for a cup of water and hesitate to give out. Ran after make sure not getting soda ?? They big guy will yell at if you ask if the order ready or not!!!!!

Noyra L.

Yelp
If you plan to order for lunch don't get it delivered. They gave me the incorrect order with shrimp which I'm allergic to, delivery was really late and when I called to speak with the supervisor to correct the order he hung up on me twice. Mr. Ly, supervisor was not helpful and very rude. @

Darrel K.

Yelp
Some people think it's fake Chinese food, but I love KPC, string bean chicken with brown rice. The food is actually relatively healthy compared to other fast food chains. I always get double meat for more protein! Don't forget to keep the receipt for an extra entree... no brainer!!

Ralph V.

Yelp
Ordered a bigger plate with 2x the amount of chow menu and 2x the amount of orange chicken and 1 them side of green bean chicken. The orange chicken was full of black specks and tasted terrible! The green bean chicken was full of black specks and was just as bad. Look at the pictures. Is orange chicken supposed to look like this ?

Michael M.

Yelp
Two stars because the Grilled teriyaki chicken was absolutely terrible, the taste was that of being boiled in water and the chicken felt very rubbery. There were absolutely no grille marks for being on a flat top. The fried rice had zero taste to it. The only redeeming food was beef/broccoli, orange chicken and chow mein. Sorry Panda but for the price I expected better.

Maira O.

Yelp
Today we had a large order with Panda for my work. This is not the first time my work has provided lunch from Panda and every time the food is spot on! The food it hot and delicious and Everyone is happy with their meals! The service is 5-star, as well. Food is always ready on time and packaged accurately...quite a feat when the order is requested to be ready only 30 mins after their opening and for 20+ folks. We will definitely continue to stop at Panda on Main!

Nichole V.

Yelp
Don't go here . Everyone there was so rude I had to say my order more than 3 times . The girl was so mad , I asked for half and half white rice and noodles , but she gave me only rice ! I asked her can you please put noodles and she goes "ughh" goes to the rice pot and scoops out rice back into it mad ass hell lmao . Then again on my bfs plate she was making she did the same thing ! She hated us lmao . When it came to pay I asked for soy sauce she asked how many I stated 6 . She literally threw them in the bag , as well as our 3 fortune cookies she threw them in the bag mad for no reason . Not our fault she was having a bad day . ( MIND YOU ME & MY BF WERE BEING UNDERSTANDING AND NOT RUDE AT ALL) ! But this B!$?#%^ was mad lmao .

Kelly K.

Yelp
wanted 2 x bigger plate meals but they gave me 1x big plate (2 item combo) and 1 x bigger plate (3 item combo) and charged me as 2 bigger plates. what a rip. the cashier/associate either have a hearing issue or can't comprehend customers. the prices are expensive too. a 3 item combo is $11.40 and the portion sizes are small. even with the buy one get one free coupon it's still barely worth it.

Aaron M.

Yelp
I got teriyaki chicken and spring rolls through Uber. Did they forget the sauce? yes as usual, unless I freaking call. Its always a hassle getting what I paid for which includes the sauce. Im going to call corp cause this is ridiculous.

Hayden L.

Yelp
You are going to panda express? What do you expect? real Chinese food??? But seriously they need to clean up their act. The foods in their are dry and stale. Seems like it's been there for days. Three stars for the employees who were cool, chill and friendly.

Alex 0.

Yelp
BEWARE: This Is The Worst Panda Express In All Socal. This Was The Third Time The Orange Chicken And Food Was Undercooked. The Rice And Chowmein Was Dry And Not Warm You Could Get Salmonella With The Undercooked Items They Seem To Never Cook The Meals Right At This Panda Location Next To The Theater. I WOULD SKIP THIS PANDA DONT BOTHER.

Cherlyn M.

Yelp
Went here not too long ago and came right when they opened. You would think their food would be yummy, hot and fresh but guess again My orange chicken was soggy and cold, along with my cold teriyaki chicken. On top of all that, the service was terrible. It's like the people in the front woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this location even if it's convenient for me.

Shea O.

Yelp
I went to Panda Express because they were hosting a Fundraiser for AllJoy4Paws Husky rescue. 28% of all sales mentioning the fundraiser ID goes to the rescue. So kudos for Panda Express! I ordered online and showed up a little early. The staff apologized for the wait and the infamous Yang was very gracious. I ordered 1/2 noodles and 1/2 power greens, kung pao chicken and three pepper beef, as well as some spring rolls. All was tasty and the portions were good...enough for leftovers for tomorrow. I'd definitely go again for another fundraiser!

Omar F.

Yelp
Took a minute or two to be greeted and acknowledged, my order was taken immediately afterwards. Ordered the string bean chicken and honey sesame chicken combo. The string bean chicken did lack chicken. Regardless both main entrees tasted great. The store itself was clean and presentable. Overall ok visit.

Valinda R.

Yelp
My son asked for more beef to his beef broccoli order and the server named Yang, looked at us then at the bowl and added 1 additional piece of beef . Not very nice of her.

Ice Cream I.

Yelp
On 1/29 around 3:30ish, I just witnessed a super rude lady annoy the staffs. She was yelling at a lady who was working about something and as a result, held up the line for several customers. The man waiting in front of me was just patiently standing there like uhhh...but you can tell it was not the employees fault, but the customer who was nitpicking about something. The sweet lady who took the verbal abuse had to apologize to us both when it was not even her fault. When I got to the front of the line and was about to pay for my food, the same nasty woman started demanding the young man with the glasses the fruit drinks that were behind the counter even though she only asked for a soda cup. The young man had to apologize to me for the interruption even though again, it was not his fault. I've been here several times and the employees are friendly. If the lady ever gave these employees any trouble, corporate needs to know to not pinpoint the blame on the employees.

Sandi T.

Yelp
Like I've said in a previous review , this location is a total hit or miss ! Almost every time I've been here Erika has such horrible customer service . She's practically always rude and not helpful . Today when I stopped by i had asked if they were going to make any new chicken egg rolls soon because there was 1 out and it looked like it had been sitting out forever...instead of helping us out and frying up some new egg rolls Erika kept saying no there's not going to be new ones anytime soon ? Usually if you ask about an entree and when will they be making a new batch they are very accommodating and she wasn't at all ! But it's literally every time she's here there seems to be some sort of issue or bad attitude. Everyone else I've seen has been friendly but can say the same for her . As I've seen in previous reviews, I'm not the only one noticing this . Customer service is a big part of a good restaurant.

Lary G.

Yelp
I decided to give Panda Express another chance and I regret it. The food wasn't good and it made me sick. I don't know why anyone would eat Panda Express, it's not real Chinese food. Never again.
