I really want to rate this place higher, because I've never had issues when I've gone at lunchtime. Fresh food, yummy. Occasional mistakes that happen everywhere, but nothing big. BUT, I refuse to eat here any other time of day. How are you out of white rice at 5:00 pm? How are you willing to give out rice at 8 pm that's so crunchy it's inedible? How can you charge so much for an al a carte entree that gives me LESS meat but costs more than if I ordered a bowl? (But I can't order a bowl because you don't have rice for the last 4 hours that you're open? )
I feel like some better management and organization would highly benefit this restaurant for a dinner crowd. There has to be algorithms based on past ordering to give you an idea of how much food to fix for dinner.
Update: we visited last night because my son's school was doing a fundraiser night (20% of orders that showed the school flyer will be given to the school). OH MY. We showed up at 5:30 and were told that there was no white rice. Like, at all. How on earth does a restaurant not stock its biggest staple before a fundraiser night?! But it gets worse: we opened my kids' meal and there was a huge section of their teriyaki chicken that was completely raw. Like, I could see the shiny pink on the outside - didn't even have to cut in. Plus no one was taking care of cleaning the eating area. We were there for 45 minutes and no one came to clean up the spilled pop, empty the overflowing trash bin, or wipe tables. I really love Panda's food, but I simply cannot love this location. I can't even like this location.
