Since the reviews here are both over a year old, I have to show a little bit of love to this Panda Express that I frequent.
So yes, the peas are sometimes a little hard in the fried rice. The Lo Mein is kind of just there and sometimes you get a little bit of a stomach ache, but it's Panda Express! It comes with the territory, but it tastes so good going down. Other than the rice and lo mein, which are bummers, I actually think that this Panda Express is like most others, which it should be as a chain.
I have had some inconsistent meals, but even when you go to McDonald's, sometimes you get a batch of fries and you know that something's not right. It just happens and I feel like it's part of eating fast food.
This Panda deserves at least three stars for two reasons: Garrhet and Kevin - Panda Express Ballers.
Kevin typically works the serving line and is so incredibly patient and nice to all the customers that come through the door. He scoops with fairness for all, even when customers are being extremely rude! He never forgets to ask if you want a third item and he's happy to answer any questions, just an all around great guy.
I think Garrhet is a store manager and I love that guy. He helps cook, serve, manage, and does the register. He's everywhere! He's extremely professional, well-mannered, and he's always happy to take the receipt coupon after you've taken the survey to get a third item for free. When Garrhet is there, you know you're going to have a great experience at this Panda because he seems to run a tight ship.
I have to disagree with Michael and Dr. Sam, maybe Kevin and Garrhet weren't at this location when they gave their reviews, but their comments were more about the food, which I think has been brought up to the standard here.
But really, it's Panda Express, they all seem to be pretty similar, though the one in Manhattan Beach/El Segundo is pretty awesome.
