3 stars for 3 reasons 1. The orange chicken was crispy and somewhat fresh considering I got there 40 mins before closing. The Beijing beef was still warm and crispy. 2. The price is about average for airport food. 3. Quantity is a lot for what you pay! Minus 2 stars for 2 reasons 1. They don’t have the food entree properly labeled so that can create confusion. 2. The lady that worked there that night was rude and not nice.

The Baseline: For a Chinese restaurant the food must be fresh, classic dishes need to be executed with skill, accompaniment sides must match with the style, and the plating must be of good presentation. Food: The food at Panda is good to eat for quick meals. Pre-prepped food that just needs to be dished onto your box. I stick with string beans chicken, teriyaki chicken, and steamed vegetables to give my carb craving a break. Solid meal but I know I am eating a bit excess salt when I come to a Panda Express. Service: Fast and efficient and the staff was friendly. Ambiance: The Charger Commons is a nice shopping venue for restaurant chains. The inside and outside dining is nice at this location. Clean restaurant and restrooms.

I was craving for some Asian foods after my long flights. I chose the PLATE menu - fried rice with chicken orange and beef brocoli. It’s so affordable. The value for money is very high. I finished almost everything (look at my plate) 😆😆

Review for Panda Express at LAX (post-security, around 9 AM today) I had a disappointing experience at the Panda Express inside LAX after security this morning around 9 AM. A female Latina staff member repeatedly insisted that foreign travelers could not simply point to the dishes they wanted, but instead had to say the names in English. In an international airport that serves travelers from all over the world, such a demand is unnecessary and unwelcoming. Gestures are a universal way to communicate, especially when language barriers exist, and requiring spoken English in this way made the experience uncomfortable for international visitors. It was especially surprising to see such behavior from a female employee who herself belongs to a minority group. This raises concerns about whether there are deeper issues in how foreign customers are being treated. I strongly recommend that Panda Express review its training and service standards at airport locations to ensure all travelers feel respected and included, regardless of their language ability

The chicken teriyaki was good but the beef thing looks like my 💩 from this morning. Also it was really hard and tasted/ felt old and dry.

This place sucks. It might just be the time I got there but I can explain. I got here an hour before they closed and they told us they weren’t making anything else. For religious reasons the only thing I could eat today was shrimp. There were eight shrimp left in the tub. I asked the lady serving food if that was one serving and she said yes. So, knowing it was one serving and I couldn’t really have any other entrees I got a bowl. While she was serving she decided that it was more than one portion and gave me 5/8 of the shrimp and refused to add the rest because it could have been used for a kids meal. With all due respect I don’t expect A+ service from a Panda Express next to the airport. However, it is wildly disappointing when you decide to not make any more food and try to portion what has already been made over the last hour before you close. The next three customers after me also seemed frustrated that there were minuscule portions for what they were paying. Slightly ridiculous in my opinion. I could be being harsh but it’s just my opinion.

It’s a Panda Express in an airport🤷🏼‍♀️. While not gourmet Chinese food, I like Panda Express food once in a while for a quick meal. They have good options, service is quick and friendly and food is generally fresh. My visit today did not disappoint! I got the Bigger Plate (3 entrees) so I could have leftovers. Orange chicken, string bean chicken and mushroom chicken with chow neon as my side dish. All were good — the orange chicken could have been warmer and the string bean chicken was excellent— fresh and not over cooked. Laura provided excellent and cheerful, fast service. I would come back!

This location is not owned by Panda Express but an airport concessionaire. The service is deplorable, the food does not taste the same, and they don't offer the same items that a regular Panda Express. I definitely recommend that staff be submitted to a customer service training course. Cashier was combative, rude, and patronizing. Asked for food to be packed to go and he just handed me a bag and started to check out the person behind me. Requested a regular coke and he instructed me to take it from their chilled area when there were none, his coworker had to go grab one from the back. I guess he noticed his coworker was being rude.

Review #605 None Elite Squad Panda are Pandas.. they're all the same.. same ingredients.. same taste.. same staff policies which means make sure the customers don't get too much for what theyre playing for.. well..not here.. are this Panda Express they're not Stingy. I swear I went at the right time or the right staff were working but I wont lie, they gave me a 2 item plate they way you get it at your local Chinese food joint.. what does that mean..you know they serve you chowmein and it tilts over to the side orders.. then they serve a big scoop plus a little extra of the side orders ..then you order a individual of Orange Chicken and they filled it up..meaning they made sure it was full ..no gaps. then I got a chicken egg roll..they gave the most filled one cause the rest were extra toasty. Was the food fresh? not really..its Panda..they did give me thr option if I wanted just made ..I declined Anyways, the staff were super friendly and made my visit pleasurable. it was super clean .. plenty of Parking .. Great Location Highly recommend this Panda 5 Stars all the way

My husband went in 40 minutes before closing and they had nothing left and claimed the kitchen was closed for the night and they were not making any more. They didn't make any effort to accommodate or offer any other solution. He ended up taking his business elsewhere.

This Panda Express is clean and has ample parking. I love coming here for lunch. New bourbon chicken is so good!

I'm a Panda Express loyalist, but the food at this location disappointed. Hopefully it's just the cook that was on duty during my visit. We got a family meal, but everything was below the usual Panda Express quality. Chow mein was dryer, with less vegetables, and less taste than usual. Mushroom chicken was way too salty. The tofu in the eggplant tofu was over fried, so was very dry and tough. Orange chicken was ok since it's just fried chicken tossed with premade sauce. I'll head back to the Manhattan Beach location since that location has never let me down even though this location is newer, more modern, and the workers were quite friendly.

To be fair we haven't had a bad meal at any panda location but we really enjoy coming here because the food seems to be hotter. I wish they did have black pepper chicken as it's my wife's go to, but it's okay. The staff here is really attentive and friendly. Always with a smile on their faces and always eager to help. It's typically quiet in here in the evenings but keep in mind that during the lunch rush it gets packed and loud.. The tables were clean but again during the lunch rush I have seen the tables look a little lack luster, with that said we will definitely be coming back for our panda fix.

Came in at 8:30 pm , only to find that four options weren't available . Unfortunately, this is not the only time this has happened to us at this location . It seems like they stop preparing food two hours before closing, and upon request they seem really hesitant to prepare the items that are not available . Several customers even leave at the sight of many entrees not even being available . At the very least , if the service was great it wouldn't bother me, but the employees seem really indifferent and in a hurry to clock out .

I want to give a quick shout out to panda express for the healthy options on their menu. It's been over 20 years since I've visited a panda express and I was in need of a quick and healthy meal the other day. I remember hearing on social media about this approximately 100 g protein plate from Panda Express. Basically just three portions of teriyaki chicken and the steamed vegetables. I checked it out for myself and can confirm this is a great meal when you're in a pinch and enjoy eating healthy. The chicken was great, although over season to my liking. The steamed vegetables were varied and garlicky $13 for a plate of 100 g of protein can't beat that. I'll definitely be back when I'm in need of some healthy food for meal prepping or even a quick lunch.

my husband and i have late lunch at this location 2-3 times a week we split a plate with 3 entree plus i the best. friendly employees Vanessa and the day time girl at register youare amazing for helping 2 older people (us) Thank you

I'll admit, I haven't had Panda Express for some time now. Then one random day, someone at my job went out and got some for lunch. The delicious (and very familiar) aroma just wafted all over the place and that's what triggered me to have it again. Lunch hour hit so I jumped in the car, found my way and next thing was me trying to decide which ones to get. Nice and clean - of course, since it's fairly new. Plenty of seats inside and out. Most people took their food to go, so if you feel like dining it, shouldn't be an issue finding a seat/table. CHICKEN EGG ROLL: Nice crunch on the outside, really tasty inside. Sweet and sour sauce elevated the flavor. Worth the $2 price tag. (Forgot to take a picture, whoops!) I decided on a 2-item combo: half noodles, half rice. Although it was more rice than noodles. (I'd say about 70/30.) Which was fine since the noodles were the typical and familiar Panda Express flavor. Good chew but a little bland. There was very little love made with it. Don't get me wrong - it's not horrible, and they must be doing something right because this particular dish is popular! MUSHROOM CHICKEN: More like cucumbers with mushrooms and a few pieces of chicken. They really make use of those cucumbers as fillers. Flavor is great, though. Mushrooms and chicken cooked tender. It's the sauce that does this dish. If only they calm down on the cucumbers! ORANGE CHICKEN: I think most people will agree when I say this is probably their one (if not the most) popular thing here and that's why they make plenty. And I do get it. It's sweet and savory and a tad of crunch at the same time. A few bits of it solo might make the flavors a little overpowering but nothing the rice can't balance off. This I like. FOOD: 3.5. SERVICE: 3.5. VALUE: 4. Plenty for twelve bucks and change. I even got a 2nd meal out of it. PARKING: Private lot. Plenty. Not an issue even if it is shared with a few other spots. OVERALL: 3.75. Good first run! Will most likely return when the mood comes up. Will most likely try something else... but there will be a future visit!

We went to the Manhattan Beach location last night, as we do very often, but they have discontinued the ONE ITEM that we order: TOFU ORANGE CHICKEN. So we left, and now you've lost at least two loyal customers!

Who knows if this will be resolved but please advise your staff ( especially the ones who wear heavy make up ) to leave their prejudice at home when working customer service. It's 2025, you don't have to be outright vulgar to let someone know you don't appreciate their presence. This is the third time that I have come in & received poor customer service & odd looks from a particular staff member who rings up the food. Third time I've had to ask for forks to eat & third time I had to ask for fortune cookies for my kid. Same person. Same experience, every time. I have been coming to this panda for years & usually enjoy it. They're not stingy with the servings & typically friendly & welcoming. Also the restaurant is always clean & in a great area. However, these past few visits with this particular new staff is about to have me change locations. It's unfortunate & unacceptable.

By far thee worst Panda Express I've ever had ! The rice wasn't fried at all it was just steamed n they added veggies to it n it was all mist n bland! Then the orange chicken was so sweet I feel ill nasty! Then the Beijing beef was nasty some pieces wasn't cooked ! I hate I really wanted this and it was this damn nasty ! I will not return to this one ever again wasting my hard earned money !

Worst customer service. Places an order at 12:38PM with pick up time at 1:15PM. Arrived at the location at 1:10PM and waited for like 10 mins and still nothing. I needed go to to work and left. And I got a text saying the order is ready at 1:43PM, over an hour from my order time and 28 minutes later than the pick up time. I came back at 6pm the same day and explained the situation and want to get the order. The manager strictly told me "I will do it this time but not next time". I explained that I was here at pick up time and my order wasn't ready. She said due to promotion so there are lots of orders and there is a sign saying the wait time would be longer (in fact the sign only say the order will not be ready before the pick up time). No any kind of apology about the late order but more like is okay for them to make mistake and make order late but customer is the at fault for not waiting past the pick up time. I have seen a manager would blame a customer for showing up on time for the order but not sorry for late order. This is ridiculous.

I prefer this panda express more than others. The food is fresh and portions are decent Customer Service is excellent and they take your order pretty fast and not leave customers waiting that long because they have a lot of call-in orders. And is very clean.

Who doesn't love Panda Express? Food was good and the crew was trying hard to keep up with the pace. I arrived at the right time with only 4 people ahead of me. There was a steady flow of customers coming in the whole time I was here. Crew was cranking! Great job. I would come bakx

I would give a BIG FAT ZERO if I could. Walked into the location at 3:38 pm today. Did not get out until 4:12-ish. Waited over 1/2 hour for mushroom chicken and tofu eggplant. During the wait time, there was no communication about the tardiness of the food. When I checked in after 20 min, the girl at the register looked at me and said, "do you want to wait or change your order?" No apologies until I asked to see a manager. They sent out the guy who was cooking. Do managers also cook food? He said sorry, we need 5 more minutes. Really??!!!? EXPRESS is literally in the name of your chain! How does it take over 30 minutes to make 2 dishes? By the way...it took another 10 minutes. And then when the girl let me know it was ready, there was still no acknowledgment of their error, just a smug, "is there anything else?" Deplorable customer service. Complaint submitted. It will be interesting to see if your corporate has the same type of customer service, or if they care about how their franchises treat their customers.

If you've been to a Panda Express you know what to expect. For those that haven't, it's very Americanized Chinese food that satisfies a craving. The service is good, the place is clean, and the food is okay. I wouldn't bring anyone here to talk about how amazing the food is but for a quick bite it's not bad. I would come here again.

Dropped a chunk of a big chicken teriyaki and casually threw it away without refilling it. So basically I paid for the less amount that advertised. I come with full expectation I will get what I paid for. That was a very disappointing behavior by the employee.

Ordered on the app at 10:50 AM. Walked in at 11:10 AM to pick it up. Told me that it was not ready. I stood there waiting until 1124 before my order was done. It was just a plate of orange chicken teriyaki, chicken and chow mein. The wait for those items was ridiculous.

It's a Panda Express, they're fast-ish and at a reasonable price. For what it is this franchise location is above mid tier. I'm removing a star because I've done online orders that's have taken a long time to come out over what the app estimated. Kitchen appears clean.

Dodgers won yesterday at home, so I got a $5.00 plate (online or app order with code dodgerswin) and their service was amazingly friendly and efficient. The orders are on a rack, but the attendants are quick to ask who you are and get the orders out if they were ready. I was early, but they still got my order done quickly so I did not have to wait much longer. They have outside and inside seating at this location as well Now, the food. I ordered the plate with honey sesame chicken and orange chicken. Both were tasty. The orange chicken (not the hot Orange chicken) had the spicy logo on this entree and it did have a kick, but was almost tolerable (i could still eat it drinking lots of water) and the taste was surprisingly flavorful (it was dark meat I think). The orange sesame chicken breast was totally tame but flavorful so the sweet was more apparent, but also had a good flavor and had bell peppers and green beans to boot!

Nicest panda express I've ever seen. Very clean and nice looking bathrooms. Daniela and Denisse the two staff members I interacted with were very nice. Denisse even asked if i wanted something to drink while I waited! Which was sweet!

Staff here is very friendly! This place can get busy (I believe there is a high school nearby) but they try to be as accommodating as possible.

So happy a Panda opened in El Segundo. Ample parking, nice modern restaurant, and good quality food. Will be back many times!

I usually place my orders online. The portions are shrinking. Too much open space for $12+. When they 1st opened, the portions were good.

Not all panda expresses are made the same! This panda is the best I have been too in terms of customer service and fresh food!

Pretty good, place is beautiful, food is delicious, service was actually not bad, but it's kinda fast food, I like that!

So I went to pay and the person in front of me gave them a $50 and the cashier touched it without gloves and had their co worker check it aswell, so two people touched it without gloves and Then I asked for a medium drink and she touched the inside with the same hand she touched the money and neither of them thought to wash their hands, no one was behind me. They had time not a full store packed

I am so happy this Panda Express opened up. Yes, I'm Chinese and I love Panda Express. I grew up surrounded by good chinese food and there are so many types of chinese food, Panda is just a small subset. For what they make and offer, it is very tasty. Yes their sauces are on the sweeter side in general but you can choose healthier options if your prefer, but its usually what I'm opting for when I choose Panda. The orange chicken and kung pao chicken always hit the spot for me, and I enjoy the eggplant tofu. This Panda is one of the better tasting ones, better than others nearby for sure. Maybe because they have good turnover? Whatever it is, I have come back again and again. Sometimes the portions on the cub meal run a bit small, but I usually get the 3 item plate and that is usually plentiful. I've tried other fast food chinese food places, in different Chinatowns and strip malls, and none have topped Panda for taste or freshness.

ordered on 2/28/2024. the food quality is mediocre, missing the distinctive Chinese umami flavor. rice and chow mein: average. beef: too much gristle. orange chicken: overcooked and tough. broccoli and teriyaki chicken: very good. The quality has gone down since the grand opening.

What is the point of ordering ahead when o have to wait until everyone in line gets their food first. My order probably would've been faster if I didn't order ahead. By the way, both times I've ordered ahead, I had to wait 10 minutes after I arrived and I arrived 10 minutes after the pickup time. By the way, they don't even seemed bothered by being so late.

I got orange chicken today and it was bomb. I asked who cooked it and Richy was a great chef. I will be back.

Coming from long flight needed to use restroom so bad line cook had amazing service but the Asian girl was so rude and came off strong I didn't know you have to buy something in order to use the restroom
