I eat here about 2-3 days a week, food is absolutely great!! The manager of this location is very cool super chill. Some workers are new and still learning but as long as they are patient with me I will be patient with them. This is an update I reviewed this place when it first opened. Keep up the good work! Hoping I can write another excellent review in a few months.

Ordered a kids meal and the person who was putting my food in the container was very nice when all of a sudden the lady behind him said he put to much food in my container and started taking it out in front of me making a scene. I thought that was very disrespectful and unprofessional of her to do as well as inappropriate. Next time workers should do that behind customers back. Not only did she embarrass me she also embarrassed the young kid.

Google
Hard to say if this is a good location. Flavor was very good but they lack customer service. When we went in it was empty. There was no beef it the BEEF w/broccoli. We were told they would get more right away and tell us. It never happened. Then, we noticed they took forever to complete new order and a 10 person line formed… after being empty… that’s how slow they employees were. They need management. Again, good food but bad service.

Google
Staff was friendly. Food was ok. Got a 2 entree combo. They put the other items onto a plate while they made the new batch of bourbon chicken as they were out when I first got there. It took about 7-8 minutes. The bourbon chicken was hot and fresh but the other items on my plate were cold. It wasn’t that busy when I was there.

You can get better Chinese food at quite literally any other family-owned Chinese restaurant in the area. This was my first and last time trying Panda Express. The food was barely edible and very disappointing. The rice was so bland and the veggies were hard as if they were never cooked. The chow mein was super dry and also has no flavor. The chicken was too fatty and the breading was soggy. The lemonade I got was decent but it had no ice in it so it was disgustingly room temperature.

There was a time fortune cookies were novel: the gold rush. There was a time orange chicken wasn't everywhere: 1987. This restaurant on this coast is almost forty years too late. What's most tragic is passing at least six better Chinese restaurants traveling here. Everything has been sitting. It's mediocre at best. I've had the popular honey California walnut shrimp and California orange juice chicken; it's always cold. The black pepper sirloin steak didn't disappoint.

Google
The server was rude, food was cold…noodles we literally half cooked, chicken was cold as if it was out there for a while when the server told us that it would take 10 minutes to get the chicken as it was being worked on but when they gave us the food the chicken was cold. So they basically brought over a pot from God knows where and served us. We threw all of the food out.

Google
This place has great potential The service is solid, friendly and welcoming and helpful. I do understand when there's rushes they gotta dial in and don't have time to chitty chatty. The food however has been hit or miss. Sometimes its just right, but my chicken is tough Other times it seems fine then my noodles are still raw. If they lock down the quality of their cooking and get it consistent they will shine as the dining area is always clean, they have steady traffic, and able and willing happy folks ready to serve ya up.

Yelp
Just wanted to update this. It turns out that rice doesn't automatically come with the meal. It's ridiculous but that is why we didn't get rice with our first order. Food is pretty good but overpriced and the selection is odd for a Chinese restaurant. No spare ribs?

Yelp
An excellent quick service option for anyone wanting to get a quick bite that doesn't include fries and a burger. First off I'm concerned about the low ratings based off of people who make it a job to just complain about literally everything. Service is quick and efficient and I've never had a bad experience at this location. Port oriens are solid and everything has been served fresh. As with all online reviews and posting, take it with a grain of salt, but know that if you look into the profile of most of these people with low reviews, they typically are doing it everywhere because they're living a miserable life .

Yelp
Very good for being super quick, sadly not too close to my house so I rarely get to go here, but it's one of the better food places nearby and is very comfy and convenient

Yelp
Just. Not. Good. Americanized Chinese food. Only had takeout. Local Chinese restaurants should do family meals too!

Yelp
I've had several visits to Panda Express over the past nine months. We had dining-in and take-out service. Although it is a chain restaurant, every time I was greeted with a friendly hello, the aroma & sight of freshly prepared dishes set the stage for a delightful meal. The service is quick and always keeps each of their food selections freshly stocked. Whether you get the classic Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken (a bit spicier), or Walnut Shrimp...there's something on the menu to satisfy every craving. Also, the portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave feeling completely satisfied. I like that they keep to the nucleus of the menu, but they periodically add new items to the menu. The restaurant itself is clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated; creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for diners.

Yelp
I would not recommend this place. I placed a pickup order and when I got home they did not give me any meat just rice for my meal. When I called them to get a refund they said they don't give refunds which is ridiculous. Also in my order I put a Dasani water bottle and they decided to just give me tap water and charge me for the water.
google avatar

Sylvia R.

Yelp
They are fast with the tasty dishes, cleaning constantly, pleasant as they serve you. People are choosing to eat in the location because it's clean and inviting. Thumbs up!

Yelp
Oh boy, my dinner was very interesting. The orange chicken and honey shrimp were great, but the chow mein was hard! There should be more sauce on the chow mein. Service was good. The customer next to me was arguing that he was overcharged. His cashier tried very hard to explain to him the pricing. I guess you should be careful when ordering.

Yelp
Jaden was amazing. he was absolutely so helpful and he gave me great helps and great tips on what meals I should get etc. He was so sweet and told me that I would have a blessed night and told me that I was an amazing person. Thank you so much Jaden.

Yelp
Came in here the one day with my kid, and there was a dog eating out of a bowl first of all my son is all allergic to dogs, Second of all, I never knew that they had a pet friendly sign in panda express the cake topper third of all is when I seen that they dumped the rest of the dogs water that he was drinking out of back into the water that they was cleaning the floors with! I'm so disgusted what I just witness now they are cleaning the floors with the same water that the dog drunk out of really, guys, really ???

Yelp
I grew up on Panda Express. I'm not ashamed of it. If you want something inexpensive, ready in an instant, that was very recently prepared, you should hit it up. But grading on the curve of Chinese restaurants in Morris County, there's no denying that you could find better. For my nostalgic visit, my first in 10 years, I went with Sweetfire chicken, mushroom chicken, and fried rice. I've always been a sucker for their rice - it's fluffy and tasty, although the carrots and peas tend to get lost. The mushroom chicken, which came in a delectable sauce, needed a more generous portion, especially when compared against my oversized Sweetfire chicken portion, which unfortunately had papery and soggy breading. I'm not sure when this chain became unfriendly to vegetarians. Everything on the entree list was chicken or beef. What happened to tofu? Food is prepared in small batches several times a day, which keeps it fresh upfront. Service was screaming fast, parking on a Friday was easy, and Apple Maps is totally wrong about the location.

Yelp
What are two bowls one with rice one with noodles with chicken and string beans was full of rice and noodles in my tiny scoop, maybe a teaspoon for chicken and noodles, green beans, and two little pieces of chicken and each one never go back

Jeanie N.

Yelp
Food is disgusting . Noodles are dry as can be. No taste. Shrimp is over cooked. Would never recommend this place.

Annika S.

Yelp
There is nothing "express" about this place. Waiting 25 minutes inside the restaurant for a online order while the employee continued to only serve customers in line, not make any mobile orders. Maybe hire more employees or don't take mobile orders because clearly it cannot be managed properly at this place.

Yelp
Food is top notch. Great cooks! The young lady who rang us up was very friendly and welcoming. There's a cook named Joshua who has amazing food quality.

Yelp
So glad a Panda Express opened up in my new area. I've been missing the delicious food since I've moved out here. Same exceptional quality food and taste.

Jessica S.

Yelp
Yet againnnnnnnnn another bad experience. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken and walnut shrimp as the "big plate" I was charged for 2 big plates which I did not order. I only ordered one and I ordered 2 pack of the spring rolls which I never received. Door dashed the order and now I'm out $50 fu**** dollars for an action that cannot again be corrected even after calling the store. I will NEVER order form here again. Staff when I called didn't give a SHIT about what I had to say. They told me "no you ordered 2 big plates." Why would I order 2 big plates? Isn't the customer always right? And I'm not trying to be bitchy but common $50 and I didn't get what I asked for at all. This place is a fucking joke.

Yelp
this place is nasty, food hair a hair in it and was cold! Just not worth it, we had the orange chicken which now reading others reviews people have had issues with too. Not what you'd expect from a brand new establishment

Diane O.

Yelp
Everything we had was overly spicy or overly peppered -- even items you wouldn't expect to be. Food was also kind of lukewarm as if it had been in the steam trays way too long. We had never tried a Panda Express before and our experience at the Ledgewood NJ location made us decide we don't ever want to try it again. Food shouldn't be painful to eat.

Yelp
STAY AWAY. There are some businesses that just need to close up and go away. This is one. Arrived at 6p (dinner time) not a customer in the place. Most of the food options on the hot table was low, brown and dried out. But never fear they have more food on the way. The new, freshly cooked food was just added to the containers of the old dried out food and just mixed together. While waiting to be served I saw the guy in the food prep area making food at the wok. He dropped one of the cooking utensils on the floor. But wait. He just picked it up off the floor and continued to stir what was in the wok. Using the utensil that fell on the floor. I asked the person taking orders what his name was, and she said he is the manager, Raul. At that moment I decided to leave and go elsewhere. In this immediate area there are 20 other options for food. I went somewhere else. And don't regret making that decision...... It should have been a clue when at 6pm there was not a single customer. Somethings wrong.

Yelp
Make sure you know what and how to order!!!! Bobby will yell at you until you order NEXT NEXT NEXT it wasn't just done to my daughter it was done to the man in front of us too the poor guy said... please forgive me it's my first time here... the guy behind us said he has his order written down in his phone because they are so rude to you...

Just E.

Yelp
For the price, it is a good place. Tried a couple of things: - Chow mien - Could be better, kind of bland - Broccoli and beef - Best dish of all, tasty and can handle the take out time - Sesame chicken - Good, but like all breaded items, after it gets cold, or even in the transportation until home, it loses a bit of the appeal - Teriyaki chicken - Popular item, tasty - Shrimp and walnuts - Good, but another breaded item, but still good. Suggestion, get to know the menu and the item you want, the place is new and popular with a long line sometimes.

Yelp
Last time I visited a Panda Express was couple of years ago when I lived in Las Vegas. This is great to have Panda Express near my work place. The food is pretty good( orange chicken is awesome). The menu has little bit of everything for everyone. This location is very clean. I never been to Panda Express when it was dirty. If want a good meal at a reasonable price then Panda Express is your place.

Yelp
This place is awesome. I've enjoyed most of the entrees I've tried; my favorites are the honey sesame chicken and the sweetfire chicken (not that spicy). The chow mein side is awesome. I recommend always getting half your side as vegetables/greens, especially since the side is a lot bigger than the entree. The last time I was there I asked for a bit more greens and less chow mein, and the balance was much better. The entrees usually aren't a huge amount, but at the same time are plenty. I always get a bowl, with just one entree and a side, but you can get a meal with two or three entrees too. They're super friendly. They had some growing pains with keeping food stocked when they opened, but they seem to have gotten the hang of it now. Also, just a note regarding utensils: They give you a fork with your food, and you can ask for chopsticks. The chopsticks are a little bit splintery when you separate them, so don't do it over your food. They're still perfectly usable.

Yelp
Great people at panda express. Joe and his crew helped me when Doordash couldn't! Very understanding and patient, thank you!

Alexis J.

Yelp
Food is decent, but the place seems a little understaffed. However, even when busy the employees are great and handle the stress well.

Yelp
I am not sure what the Mans name is but whoever the man is in the black shirt ( I think its in the owner or manager) is very rude! Gave me the worst attitude at the register was very impatient and rude. After the horrible service at the register I didnt even want want my food I told him how I felt respectfully and he didn't say a way word just stood there and looked down at the ground, what a shame great food and friendly staff just a Very rude and inconsiderate customer service experience with this Man.

Kimlee W.

Yelp
Staff member was friendly. Explained how the menu worked and flavors/heat in each of the food dishes. Food was warm. Tasty. Good portion size leaving some leftover for next day. Will return. Good value for money.
