"You can walk right in at Panda Gourmet and find a table. Even better, most of the tables are tailored for big groups eating family-style at this classic Szechuan restaurant. Located off of a Days Inn in Gateway, (yes, the hotel chain), it's easy to overlook Panda Gourmet. But if you follow the signs, you’ll find a restaurant that delivers a solid food experience at a great price. The extensive 14-page menu includes traditional dishes like mapo tofu, beef burgers, and double-cooked pork alongside Americanized faves like general tso chicken." - Omnia Saed

Visited my in-laws from Texas, and we decided to have dinner from this restaurant, and it was DELICIOUS. There was enough in my entree to have for three more meals. Well done.

We got takeout, so service and atmosphere weren't really a factor but the place looked nice. The food, like always, was SO good! I tried the roast pork with garlic sauce---it was perfect...a good amount of meat and a great variety of veggies! My husband got sweet and sour chicken. You get plenty of chicken to feed two people!! My son got the orange chicken...again SO much chicken! Husband and son both said the chicken was really tender.

I would say their food is a hit or miss. It’s good enough to eat once in awhile but not all the time. I got the veggie mix and while it was good it also had a lot of liquid in it. Their steamed dumplings were pretty bland and didn’t have much for a taste. I got their wonton egg drop soup last night as well and only came with wontons and they didn’t look right. I would probably order my Chinese food somewhere else.

I have had Chinese food all over Wisconsin. In my family there is no dispute this is the best. In taste, value, and #1 Service. Please keep doing what you are doing.

Take out service is always fast and correct. Never a bad meal! Love the Dinner Combo Mixed Vegetables with either chicken or shrimp with pork fried rice and egg roll! Yummy!

My family and I have eaten here numerous times over the years, always dine- in. My order never varied; always walnut shrimp, which was exceptional! WAS is the operational word here. On my last visit,I was greatly disappointed. The price was up a couple of dollars, and that's okay unless the portion shrinks (it did) and the quality declines (it did). The star of the walnut shrimp dinner has always been the mayo- based sauce. Provided generously, it makes for a wonderful dish. Skimp on it, as they did recently, and the dinner suffers significantly. Up till now, I accepted the cool, unfriendly staff because of the walnut shrimp. Not anymore.
