Panda House

I have written this place off way too long. I thought it was just another cheap, fast, Chinese takeout joint. But the exceptional thing is that it IS but with way more flavor and quality than I expected. The only thing short of excellent is the atmosphere but hey it's takeout. I got way more food than one person could eat to try them out and literally nothing I had was bad. I would order it all again. I'm very impressed. The owners are nice and they were taking such care even with the door dashers.

I ordered the two meat combo with orange and honey sesame chicken with white rice and spring roll. This was the most discusting Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. The meat was hard with a bad taste . The white rice was hard and not fluffy ,spring roll tasted sour . I threw up for almost two hours . My stomach hurts . I will never eat at this place again. I will bring back their food tomorrow because I’m too sick to take it back tonight . And I expect a full refund. It’s very disappointing that they serve food tomorrow the public . Spoke with manager and he was very nice told me to bring back the receipt and I told him I’ll bring the food back to to get my refund

We enjoy Panda House. Usually we have General Tso chicken or black pepper chicken. Good portion size … price is average.

Dang good! Like, I normally don’t rave about food often, but the Mongolian chicken is 🔥. Out of the all the Chinese restaurants, this was doesn’t give me indigestion so you know the ingredients are fresh cooked.

I ordered a spring roll and beef with mixed veg for takeout and it was easily the worst Chinese food i have eaten in the Tri-county area. Spring roll was so bad I actually spit it out. If you want good Chinese Mr. Chen’s is literally a couple miles down the road from this place.

I have never met such a rude person. She works the front counter. I will not got return. There are plenty of other Chinese restaurants.

First time ordering from here. I ordered the chicken curry with a few other items. At first glanced, I realized there was some pretty big pieces of onions in the container, but to my surprise, almost 3/4 of the container was onions. Seems like the chicken was just for accents. Like literally, I put all of the onions into another container to look at the comparison (it may look like a lot of chicken, but trust me its not). The sauce was a little spicy (which I liked), but was mostly bland. The only reason why I giving it 2 stars was due to the other items.

I don't know if the chef had changed but today food was awful. I tasted like old food not happy about it

Always a great choice! Food is great and service is too. We usually have enough food leftover for the next day.

Every time I move I try to find my go to Chinese food restaurant, well I found it for Montgomery. The food is good, nice since portions, all for a decent price. There is some seating available but I have never seen anyone stay to eat, rather everyone (like myself) just ordered to go or came in to pick up an order they already placed. Plenty of parking outside as it shares with other stores in the strip.

Lady at counter is ssssuuuuppppeeeerrrr nice dumplings and other food is realy good to,it does look very rundown but it's the inside that counts

This was my first time trying this restaurant. The food was fresh and hot. You can dine in or take out. The food was good although it tasted a little bland. The customer service was good and the place was clean. I would eat here again but I would try something different.

It use to be so good, but the last 3 times it was not flavorful...crab Rangoon is always on point

They have the best orange chicken and crab rangoons. We also enjoy their half and half wanton and egg drop soup. My picky toddler will almost finish the adult serving of orange chicken.

It was good overall. Not amazing but good. Service was good and people was friendly. The lobby did have inside seating but only two tables.

This is our favorite Chinese fast food in the city. We are always greeted with a smile. The owner is so sweet. My daughter will only eat the plain lo mein and steamed rice but claims it's her favorite, so we get it quite often. Other times we have big orders to feed the whole family and get free donuts with our large orders. Thank you Panda House! You treat us like family.

THIS IS MY GO TO CHINESE LOCATION! Very clean, very good prices, and the staff treats me with the upmost respect. The food is good and I can TASTE the different 12/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Ordered delivery!!! The food arrived fast, hot and fresh. We ordered, sweet and sour shrimp, char sui pork lo mein, general tso's chix, egg drop soup, tofu w veggie (a must for vegetariana), and chicken fried rice. ...ad they threw in some delicious donuts!!! The reviews were mixed but we decided to give it a try bc the folks that liked it- raved about it. Anyway, all the food was amazing and reminded me of my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Francisco that my dad would take us to when we were kids. Enjoy!

Good food...... But I ordered the Bourbon Chicken and received freezer burnt chicken that was hard as a rock to chew and it was very dry with a funny taste to it. I called to see if they could make another order and deliver they told me NO after spending $33 plus tipping. Said it was nothing they could do!

Fast and friendly service every time. Food is always hot and delicious, and the options are great for the price. I keep coming every other day at least and I haven't had a negative experience ever.

When I feel like slumming I slum with General Tso and his chicken in a little, handled, paperboard container. As far as Chinese take out goes this is the best I've had in the Gump. If you can manage to comprehend that this is cheap Chinese take out and not PF Chang's I don't think that you'd be disappointed. Friendly service and consistent food gives Panda House elite status compared to it's competition. I'd give them more stars if they had a Pu Pu Platter or a red glazed spare ribs appetizer on the menu.

This is the best Chinese I've had here since moving to Montgomery. It's located next to Publix in the shopping strip mall. They had all the traditional Chinese menu options and they deliver to the surrounding areas. Everything I've had here is exceptional, General's Toas, Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Lo Mein, Fried Rice....All of it. They are very affordable and quick

Horrible greasy, chewy, not fresh food. The Rangoon was ALL sweet cream cheese in some weird yellow pastry, the fried dumpling meat was chocolate brown colored mush, the 'beef' in the pepper steak was slimy and rubbery and my family (after the little we ate) woke up with stomach aches. It was double bagged and went straight to the outside trash!

My wife and I ordered out from there last night. Had our meal delivered in Pike Road. Will definitely be ordering from there again. Friendly and prompt service! I had the Bourbon Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice - it was delicious, best takeout rice I've had in the area. My wife had the Sesame Chicken with Fried Rice - she enjoyed hers as well. Best Chinese in Montgomery! Love this spot! We use Panda house at least once a month! Good is always great! Very good customer service!

I've tried A Lot of the so called "Best" Chinese food places in Montgomery and Prattville. This is the one. A few tables if you want to eat there but mainly Take Out.

I will never eat here again! The food was awful! I ordered black peppered chicken and it was hard and crunchy! Chicken is not supposed to be hard and crunchy. It was greasy too. I also ordered a spring roll and it was hard and crunchy. I couldn't even chew it. I couldn't even identify what the pastry was it was wrapped in but the chicken and the spring roll tasted old. I kid you not I dont think the chicken was even chicken. Whatever it was it was hard and crunchy and it wasnt meat. It was just awful. I'll never go back and it was overpriced for what you get and very low quality!

Disgusting . I had gotten the General tso chicken and it had no flavor whatsoever. The only thing that was good was the egg rolls. Now I will go back for that . Other than that it's terrible .

This is my go to Chinese food place whenever I am in Pratville. Their beef and broccoli (B&B) is some of the best I have had in either Prattville or Montgomery.

Panda House is my favorite Chinese takeout restaurant in Montgomery. I personally recommend the black pepper chicken and the bourbon chicken. Their prices are very reasonable, especially at lunch! I also prefer to give my patronage to good people, and the family who runs Panda House fits that description.

I've been ordering from Panda House since I moved here earlier this year. They have a wide variety of food items to choose from their menu. I love their black pepper chicken and their Singapore noodle dish (which is kind of spicy). I have ordered from both take-out and delivery. And I have to say I'm impressed with their delivery service. Very quick and it's very convenient and easy ordering online. The delivery guy was very nice when he delivered my food. And the packaging of the food was not sloppy. You can tell they take their time to package your hot meal. I like how you can reuse those take-out containers. Very eco-friendly business. And the business itself is pretty much you order at the counter and either eat there or take it out. There are only a few tables in their restaurant and so don't expect them to serve to you. It's more idealistic to grab and go after a long busy day at work, which is my lifestyle. I never had a Chinese restaurant I really liked, but Panda House is a business I would refer for easy ordering, fast service, and good food.

I think if myself as a food snob. That being said, you pretty much have the same expectations for most fast food Chinese, and even less if it's delivery. Let me just say that this place met and exceeded on both occasions we have ordered from them. The food is hot, delicious and delivered in a super timely manner! And on both occasions we ordered from them, they had a question about the order and called us multiple times to resolve it! Our last order was 4pm Christmas Eve. The guy who delivers is always so happy when you open the door and thanks you endlessly! I love this place and we will only do Chinese takeout here!

I ordered my food online at 6:42pm. I got there to pick up my order at 7:03pm. I waited in line for 3 minutes...no big deal as for there were 3 people in front of me. When i get to the counter at 7:06pm and told her i was picking up an online order(#903) She looked confused and asked for my phone...so i gave it to her so she could look at my order. Gave me my phone back went to the togo station and grabbed her phone. I guess the online orders go to her cell phone bc once she looked at it she said oh ok. I asked her was it ready and she walked off. Well its now 7:20pm and still no food. I asked her about the food and she said oh its coming. I started to explain that my order was placed 38 minutes ago and she just walked off before i could finish. RUDE! At that point i got her attention and asked for a refund and she told me no...its coming. I said no i want a refund. She said no again and pointed at the food. At this point im getting frustrated. So she walked off and started putting together an order. She gave me the order and i looked at her like really...so i asked for a refund again and she walked off at 7:38pm. Instead of showing out i took the food and left as for my kids were waiting to eat at home. Get home at 7:41pm and THE ORDER IS WRONG!!! I vent to my husband about the experience and he calls to question what happened with the order. All she kept saying was to come back and she will have it recooked. He said no we already waited almost an hour and we spent $40 to get a messed up order. She repeated herself. He explained that hes in the business and understands things happen and mid sentence SHE HUNG UP! He called back and she said all she can do is remake it. He told her no so she agreed to make 2 of the 4 meals again at a later date free of charge. He accepted that but i was still like WTF!!!! They will never get my business AGAIN!!!

Ordered from here and it was raining. I ordered and made sure to tip 20%. After about an hour I get a call from the driver telling me she's outside. I'm like I see you. *awkard silence* She asks if I'm coming to get my food. I'm flabbergasted at this point. I said, "So, if I understand correctly you want me to come out in this rain and get my own food???" She says yes. She didn't even pull in the driveway. She's just in the middle of the street patiently waiting for me to get out in the rain and come get my food like this is normal and acceptable. So I go get my food and immediately let her know that was unacceptable. I called the restaurant and asked for the manager. Of course they say they're not available. I asked them to have him/her call me back and make sure it's not the delivery person. He says it's not going to be her. Guess who calls me back 10 minutes later not from the store, but from her phone???? Ding ding! The delivery person. So I proceed to tell her I want my tip refunded. I got out in the rain and delivered my own food. That's MY tip. She swears up and down that since I ordered online she can't reverse it. I worked for a menu hosting company before so I called bs. I told her all she had to do was call them and have them reverse the tip. She gets quiet and doesn't deny that's true. So NOW she can't do that because the manager is in China for the summer. She told me to just not tip next time and it would be fine. I said there won't be a next time so that won't work. She then offered me a $1.50 tea next time. The tip was $4.40 so that's unacceptable as well, and I just told her there will be no next time. Finally she says I'll have to come to the store tomorrow and get it. Oh, and they overcharge me $6.12. I showed her the transaction when I got there and she STILL wanted to argue with me. She grudgingly refunded the $4.40 but refused to refund the $6.12 saying it would update to the right price in a few days. That transaction has settled on my account. That is the amount they charged me and it is incorrect. I'll go back Tuesday to see what lie she has then. Worst delivery experience ever. She forfeited her tip when she decided her comfort and convenience were more important than those of the customer. If you pay FedEx for delivery and they leave your food in the middle of the street in the rain and you have to go retrieve it did they deliver it all the way to your address and fulfill the transaction? And the food wasn't that good any way. Do not eat here. They do not value your hard earned American dollars.
