Family-run and unpretentious, Panda leans Chinese with a compact sushi add‑on. The Huntsville visitors bureau lists it, and recent diners praise staples like sesame chicken, hot‑and‑sour soup, and honey chicken.

Hands down the best food and the best place to sit down and eat. Food is always amazing the staff is wonderful. So relaxing to just have a nice meal after a long day of work.

Came into Panda Express thinking oh yaaa orange chicken. Then come to find out it’s not a Panda Express, but it’s own place. Which made me happier. I haven’t found lemon chicken anywhere, they had it. I got that , egg drop soup, & 2 egg rolls. Cost me a little over $25. The egg rolls were light & crispy. The soup was delicious with the crispies. The lemon chicken was good, a big serving. But the lemon sauce seemed a more honey sauce with a hint of lemon. Good though, a bit sweet. And very, very sticky. I barely touched the container & the stickiness was everywhere! Even places I swear I didn’t touch! I will be back, the food was so so good! You know when you have food from somewhere & others see & say “ from such & such? Ya they have good food!” I got that a lot when I ate this at work. So yes I’ll be back!

Panda is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to recommend dishes that suit your taste. Now, the food—wow! Each dish is crafted with precision and packed with flavor. From the perfectly seasoned entrees to the fresh and vibrant sides, every bite feels like a celebration of culinary artistry. The portions are generous, and the presentation is stunning, making it clear that they take pride in what they serve. The ambiance adds to the charm, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're there for a casual lunch or a special dinner, Panda delivers on every front. Highly recommended—you won’t regret stopping by!

Google
Too much sesame oil in egg drop soup (it’s all you taste), burnt wontons, bland rice with no eggs. No amount of seasoning makes this food taste any better. I’ll never be back.

Google
Really good, super fresh, piping hot food in a "hole in the wall" location. 1 dinner is easily enough for 2 meals.

Google
Great little spot for Chinese almost everything here is good EXCEPT there Egg Foo Young. It comes with a thick dark black sauce that has some kind of sweet teriyaki flavor and completely ruins the food they do not make the usual light brown gravy that you pour on the egg foo young.

Google
A small place that is clean & has good, fresh food. We heard the cook preparing our order after we ordered, but it didn't take long for it to come out. We will definitely go back.

I’ve been going here for years! Hands down my favorite Asian spot in Huntsville. Always delicious and fresh!

Yelp
For the most part, the food here is pretty good. We "discovered" Panda during the Pandemic and have gotten "take out" from them about once a month since then. A week ago we ordered: sweet-and-sour shrimp, 4 spring rolls and lo mein with no veggies. With great anticipation I unpacked the sack, when I got home, and was frustrated to find that there was no red sweet-and-sour sauce and the lo mein was thick with veggies!!! The meal was ruined... what good is sweet-and-sour shrimp and spring rolls without the sweet-and-sour sauce??? Yesterday I took the receipt and stopped by Panda and presented two options to the manager. Either 1) refund the cost of my order or 2) make me the entire order. Her best counter offer was that she would give me a container of sweet-and-sour sauce. I almost laughed in her face. I took the receipt from her and strongly told her that, "You just lost me as a customer." Customer service is VERY important to me. I would recommend that the owners of Panda should look at how they treat their customers when the restaurant screws up. Mistakes sometimes happen, but how the restaurant "fixes" the problem is so very important. I gave them 1 star but would have given 0 stars if I could.

Yelp
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Huntsville, hands down! Loved the General Tso chicken and egg rolls. Yum!

Yelp
We recently moved to Huntsville and are looking for all of our new favorite local spots. We decided to try Panda out since it is so close by. We called in our order to-go. Oddly, I had to call a few times to even get it to ring through. We ordered Mongolian Shrimp +Broccoli and an order of Chicken Fried Rice. The total was right around $30. When I ordered the Mongolian Shrimp, I asked if it came with vegetables. The man on the phone said "Um I think it comes with onions." Which seemed odd. Granted, I have never ordered this dish so I wasn't sure what to expect. I asked to add broccoli, and this ended up being $1.50 extra. When I unboxed this dish at home, I was shocked that it appeared to literally be a box of 80% onion. There were 8-10 shrimp total and only a few pieces of broccoli. The flavor was pretty good, and the shrimp were properly cleaned for the most part. But I was shocked by the overpowering presence of onion. I wish other veggies were included. It did come with a side of plain white rice. My husband said his chicken fried rice lacked flavor. He added lots of soy sauce to help. I don't think either of us would order our dishes again. I'm not sure we'd go out of our way to return. Especially for the prices for what you get.

Yelp
I just had a terrible take-out meal from this place. I ordered Cashew Chicken with extra cashews. When I got it home there were five (count' em) cashews on the top. I was charged $1.75 for these "extra" cashews. And the meal was 95% rice, 3% undercooked celery and carrots tidbits and 2% chicken. Never again!

Yelp
I've been eating here since I was 15. The owners are awesome the food is fantastic Thank you guys for your service That spicy tuna and garlic tofu!!!!!

Yelp
I ordered a lunch meal with curbside delivery. The food came promptly and was pleasantly hot. But . . . The General Tso's chicken was so tough I couldn't cut it or chew it. I am afraid to put it in my garbage disposal for fear it will break the machine. The only flavor in the sparse General Tso's sauce was excessively sweet. I couldn't detect any spiciness. The fried rice had almost no flavor at all. I looked very hard and found about 5 peas and 4 pieces of raw onion in it. The hot and sour soup was the best of the lot, but it had almost no sourness and only a hint of spiciness. It did however, have a few veg, one slice of mushroom and 2 pieces of tofu. I ordered a fountain drink and specified a very small amount of ice. Instead it was filled to the top with crushed ice. There was only a small amount of the drink itself. I should have gone to McDonald's for a Big Mac instead.

Yelp
Food is pretty good and prices are reasonable. I've eaten there a number of times and some entrees are definitely better than others. They tend to go overboard on the Chinese five spice such that those dishes (chicken chop suey and a few other chicken dishes) are actually unpleasant. Their soups are not very good, but the egg rolls and spring rolls are very good.

Keith Q.

Yelp
Terrible. They used to be good. They replaced the cook, the new guy overlooks the noodles EVERY time. Do not order any lo mein dish. Done with them.
google avatar

Arik C.

Yelp
If you want to eat both Chinese food and sushi for a reasonable price. This is your place and the food is good .

Yelp
This is the best Chinese food I've had in Huntsville hands down. Their orange chicken is amazing, and you can tell it's made with real oranges and orange peels. The food is always hot and delicious!!

Yelp
A girl that works there was so rude to us, I wish we would've just walked out. In the middle of taking our order..she passed us off to the manager because she said she couldn't communicate with us. All we were asking was if we could make the fried rice that came with the entree veggie (if it was made to order). How hard is that to understand? As she left the restaurant she glared at us and gave us the dirtiest look (of course I was the only one who saw). She went to her friend's truck and I watched as she b*tched about us--pointing to us repeatedly. I would say 0 stars for customer service & 2 stars for their food. I've had better Chinese food and I'll never give them our business.

Yelp
This is my favorite Chinese spot in Huntsville. The food is consistently good. It is a must try!

Yelp
Maggie and her wonderful family have always been amazing via food quality, service, prices and all other aspects. It's my hands down go to Chinese take out and their sushi is AMAZING. The sushi prices are beyond fair and they never disappoint and I've been going here well over 10 years.

Yelp
About 80% as good as Ding How (in other words, Ding How is only a /little/ better), but much cheaper. Similar taste, similar portion, similar variety. Atmosphere not as good as Ding How, but service was a little better. I had egg drop soup and chicken lo mein. You can't mess up soup, and this soup was fine. Nowhere near the best, but tasty enough for me to happily eat it all. The lo mein was tasty, with a large helping of noodles. The chicken was a little slimy but good enough. My boyfriend got sesame chicken. I didn't have any, but it looked exactly like how it did in the Yelp picture--fresh, colorful, and tasty. He ate it all and liked it. So we had all of that plus two soft drinks for less than 25 dollars. For quick, cheap Chinese with a lot of choices, Panda isn't a bad option.

Yelp
The food is awesome for the price, and the free delivery definitely doesn't hurt. Service is always good and the food almost always comes out quickly. Ones of my go-tos in the area!

Yelp
My wife and I love this place. It's our favorite all-around Asian restaurant in town. It has a great selection of both Chinese and Japanese food. My wife loves the sushi, and it is priced great (6 piece Spicy Tuna maki for around $5). My go-to is usually the Mongolian Beef Dinner. The dish has amazing flavor and is made with onions on a bed of crispy noodles. Fried rice and an eggroll are served with it as well (all for around $8). Everything we've had here is really good, and the staff are really nice and attentive. Don't miss this place, it's a great hidden gem in the Airport/Whitesburg area of Huntsville.

Tanner W.

Yelp
Pretty expensive for "ok" Chinese food. Got the shrimp lo mien and it wasn't anything special. I liked that it had mushrooms in it though. Also got the sesame chicken. Had to spend some extra time in the bathroom but that's typical i guess for Chinese. I will give them another shot for one of their lunch special ***UPDATE*** I tried the lunch special shrimp lo mein (surprise) and I've come to a conclusion. It's just average at best. Probably won't be returning here again

Yelp
Just started going here about four months ago. I remember going once many years ago, but forgot about the place (was it Panda then?). Have only been for lunch, but it is good. General Tso's Chicken is great. I get the wonton soup which I really enjoy. I've heard the Hot and Sour is good too though. You can't beat their lunch special pricing and I always leave more than full, instead of miserable which is how I leave buffet style Chinese. The food is definitely better than the buffet style as well...so a double win. I would highly recommend if you have a yearning for some good Asian food. PS. The sushi is good as well. But if you add it to a meal, make sure you really want that little extra fullness.

Yelp
I've had sushi at many different places but this sushi is by far the best I've ever had. The entrees were really just okay, but the sushi is incredible. If you come here, get the sushi and you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Gary L.

Yelp
I've only had the appetizers here but they're very good, especially the fried rice. Very friendly staff. Prices are very affordable. Would give five stars but I haven't eaten here often enough to be that sure.

Hailey K.

Yelp
My favorite place to go when I am in town! I love their hungry roll and wonton soup! Definitely going to go in the store when this pandemic is over

Yelp
****Best Egg Rolls in Huntsville**** Wish I could rate it 6 stars! Love this place. Been eating there for something like 8 years. I usually order over the phone and go pick my food up in person. They offer a delivery but the few times I've ever got my food delivered it took forever :( But other than that it's great. In the entire 8 years I've been eating there I order either the General Tso's Chicken or the Sesame Chicken. I've rarely ordered anything other than those two dishes. Tip: if you order takeout, and your order is over $20 you are eligible to get a jug (it's literally a jug) of either egg drop soup or hot and sour soup for FREE! I recommend the hot and sour. But you have to ask for the soup.....they won't just give it to you, that's the catch. And last but not least DON'T FORGET THE EGG ROLLS! They're the best in town!
google avatar

Celine D.

Yelp
We love coming here. The food is always delicious. We usually order sushi when eating in and it never disappoints. My daughter says that they have the best miso soup in town.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was great... The phone reception was great... Everything was great! They were really good with repeating the order to me as well. 10/10! (Or 5/5)

Yelp
A few years ago this was our favorite Chinese restaurant. We ate there at least once a month. The food quality and wait time became very inconsistent. It wasn't bad enough to stop going, but we started looking for another favorite. On our final visit they delivered our food to the wrong table. When they realized the mistake, the waitress moved the food to our table. For some reason the woman at the other table started eating the food, even though it wasn't even close to her order. When we pointed out that the food was partially eaten, the waitress didn't see the problem. We decided to leave and haven't been back.

Brian W.

Yelp
We always call in orders for delivery. Their food is good and they deliver promptly. The only negative is that the order taker speaks very little english and it's hard to communicate with her.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been dining at Panda for 3 years, takeout and delivery. I eat there around 4-6 times a month. It used to be my favorite place to get food, until today. I ordered at 11:15. My food arrived at 11:55, inside the promised window by 5 minutes. My tofu dish was swimming in water, not General Tso's sauce. I called and explained what happened and they knew I was a regular and promised to remake my order and send it right away. 45 minutes later, I called because it wasn't there and the owner/manager yelled at me and rudely told me some bad words and to never order there again and that she didn't care that I was diabetic and waiting on my food. The she hung up on me. A few minutes later, the driver arrived with tofu, but no new rice. The old rice was 1 hour old! I called and asked her to send the rest of my order and she hung up on me. I went down to the restaurant after the driver left and asked for 3 things: to speak to the manager, the name of the owner and their email, and my money back. They claimed the manager had left in the 10 minutes it took me to get there. She was actually in the back. The man yelled at me, I kept my voice down and asked why he was yelling at me. He walked away then flat out ignored me and tried to take my cell phone out of my hand when he saw I was recording the conversation. The waitress couldn't tell me anyone's name - Manager, owner, accountant, whatever. The lady that yelled at me on the phone was brave enough to tell me all kinds of bad things then, but when I was in person wouldn't come talk to me. I contacted a Restaurant Justice team and WHNT and we will hopefully get a story together so everyone will know how terrible their customer service is. I recorded a few clips of their service.

Yelp
My favorite place to eat! My favorite roll is the super crunchy shrimp roll, I have never tried one as good as this one. I also love the Shrimp tempura plate, egg drop soup and sweet and sour chicken. (Actually I love everything here) very friendly staff!

Kayla P.

Yelp
This place is pretty good! We did a door dash order online and the food made its way over in just 30 minutes. We had a group order of beef and pork lo mein, sesame chicken, general tso chicken, moo shoo chicken, Kung pao shrimp, steam/fried dumplings, eggs rolls, and finally crab Rangoon. Everything was delicious! The sesame chicken was a bit sweet but overall good. Steamed dumplings packed full of flavor! Egg rolls were okay and could have used just a tad more filling. I didn't get to try everything else but everyone's plates emptied pretty quick so I'll assume it went well! Overall, this is my second favorite Chinese food place in Huntsville!

Yelp
Me and my mom was looking for something to eat, she had decided on cheeburger cheeburger but I wanted some chinese. So as soon as we walk in my mom told me this place didn't even look right but I was so hungry I paid no attention to it. I got my order pretty fast probably 5 minutes after I placed the order. It seemed kind of strange to me how fast they fixed it but I still ignored the signs. Soon as I started eating the food tasted so slimy. And it had an odor, the rice was burnt and the egg roll tasted like it was fried over and over again and microwaved over and over again. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE EVER AGAIN. Basically money down the drain because I was not going to eat that i'm sure it would've made me sick.

Yelp
I do not know what these people are talking about, but maybe they got new cooks. We are also all born and raised in California and went to the same Mexican and Chinese place there for over 25 years. They know authentic. In California these folks are actually from the Country and not just posers. Ok so we have been here almost 3 years and have gotten a lot of bad food- yuck both Mexican and Chinese. They don't do authentic in the South. I decided to go ahead and give this place a try since I take my Daughter to the Art place next door. I prayed and prayed that it would be descent since we have blown hundreds of dollars on crap food. Yes!!!!! Finally someone that knows how to cook!! I felt like I was right at home in California. What a feeling! What a concept. We will be back for sure. Now mind you that they do put peas and carrots in their fried rice which is a no no, but tasted fresh and yummy and full of flavor. We also had the magolian beef which was spicy and tasty, the shrimp lo mein which had plenty of fresh shrimp and noodles cooked to perfection. The bbq boneless spareribs had the perfect sauce! taste wise though it could of been a little thicker. The place looks like a little hole in the wall, but we got take out. Oh and I almost forgot the egg rolls. Very good!!! Please folks give this place a try especially if you are not from the South. The Southern people do not know what good authentic food is suppose to taste like so don't take their word for it- Sorry Southerners.

Yelp
I've been going to Panda for all of my non-buffet chinese food cravings for about six or seven years now. The food and prices are always consistent, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out fast. The egg drop soup is the best I've tasted, and at $1.75 for a cup you just can't beat it. No, the walls aren't pretty and ornate, but if you want to get in and out and leave full and happy this is an awesome option.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
The food is quite good and reasonably priced. Cheap lunch specials. The sushi is normal prices, but the rolls are very small, so I usually stay away from it, even though it's delicious. The staff is never very slow or rude, but not overly-friendly. Veggies here are always fresh and delicious. Veggie and hot and sour soups are great. Mongolian shrimp might be my favorite thing on the menu. And they deliver within 5 miles!

Yelp
HORRIBLE! I am from california and lived in new york the last year and I think I am a good judge of americanized chinese food. This is definitely a place I will never go to again. I ordered a chicken entree with some fried rice and some spring rolls (what I typically order at any chinese takeout place in NY). The chicken was cooked in a sauce with way too much garlic, the rice was orange and looked like it was frozen and microwaved, and the spring rolls were oily and filled with something I couldn't even recognize. I brought the food home, ate about 3 bites before I started to feel like something wasn't right about it.. Yup, I got food poisoning! I would not recommend this place, although the employees are friendly, the atmosphere is bad and the food is much worse.
google avatar

Corey J.

Yelp
Great Chinese place - better quality food than the other places around. Maybe not as many Beef and pork dishes as some other places might be the only con.
google avatar

Marc M.

Yelp
Went here yesterday, it had been awhile since I've been. I ordered Sushi and loved it. The folks I went with had dinner plates and soup and they enjoyed their order. They usually go about twice a month. Prices are fair and service is good.

Tyler C.

Yelp
Without a doubt the worst fried rice I have ever had. Looks like it has been sitting out for a few days. Chicken is bellow average.
google avatar

Bethany S.

Yelp
We eat lunch at the Panda on average of once a month. It is a small, unassuming little place located in between a book shop and art gallery. The lunch specials are very affordable, average about 4 bucks a plate, and very filling. The waitress, Maggie, always remembers us and is so friendly. The sushi is basic but good. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, there are shipping boxes everywhere, but if you want good, fast Chinese food, this is the place to get it.

Yelp
I tried panda because I'm new to Huntsville and have been trying to find a good Chinese place. I've been going to the place closest to me but it hasn't been that great so someone suggested panda. I went there a few months ago and it was ok. Some things were better than the place I've been going. Other things were not as good. Tonight my boyfriend wanted Chinese and panda happened to be close to where I was so I went there. I wish I had gone anywhere else. It was ready so fast! Faster than the 10 minute estimate. At first I was impressed and now I'm thinking it was food they had in the back that they reheated and changed to match my order. The crab Rangoon tasted sour, my chicken lo mein tastes and smells like fish. Bad fish. I can't even eat it it's so gross. I'm assuming at one point it was shrimp lo mein and they picked the shrimp out and added chicken. Some of the noodles are really dark like they were recooked. My boyfriend got the general tso chicken. He said it wasn't good and the sauce tasted weird. This was the worst Chinese food experience I've even had. Pretty much I threw away $20 because I'm not eating this horrible food, I'm worried it will make me sick. My hunt for good Chinese food continues.

Savannah D.

Yelp
If I could I would give 1 star I would I ordered 1 meal to go it took them 1 hour and 31 minutes to get to my house that's only 10 minutes away says google maps like seriously panda get on it there food is pretty good just don't go through delivery

Samantha C.

Yelp
I order Panda for my family about twice a month for the past year, we use the delivery service and have never had a bad experience. I love to order the sushi. The Mongolian Beef is awesome. The hot and sour soup is my favorite in Huntsville! I used to frequent another Chinese restaurant near by but Panda tastes more fresh no taste of preservatives or MSG
google avatar

Shelby C.

Yelp
They have delivery up to 5 miles, and the sushi prices are great! I no longer live in the delivery zone, but I drive for the take out! This place is something I need and crave quite often. Check it out!

Vamp R.

Yelp
I have been coming to panda for many years and It's my favorite place to get sushi! They have amazing prices and the quality of their food is really good! The service is phenomenal. The best part about these small family businesses is that they care about their customers. They remember my name and that I always order the love roll. It's small, but dont judge a book by its cover. If you haven't tried it highly recommend it! P.s. ask for the love roll you won't regret it!

Leah R.

Yelp
Nice little restaurant ! Food has been good every time my husband and I have eaten there. We enjoy the crab rangoon and egg rolls ! Honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken and Chicken Mei Fun are our favorites. Food is always very tasty and hot! We recommend it

Yelp
Awesome fast Chinese food...probably the best I've had in Huntsville..they also donate a lot for the area...employees are always super nice and it's always a clean place to eat.

Jane D.

Yelp
Haven't found your cheap Chinese/Japanese takeout yet? Look no further. Service is fast and portions are huge. Even the sushi is decent, especially considering the restaurant's primary offerings. The restaurant itself has little atmosphere, but if you're ordering delivery or to-go, you'll have no complaints.

Max D.

Yelp
We had takeout and it was average. My partner got pretty sick after eating. There's nothing significant to this place... Same old Chinese food.

Hsv R.

Yelp
For the price, this place is great. Tucked away in the corner of the plaza next to Cheeburger. Its small but I've never seen them too busy. The sushi is great, the entrees are very large portions. The soups are great. I got no big complaints, been eating there for years with no trouble. They deliver, but the delivery guys seem pretty unprofessional. I regularly order sesame chicken and spicy salmon sushi roll. Take-out is pretty fast too, and the staff is nice.
