Pane e Vino

A fantastic Italian eatery located nearby. We visited for lunch and chose two starters - Fritto misto (fried calamari, shrimp, and more), and Carpaccio di Manzo. Both were attractively presented and delicious. The prime beef carpaccio was exceptionally tender. For our main dishes, we selected Lasagna alla Bolognese, Seafood Risotto, and Pollo alla Parmigiana. Each dish was wonderfully flavorful. Our waiter was courteous and efficient. We would go back to try more dishes.

Our first visit here and we truly enjoyed it and a very nice way to celebrate my wife's birthday. The service by Daniela was incredible. She made sure everything was to our liking and presented the wine 🍷in a way that was not expected. She made sure my wife felt special. We will definitely go back

Food is always delicious and beautifully plated. I’ve been here several times and tried different dishes, not once have I been disappointed with the food! However, there was one visit when my son’s drink had something floating in it. They replaced it, but no apology… just a look like we were the crazy ones for asking. A little kindness would’ve gone a long way. It gave off that “we’re too fancy for mistakes” vibe. That said, we still come back because the food is worth it. They take reservations, but we usually walk in and the wait isn’t bad. There’s VIP parking up front if you want to pay, or free parking further down the shopping center or in the back.

First time here after wanting to try it, and this place did not disappoint! Our server, Sebastian, was amazing and recommended the burrata for an appetizer. That was THE choice. Super delicious. I ordered the cheese wheel pasta, and not only was it delicious, but it was an experience with the table side preparation! My friend got the salmon with the orange white wine sauce and loved it! We each got 2 glasses of wine that paired great with our choices. For dessert, we got an affogato and the panacotta. Panacotta was slightly boring but the texture was perfect. The ambiance was perfect. For a girls night, date night, and everything in between, this place would be a great choice! Can’t wait to come back 😊

My husband and I were out for a date night and had a wonderful time. The service is impeccable. They work like a well oiled machine, work in unison, When it comes to clear your plate and your table, the next comes by with freshwater and refills, and then the next comes by to drop off cutlery. It was a wonderful experience. The food was incredible, The tiramisu was a must try. We will definitely be back.

I dined here with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and she was very excited about the pasta made in the cheese wheel. Overall, the food was okay and the portions were decent. But definitely more elevated than Olive Garden, but still just average. That said, when you go to a more upscale Italian restaurant, you expect not only better food but also a memorable experience, especially considering the price. Unfortunately, the experience aspect failed tremendously. The cheese wheel presentation was very underwhelming. In most places, the cheese wheel pasta is prepared in front of you, which adds to the experience. Here, the heating process was done in the kitchen, so there was no visual of the pasta being heated. Also ,there was no visual of it being plated because she did it behind the wheel where we couldn’t not see. The preparation felt rushed, and when the dish was served, the pasta was cold. Despite this, the food itself was decent. The restaurant did make a thoughtful gesture by offering a complimentary dessert for my sister’s birthday a chocolate cake which was absolutely delicious and honestly the best item we had. Overall, the food was okay and the birthday dessert was appreciated, but the experience did not meet expectations.

This place was far from demure; it was absolutely amazing. We had to make reservations and it was such an elevated experience that we definitely will go back. Firstly, there was lots of parking, and upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess, who had such a pleasant disposition. Taking a look around the place, left me with a wonderful smile because it was beautifully adorned. I love the overall ambience and the design aesthetics. Our waiter was extremely nice and very forthcoming in menu selections in addition to libations. The food was cooked to perfection and was very delicious. We will definitely come back and I encourage you to give it a try. It’s very much Old World Italian mixed with new age. My only gripe is that it’s in Richmond and I live in Spring, but I will gladly drive back for the pasta!

This place is beautiful, elegant and has great jazz music - live band style . I went on a solo date and I absolutely enjoyed myself . The food was 8.9/10 ! Pretty good for my first review . I feel when I go back and try something else I will change it . The bread was amazing and the oil with seasoning was perfect . I wish it had a tad bit of a salt in it but they probably don't do that in Italy lol The chicken parmigiana ( hope I spelled it right ) was really good . Noodles were good as well . Overall the meal it self is 8/10 .the presentation was great . The dessert was 4/5 .. very yummy . Not a fan of lemon but the liquor caught my eye lol The wine was very good . More on the bitter wine side . The closet to sweet is the orange rose and I loved it . Very light , fruity but still bitter . Had 2 glasses and got the job done . I will absolutely be back again very very soon to indulge in a 2nd try . Maybe something im not normally eating ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We celebrated our third wedding anniversary at Pane E Vino, and from the moment we were seated, I was absolutely blown away. The customer service was incredible--starting with the warm hostess, to our amazing waiter Hector, who made us feel truly special. They greeted us with a "Happy Anniversary," and the manager even surprised us with a glass of bubbly, which set the tone for a perfect evening. I ordered the short rib with risotto, and it was rich, decadent, and layered with the flavor of truffle--an unforgettable dish. My wife had the cheese wheel pasta, which was both the fanciest and most delicious pasta presentation I've ever experienced. The smoked chicken added a wonderful depth that complemented the creaminess of the pasta perfectly. To finish, we shared a tiramisu and pistachio cheesecake alongside a macchiato--absolutely divine. This was hands down the most authentic and memorable Italian dining experience I've had. Thank you, Pane E Vino, for making our anniversary night so special!

We came to Pane e Vino for a Thursday date night with friends, and it did not disappoint. First tip--make a reservation! This place stays busy, and once you experience the food, drinks, service, and ambience, you'll understand exactly why. We were lucky enough to go on a Jazz Night, which added such a cool and classy vibe to the evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed night out. Drinks were fantastic-- I had the cucumber martini (refreshing and delicious!), while my boyfriend and a friend went with the old fashioned. Our other friend had a dirty martini. Every cocktail was crafted beautifully. Shawn was our server and he was absolutely wonderful--friendly, attentive, and on point all evening. We started with the bruschetta, which was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. For mains, I had the gnocchi--pillowy and rich, seriously amazing. Two of us had the chicken parm, which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and our other friend had the short ribs, which he couldn't stop raving about--he said they were "out of this world." Everything was excellent from start to finish. We always enjoy coming here, and this visit just reminded us why it's one of our go-to spots. Highly recommend!

I still really love this place! I've been back several times & thought I would upgrade my review. Service is great. Servers are very attentive. They now advertise a happy hour Sun-Th 2-6pm with bar bite as well as a saxophone & martinis on Th night. I love sitting in the indoor patio area. The music is loud & upbeat and just gives a vibe. The inside is much more quiet so pick your seating based on preference. The complementary bread & oil is wonderful. Ask for some fresh garlic to put some BAM in the oil! If you have never had an expresso martini or always wanted to try one, this is the place! Hands down the best expresso martini I've ever had. They use real expresso, no chocolate sweet syrup, no baileys, it's made with real coffee. It's just yummy...caffeine, flavor & alcoholic kick.

Last night was another wine tasting. Executed perfectly wine was wonderful. Food was wonderful and as always service is superb.

Starting from the valet parking this is a very, very nice place. Service is great, the atmosphere upscale (but the music is much too loud). We started with the carpaccio, bread basket and finished with the ravioli and lasagna. All the food was fantastic, and the lasagna was the best I've had in quite a while. Our beverages were an alcohol free beer, a St Arnold's draft, and a nice (but overpriced) glass of Chianti Classico.

If you love Italian food, live in katy, and can ball out. Ball out here. Service is always very attentive. It is one of the nicer restaurants in Katy, so a great option if you want an upscale dining experience without the i10 traffic.

Went for a birthday and it was fine. The food is okay, I didn't try the pizza but the cheese wheel pasta is truly indulgent but felt lacking, and the risotto was pretty good but wouldn't get it again. The charcuterie board was an odd mix of cheeses but that's just a personal preference. The waitress was nice and it is a pretty place, but not somewhere I would go for any kind of special occasions.

My visit to Pane e Vino was outstanding with no misses. I've driven by this restaurant dozens of times with intentions of stopping for the past year. Well it finally happened. First the restaurant sits on a dead-end corner of a small complex but no real issues with parking. Their staff were friendly and greeted you immediately after entering. Pane e Vino's decor is contemporary and the lighting is low creating a nice upscale casual atmosphere. The dining room is somewhat small and the bar area is very inviting with plenty of craft cocktails on the drink menu. I had the Branzino which was perfectly cooked and topped with a tapenade that further added to the overall flavor of the dish. My filet was much larger than what I've received at most restaurants. I enjoy eating out and now have a new Italian favorite to add to my list.

What a true gem of a place we have found!! Seriously one of the best date nights ever when it comes to ambiance and food!! We were also blessed with the best waitress Laura! Ask for her when you go! If you don't eat anything else here, the cheese wheel pasta is the ONE thing you HAVE to have!! My husband and I both agreed it was the best pasta we have ever eaten! Truly! All pasta is made in house and with everything we tried you could tell the ingredients were FRESH!! We were treated sooo well for our anniversary with complimentary champagne and rose petals when we were seated. Such a fun date night atmosphere and we cannot wait to return! Truly a gem of a place!!!

I chose this spot for my birthday dinner and the food was pretty good. The restaurant is nicely decorated and separated in various sections. We started off with fresh bread with olive oil and got the fritto misto as an appetizer. It was tasty and we really enjoyed the spicy tomato sauce it came with. For entrees, we shared the prosciutto romesco pizza, fettuccine bolognese, and the mussels special with a side of spaghetti. The pizza is nice although it could use something like balsamic glaze or maybe some spicy peppers to add to the flavor. The bolognese was average and the mussels were good in a yummy white wine sauce. The side of spaghetti was absolutely drowning in butter which made it unpleasant towards the end of the meal. They finished us off with a slice of chocolate cake for my birthday which was nice. All in all the food was pretty good but our server had an odd attitude here and there throughout our meal. She seemed annoyed with simple requests like butter for the bread or more water.

Over rated. The food is not the best. The risotto with mushroom was rice with mushrooms. They charge you for extra bread.

We love coming here. We hadn't been here for a few months & some of the menu items have changed, including the table bread & apparently the saxophone player is no longer there My kid didn't like the Mac & Cheese or the chicken nuggets but the service was outstanding!

First time here for a work meeting. Everyone was super nice, nice. Our server was great! (I wish I remembered her name) Food was yummy! No complaints. I totally forgot to take a photo of my Angel pasta and shrimp (so guuuud) Vibe was great! Definitely coming back and this time, I'm bringing the wifey and kids.

The service is great. The restaurant is really pretty and flashy. Things I loved was their dessert. Definitely try the cannoli. It was perfect. The spaghetti with white wine was so delicious, I kept going back to sauce. My husband had the black spaghetti it was ok. The bread was delicious, tasted homemade.

What a beautiful restaurant. Very cozy vibe. I stopped in with my daughter-in-law for a glass of wine and a break from shopping. We sat at the bar and each ordered a glass from the by the glass side of the menu. The wine was nicely chilled. We shared an appetizer plate that included shrimp calamari and artichokes with marinara dipping sauce. It was perfect for two. There was also complimentary bread with a delicious herbed olive oil for dipping. The menu looked like it had a nice assortment of pastas, seafood and steaks. Service was good and the bartender friendly.

Great service. We celebrated our 11 yr anniversary here (reservations made). Everyone congratulated us and they set up our table with real those petals on the shape of a heart and served us complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Their hospitality is amazing. We order extra drinks (wine & martini) too. Food i had the squid ink pasta with seafood. It was good. My daughter loved her pasta bolognese with meat sauce. Husband had fish. Dessert was tiramisu. Overall I enjoyed my evening.

I really enjoy coming here and experiencing the delicious food, upscale dining environment, and the good wine selection. Service was great this evening- attentive and friendly. I started with the burrata appetizer. The burrata is so creamy and makes for a nice flavor when added with the prosciutto, balsamic and tomatoes. For my main, I tried a special they were offering - a flaky white flesh fish in a lemon sauce topped with crawfish and accompanied with vegetable ribbons. It was truly delicious.

Once again, we had an excellent dinner at Pane Vino. The food is always outstanding, and the staff is always warm and friendly. The environment is relaxing and elegant our waitress Neisser was always smiling and welcoming, and very attentive. This is truly a great restaurant and mainly because of the people that work there.

My go to here is the ravioli Lucia. I order it every time I go. I get that and the lemon drop. It's on of my most favorite meals ever! It's light and so lemony and the capers on the ravioli are perfect. We have ordered the burrata before also and that is delicious! My sons like the flat breads here and they are enough for two people to enjoy. The seating is a little tight so get a booth if you don't like close seating like me. Haha!

Great atmosphere. Great service. Incredible food. Everything from pasta to pizza. Even the Chicken Parmesan! The staff and management all treat you like family. Love this place.

Wow wow wow ........no no no. Welcome Yelpers to all that follow me and for the ones that are about to. As you can tell my scores typically read mid to high. So when I locate a place that is a 1 star, you might listen. Here we go.... Walked in and the atmosphere was pretty cool. Very fancy. The table top was, OMG I was already taking out a loan. Linen everywhere. The staff took a few minutes to get to me and then here we go. Wow, overbearing!!!! Three wait staff at the same time and I couldn't even understand a word they said. No English. Not Italian ether. Got my order in and about 40 minutes later got my food. 40 buck check for Chicken Alfredo and crown/coke. The amount served was soo small, it seemed like the child's portion. Don't go don't go. Bobby J signing off.

Another great meal! The staff are more attentive than many I've seen on a long time. Concierge, drink taker, bread bringer, water glass filler...amazing! We enjoyed one of the most sophisticated cocktails we've had in a LONG time! "The Italian Job" order it!!!

I can't believe this place exists in Richmond!! Soooo cute!! Great vibe! Excellent food! Our daughter, who NEVER EATS, ate an entire cheese pizza. We got the steak risotto and lasagna- both were excellent but the lasagna was the best I've ever had! Literally!! SOOO GOOD!! Will absolutely be back! (The lemoncello wasn't great...)

It's been a year since my first visit and since then I have gone back several times and each time I try different dishes to ensure this place has solidified itself as my go to Italian joint. I've noticed the menu has also received some updates too which is nice to see. A must try on the appetizer side is the Melanzane Allá Parmigiana which in English is eggplant Parmesan. So good! Cheesy, crunchy, soft. Hits all levels. I feel like their pizza has fell off a little. I recall their pizzas being more aligned to thin crust and I would eat an entire pie to myself with no shame. Recently got in 4 slices before I had to pack it up. Still delicious but I enjoy the thin crust more. Overall Pane E Vino is killing it and if you're not coming here to enjoy some good food and vibes, you're sleeping.

This is such a beautiful restaurant, so well decorated. Transports you back to Italy. Love that the patio area allows for a slightly quieter experience away from the live music. I ordered the lobster paparadelle. I thought it was ok. It's very much packed with lobster so the price is justified, but the flavors were subpar. I'd definitely come back once more and try their other pasta dishes. Their service was excellent! All the waiters and staff were so sweet and even took pictures of our group.

I have been three times now and every time is amazing! I have been in the bar seating and regular dining room seating and the service is always very attentive and friendly. Food is delicious, can't go wrong with anything!

I tasted some of the food my family ordered and I can't say this is my favorite Italian spot. I thought the pesto was too salty and the Parmesan pasta (rolled in the cheese wheel, was too overpowering and the truffle flavor was lost. The drink on the other hand was great! I had the "Mean Fulshear" cocktail and I want to make it my staple drink! Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance was nice too especially in the room we were in. Loved the decore.

From beginning to departure, they made us feel welcomed. They went above and beyond when I told them it was our anniversary and made the Mrs smile harder than I've seen before. The setting was very romantics and the food was soooo amazing. I've found my new il ristorante Italiano

This place has a great romantic atmosphere but also very chic and new. We went for dinner with family about an hour before they closed. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive. After we were seated the server brought over warm fresh basket of baguettes with a side of olive oil and Italian seasoning, wow, I couldn't stop eating it. For our meals, we ordered lobster bisque, pizza, lobster linguine, seafood bolognese, and chicken Marsella, all were delicious with lots of great flavors. The portions were also a good size. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend to all look for excellent upscale Italian cuisine.

Two stars for service. Went there tonight for the first time. We asked for a larger table instead of the small table for two and the lady said no. Not reason why. No apology. Nothing. There were tons of tables available. No one ever sat in them. They have an entire room with empty tables that are ten steps away and they don't seat anyone there. Silly. Poor customer service. Not accommodating to guests. Food was average. Their oil that they bring out with the bread tasted rancid. Pasta was pretty good. The hazelnut dessert was good as well. But you need better service when people can go anywhere else for better Italian food.

The atmosphere is great. Very warm and welcoming. The short ribs were amazing, the meat just fell apart and the risotto was OMG!! Amazing. The Lobster pasta was excellent. Large pieces of fresh lobster. The taste was mind blowing. The limoncello spritz was perfect. Will definitely be back!!!

Very nice restaurant. We stumbled upon this restaurant when we were out shopping at the garden center. Food is amazing, the drinks are perfect. Great experience.

Wonderful food and service! The special lobster cream pasta with spinach gnocchi was good, but I preferred the lobster pasta from the traditional menu. The desserts were all great and it had a very cozy vibe!

Absolutely incredible Italian food--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We started with the burrata and prosciutto--creamy, delicate, and perfectly paired. The pasta Ravioli Lucia was perfectly cooked, (I added truffle) and the tiramisu was the best I've ever had. Warm atmosphere! We got an excellent service provided by Laura and made the night even better. Can't wait to come back!

Atmosphere is nice, fancy setting. However, waiter was very pushy and tried to put drinks on my tab that I didn't order. And then ended up putting other items on my tab that I didn't order anyways. I've been to really nice authentic Italian places in Houston and I would say this place food doesn't come close. The presentation of the food is nice, but the food is okay for taste. Bread is $6 a basket according to the menu. I don't recommend this place.

My comments are mainly related to personal interaction with GM. I have eaten there twice and it's ok but quite noisy. I'm retired but a volunteer fundraiser for a youth sport's team. For two years now my reception has been on the rude side. Last year, the manager said the GM handles these requests so she would get him. After that I was ignored. He never came out or sent a message with his staff on when he might be available. I finally left after nearly a half hour. Maybe a bad day? Sent an email, no response. This year the same request but I asked to speak with him upon arrival. This was not at dinner or at lunch but mid afternoon. I had already emailed information to him so I asked to speak with him directly. Now I was asked if I had an appointment. Of all the dozens and dozens calls I've made, I've never been asked to make an appointment for a 2 (max 5) minute conversation. Simply ridiculous. I'd already sent a proposal to him and was just following up and let the manager know that. She went to check with him. Most of the time, the GM will come and talk or have the staff let me know when a better time might be. Not this gentleman... prefers the passive aggressive non verbal approach. It was clear to me after a few minutes, de ja vous. When I make these visits, I hope to get a sponsorship, but I don't expect one. I also understand that they have a business to run first and foremost. However, I expect my time to be respected as well. This person could care less. Gladly, I can say he's the exception since most GMs are cordial whether or not they will move forward. They care about the community from which their customers come ...which clearly he does not. I won't be back for food or for any reasons to this place.

Excellent Italian food! The chicken Parm was just like I remember growing up back east! The pasta in the marina was very good. Service excellent ambience was wonderful.

This is the best Italian food and the best hospitality in the Houston burbs. I'm from Chicago and made a reservation at a well known area restaurant for my parents anniversary. That unnamed restaurant canceled on us. We made a last minute reservation at Pane e Vino. It was works class. We lived in Milano, Italy for many years. THIS PLACE is a total gem!!!! They got us in, decorated the table with rose petals, everyone that walked past our table wishes my parents a happy anniversary. It was the most special dinner they could have had. We had the carpaccio, lobster pasta, branding and salmon. We finished with tiramisu. Every dish was amazing!!! We lived in Italy and this food was so authentic. Also the space is beautiful. The staff are amazing. Thank you for such a wonderful night.

This place is a little piece of Italy in Katy Texas. The music selection was great. Customer service so polite and prompt, they gave wine recommendations that were excellent choices! The booths were super comfy with a cute little lamp on each table. The lunch special was a salad, entree and glass of wine for $29. The patio is a vibe! But they seat the patio Friday-Sunday. Freshest ingredients! I'll certainly be back

Everything was amazing! The food perfecto and Sebastian very detail oriented didn't skip a beat while we were here. Pure excellence.

We dined here twice, but will not be returning. The ambiance, music, desserts, and drinks are wonderful. But the quality of food is just not fitting the price range and the expectations. With the exception of prime rib dish, the food was bland, cold, extremely salty, not the fine dining quality at all. More of a frozen dish heated in a microwave style. There never was a moment like "Wow, this is amazing", and more like "It's ok, I would never order this again". There is definitely no chef's touch, no special signature, no mouthwatering flavors, or mind blowing sauces. The service is also not on the level of a restaurant where you would spend several hundred dollars. Rushed, sometimes inattentive, nothing of a memorable experience. The waitstaff would forget what we asked them for. We really wanted to love this place because it's close to home, but unfortunately it did not happen.

My mom was so excited to pick out a new place to go to in Katy. Upon entering, the restaurant had a cool, family / date-night vibe to it. For appetizer, we shared the crostini di gramchio (0/5). The crab meat had absolutely no flavor- if at all it had a weird after taste. Normally, I do not waste, but I could not force my self to ever eat that again. After we received our entrees of risotto di carne (3/5) and veal parmigiana (3/5), not once did our waitress come to check on us. We tried making eye contact numerous times to get her attention...nothing. The only reason I didn't give this place 1 star is because the entrees were okay. Would not recommend.

The food was amazing. The server is very nice and helpful. I ordered cheese wheel pasta and meat lover pizza. The pasta is amazing. The pizza is a little salty. They offered to replace the pizza. I declined since I already ate 2 slices. Overall the experience is very good.
