Great Italian food in Hollywood. Tuscan soup, wood grilled eggplant, and duck pappardelle were awesome. Especially the duck pappardelle, it was the best thing we had. Amitriciana wasn’t the best but everything else made up for it. We will definitely be back.

My visits to Hollywood to see family is never complete unless we pay a visit to Pane E Vino. Great tasting food and service. Always look forward to a great plate of Pasta and an Italian beer!

Went last weekend and was not disappointed! Ordered the Bruscetta and Burrata for apps. Both really delicious! Their house Pinot Noir was very good. If you’re a Pesto lover, be sure to order their pesto dish. Finished dinner off with Limoncello shots, which they make in house. Service was fast and friendly, even sitting at the bar. I will definitely come back when I am in the area.

We decided to wing it the night before valentines and try something new. Got there and had to wait a short amount of time to sit at the bar. We ordered mussels, pasta, surf and turf, fish, tiramisu and our own version of a wine flight. The meal was nothing short of superb. You could tell the wait staff was busy but everyone seemed to know what needed to be done and pitched in performing what seemed like multiple roles. If you haven’t been; go. We will be back for sure many times. So glad there is such a good restaurant 15 minutes away! We have found our new go to spot!

The restaurant exceed our expectations. It is out of the way from Charleston but well worth the drive. The soup, appetizers, and main course were well portioned and flavorful. The dessert was a nice way to finish the evening. A definite must visit. Our server, Michael, was very knowledgeable and attentive.

I never write bad reviews but my experience was horrible. The employ apologized for our experience when I called him to report the incident but then stated that he could not refund me bc they had already closed out the money for the night.?? I was just there 20 minutes ago & there were still lots of people there. He was very nice but not sure he was being honest. My food was horrible & our waiter was hateful & could care less when I sent my meal back. I was told the owner was there but he never came by to say anything to me. When I called after I left the employ first stated they didn’t have a manager there & the owner was too busy fixing a plumbing problem to speak to me??? Owner needs to have a talk with his staff about how to handle food being sent back. I would have addressed it while I was there but I just kept waiting for it to be addressed by them …Then I was embarrassed to cause a scene. That’s why I called after I left. It was never about the money. It was about how they handled it. If you can’t be pleasant & at least smile you have no business being a waitress in my opinion.

We celebrated my amazing husband's birthday there tonight. I had the rack of lamb and David had the duck leg pappardelle and mushrooms. Both were delicious. They gave us a complimentary limoncello,house made, for David's birthday. A lovely evening.

Went to this wonderful little Italian restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Frank was our waiter and he was wonderfully attentive, brought us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne and recited all of the specials ingredient by ingredient. After ordering a gin and tonic and a special made mudslide, we ordered the duck leg with mushroom pappardelle and the lasagna with bolognese. Both incredible. We had tiramisu for dessert and Italian coffee. Excellent. I’d recommend a relaxing, delicious evening at Pane e Vino.

This was a wonderful home feel restaurant. Our server Nikki was wonderful and gave great recommendations for the menu. The Aperol spritz was wonderful and well poured. The muscles were a really delight. We ordered it with pesto and baguette for dipping. Honestly the star dish of the evening. The pizza was fresh with a great crust. The pasta sauce and meat was delicious! Overall, a great place. Get here early and enjoy!

Pane e Vino Incredible Italian cuisine!! Power Packed Smaller Restaurant with open kitchen next to the Bar!! The various food smells just makes my mouth water when I come in the door and my stomach is yearning to have this delicious Italian cuisine!! Service here is on point and the Staff is trained well by the owner/chef!! I love the Lasagna Alla Sergione and my better half loves the Spaghetti Alla Bolognese!! Plus the Gnocchi here is fantastic for your entree! We usually like to start with either the Calamari or the Insalata Caprese!! Easy 5 Stars Thank you Chef Alfredo!!

MAKE A RESERVATION. We made that mistake and got seated outside on a rainy night, though they did their best to keep us dry. Don't underestimate this place because it's in Hollywood! All of our food was good as was the service. I've heard the pizza is where it's at though! (They only do it certain nights) it was quite loud inside by the time we finished our meal and were heading out. This might be more of a to go spot for us!

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant in Hollywood. So nice to be able to get very good Italian food without having to get into all of the mess of traffic all of the northern transplants have brought to the low country! The atmosphere is very ambient with dim, but not too dark lighting and the staff is very knowledgeable and nice. We will definitely be back!

Food was good. Cocktails were delicious. However, they willingly gave us a reservation for a table of 13 (11 adults and 2 children) at 7 PM. I 100% understand this is a busy time - if you are/were unable to accommodate a party this large with the staff that you have, I think we all would have rather simply had the reservation rescheduled for a different time or cancelled and eaten elsewhere. We waited 45 minutes to /order/ drinks, watched our waiter drink whiskey, cocktails, and shots (and also pick up the slack from the other waiters and waitresses) while we tried to entertain two children for over an hour and a half before we received appetizers. If it's that busy in the kitchen, would you not at least offer bread for the two hangry kids under six years old? We didn't know this was an option at the time - we would've happily paid for it. We received some half-hearted apologies for the wait from our waiter, but no updates the entire night on the status of any of our food. The girls that served our water were wonderful, however the majority of the other staff appeared either overwhelmed or unbothered. Overall, it took four hours before we were able to pay for the check and leave. In summary: good food, but I would not recommend dining here if you have a large party, even if you have a reservation. Will not be coming back.

An invitation to celebrate a friend's birthday led us to this hidden gem nestled in the heart of downtown Hollywood, SC which is quite different than the Hollywood I am used to (Just moved here from Cali)! There was no walk of fame, no sunset strip, and no Hollywood sign. Instead we were surrounded by countryside views, lush greenery, and this amazing spot. Located in what used to be a fire house, you would never know it- it's so cozy and cute inside! From the crispy calamari to the comforting Gnocchi Alla Sorentina, one bite was more delicious than the next. And the best part? We shared this meal with new friends who appreciate good food as much as we do...making this night truly a celebration to remember! Service was fantastic too. We had an excellent meal last evening. We started with a single plate of Fried Calamari which my wife and I shared. The calamari were fresh & lightly breaded. For our main courses, I had the Risotto with sausage & my wife had the lamb cutlets. Both meals were very tasty. My wife asked for rare lamb cutlets & they were cooked to perfection.I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was very attentive & our waiter gave very good suggestions on the food & wine.

Delicious food and relaxing atmosphere, if you like a more meaty lasagna there's is amazing. The service was great as well

A place off the beaten path but well worth the trip to Hollywood. It doesn't always pop up on my radar but it should be a regular date night. (West Ashley resident) The food is always great and the specials are special! The house wines are above avg and d if you like something stronger they have a full bar. Ii need to try pizza night and find out how their brick oven turns out pies.

This place has it all if you want great like your Italian grandmothers cooking! You feel right at home when you enter the relaxing ambiance and delicious aromas coming from the visible kitchen. The design was clever occupying a historic fire station in Hollywood. This was our second visit and we were thrilled to get English the unforgettable server we had on our first visit months ago. English makes you feel right at home knowledgeable about everything on the menu wonderful smile and warm charming personality. One of the dishes was not to Mom"s liking and English quickly suggested another and replaced it with another hot delicious pasta dish in minutes! Incredible service incredible food all the reason to go here and Enjoy!!!!!!!

Busy place but staff is attentive. Food portions were perfect and excellent. We did not have a reservation but we're seated immediately at the bar.

We can't even begin to give enough gratitude to this exceptional establishment. An authentic Italian restaurant, offering excellence in food and service. Thank you Frank ( our server), support staff, and of course the culinary artisans who create delicious bites of happiness, making one's taste buds dance through the gazpacho to the gelato or one of the many other made on site and from scratch, desserts. A locals secret that needs to be just that... Pane e Vino is a full service authentic Italian restaurant with typical European ambiance and would also be a great place for dessert and coffee or an after dinner drink. Pizza is served only on Tuesdays and Fridays, can't wait to partake.

We all had a great time last night, Service by Lena was fantastic she was very helpful and attentive. The only reason for 4 stars was that the lemon & butter in Sole dish was too much ( some may like it that way). We will definitely be back.

Service was not great. The menu was not remarkable and nothing special. We were hoping it would be as good as their downtown restaurant was but it wasn't. They advertised half price appetizers but that's only if you sit outside. Also a disappointment.

They charge for bread first of all and no one mentioned that fact and it does not state that on their menu. The reason for the fee is because it is hard to get bread to their new location. The gnocchi was delicious, however, it would have been even better if it was hot. They also charge a credit card fee transaction. Bummer that this scored so low for me, it smelled wonderful.

My husband and I love this place. We went on opening night in their new locale in Hollywood, SC. It was a prefix menu so we had the chance to try several things. Our faves were their carpaccio, and the pesto (yum, need to go in a jar for me to take it home). Their cheesecake is simple but creamy delicious. The food reminds me of Italy, small portions, good flavor, but simple flavors. Maybe not Americanized as we are used to?? We have been 3 times, and I always save room for his limoncello....

4.5/5!! The food was amazing. Caesar salad was Bruschetta was pretty good, just not enough bread for it!!! Our entrees were delicious. The service was ok, had to use patience with some things. But will be back, very yummy! If you're thinking about trying it, do!

It all went downhill tonight... sausage on pizza was raw ( hard from frozen maybe) funky taste too... 2 tables came way after us and we still didn't get served our pizza, while everyone else is finishing up.. my husband decided to take it to go and we're still nice about it but no explanation why it took forever - maybe forgot our order? .. we got home and excited to eat our pizza - they are 2 regular sized pizza but they're not sliced!!and to make it worse, it tasted bad - great! Really disappointed with pane e vino tonight!! We Will not be back ..

I'm reluctant to share my review because I don't want this gem to loose its charm. What a special treat to have such a wonderful restaurant in Hollywood! We kicked off our meal with Caprese salad...the mozzarella cheese was fresh and tasty. I had the lobster ravioli - total indulgence. The house made pasta was outstanding, and the tomato sauce was delicious. My friend had the Ossobuco - roasted pork. It looked delicious...I couldn't sample any because I was up to my elbows in ravioli. We split a dessert of Panna Cotta with cherry...oh my! Heaven exploded in my mouth. I can't wait to return to try more of the menu. Service was spot on...appropriately friendly and informative. Serving portions were generous, and pricing was more than reasonable. I'll return before driving to Johns Island or downtown CHS for outstanding Italian cuisine. Enjoy, and tip your server.

The food is excellent, the service is terrific. The entire staff seem to have only one objective, pleasing the customer! Would suggest that patrons who have visited before take visiting guest to enjoy this hidden gem!

Random stop on our East Coast road trip - what an amazing find! Had the spaghetti alla scoglio, ossobucco, and ensalata caprina - all prepared to perfection. Service was also lovely. Definitely worth a stop if you're traveling between Charleston and Savannah.

Visited here as a recommendation. Our waitress recommended the muscles as an appetizer and they were good but the portion size was huge. There were three of us and we weren't able to finish it. Came with bread. For my main I had the saltimbocca alla romana which was great. The cheese on top of the chicken breast did look, feel, and taste like they simply melted sliced cheese on it but it was still tasty and I cleaned my plate. Had a slice of cheesecake which was great and had blueberries on it that had a very nice snap to them; almost felt candied. Kind of located in the middle of nowhere but definitely worth checking out.

Been here twice. This is a gem In downtown Hollywood. The food is delicious..... we also went back On a Tuesday for pizza night - again delicious. Good service .... If there is one thing I would Like to say it's this: when people go to a restaurant they expect to be greeted with smiles Conversation - that's the only thing I feel this place is missing. Everyone was nice but I did not, either time, feel that we were greeted as we should Be...,, I watched as others came in. Same experience- but other than that (super easy fix) everything was great.

Taste the difference~Wood fire cooked to perfection. Sauces & toppings combinations that will have you coming back for more. Seriously wish Pizza could be more than 1 day a week. Our new favorite-the ANITA Pizza (lemon crema, ham, grilled artichoke hearts, sauteed onions and fresh rosemary) Who knew ingredients would be so fabulous! The Pesto is fantastic too!

Our family is always on the lookout for great restaurants and when it is literally 5 minutes from our new home, we are there for it. Easy to make Sunday brunch reservations The service was friendly and quick. The food was fantastic! Everyone had something different so we could taste... except one person who hogged his French toast. Guess it was good because it was gone, gone, gone. Entree prices were reasonable but the drink prices were a little high, they were also yum so we weren't hatin'. We will be back! New favorite brunch place for sure!

Service was fantastic and the food is unbelievable. The lasagna is the best I've ever had. My coworker lives near by and we continually bribe him to stop and get take out for the office. We love this place!!!

Pan e Vino it is amazing having one of Charleston's best restaurants just down the road in Hollywood, SC. It is our go to place for family celebrations. My husband and I feel it is the best Italian in the Charleston area. Alfredo is an amazing chef. So whether it is a family and friends get together for a quiet dinner for two you won't be disappointed. Seafood, pasta, duck, risotto, whatever you get, you know it will be good.

So I'm starting with only 3 stars as 4 or 5 I just don't give out easily! The service is good but the food was sub-par but they are new so we will try again and I'll adjust my review after that. For now, I got the bruschetta as an app and the bread was sitting in oil and very difficult to bite through. I had to work it. The tomatoes seems fresh. I got the penne dish with the sausage and husband got the saltimbocca. My dish was pretty good but the sausage was not spicy like the description. Regardless it was good. Hubbies dish not so much!!! It was a piece of chicken under way too much cheese and lots of oil. They seem to like to add oil to all their dishes but that does nothing other than make it oily with no flavor! I'd prefer butter! The potatoes were just ok.

We decided to try something outside of town. Cozy and friendly inside. Charcuterie board came out with just meat and bread so we decided not to try anything else.

Have been to Pane Vino many times and have never been disappointed. Chef Alfredo keeps a watchful eye over every detail and it shows. We have a large family and when they come to visit, one of the main things they want to do is go to Pane Vino as a group. Just excellent on all fronts.

Wow!! Absolutely the best Italian food I've had on a long time! All good is fresh and delicious!! It is worth the drive for an amazing meal! The staff are awesome. The owner even stopped by to say hi.

Good food close to home. I just want a better experience with wine selection. I felt like our waitress didn't want to sell me anything when I was ready to have a nice bottle and share it with my husband. Maybe next time.

The food quality was much better when it was downtown. Ate here recently and while the service was excellent, the food was way overcooked and tough.

Cute and easy atmosphere. Wait staff very nice but the food was very tiny portions. You are charged for bread and using a credit card. If you see MP ask... you should ask the size of the fish or portion and what their market price is. My husband and I left hungry (I'm 120 lbs)...we are not big people. We ate when we got home. The drive was not worth what we ate/drank because of portion sizes. Unfortunately, everyone agreed they will not go back. Employees were great as long as you do not complain.

The food, service and wine were all great. I'm Celiac with additional food allergies and they went above and beyond to ensure my safety!

I was not thrilled with the food, nor the price. We did get it to go due to COVID and my husband's health. we will give it another try. Most of what we ordered, from pork to calculating was over cooked. It was not the quality for the price. Portion sizes were fine. The pork chop was actually pretty darn huge to me, but way over cooked. Not what I expected for what is supposed to be a top notch dining place. We ordered 4 entrees and 2 appetizers to go. It about $130. Seems rather over priced for the quality.

Friendly service and an interesting building in an old firehouse. Fair pricing but our was lacking in any flavors we would expect from an Italian restaurant.

Pane e Vino closed on Warren Street in Charleston but recently re-opened in Hollywood in an old firehouse. Alfredo and his staff opened in May 2021 and they have hit it out of the park! He had served me over the years on Warren; since discovering his new place we visited the other day and the food was fantastic. He greeted us like familia and treated us like royalty. The menu is succinct and familiar to us. We both had versions of the fish. Wine list is intensely Italian with some real gems. His staff were warm and caring- especially English who took great care of us. Looking forward to more- the drive is well worth it, especially from West Ashley, Kiawah and Stono.

It was a Tuesday night, so I gave them a try ordered the pizza just how I like it and the pizza had that authentic Italian taste, it came out crispy without asking only wish it was bigger. Would definitely recommend

Good place for Italian food! The service was excellent along with the menu options. I loved my Penne entree and the calamari appetizer. The cannoli was excellent!

Amazing food! You have to get the tirimisu! Lasagna was the best in Charleston. Came here for a birthday dinner & our host was great about that!

We went here for dinner and we're so disappointed. I'm really not one to leave a negative review but this was an exception. We ordered 3 appetizers: the soup, fried mushrooms, and fried calamari. Everything was under seasoned and really needed acid, the fried apps tasted like breading, not the actual food that should have been showcased. The mushrooms probably could have used a sauce to make them less dry but other than that were just not great. We got the risotto: it was not a creamy risotto, basically an oily hamburger helper. The pesto was super oily but the pasta itself was ok, and the sole dish was over sauced and oily. I don't understand why they are relying so heavily on oil. Hopefully they rethink their recipes because I can't recommend anything they put out. It was downtown prices for disappointing food.

All I can say is this place is amazing! Great food! Fantastic service. Highly recommended! Go there!
