California Fast Food Workers Just Landed a Big New Union Deal | Eater LA

"I noticed Panera Bread was explicitly exempted from the new fast-food labor agreement because it’s classified as a bakery that sells standalone bread, and the article notes it’s unclear why bread-selling chains like Panera were excluded." - Matthew Kang

Spacious! Almost cafeteria-like in its rectangular customer area, where everyone can see each other. Strawberry lemonade & brownie we ordered was good like most others.

Sandwich was not bad. Mac N Cheese is super creamy, which I like. The only thing that is not good about this store, is the location. It is tucked in to a small block, and when traveling northbound, it will take a while to cross the street during rush hour.

The staff was friendly and patiently waited as the special ones figured out what thames wanted to eat. Drive thru was fast and so was pick up. I will definitely be doing pick up next time with the group I was with. Good was hot and delicious. 🥳 for the cleaned and stocked restrooms.

I went to Panera Bread’s drive-thru on Cooper in Arlington today around 1pm. It’s been a while since I’ve been there. One of my former employees suggested I try the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, so that’s what I ordered first. I also asked to order a side of Green Goddess salad dressing. The lady at the speaker told me I couldn’t order it unless I also ordered food. I said, “Well, I ordered a lemonade.” She replied that it had to be a food item, because she couldn’t sell me a side of dressing. She explained that if I ordered a salad or sandwich, then she could give me the dressing on the side for free. I told her I wasn’t asking for anything free, I was completely willing to pay for it. I asked again if I could just order a side of dressing, and she said she didn’t have a button to ring it up. When I asked for a manager, she told me she was the manager and that her name was Destiny. At that point, I just thanked her and drove off. I don’t understand how a salad and sandwich place can’t sell a small 1–2 oz cup of dressing. Is that really valid? Is your POS system truly set up this way, or was the manager not trained properly? It doesn’t seem worth losing a sale (and now receiving a bad review) over something so simple. I definitely would’ve been a returning customer, but this experience turned me off. Please advise.

Great attention to detail. Friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent. The small things are the most overlooked by a chef but often times the most important. My breakfast was prepared perfectly. As an experienced restaurateur, I could see they take good care of the kitchen as well as the service. I will return.

As usual, the food at Panera Bread is typically good, and freshly prepared. At 10:00 on a Wednesday, there were surprisingly several people there, and more waiting behind me. I went to buy a gift card for the family of some accident victims, and decided to have a spinach and artichoke souffle with a cup of hot green tea with ginger and honey. The food was warm and looked good. After I paid for the food, I also purchased the gift card. The staff working the register couldn't figure out how to make it work. Seven minutes and a manager later, I went to get my hot water and tea. No hot water. Fortunately, a worker happened to be passing by and got some hot water for me. It's hard to get, and keep, good help. Finally, after sitting down to a semi-warm souffle, I enjoyed the snack.

Google
I have always enjoyed their fresh food, the quality and how unique their menu is, talkless of their fresh bakery and bread. Lately I’ve been enjoying the Sip Club, it’s a game changer since I love coffee, I can have as many coffees as I want a day.

Google
I ordered the pick 2 through the drive thru and lady charged me for each individual item, I also requested extra sauce and she put no sauce. I then go back into the drive thru to get sauce and sit in my car and watch workers stand around while I am waiting. After waiting too long i then go into the building and ask for manager. She states she is the manager and I advise her of me being over charged and no one assisting me in drive thru, she says well I repeated it back to you. And gives me sauce. Your management and customer service is horrible at this locations. Won’t be back

Yelp
Always love Panera. Today I Tried the beef ciabatta dipper. It was really good. The onion dip was so flavorful. The sandwich was all the things: cheesy, warm, crunchy, lots of flavor. I would def get it again! I always like to grab something sweet when I'm at Panera. Today the chocolate cheesecake bites caught my eye. These were not good. They were dry and didn't tasted good at all. Very disappointed in these, since Panera has some of the best baked goods! I would not get these ever again. Other than that, my meal was enjoyable.

Yelp
Giving Panera Bread a try again it has been a while. I am glad we went I ordered the half sandwich and soup. The limited time Beef Dipper sandwich it was very good. The Au Ju was the onion soup. I had the potato soup it was good but a little thin. Also, great potato chips. The sandwich had plenty of meat that is a must for me since the price is high. We went back a few weeks later and I tried the Toasted Italiano. Very good as well. I like my sandwich toasted. This time I tried the chili it I was a good choice. I also had a free cookie yummy. I got the cookie by joining their app. This location is nice and clean parking is in the back so a little walk. Good service and food was made fresh and hot.

Yelp
Panera has gotten rid of most everything good on the menu... and what they do have for the most part lasts luster. Small portions, Large prices. Store was clean for the most part, drink area was sticky and filthy. Cherry Pastry was delicious, along with their papaya green tea and Mac and Cheese! The mediterranean greens and grains salad was sub par. Would rather just get the greek salad. They have cut costs majorly and it's showing. Service was good and quick.

Jamesa S.

Yelp
I went there on the way to the mall and the customer service was AMAZING, the lady helped me figure out what i wanted to eat by me just telling her what i liked! we also got a pick two and forgot to ask for chips instesd of bread and they swapped it no charge! The ladies checked up on us to see how we were doing and It was awesome! Thank you panera on COOPER! best one by far

Yelp
This is one of my family's top favorite restaurants. They have a great selection of healthy options and I love trying their new menu items when they become available. We order delivery about once a week and the food is always fresh and the right temperature. If an item is no longer available, I get notified to make another selection. Awesome customer service. When dining in, the restaurant is bright and clean, and the team is always friendly and strive to ensure our order is always correct.

Ava W.

Yelp
Jayden took care of our order tonight and was very helpful showing us ways we could save. She also was overall very sweet and kind.

Matt S.

Yelp
Excessively long wait time at drive through (only 1 car in front of me); and when I arrived home with my order, I found they shorted me a baguette that was supposed to come with my order. It's so aggravating to pay for something and not receive it.
google avatar

Yelp
I never really review major chains because the food is typically the same no matter where you are. But the service at this location deserves a shout-out. There must've been at least a hundred people who came here at the same time, in between VNL matches. This crew handled the crowd with such professionalism, even smiling as people kept asking where their order was (when there's a board posting orders in the sequence they were being filled). My order was perfect; and I had to ask for no nuts due to allergy, in addition to being tasty and filling. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Panera can do no wrong in my eyes. People complain about the prices, but for the quality of ingredients I'll pay extra. I stopped in on this particular visit to redeem my daily drink from the Unlimited subscription and to redeem my free birthday pastry. Ordering on the app is always super simple and the staff is prompt with bringing your food out curbside. They were out of the pecan twist so they brought out two lemon drop cookies to compensate. Entire process was about 4 minutes even on a Saturday. Panera, you're alright with me. No pic but the Strawberry Mint Tea is great!

A P.

Yelp
The lawsuits costs for the caffeinated drinks must be wreaking havoc on Panera's bottom line. To make it work, they are cutting costs across the board and it shows. Their sandwiches are just sad now. Their "enhanced" updates include cold pieces of cheese and a disappointing replacement for the retired Turkey Avocado BLT. This new rubber chicken sandwich is a fail. It tasted like Faux chicken. It looks like lab made meat. The texture and its resistance to being heated in the microwave are a tell. The TA-BLT was on sourdough. This replacement sandwich is on white bread sliced so thin, you can see through it. The worst part was how soggy some of it was because of the condiments and veggie juices. The sandwich at least had some flavor. Their salads are a pitiful portion. 11.00 for 1/2 of what the portion size was in the past. Smaller containers, faux meat, thin soggy bread and the bill was $50.00 and that was with a promo! I know time are hard for businesses and food prices make it even that more challenging, but FR? They must think that true lovers of the old Panera won't notice that we get less for our money and what we do get isn't appetizing. Another one bites the dust. That was my last light bill money for a meal that ended up in the trash. McAllisters is consistently on point and I need to just accept that Panera is going the way of Macaroni Grill and TGIFs. I didn't get the million dollar cookies with this order because they taste like grocery store brands to me now. Overly processed and no longer fresh and made with the best ingredients. Save your money and your palate.

Yelp
I ordered a bowl of broccoli and cheddar soup to go with a side of the French baguette. My order did not take long to fill and picked it up shortly. I realized that it's better to park at the lot next to the drive thru otherwise you have to use the drive thru to get out or leave the wrong way. When I got there I noticed the bakery had a pumpkin muffin, so I picked one up. The soup was simple but filled with cheesy goodness. The pumpkin muffin was crisp and full of flavor.

Yelp
Panera has changed a little bit post-Covid, but this location seems to still be doing well. The drive thru line was full, moving quick, and cafe was well attended also. It wasn't quick self-ordering at the kiosks inside. I was behind two people who weren't sure how to pay with their cards. They didn't have staff visible at the counter, but I should have walked over and tried that for quicker ordering. After I was able to order, my food was quick! My last visit to a Panera (on University Dr in Ft Worth), it took us a full 15-20mins to get our order. This Arlington location must have had a full kitchen staff and pushed out orders quick and efficiently. My food was good, as Panera usually is, and I'll likely come back to this location. The soup and salad at Panera is always a favorite of mine!

Yelp
Never ever again. Spent way too much money for what I had in that bag after my drive home. That pepperoni melt is FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! DO NOT ORDER THAT. I don't have much to say but NOPE!!! Too mad to even give details. See the pics.

Kristina M.

Yelp
Dylan was wonderful! He was kind and patient, and thorough in the review of the fairly large order. Everything tasted great! (Would have enjoyed more meat on the Italiano like I've had at other Panera's but it was yummy.)

Yelp
Gotta love Panera! The rapid pickup has been so quick and convenient time and time again! You don't even have to talk to anyone. Just find the bag with your last name on it on their "rapid pick-up shelf" and go! So simple and really helps when you're in a rush! You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Their hasn't been one item I've tried that I wouldn't get again. And trust me, I've tried A LOT of their food.

Yelp
One of my fav fast food restaurants.. I just recently became a Panera Bread fan, Chick-fil-A was under construction and there was a Panera Bread next to it so I tried it and mannnnnn was I impress!! This place definitely don't get the attention it deserves .. The Food : Fresh healthy choices, very tasty, plethora of options , SALADS SALADS SALADS!! The portion size is great! The customer service : Excellent! Very courteous and helpful if you're not familiar with the menu. Recommendations: Egg white and Spinach , 4 cheese Soufflé , and try every SALAD!! MAPLE GLAZED WRAP IS MY FAV WRAP-PERIOD !

Yelp
Panera as a whole continues to go downhill and this location is definitely bottom of the barrel. They are unable to get a simple order of an untoasted bagel correct. The manager here does nor even care about customer satisfaction either so don't expect any problems to be fixed. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Yelp
This is my home base Panera. My HQ for any quick fix of Panera when I'm by my house. We love to come here for a healthy quick dinner or a lunch. I've never had any major issues with this Panera, so we keep coming back. Those kiosks know me on a first name basis because I go there so much. Great selection of pastries, soups, sandwiches, etc. I tried their new soba dish recently as well (it was decent for a place like this). Love their Pick 2 always and our food always comes out so fast. Great place to study or have a quiet meal to yourself since there are booths with outlets.

Trey H.

Yelp
Food was decent except for the fact my bun on my sandwich was completely cold and the chicken was somewhat warm, but it seems they just totally neglected to even try to warm or toast the bun. Then on top of that the apple served with my meal was rotten on the inside. So I would like this meal a lot more if the food was more evenly warmed and the apple wasn't rotten.
google avatar

Hi L.

Yelp
We need some place not too crowded and the food were tasty. Good place and good prices!

Yelp
Was really looking forward to a hot grilled cheese, the cheese was burned-would have returned it ASAP if I hadn't gone through the drive-thru. Sad, why would the cook think this is ok to send out. Gave a 2nd star because my soup was hot. Terribly disappointed.

Yelp
I'm a regular customer here. I am a rewards member as well. I also used to work for Panera years ago and at this location. So I was a bit upset tonight because I ordered a Frontega Chicken Sandwich and Bowl of Chicken noodle soup. The soup was fine, however I was not happy with the sandwich. Like I said, I used to work here so I know how everything should be prepared. And so I know that the frontega chicken always comes on ciabatta bread. If the bread runs out, the employees are supposed to inform the customer and ask them which substitution bread they would like instead. I wasn't informed about anything and was very upset when I unwrapped my sandwich and it was on regular wheat bread. I am a regular customer and spend so much money at panera and I was upset because I was expecting something and received something entirely different. I was starving and this was just not up to par. I never leave bad reviews either, but I really just had to this time. The food is usually good but today was terrible. I know that after the restaurant closes, they donate the leftover bread at night. But this is only after they are closed. It felt like they threw the bread away already and picked through the left overs to put my sandwich together. It was very sloppy and not toasted properly. 0/10‼

Yelp
Everything all the way up until the food pick up went well. The first thing that happened was my buzzer went off, I went up to get my order. Only half of my Pick 2 was ready. No worries, it'll be coming up in a few seconds, right? Nope. It took me about 30 seconds of standing there looking like an idiot at the pickup line efore finally it came. A second issue. The mac and cheese I ordered came out cold. I don't mean warmish, when most people say "cold". I mean it's the coldest thing I've I forgotten that's supposed to be hot, from any restaurant, in the history of me going to any restaurant. Bear in mind that I was to eat my mac and cheese FIRST, so it's not like I ate the sandwich first and then 5 minutes later ate the mac and cheese (not that it wouldn't even get that cold because it was below room temperature!). I took it back to the order pick up area, one of the line employees asked what was wrong, I told her. I believe she may have given me a token apology before taking it back. Waited a good four, maybe five minutes, so I go back up to the line to check on what's taking so long. Pretty much when I got up there, the shift supervisor was there and the mac and cheese I could see was coming out, so she handed it over to me. I complain that my sandwich was now cold, because I didn't want to eat the sandwich without my mac and cheese. She then asked if I wanted it repeated, too. At that point, I just didn't want to deal with anyone else there, so I said, "No". She said, "Okay". It's not over. Taking a bite of the mac and cheese left my mouth scolded. It seems they went too far the other direction and overheated it. Literally, tongue is now burnt and has the bumps on it because it was he did so high or so long in the microwave. My tongue doesn't burn any easier than anybody else's and normally this never happens. Needless to say, aside from getting freebies, I won't ever be coming to this location again.

Yelp
Fun fact, this place does a really cool program where churches and non profits can get the leftover bread. Pretty cool. I don't know all the details, but I know it exists. I enjoy going to this location to study (see my Tip regarding outlets). It is generally quiet, with ample space. I appreciate the view overlooking Cooper Street. On a sunny day, it's nice. The majority of the parking is in the back, though if you are lucky you can steal one up front. The spaces are nice and wide too. I am a bit obsessive about not getting my baby door dinged, so this is a BIG PLUS. The food has always been good for me at this location, and the staff has been kind when I engage them. Generally, they are a bit more disconnected than at most other locations. This place has the self service kiosk system perfected. It's located well, always has buzzers and staff doesn't aggrevate you. Occassionally they come by with samples. Gotta love that.

B T.

Yelp
This is the last time then I'll go to this place in the morning or perhaps anytime. They open at seven I believe and I went at 7:15 I sat in line not because they were really busy but it seemed like employees get there right when it opens as opposed to get there early and prepare for people to come through. The first item that I meant ordered which was a soufflé I was advised that they don't have them right now and that's the only thing I really came here for. I was going to buy a couple other items but the girl offered me a muffin instead. If you have it on your menu and you can have it ready when the business opens why don't you just take it off the menu. It's so frustrating and this is the second time or the third time that I've come and had this happen. Since the recipes online I think I'll just make my own and I will never come back to Panera again. Management needs to get their act together because this business has a good product if only they can get the service part of it together.

Yelp
Bartender Malcom was the best. Sit at the bar he will explain things and goes above and beyond. Very impressed with his skills

Yelp
I stopped in to Panera drive up window and ordered a delicious breakfast wrap and coffee plus a loaf of their Sourdough. The service was excellent and the food was also. I'd stop by there anytime; their product is all good. And they're the only one thus far doing Healthy and Wholesome food and bread. Don't listen to the nay-sayers and nit-pickers, go in and try T H E I R fare, on their terms, and in good faith, before dissing.

Yelp
Mmm. Bagels. Mmm. Friendly people. I usually come in the morning for a hazlenut coffee and avocado spinach breakfast sandwich. Sometimes its not seasoned but ingredients are always fresh. Ive had some inconsistency with orders but am always super pleased with ingredient quality. I love their modern greek salad and roasted turkey sandwich too. Super fresh. There can be mild sticker shock with pricing. For two of us the you pick two combos with drinks can hover close to 30. The service is very friendly when I've gone. The drive thru can get backed up, but the Panera rapid pick up is easy. Im glad weve got a fast food place with healthy options! Its just pricey and sometimes inconsistent but ive had some excellent customer service from genuinely friendly people.

Yelp
The ability to skip the line and order via the tablet is awesome. It can be a bit tedious as there are many options and the navigation can be complex, even for an experienced IT guy like me. I love Panera Bread and order the pick two. The wonderful broccoli cheese in a bread bowel and the turkey sandwich with a apple chutney. As much as I love em and just could not ignore how messy my sandwich was. As soon as I picked it up, I had apple chutney juices running down my hand and arm. I didn't even eat the entire sandwich as it was a bit messy for me. The sandwich would have been great if less juicy and non soggy bread.

Yelp
I usually don't have big hopes for Panera bread, because of the thickness of the bread and how hard it is. But decided to come back and give it another try! Upon arrival, they have the "self-serve" computers where you place your own orders and wait at your tables for them to deliver. I ordered the chipotle chicken with a side of Mac and cheese. At this point, I didn't even care how it tasted. I was SO HUNGRY! The food arrived pretty quickly, had a bite of the sandwich. GOOD. So good. Tasty. I didn't mind the bread. It actually complemented the sogginess inside (in a good way). One thing I would change is the Mac and cheese, Super thick and creamy. It's good but I could only have a few bites as it was so thick. But good, don't get me wrong. Overall, I like Panera bread again.

Yelp
My first time trying Panera Bread and idk why I didn't try earlier! I walked in and I saw a kiosk where you can order and grab your number and drink cup. They have so many options and my favorite is the passion papaya green tea! I got the pick 2 with tomato soup and a grilled cheese and it was the perfect combo for this cold weather! My friend also got the pick 2 with tomato soup and tuna salad sandwich and it was also pretty tasty. They also gave us butter to put on top of our bread and it made such a difference. I would def come back to try their soup/mac bowls!

It's Tuesday - Chicken and wild rice soup. Yep love it. Wife had a salad. Panera is an excellent place for a fast lunch. This store is across from the Parks Mall.

Yelp
On a rainy early evening, I decided that I needed something somewhat healthy to eat, so I made a deliberate trek to Panera to get a salad. I ordered the Pick 2, and my first pick was the Chinese chicken salad with the steak panini half sandwich being my second pick. I used my app, which is not easily laid out, in order to use a gift certificate that I had for some months. That done, I found an empty seat, which was very easy to do as it was completely deserted of customers when I arrived. The dining room was very clean. That deserves a star in my book! It took very little time for my order to arrive. The salad looked good (except for one ugly wilted piece of cilantro right smack dab on top of the pile which I picked off first thing). The salad also tasted good. It had a variety of flavors mingled together in the bowl making it interesting. I wish there were a few more pieces of chicken, but the chicken that was there was sliced just right. It was a good portion, too, not too much and not too little that even Goldilocks would be satisfied. The panini didn't fare as well for me, though. The half sandwich just looked plain and not very appealing. The steak inside was tough to cut with your teeth, and the flavors of the pickled red onion just didn't do anything for me. I was disappointed with this one. But, hey, it could be someone else's sandwich heaven. With a grand total of a half sandwich and salad being $11.73, I think I will only choose this place once a year. I just think it's a little pricey for what you get. Anyway, that's my side of the menu.

Yelp
12/31/2020 - 9:00 PM. We had an odd experience that night. As background, our son had surgery that week and was still recovering. My wife works as an RN and had a very long extended shift that ended close to 8:45. Driving home, she called our son and they decided together that Panera chili sounded really good, but we were unsure when Panera closed on New Years Eve. I pulled into the drive through just before 9:00. The person who spoke to us initially through the speakers said they had just closed. My wife asked if, by chance, we could still get a couple of chili bowls. He said yes, and that he would just bring them out at no charge (FREE). We thought that was super nice, so I pulled out some cash to tip him for the favor. When I pulled around to the window, a different young man looked at me like I had three heads. He then checked with his team to see if they knew why we were there, and they proceeded to get us the chili. He then charged me nearly $15.00 for the two bowls of chili. They had no baguettes, so he offered mostly undesirable options. In a fairly condescending tone, he reminded us they are closed and that's why they were out of several items. A reminder was unnecessary. We then discovered the $15 chili was COLD and required significant reheating before it could be eaten. Look, I am more than willing to pay for great service and great food. However, I would rather have been turned away than be served a half-assed and ultimately overpriced cold product by an arrogant employee. As a sincere note to management, define and implement a process to prevent this in the future. You charge too much to let this happen.

Yelp
Welcome to South Cooper, Panera! I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of this new Panera location since last summer when I noticed the sign on my way home from the gym. This Panera is in a great location and the drive-thru is really convenient. Employees are friendly and make sure that they give accurate information. I hope that the employees maintain the positive vibe here as some other Panera stores do not share those same qualities. I don't work too far away from this store so I will be visiting frequently, especially when I can steal away from work for lunch. While the food is a bit pricey (imo), it is relatively healthy and yummy so that makes up for the price.

Yelp
I love that they built a Panera Bread close to my job. It's my favorite go to place for my favorite Turkey Sandwich and Soup or Salad even. Very big plus on them having a drive thru, and the parking lot scenario is crazy doesn't look like a lot of spaces. Downside it's always hard getting in and out of the parking lot here I always have a difficult time when going to the Bank next door.
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Boring, small menu and inconsistent in top of that. I've been there a total of 4 or 5 times. First and only time I've ever ordered a panini that wasn't pressed with a panini press. It was also missing the sauce. Needless to say, it was awful. I probably should have sent it back to the kitchen but mistakes of that caliber require extreme amounts of ineptitude. I've also tried their Chicken Tortellini Pasta which was over-salted, over-cooked and lacking any distinct flavor other than salt. The meat itself is basic bland chicken breast. Their steak sandwich is just terrible. Tough. Flavorless. I can't tell you the cut of beef they used and I doubt the staff could either. The restaurant is not expensive, but I would consider it a ripoff. The amount and quality of food you get for the money is pretty terrible. There are so many non-chain small restaurants that blow this place out of the water. On the plus side, their teas are always good and I happen to like most of their baked goods including their breads. The staff is usually in good spirits as well which I appreciate.

Yelp
My wife loves this chain. Unfortunately I have not found anything that I really like here. I go because it makes her happy

Naylin F.

Yelp
Horrible delivery experience. Forgot an item and neither party was aware until I called. Refund must be given in person or reorder again and wait another hour. Huge inconvenience and can even compensate a little something to make it right. Never again will I have something delivered. Keep the money and the horrible service Panera.

Yelp
I must admit I only order salads from Panera Bread. They have so many to choose from. Something for every taste. They are so fresh, delicious and large.

Yelp
So far so good. It is your typical good Panera Bread. This location just opened, so very nice and very clean. The staff is nice and polite. And the service was quick and friendly. They have a decent amount of room inside, and a limited amount of seating on a little patio outside.

Yelp
By far the worst panera bread I've been to all the drinks tasted watered down and had no flavor at all. My sandwich bread was hard and seemed like it was sitting there for days. The Mac and cheese wasn't creamy like most panera breads I've been to it was clumpy and cold. Do yourself a favor and never stop at this location it's so nasty first and last time I stop here. The floors were dirty looked like they hadn't cleaned in days. Beyond unsatisfied!

Yelp
I got the pick two deal with creamy chicken and wild rice soup and the new strawberry poppyseed salad. Not a fan of the salad, but the soup is always good there.

Yelp
I really love this Panera Bread location. I've been a unlimited sips member since last but moving down to Texas, this has been my new hotspot. The staff is so kind and the restaurant is clean. I go there literally everyday and not once have I had an issue with my food, drinks or service.

Yelp
The food was ok. I went in on a rainy cold day hoping for a yummy cup of hot soup. My soup was barely warm. The most disappointing thing was how dirty the table were. We couldn't seem to find one that was clean. There are even signs on the table guaranteeing they are sanitized but it clearly was not. There were crumbs of food on it and we had to wipe down our own table. And my husbands fork was also dirty. It just seems life there could be more attention for cleanliness during a pandemic. This does not make me want to go back.

Yelp
I LOVE LOVE LOVE their bread bowls. My favorite would have to be the broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl! I especially like that when you get it to go, they leave the soup and bread bowl separate, so there is no soggy bread when you get home (also makes reheating less disgusting if needed). Today I also tried their new Cuban sandwich.... and holy smokes! I haven't had a Cuban before, so I can not compare it to an authentic one, but I can say that it is very delicious!

Yelp
Wow. This Panera has majorly stepped its game up compared to others I've been to! In the span of 15-20 minutes I had 3 different people approach me to ask how I was doing and they asked the other patrons how they were doing (and the restaurant was pretty crowded while I was there). Employees and managers alike were going out of their way to provide phenomenal service. You'd expect this from a nice restaurant but to get this treatment from Panera was really incredible. Good job!

Yelp
They recently built this Panera Bread off Cooper right by BOA and I feel like the drive thru is what will really be a win for this location, at least it was for me. I needed a light healthy meal for dinner and I think I had received some coupons in the meal but didn't necessarily want to get out the car. I got a Caesar salad with chicken and was on my way! Since it's newer the outdoor design /architecture is obviously updated. Cooper is a busy street so plenty traffic but it's very close to I-20 and the Parks Mall. Cool soup and salad place for your lunch /dinner needs. Also from years ago when I think of Panera, I think of the bread bowls for soup. That has stayed in my mind since like 2007. Winter will soon come!
