Will Foodservice Robots Take Jobs Away From Human Workers? | Eater

"A bakery-cafe chain that has added staff to handle larger order volumes generated by self-serve kiosks and digital ordering tools, suggesting automation can shift staffing needs rather than eliminate positions." - Steve Holt

Google
Panera Bread never disappoints, and this visit was no exception — definitely a 5-star experience! I had the Mediterranean Salad, coffee, and the classic Broccoli Cheddar Soup, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and served just right. The salad was crisp and light with a perfect balance of ingredients, the soup was warm and comforting, and the coffee hit the spot. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax or catch up on some work. I also appreciated the ample parking — super convenient and hassle-free. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty and easy meal!

came here a few days during my one week stay when we needed to have breakfast early. a pity i only get to try one of the soup because it was always not ready when we were there. they also ran out of fruit cups one day - which i thought could be easily done up. tried a couple of their items and it was alright. a decent place for early breakfast besides diner and fast food. but certainly wish that the portion is more for the price.

Everything is so good here that sometimes it’s hard to choose! The staff has great knowledge of the menu and helped us decide what to get. They were very friendly. I got a brownie and it tasted like it had been freshly baked! Very good!

Went here a week ago 1/20/22. Very good. Service was great. Actually dined it. Staff professional and helpful. My- all the wonderful looking treats and ohhhh so good(I bet) but not so healthy for me! Lol. Had sound and bread. My friend had some soup and Asian salad. We both loved our food. Very good. All fresh.

I love panera I've been going to panera since I was young. That being said I have seen the quality of food go down over the years. Not to say that the food is bad I mean I still go there but compared to what it used to be it's just not the same. For the price of the food I really do wish it still had the same quality that it used to have. Other than that the staff are always really nice and the inside is really clean. I would still recommend going but I do miss the old panera.

2/24 my wife wanted a salad. She said to come here. How is it possible you don't have the tomatoes for the salad, but yet charge full price??? HY-VEE blocks away. Service is horrible!!!!! So I get home and open my bag to see there is no turkey chili!!!!! But on the bright side, there are two soups in my bag, neither of them I like? Just out of curiosity, what skills do you look for in an employee/ manager? Update 2/11/24 My wife wanted to have something healthier for lunch. She asked to go to Panera. I just wanted to thank you for the extra hair that was on my sandwich. I put it to the side in case I was interested in it later! Just ordered food, from Green Bay, for the family. Got home and dished it out and I will tell you that their food is pretty good. The problem that seems to reoccur is quantity. I tried the smokehouse BBQ sandwich (a half portion). There was barely, yes barely, two bites of chicken on that sandwich. For $5.89 to get one piece of bread (cut in half), a half of a piece of cheese. And a forkful of chicken is simply unacceptable.

Make sure to check your bag before you leave the store! My husband and I got lunch here and placed a pick up order for two pick twos. My husband went into the store to pick it up and it had our name and correct order on the receipt on the bag so we didn’t figure to check the inside. When we got home and opened our bag, nothing that we ordered was in it. We must’ve got someone else’s order. I called the store immediately and spoke to the manager. She was very professional and refunded us and gave us a voucher for our next meal there. Overall, glad that they rectified the situation right away, but they should not be happening in the first place. We live further out of Green Bay Area and 15 minutes for the wrong order.

Atmosphere was good (visiting it today 02-17-2019). Food was good. After finishing my bagel and reduced fat cream cheese, I noticed that I was given an expired cream cheese dated 01-19-2019. I brought this up to attention of the server, and she told her manager. I went to see her to make sure they remove the expired items from their bins. Manager asked me if I ate the cream cheese. I said well yes, I noticed it after the fact when the empty tub was upside down. Basically you were not to sell one month old expired item. "She said, Oh! Let me see what I could do". She left me waiting for another 15-20 min. The manager never came back and totally forgot about it. We left Panera in Green Bay and here is the picture of the expired item and the manager continuing making coffee and ignoring what she said and to address my concern. My little also had part of my bagel with cream cheese.

Yelp
Let me say this one: it takes one person in the entire experience to ruin a rating. One person. Went on a Saturday morning and ordered from the kiosk. We had two drinks: one cold and one hot. Typically the person at the counter asks us if we had any drinks, and hands us our cups. This morning? A girl named Ryan was working the front and completely ignored us. No good morning, no how ya doing, nothing. I ordered tea and the woman at the end prep area said it would be about 15 minutes or so, so I figured I would enjoy some of my tea before my meal. I go to snag one of the cups near the monitor, and Ryan turns around and says, "oh no, they will give you cups at the end." While pulling the cup from my grip. No, "hey, by the way", no, "oh, did you need your drinks?" None of that. Because I invaded her personal space at her sacred register, I was not permitted a cup while waiting 15 minutes for my food. So we went to the end, waited our 15 minutes, had our food which was fine, and went to leave while asking the manager the young girl's name. I said have a good day to her, walked past Ryan and stated, "your approach to customers needs work. You didn't need to tear the cup out of my hand." To which she just said, "have a great Saturday!" This is what ruins experiences for customers, flat out. People like this. Won't return here again.

Yelp
Good place to stop in for a morning bread item, like an Asiago cheese bagel or almond pastry. If you're eating right away, have them toast or warm those up for you. Also, the egg soufflés are pretty tasty- think egg and cheese in a croissant like pastry. I used to be a big fan of their chocolate chipper cookies, loaded with mini chocolate chips and soft and chewy, but I haven't seen those recently or they've changed the product. They also have fantastic sandwiches, salads, and soups. Great lunch spot with the "you pick 2" option.

Yelp
This place is overpriced cafeteria food. You order from the counter. Pay for it. Pick up your own food and then dump it into the separate containers and they ask for a tip. My daughter ordered the pick 2 with the Caesar salad. I was so surprised by the small amount in the bowl I asked if that was the correct portion for it. She happily assured me it was. I'm sorry for 12.95 I think not. The soup is just ok. Nothing is good here. I'm surprised the are still in business. There rewards are a joke. 2 bucks off a pick 2 or a free cookie. Not even worth giving your phone number since it takes months to even get a discounted price. Place is fine. A little outdated.

Yelp
Panama bread......terrible service at east mason greenbay location. apparently, if you order to go, they make all the food for the people who are eating in the restaurant first and you wait. I stood there people after people come in order get their food and I'm still waiting with it to go order total bullshit I will never return

Yelp
What a sh*thole! Where do I start they were out of bread, yes you read that right Panera was out of bread,, tomatoes, large drink cups. The dining room was dirty and covered in garbage. The staff directed me to order on the kiosk so I could see what was in stock which was pretty limited. This place needs an insurance fire!

Joe O.

Yelp
This Panera is horrible! They lost my call in order had to sit and wait rather than use the quick pick up. Good thing I called!!! Ordered soup with a baguette (no baguette ) in my bag! No spoon for the to go soup! Nothing but potato cream no veggies or anything in the watered down soup ! I asked for a refund was told no they don't do that! Thanks a lot for a $15 order that totally sucked from one end to the other. Never going back!!!

Yelp
I know this isn't the location's fault but i was incredibly distraught to discover that they have discontinued my beloved grain bowls was having a bad day and was so excited to get the mediterranean bowl. to my horror the (very nice) drive thru staff laid the news on me that my request is impossible. i am shaken to my core. i have gluten allergies and the grain bowls were my saving grace at this establishment. i dont want their subpar salads unfortunately. feels personal!

Courtney J.

Yelp
The girl with the red hair was super sweet. I am very allergic to pineapple and didn't see it in the picture on the computer we ordered from. She was SO friendly and willing to make me a separate fruit cup without pineapple. Didn't make it a thing and was so sweet and accommodating! Thank you so much!!! We love this location!

Yelp
Went to Panera today and left to eat somewhere else. I used to love Panera so this was disappointing. It was 2 so not the biggest rush but still long lines, dirty tables, And garbage overflowing. I went to a non-chain restaurant and got great service in a clean place.

Yelp
This place has fallen off harder than Michael Vick did when he got all tangled up in that dog business. Didn't even want to go inside the place, as i just get a weird feeling about mice being in all the cushions. Drive Thru worker 100% hates her job and talks down on you as you order. Kept asking me what i wanted for a side and each time i said bread, then guess what, no bread. Food was decent but left a weird film in my mouth which I think gave me sleep apnea. Highly recommend if you want a charged lemonade (caution: death may occur)

Yelp
Almost gave them 4 stars, but as good as my 10 vegetable soup was, and as good as my Cuban sandwich LOOKED, the meat on the sandwich did not taste fresh. Tasted more like something I'd find in MY fridge (which is why I go out). Also, NO APPLE PAY (this is Panera, not Marv's truck stop sushi joint). I ordered at the kiosk (they have kiosks because they apparently are trying to eliminate employees - not sure who will eat here once no one has jobs, but I digress) and had to swipe a credit card (NOT EVEN A CHIP READER), after looking foolish waving my phone over the kiosk (and irritating the next customer waiting to use it - thankfully they gave up and went to an actual employee to order). My food was delivered by a pleasant (and human) employee.

Yelp
Great food. My friend had soup and a salad and I had a wild rice and chicken soup. All very fresh. Staff was very polite and professional. The restaurant was very clean in the inside and well kept up to standards. Keep them out! Great in a cold winters days

Yelp
Honestly mid, I got a gilled cheese because it's my go to, but the cheese was like as thick as the bread and I kid you not that bread was THICC. However, I did enjoy the lemonade. While it had a large amount of added sugar, I am not worried about it because I don't have diabetes, unlike my father. The grilled cheese did come with chips but that was even worse that the grilled cheese I barely finished. All in all, mid.

Yelp
It has been a while since I was at a Panera, and if this is what they have become it will be a very long time, if ever, before I return. My "Southwest" salad was basically a Caesar salad with tortilla strips. No black beans, no corn, no tomato, and their dressing selection is really lacking. Their idea of salsa verde was a thick dressing that looked more like green goddess. It wasn't good. And the size of the salad for the price was a poor value. The French onion soup was worse. The broth tasted like ketchup and there was maybe a tablespoon of cheese on it. Worst of all, I had trouble finding somewhere to sit because the tables were all dirty, but the kicker was when I saw a worker use her bare hands to grab a cookie out of the case. Disgusting. on The plus side, staff were very friendly. But that's not enough to make me go back.

Yelp
I am severely unimpressed with my experience today. We ordered delivery through door dash. We were missing an item and when I called about it they said that the only thing they could do was to send me a voucher in the mail. On the receipt it says "order checked by:_____" with no signature or name by it. So they have a system in place to prevent missing items but it clearly didn't work. Aside from the missing item we were given a mushy apple as a side dish, which was inedible. Update: Received the voucher in the mail very late

Yelp
I was very happy they had my favorite squash soup. Its only available in the winter months. It was perfect comfort food. Service was great and relaxing lunch. They have inside dinning along with outside seating. Also curbside delivery and drive thru is available. And don't forget about the cookies and other after dinner treats

Yelp
I mean, it's your standard Panera, but overall Panera has better options than other fast-foodish options, so I'm a fan. This one's always been pretty good whenever I've been here, even with a line it seems to move pretty well. It's a bit hit or miss with the friendliness of the cashier taking your order, but it's a brief interaction so not a huge thing. I like the you pick two options so you can mix it up, and I like that it's all pretty customizable. Also, bonus points that you can get fruit as your side (or fresh bakery bread, or chips). They were friendly enough on a recent visit when they messed up part of my order (brought the corrected item right out). Prices are decent enough, though they can climb a bit if you start customizing too much. I also like that they switched from the 'call out your name when you're order's ready' model to the 'take a buzzer, we'll bring it to you' model. I didn't mind going up to get my food, but you could never hear the names clearly and if it was busy, forger hearing the person at all, so you'd have to hover by the counter to wait for your food (along with everyone else hovering too). One downside: it can be a bit cold in there. I can remember multiple visits where I had to keep my coat on it was so chilly. But overall, a good fast food option if you're looking for something a bit above some of the other options.

Yelp
I've honestly never been too wowed by Panera. Their chicken salad sandwich is good, but that's pretty much it as far as sandwiches are concerned. I've tried a handful of others and they always seem to miss. My sandwich today especially missed because there was a hair in it. I was blocks away when I noticed it, so too late to do anything about it. Honestly, for the price, it's just not worth it. So many other good sandwich places for a more reasonable cost and better taste.

Yelp
This Panera is aggressively promoting an offensive political agenda with employee tee shirts, which is offensive to all people of faith. I am disappointed by a brand which has typically been known for only light leftist politics by its founder now being aggressively anti-family, a message incongruent with its homey atmosphere. Also, this and Wausau locations are cheap on the fireplace. It's ironic how they assiduously cling to CDC regulations while promoting a scatological politics which cater more to the misdirection of its misrecruited employees, than the welfare or health of ANYONE. All of this said, I must say on the positive side that unlike most in the chain, attention is paid to the freshness of the coffee. I just prefer my coffee without a dose of anti-American politics. If that's your deal, there is a Wisconsin chain that specializes in anti-Americanism. The bottom line, the brand appeals to conservative middle-class families. Don't push political brands that violate the core beliefs of your most viable potential customers because of a misdirected ideological bent. Thanks for listening.

Yelp
We really enjoy Panera but sometimes things happen that leaves us shaking our heads with wonder. Been visiting Green Bay a lot the past month for family reasons. Stopped in two weeks ago and ordered a cup of soup. Soup at Panera, so far, always good. This time the bread served with the soup was stale and hard. No worries , just ask for fresh, right? Well, the young man didn't know what to do. Wasn't sure he could replace it! Didn't feel empowered enough. Well, that's a management issue. So zero stars for management. I mean, really, we are talking about a piece of bread. Management, or corporate, training. Jump ahead to today. Ordered two bowls of soup. As usual, soup is super! But they serve it in a big bowl filled halfway. Makes it look like they didn't serve enough. My suggestion, give us a value boost by either filling the bowl 3/4 full or get smaller bowls. I left feeling I paid too much for too little. Now, let's talk butter. The chunk of bread I was served was really good. The butter, frozen. And this has happened at (so far) three different Panera's. For goodness sake take the butter out of the fridge so it can be spread and so it can be tasted. Yes, butter fail. One more thing. When you place an order you're given the opportunity to tip. But you stand at the register to order and you are supposed to bus your table and throw away waste and stack plates and silverware . The only service is the delivery of food to your table and no one stops to see if you need anything and if you order a drink it's self serve. I'm a really good tipper but I tip based on service. Panera, think your service through. Please.

Yelp
I was in a rush so I opted for the drive thru. Their spicy Thai chicken salad was the bomb! The drive thru moved quickly and my $9 salad was ready to eat right when I got home. They even throw in a piece of bread to soak up all the leftover dressing. The salad was good in size and they give you more than enough dressing with a fork and some napkins in a cute little bag. The flavor of the salad was unique and I would order it again. The roasted veggies was my favorite part closely followed by the chicken. I will stop in again.

Yelp
I love me some Panera Bread. In town for a week in preparation for a big move to Green Bay, I'm pretty much freezing my tail off. I got in the car one morning when it was a crazy cold (at least for a Vegas girl like me) 18 degrees. All I wanted was a hot drink to warm my bones. I first had Starbucks in mind but was pleasantly surprised when, on my way to Starbs, I spotted a Panera Bread. I made a beeline and was even more stoked to see that they had a drive thru! I wouldn't even have to get out of the car! I decided to splurge and order a spinach and bacon soufflé along with a hot chocolate. Boom! Crash! Not so fast. Upon ordering I was informed that something (I don't recall what it was that they called it) was out of order and they weren't able to serve hot drinks. Excuse me, Panera? It's 18 degrees outside and you're not serving hot drinks? Have I entered an alternate universe? I mean-you have an operating kitchen there, right? I don't understand why they couldn't throw some hot water in a kettle, boil it in a pan, nuke it in the microwave, something! I ended up just getting the soufflé and even that was a disappointment. It was very ooey and gooey in the middle-just an off-putting texture and the taste just wasn't good at all. I've had the ham and Swiss soufflé before and it was amazing. I guess I should have stuck to that one. Service was quick and the employee was friendly so I'll be generous with a 3 star review. But not being able to serve hot drinks in the wintertime is just craziness!

Yelp
Slow, slow, slow , slow....two breakfast sandwiches took 20 minutes sitting in the drive thru. No apologies or explanations.

Yelp
This place is amazing! They have amazing service with amazing food! I have come here mmultiple times now and it's still great. Love it! I totally recommend this place if you've never had it.

Yelp
I don't mind Panera Bread, but it's not really a place I pick on my own. I tend to go when traveling with friends and we need to find something to eat. For a chain restaurant, it's pretty dependable and a better option than most fast food restaurants. I do like this location. There's a drive-thru, which is convenient if you need to get a quick sandwich or coffee. Inside it's very clean, and plenty of space. The parking is a little inconvenient as it's near by a strip mall of businesses, so spots fill up fast. This is a good spot to get a bagel, or sandwich (paninis, flatbread) and salads. They give you a buzzer device after making your order. My most recent visit, the just give you one, and a server brings the food to you, instead of picking it up yourself. My one issue is the food portions are pretty small for what you're paying. Even the bag of chips seemed vacant. I usually leave somewhat hungry. They have free wi-fi, and I can always find a corner to hide in and get some work done.

Yelp
Stopped in to try breakfast and WOW! Super satisfied and impressed with the maple bacon and egg wrap! Truly amazing flavor and will order this again!

Yelp
This review is for the 2 items I picked up today through the drive-through. i have eaten at Panera previously and it was OK, I it seems like they are going downhill. I am very sympathetic to restaurants with rising cost and I'm one of those customers that will definitely pay more rather than have the restaurant sacrifice quality. Anyway I wasn't feeling well so I got some homemade chicken soup and a mango citrus lemonade. Both were literally inedible. The soup was insanely salty; I had to dilute it with half water. The mango lemonade was so ridiculously sweet; I had to take it home to add half water to drink it. I am not hyper sensitive to salt or sugar (I eat fudge!) I don't understand why a restaurant , especially one that tries to portray an image of more healthy than typical fast food, would do this ... especially in a country where there are so many people with diabetes and heart disease and high blood pressure... Very disappointed. i would suggest having your corporation reevaluate these recipes (unless it was just this store...) Kelley

Yelp
Glad to finally get to dine in, the bread bowl Mac and cheese was awesome. The portion for the bread bowl is small wish I would of known that before I ordered. But the experience was pleasant none the less.

Yelp
Better than average Panera location. It's a chain so the food is basically the exact same thing as any other Panera you'll visit meaning it's "ok". I do appreciate that they post calories clearly on every item & do appreciate the low-cal flatbread options that have recently been added. That aside, this location seems to be better than many others because: *It's clean - most Paneras are fairly high churn which often means dirty, sticky tables and worn furniture. Here, everything was clean and I saw employees walking around actively cleaning and also picking up dirty dishes from people who were finished eating. *Service - I ordered catering from here and everything was prepared correctly and on time. They did a good job handling a nut allergy and even offered to load my order (not needed but a very nice gesture). Overall, I'm not the world's biggest Panera fan but they are my standby for business lunch catering. This location did a great job so I'd happily use them again.

Nicole K.

Yelp
My significant other and I stopped in before dropping him back at home and heading back to work. We both got sandwiches and soup. He ordered the turkey deli, and at the time they were out of tomatoes, and chicken and wild rice soup. I myself, got the steak and cheese sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup. We received our buzzer, and sat down to wait for our food to be placed at the next window. After waiting for 30 minutes, I noticed a board with a list of names of orders as they come in saying "ready" and "prepping". My name wasn't on the list anywhere, so I got up and asked one of the workers. She said that they were very behind, and began handing out cookies to those waiting. I asked how much longer it would be, and she said if my name wasn't on the list, then it was likely going to be another 45 minutes to an hour. I went to the cashier to cancel my order, as I was on my lunch break and needed to get back to work. There were zero apologies made. The manager came out to give me my refund, without looking at me, or apologizing as well. I had suggested maybe turning off the online ordering to catch up, or at the very least telling people BEFORE they order the estimated wait time. Rather than making them wait 20-30 mins, and then finding out it will be another hour. There were others behind me after hearing my discussion with that worker who had begun to cancel their orders as well.

Yelp
Great service and clean restaurant. The staff brings your order to your table. Food is prepared up to Panera standard. My favorite salad, the Asian sesame with grilled chicken and Chicken and Wild Rice soup is a perfect selection if you want a satisfying meal.
google avatar

Dan M.

Yelp
Great lunch place with some healthy options. I like the pick 2 combo with a choice of soup, salad or 1/2 sandwich. They have several soup options, I enjoyed the chicken tortilla (not overly spicey), and a signature side salad can be had for like $0.50 cents more than the standard/regular salad and is way worth it. NOTE: They have options for your side too ... if you don't want the baguette on side, you can get an apple, chips, slaw or something else... just ask when ordering.
google avatar

Camille B.

Yelp
I ordered chicken and wild rice and got chicken noodle soup. Literally chicken noodle soup is the least appealing to put in a bread bowl. My friend ordered a large iced coffee and got a small with almond milk. I was looking forward to good food and chicken and wild rice soup & I got a cup of cambells. **update my Caesar salad is 90% yellow

Yelp
Bacon Tomato Grilled Cheese through the drive-thru today. The tomato confit was minimal and on the sour side - should be more savory. Barely any cheese (did it slide off?) and the sandwich itself was barely grilled. Disappointment in the sandwich itself - definitely not a $10 lunch - drive thru was just "meh" on speediness, however, I would have waited another minute or two for an actual 'grilled' sandwich.

Yelp
What can I say...broccoli cheddar soup and Greek salad...fantastic! When it comes to soup and Salas you can't beat it!

Yelp
Always love to come here. I like the food selection and like the teas. The self ordering system works great, just select what you want, grab a buzzer and find a place to sit. Although sometimes it is really busy, istill reccomend.

Yelp
See you here. Fast and awesome table side delivery system....innovation. Busy during lunch so come early or order online. It is busy for a the right reasons. Must try their soup serve in a bread bowl....

Yelp
Poor service. My daughter and I stopped in to order breakfast for the whole family. The guy at the counter pounced on her immediately for not having her mask on. She then got one but he continued on with how I was wearing mine. After the third time of him being demanding and rude we just left. People were sitting down without a mask. People were up getting coffee without a mask. But yet he decided to turn away business over this. People need to start voting with there dollars.

Yelp
On Tuesday 05/28, I decoded to get a coffee and a banana strawberry smoothie wich came to $7.15, I had asked for 4 sugars the women who gave me my order did give me a stir to mix in the sugar. I asked for a stir she ok, and I waited 6min I could see her in the window starring at me she did not provide me with a stir, after 6 minutes I drove off and had to go to McDonald's for a stir. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Yelp
So I love Panera and this review is more for customer service walk in orders. Today... I had a rapid pick up and then decided to order some unsliced bagels to go. (6) The girl helping me got them in a bag then just needed cream cheese, easy enough? So two couples came in - didn't finish my order, sat the bag down and waited on two more people before saying oh yea I still gotta get the cream cheese...? For real? Just young mindless I guess? why our quick order was put on hold to help two others after us while we wait vs finish our order so we could get on our way? Training issue? So this is just one of many examples of when I go in to order. I mainly only do rapid pick up now or drive thru, as I love the product, it's just more predictable when ordering here. Good luck.

Yelp
Panera is a favorite of mine for lunch when I'm out running errands or traveling (the food is consistent at every Panera regardless of location). All of their soups are very good, my favorite is broccoli cheddar, and I recommend either the steak and arugula panini or the steak and white cheddar. I appreciate that they try to responsibly source their food also. Panera has the best coffee, if they sold the beans in their stores I would definitely buy it! I wish they had more options for side though, when you get a pick two and get the choice of a baguette or chips it seems like a carb bomb, other wise I recommend them!

Yelp
Reliably good food. Gluten free options - and the salads are especially high quality/reliable. I have to say the unsweetened iced tea is a family favorite. I literally to,out of my way to pay over $2 for a large tea from Panwra! Clear, nice rich tea flavor and just the right amount of bite. I have found the lemons good and not mush/previously frozen as well. The gluten free chocolate cookie is often a treat too! And this is THE place to have a leisurely meeting- you can camp and have several people come work with you over time. Clean!

Yelp
Was not impressed. We went in to eat and for some reason they had no bread?? How does a bread company run out of bread? Anyway, we got our food and it wasn't bad! Everything tasted good. I would have left a three star review because of everything going well, however something happened after eating... I waited outside the bathroom for the person I was eating with to get out. Then, for some reason one of the employees walked past me and kicked in the door! I think it was a joke to scare his friend but why?!? What if someone was in front of the door and got hit? Seriously dude? That should have never happened..

Yelp
Such a weird experience at this location. We went there for dinner last night. My sisters salad had a huge avocado peel in it, my fork was dirty and my salad had frozen chicken in it. The staff was bizarre too- not sure if it was a new crew or what?? While we were waiting for our mac n cheese to come out, the waitress advised it was finishing being microwaved?? They were helpful in remaking the salad, but even with that, the veggies in it were still frozen. We were in no rush at all and would have been fine with them taking the extra time to make sure everything was made as it should have been. Likely won't be back. They did give me a free cookie, which was great....so ‍.

Yelp
Ordered food/drinks for a breakfast meeting at work with a pickup of 8:10 am the next morning. The food wasn't ready until 8:40, so had to wait a 1/2 hour for an order that they had over 12 hours notice on. Then once back to the office, items were missing so had to run back to pick up missing items. Poor customer service - since they screwed up they should have offered to deliver to our office.

Yelp
Solid chain sandwich place. Clean, fast, cheap, good quality, just like every other Panera bread location.
