Panera Bread

Lots of baked items. The breakfast sandwiches are questionable. The egg texture looks like a wet sponge. I got their everything bagel toasted with herb and garlic cream cheese. Don’t sleep on their passion papaya’s green iced tea.

Overall not bad! Everything was pretty yummy and the staff were super friendly, except for the fact that the bread was really overly sweet in taste. For just over 20 bucks, I'd expect much better value for money however the sandwich was teeny and in comparison can get you a 6 inch at Subway for less.

First and last time I would go to Panera Bread. Ordered via Skip - Whole Italian Sandwich and I can’t even explain what we got… Half a sandwich with Arugula and 3 tomatoes ???(See photo)… Called the store and we were advised it was a Skip issue and not theirs… Don’t see how this isn’t a restaurant issue, I don’t think my Skip driver made the sandwich. We received our $5 credit from skip, no issues there… just can’t believe this is the food that is served and no accountability from the restaurant what so ever.

I feel like customer service is a lost skill, but the no real acknowledgment just a shove of a pin pad in you face seems to be were we’re headed… not the first time I have had this experience. I am glad they didn’t ask for a tip. But I little smile nice hi goes a long way

Little bit expensive side for veggies options and we order latte and caffe cappuccino and compare to price it was an average taste. Having said that I would still look for another chance to try to check other items on the list and update the reviews.

I love the food at Panera!! Everything is so fresh and delicious. The salads and sandwiches are freshly made to order. There is nothing better than a sandwich on fresh baked bread. The soups are so delicious, I’m waiting for the squash soup to be brought back for fall.. it’s my favourite! The staff at this restaurant are all lovely and hardworking people. The young gentleman that was working at the cash on July 26th /25 at 5:00pm was a real pleasure with great people skills. We will be back again and again!!!

Way too pricey for what it is. The food is decent, but in no way upmarket. I got a half veggie sandwich and it cost $9. No meat, just one piece of bread cut in half with some salad toppings. Not worth it.

What an absolute joke this place is. The quality has gone way downhill the management is rude and doesn't want to deal with any kind of complaint and just brushes it off saying that's how Corporate wants it. I'm sorry but when you're advertising something I get it it's not going to look exactly like what's in the picture but I didn't even get what was close to me looking in the picture. Bagel is overcooked and hard no cream cheese on it the mac and cheese the noodles are hard from sitting there too long and the grilled cheese is like taking two pieces of bread and just melting cheese in them. It's absolutely ridiculous. I then asked for the phone number of the district manager and and the current manager that I was talking to got rude told me she wasn't talking to me anymore and hung up the phone how is that customer service. I spent almost $25 for a bunch of food that I'm going to throw in the trash. I have also attached a photo of what they advise the grilled cheese to look like.

GRAVELY DISAPPOINTED. I ordered 2 soups and 2 sandwiches. I measured the $8.99 soup when I got home and it was 8 tablespoons. the sandwiches were small and barely had any content in them. my bill was $38.00. ARE YOU SERIOUS PANEEA BREAD?? You're going "public" because you are ripoff artists. The soup had a grand total of 2 noodles, one piece of chicken ( ??) and a shred of a carrot. and the sandwiches were tasteless. PURE GARBAGE. STAY AWAY. RUN PEOPLE....RUN!!!!!!

Wanted a little nostalgia as we used to frequent Panera Bread weekly while living in the states. It was one of my favorite places for lunch. The food is still delicious, but the prices have increased substantially. Now, l don't mind a price increase if you get the same amount of food as before, but 21.00 for a soup that they claim feeds 4 was extremely disappointing. By the time l had ladled barely a half cup per person, the container was gone. This hardly served 2 adults and 2 children. The pick 2 was also much smaller in size with the soup being a small half cup, thank goodness for the half a sandwich. The large mac and cheese for 10.00 pictured on the menu was also shrunk in size. I guess we should have eaten in restaurant as maybe the portions there are larger, but I have had take out portions of ice cream in a bigger container than the mac and cheese came in. And an after note.....if you order take out, check your order before you leave. We had several items missing, and had to go back for them. Maybe the difference is this is a Canadian Panera Bread, and since they are so few and far between they can get away with smaller portions for more dollars. Next time l go to a Panera Bread will be when l am back visiting in the states.

terrible customer service. no paper in the restrooms. when I reported this to the manager. she said "ok" Actually not "ok" Lots of other restaurants so I will not come back

Seemed like the staff weren't too interested in helping us. At $5+ for a breakfast sandwich they could add a little salt or something to it. Not filling at all and one of them was pretty burnt and they still served it to us.

Ive been back a few more times and I have to say the food is always top notch and the price points is actually pretty good. i ve tried some of their salads and they have a wide range of variety. ill go back more often once the pandemic is over

Visited this place for the first time today. Was pleased with the selection of lunch food on their menu. Includes paninis, sandwiches, soups and salads. I ordered the Pick 2 lunch special and got grilled cheese and a Broccoli Cheddar soup. We were seated and had our food within five minutes of ordering. The soup was quite hot and the grilled cheese was delicious and fresh. Would have loved a bit more broccoli and a little less cheese in the soup...it was orange, there was so much cheddar in it. The only thing that struck me at this establishment was the cost of items. The Pick 2 menu and 2 drinks came to $29! Thought that was a bit more than I would be used to paying for lunch but that might just be me. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this place and would certainly be back.

This was absolutely the most underwhelming place I've ever eaten at. Went in for a snack, and at $10 for a grilled cheese I was expecting some good bread with maybe a mix of cheese, or at least good cheese! Instead got soggy white bread with not even the slightest amount of crunch and Kraft single slices for the cheese...I shit you not. Will never go to one of these again.

I always enjoy my meal. Sandwich and Salads are fantastic and big portion. This was the huge meal for me. I love it and wanna come back soon.

The prices are out to lunch pardon the pun. The quality and quantity for what you pay is not worth trying to park. It reminds me of a hospital cafeteria. Microwaved, not homemade and missing half the portion that you should receive for what you pay. Save your money and go somewhere else!

My boyfriend and I came here to eat the other day while it was raining and didn't know where else to go, ordered the broccoli cheddar and mac and cheese and my boyfriend got regular mac and cheese, then I got a strawberry banana smoothie. The mac and cheese was pretty bad, it tastes comparable to old hospital food if that makes sense. Both the broccoli cheddar and regular mac and cheese were kind of watery and had a bit of a play-doh aftertaste to it, and for the price I was not expecting a shot glass sized dish lol. The girls at the counter were pretty rude and annoyed but not a big deal I'm not going to Panera for the service. Overall below average food with below average service, also my bread was hard :(

You need to watch the pricing here. For lunch, I ordered a half sandwich, and an associate also ordered the same half sandwich. $14 for a sandwich, when splitting a full sandwich would have been about $10. Sure, with a little conference, we could have decided on splitting, but that's quite a pricing skew. Overall, two meals (sammy, soup and drink) came out to $15 a head. I think about all of the other options (like Nando's a couple buildings over) for the same price, and this was not by best choice. It was my first time at a Panera anywhere, so it was worth a try. It's a good place for a special craving...

Honestly I was a little sceptical about a soup/ sandwich place with such high price but the quality and quantity are great! The avocado BLT is delicious and I also love their cheddar broccoli soup! I usually get the pick 2 deal which is what they call half orders lol I can't even finish 1/2 soup and 1/2 sandwich the portions are so big and filling!

Just had a steak and arugula sandwich, which we have had many times before and enjoyed it immensely. However, this time, the arugula was wilted, there was not much steak on it but a lot of pepper on it. We were proud to suggest Panera to all our friends but now we are apprehensive as a result of this meal.

Typically slower than most places service. Food is mediocre and feel like most business comes from the fact it's the only panera that is in the city. Not a big fan of the food, honestly feel like I could make a better can of soup at home. Sandwiches are okay but not the best maybe I just had a bad experience but wasn't that pleased the two times I've visited here.. lots of better soup and sandwich spots.

Huge shout out to manager, Kristen Currie who has gone above and beyond the call of duty and relieved me of gigantic stress. I lost my wallet at this location, and Kristen made the effort to hunt me down all the way out in Kelowna, BC and make sure that I got my wallet back. This kind of Superb customer care makes me a big fan of Kristen, and makes me want to go back and eat lots more of those amazing sandwiches and the incredible cheese and broccoli soup that I have every time I go to Panera! Kristen for manager of the month!!

It was alright :) nothing special! I had the cheddar and broccoli soup which was extremely hot and the bread on the side was pretty hard

Arrived at 12:30pm to order a dozen bagels and they were already SOLD OUT. Really? Is it only because it's cheaper on Tuesdays?

Terrible store, very slow, never enough bagels or variety of bagels, never watching the coffee levels. Disgrace to panera brand.

I was so looking forward to fresh Bagels! So being a first time customer, I took Panera up on their Bakers dozen Tuesday mailer coupon. The Bagels were inconsistent in size, and they didn't seem fresh, both the Cheese and the Cinnamon Rasin were dry. Nothing that a microwave wouldn't fix. So first impression, disappointed.

Salads are amazing, and you really your moneys worth! I have heard the salads are much smaller when you get them to go, but never have personally done that. Staff are always friendly and the food comes out super fast! Love this place for a quick and healthy meal!

I always get great food & great service at the Barrie Panera Bread. The food is expensive but that's to be expected. I definitely recommend it!

This is the best cafe I've ever been to! They have great, tasty food, including their great tea! I am very satisfied with their service, as they are efficient and kind. They have a spacious area, and a outdoor patio! I would recommend this place to people who like a hang out, and food from casual to Fantastic!!

I used to eat there weekly when it first opened but in the four years since it has gone down hill. I went there for the last time today. I ordered the new Southwest salad and I had to return it and ask for a refund. It was really soggy because it was drenched in dressing and the few pieces of chicken I ate before returning it were rubbery and did not even taste like chicken. They had to get the manager to refund my money and she couldn't have cared less. She didn't ask me what was wrong or didn't even apologize. As we were leaving four kitchen staff members ran outside to pet a puppy who was being walked past the restaurant...if that's the kind of quality control and cleanliness the manager allows I don't think anyone should want to eat there.

Had a coffee here and got sick to my stomach. They had mild and chemical residues in the coffee containers

Sandwich bread was very greasy. Cappuccino was very good. If you are planing to study or read, better go somewhere else. Daytime regulars are fairly loud. It's not the store's fault, but it's good to know if you expect that. Went to Starbucks to study instead.

This is one of my family's "go to" spots for lunch. Food has always been delicious and made with high quality ingredients. Service is typically great and quick even during the busiest times. It has a drive thru with great service as well if you're in a rush. Be sure to sign up for your customer rewards card while there...I have received many discounts and free items!!!

Love this place. I ordered a Thai chicken salad.The salad comes with crusty bread. I will come back to this place again. Service was slow but cashiers were nice.
