Food turned out great thank you!

I took my elderly aunt to Panera on Manhattan today because she absolutely loves it, but today was absolutely horrible. The Gal who took our order was great very nice and professional, however the people in the back were not, First they forgot part of my order, when I asked them about it, they gave me a hard time about it even though it was their fault. They were rude and when my partner came up to the window to ask for some butter they ignored him, when I went up they tried to ignore me as well but I stood there and repeatedly asked for butter to which they gave me 2small packages of butter. The food was also abysmal, the bread was incredibly dry and stale. Part of order was the BBQ chicken ciabatta which had very little sauce, I asked for a little more sauce for my sandwich and told them I could pay for it, again I was ignored. So if you want to be treated with simple human dignity DO NOT go to Panera on Manhattan blvd. these people cooking your food are terrible at their jobs.

On 5/27, I picked up an order through drive-through and was informed the salad dressing I ordered was unavailable. When I got home, the chocolate croissant that I ordered was dry and brittle. On 5/28, I placed another drive-through order and when I got to this location, there were two orange cones (and no signs) blocking the drive-through. My first thought was maybe it was a mistake because it was so early in the morning so I’ll just walk inside this time. When I got inside, the lady working behind the food counter looked annoyed, but still greeted me as I picked up my order. On 5/30, I placed another drive-through order and when I got to this location, I saw one orange cone (and still no signs), blocking the drive-through. I thought, maybe this was a mistake again so I removed the cone and went through the drive-through. No one answered the intercom nor came to the window so I drove my vehicle back to the parking lot and parked my vehicle to pick up my order inside. Already losing patience at this point, I walked straight to the pick up counter and the same annoyed lady from last time gave me attitude for removing the cones. She started lecturing to me about the cones and why they were there in the first place so I wasn’t supposed to remove them. As she was walking off and muttering about this matter, I informed her if the drive-through is closed, then she needs to remove the option from the Panera app so customers don’t assume the drive through is open for pick up. I contacted customer service so if you encounter a similar issue, don’t hesitate to call 855-372-6362. P.S. the chocolate croissant (at this location) was still dry and brittle this time.

🔹️UPDATED🔹️ 2-28-24: This video was taken during the LAST, BEST-QUALITY experience that I ever had at Panera Bread. All of my recent visits between New Orleans and Webster, TX has been either disappointing, horrible, or unsatisfactory. 👎🏾

I made the mistake of going to Panera instead of Chick-fil-A for a salad. I ordered a Green Goddess Cobb WITH chicken. I get my order and go home (my mistake). When I finally check my order, there was NO chicken on my wilted and horribly made salad. So, I call the store back because at this point they’re about to close. I spoke to the manager, Mark, and he tells me I could get another salad. I go there to get the new salad and I ordered a chicken sandwich for my sister. They take 30 minutes to make the salad and the sandwich then ask if I wanted chicken on my chicken salad. I’m never going back to Panera again. Every time is always a bad experience and it cost too much for a tiny salad to not get what you paid for.

My first time here I ate inside with my boyfriend and they did not plate any of my food for inside service. I’m dining in today and I ordered soup with half a grilled cheese, but the cheese was literally thicker than the bread put together. I wanted to get something else to fill me up and the cashier got the manager. He told me that they already fixed the sandwich, and then kind of questioned me about my decision to come up and tell them about it. I assured him that I will pay for what I’m getting and he told the cashier to just ring me up. I was just voicing my thoughts as a customer on the make of the sandwich and was not looking for a handout. So, the exchange was pretty weird and he was blunt. Im giving this store only two stars since the restroom was dirty, the service was mediocre, and the manager made me a little uncomfortable.

Yelp
I ordered a BLT, because they were out of bacon, one of the workers put bacon bits on my sandwich. Thank god, I opened the sandwich before I got all the way home. Not only did the sandwich look nasty, the place reeks and look as if it hadn't been properly cleaned in months.

Yelp
Ordered something with pepperoni. Out of pepperoni. Ordered something with lettuce. Out of lettuce. Ordered soup and they called my name and gave me a to go order with a 1" x 2" piece of bread and a tiny plastic fork. Soup from a can. Lots of laughs from employees that outnumbered customers at 6 pm. Never again.

Yelp
I've never had any problems with my order but I will say that drive thru is extra slow. I'm wondering if they're slaughtering fresh hogs for the bacon breakfast menu items or what. I mainly come here for my free sip club drink. The sips are only free with the unlimited sips membership at $10.99 per month and that only covers fountain drinks. With the "Sip Club," you can get free drinks every two hours for free. I think it's a pretty neat concept to generate passive income seeing how I don't believe that everyone in the "sippy club" will be coming back every two hours for a beverage. I know I don't and if you do, you've got too much time on your hands lol. Plus it's not like they're a McDonald's, one found on just about every corner. Panera's are pretty spread out and you would have to drive a good distance every two hours to really take full advantage of this membership. Now, if you're dining in; you are entitled to unlimited refills. So, kudos for the idea cuz the beverages are delicious but every two hours is genius. I like all of their drinks but the Passion Papaya Green Tea is my fav! The new charged lemonades (Fuji Apple, Cranberry Mango, Citrus Yuzu and Strawberry Lemon Mint) are great but have too much caffeine for my liking. They put guarana and green coffee in those drinks. I'm not a huge fan of their food items because they're a bit under seasoned to me but they appear to be healthy options. That aside, I have to say their baked pastries are awesome! From the bagels to the cookies, everything is deeeeelicious!!! I loved their pastry rings but had a pull way back....they're super addictive and not too kind on the waistline lol.

Yelp
Now I remember why I so rarely come here. I paid $18 for a 4 inch dry sandwich, warm bowl of mac n cheese, a cold 2 inch piece of banquet (which makes no sense since my order is a sandwich!) & a $3 12oz drink! Was supposed to be some kind of "pick 2" deal but I don't see how for almost $20! I went into the lobby to see the menu better & to check out the "deals". The drink station was filthy, had no straws, no napkins & I could go on & on. And if course a tip screen pops up as u finalize your order before even setting eyes or taste on your food. Why do we continue to patronize these expensive substandard establishments? I don't know but I'll scratch this one off my list for the next time I'm looking for something besides a burger.

Yelp
I get the mediterranean veggie sandwich with no cheese and add avocado with the Greek salad, no cheese and it's always so fresh and good. The staff is always nice and welcoming and the restaurant is super clean and uniform.

Yelp
I ordered a shrimp burrito that was the size of a frozen burrito in a package of six. Like really $16 for this. You talking about portion control and then left out the beans too really. Then had to go back and Hopefully, they make it over instead they gave me a tiny cup of refried beans. I'm used to people remaking my orders over when they messed up on their end. You just lost a customer totally one star no love.

Yelp
retards forgot my brownie and the sandwich was dreadful yall need new staff they can't do anything. Can't even give me a brownie that was already backed.

Yelp
Drive thru was slow but food ordered online was ready very quickly! so my food was ready but i sat in the drive thru for almost 10 min waiting to get it... still came fresh and hot! The steak sandwich is soooo yummy but be sure to add the 5 free toppings like arugula and greens and mayo and anything else! It makes a huge difference. The original mac is better than the broccoli mac in my opinion, the cheese is sharper is the original which i prefer. The portions are small for the price paid, but I'll still always love me some panera! In my salad I got a stray piece of lettuce that is obviously not good, but that was the worst of my experience!

Bobby B.

Yelp
How do you manage to not only get an order wrong... but consistently give me completely random sandwiches every time i go in. To start, this location has to be the easiest fast food/ cafe possible to work in yet still the staff manages to pretend they don't even know where they are. I purposely try to spark conversations to get any kind of acknowledgment just to even see if some of these workers are physically capable of saying anything other than "will that be all", and i got a head nod for a response. Please tell me what a head nod means after being asked how your day is. I get not liking your job but why does the vibe of just not being an enjoyable person to talk to sound appealing to you? This is mostly target to be fair so thanks to the lady working the window that's too cool to check if my vegetarian order (that i specified was vegetarian) actually is the CORRECT SANDWHICH before letting me spend $40 on something i can't even eat. rot.

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite fast food spots. Their salads are bomb. Even the flatbread pizzas are delicious, and let's not get started on their mac & cheese. I'm sure it's going to kill me one day but boy I cannot stop getting it!

Yelp
Great food fast service. Would definitely eat here again. My order was correct. And the people were so nice

Yelp
The food was good, you usually get what you expect out of panera. This location is never packed or noisy so you can get work/studying done here also.

Yelp
Trash Service. Trash Management. If you're military do not waste the visit. I wouldn't recommend at all EVER.

Yelp
Talk about a much overdue re-review! I love Panera. I eat here fairly frequently and I have sampled a bit of everything from the pastries to the soups and salad. My usual "go to" order is the chicken Caesar salad. The salad is HUGE and it comes with the dressing on the side which is perfect because I never really need a lot of dressing anyway. I'm also a really huge fan of their bagels and they have a pretty nice selection: chocolate chip, blueberry, everything, plain, asiago cheese, cherry and a few more. They also have a really good selection of pastries that are made fresh every day. It doesn't seem like a big deal that they have fresh croissants, but there are only so many places on the Westbank where you can get them. If you sign up for their rewards program, you get all kinds of free treats like bagels and cookies.

Yelp
I think I like the idea of Panera Bread more than the actual service and culture they try to portray. I always get suckered into purchasing the new item. This time it was the Tuna sandwich. I think it's pretty decent for Tuna. Nice flavor and not too much of an over dressing. I really want to give this location two stars because their customer service is extremely lacking. I always get dooped everytime I return to this location by a smile and friendly voice. A sandwich made with delicacy and respect. This is always met with a crash and burn on my return visit from some inconsiderate, untrained, and possibly burnt out person. You really have to learn to leave your feelings and emotions at the door when punching the clock as an employee. I will add that you have to do the same as the customer. So with my new found respect for people and what they may be experiencing personally. I shall leave a review with open eyes. This is not the best location, however, you can get a nice, and clean sandwich on the go. Now if that includes a person interested in treating you like they want to be treated is depending on the shift. It becomes more evident to me everytime I return to Panera, that I'm probably more interested in the idea and culture of the business than the business itself.

Yelp
Panera Bread originated in St Louis and has some of the best sourdough Bagels around. They have a plentiful selection of salads soups and sandwiches that will fulfill your appetite. Most of the offerings are fairly healthy. They also have a nice selection of coffees, teas, and soft drinks. Now that St Louis Bread has transformed to Panera Bread and then expand it across the United States, I still remember the first few stores in St Louis County on Clayton Road and Jungermann in St-charles County. Yes, Panera is a chain restaurant today, but its roots are and simple bread, coffee, and bagel shops

Yelp
Service. Not enjoyable. I'll lay blame at poor policy. I placed an order via mobile app, paid, and tipped. In the special instructions I wrote "Picking order up via drive thru due to solo driver and infant in the car, thanks" I pull up and wait in the drive thru line. Note, once in the line, you can't get out. There is no where to go. I tell the person taking order my situation and she says "no, we can't give you your order, you have to come in". So now I plead a little, I'm alone, I have a crying baby, I put it in the special instructions, and I tipped hoping this wouldn't be too big an issue. Alas, an issue it still was. My answer was still NO. The food is already made and bagged at this point but still NO. I resign myself to sit in the drive thru line and still go in. I get to the window, and shockingly they give me my order. I thanked them profusely and the worker told me " My manager said this is the last time" .... Nothing like spending $40 and getting scolded. I definitely didn't enjoy the customer service. So much for helping the customer.

Yelp
This is what supposed to be an almond chicken salad sandwich. I see no chicken salad I have grapes and chunks of chicken with lettuce and tomato not an almond or chicken salad insight. I was informed this was an almond chicken salad sandwich. I have never gotten anything subpar from here today was the first. We ordered a Fiji apple salad and it had no apple crisp on top. And I waited almost 10 minutes for a manager I actually had to go and ask again. When she came out she said yes that was a almond chicken salad sandwich she tells me it's in the sauce and I told her there was no sauce on the sandwich I put Mayo on it because it only had chicken and grapes on the sandwich with lettuce and tomato.

Anthony E.

Yelp
Probably the worst customer service I've ever seen nobody at register to help, everybody is at the back in the kitchen having a whole pow wow not giving two you know what to serve anybody, and they are on there phone and they were out of Bridgett probably cause nobody working.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
I haven't been here in years but boy did they improve. I had the half sandwich turkey avocado blt w chicken soup. The turkey was outstanding, and I love the bread they use here! The bread that comes with the soup comes out piping hot! It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. If there is a better option for healthy quality food on the go please let me know. Love this place!
google avatar

Leslie C.

Yelp
By far the worst experience I've had in years! This has to be the worst Restaraunt in the PANERA chain of stores. If this isn't a franchise change the owner is and has been in a 12 month COMMA! Tonight hardly a table that had been wiped down, plastic in the Steak and Arugula Sandwich. If an empty pastry counter is their idea of marketing (2 visits in a row) at 5:30 in the evening, they need reviving or just shut the doors. Have been to two others in the city and no issues. The West Bank Store "Sucks" PANERA should take the loss and close it! Or strip the franchise! Dont waste you hard earned dollars! From a private Chef and Caterer.

Sandra D.

Yelp
Might I say I love Panera, I opted into the unlimited drink offer. so I fell in love with the lemonades all of them. before I joined the unlimited drink, I hated the fountain drink lemonades, so when I joined I was hesitant. the first time since joining the drinks were so good, I came back time and time again. no problems what so ever. lately I think they may have gotten a new manager in the last few weeks, the drinks are back watered down and awful. the last couple of times I ordered the large drink with my meal and was told that they were out of large cups, so I was given a small cup each time. absolutely not happy about this. if I was in the store where I can get free fillips this may work, but not for a take out. The new manager is a failure, (order more cups will you). this place have changed and I am not happy at all.
google avatar

Morgan K.

Yelp
The food is great... proportioned well, but the price...The price is the killer. It's just way too overpriced for what it is. It's popularity is from people thinking you need to over pay for quality food. But that's trendy now. It was $30 for us to get a half sandwich and soup meal each.

Mimis B.

Yelp
The food was really good it was how I like it. The pizza was fantastic and cooked perfectly.
google avatar

Renea H.

Yelp
This used to be a great place to eat. I don't know what happened, but they seriously need to fix it. We went for dinner, and noticed that there wasn't anything in the bakery area. Ok so maybe they just didn't want to put anything out, or they packed up early? So we order our food, and the order comes. We are missing the baguettes. And they lady responds we ran out. Umm how does Panera break run out of bread? That would have been nice to know when we ordered smh. My daughter ordered a bowl of Mac and cheese, and what do they do? Charge her for a small and give her about a spoonful. I'm talking not enough for a 3 year old to eat much less a 13 year old. The wheat bread for my 6 year old daughters sandwich was hard like it's been sitting out all day. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place definitely isn't worth it

Barbara C.

Yelp
Hardly any filling, dry & disappointing, overpriced. Slow service. $30 for two people for mediocre sandwiches at best, I used to love Panera but it's getting progressively worse.
google avatar

Katrina N.

Yelp
I can not explain how mad I am. While I was ordering, the lady was already giving me an attitude. At that point I knew she was gonna F up my order. I ordered myself a whole chicken Cesar salad with extra dressing, small Mac & cheese and a smoothie. While ordering my food, she questioned if I wanted chicken on the salad. At this point, I'm confused and answered yes. I came to the window and paid $17 for a less than a half of salad. Literally two or three drips of salad dressing in each cup. The food is great, don't get me wrong but the customer service here is just terrible. I'm never coming back to this location. I'm so disappointed. This is the second time something has happened to me at this location. Save your gas from coming here and go to a different Panera.
google avatar

Nikkie N.

Yelp
I always hear good things about Panera Bread. and I've had them a few times. I think, I just don't like what they're offering. I know they're aiming for fresh, quality, healthy food items. But, I can't get with the program. I feel like their food is very bland & the quality isn't really quality. If I must say something nice, the bagels are really good and the prepackaged cream cheese too. Service has always been friendly. The dining area is usually clean.
google avatar

Eli C.

Yelp
I keep trying with this place. I really do. I don't think my issues are with this location but rather what panera has to offer as a whole. food is lackluster. salads are underwhelming and the soups lack flavor and presentation appeal. Sure the piece of bread that comes with your meal is always good, but if that's what I am going for than that's become a very expensive tiny piece of bread. i've tried 3 soups and about four salads, and my final verdict? i'd rather just go to subway, where at least i can customize my order. Panera can not even offer a simple dressing option of oil and vinegar, you must use one of their prefab options. the french onion sup had four sad croutons floating in it and a handful of shredded cheese dumped in it, floating sadly and coldly in lukewarm broth
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
I was really stoked to see Panera open on the West Bank. Today, my grandmother and I went on my recommendation. I've used Panera for catering in nearly every office where I've worked. I have never had any issues, and the food is always good. This experience was not a great one. The woman at the counter had to have us each repeat our orders. Then when we go to the window where we're told my grandmother's lemonade will be. The girl behind the window gives us huge attitude, "Do you need something?!" While waiting two women came up with errors to their orders. Our food comes out, still no lemonade. Little Miss Attitude says she'll call when it's ready. We sit down to eat, my salad is missing chicken. I go back to get it fixed, and LMA snatches thee salad bowl, throws a handful of chicken on it, and tosses the bowl back to me. No apologies. Nothing. Just attitude. Halfway through her sandwich, my grandmother still has no tea. I get up to go ask, and it's just sitting on the corner of the counter. I ask if it's hers since no one called her name and got a snotty nod back and nothing else. The food was okay. My salad (once corrected) was great. Soup was mediocre at best. Grandmother's sandwich was okay, but she complained about the bread being ice cold as if it were refrigerated. Panera needs to do a better job of training at new restaurants before opening to the public. The service and attitude was beyond horrible.
google avatar

Jenny M.

Yelp
Just came from here. I ordered 2 large salad, a small mac n cheese and a small soup. How do you forget to put chicken in the salad for the southwest. My Asian salad was missing wonton chips. Either the person cooking don't give a damn or have no idea what they are doing.
google avatar

Stacie G.

Yelp
This restaurant is needed here. You need to figure out how to staff it. So slow each time. I ordered a sandwich 15 minutes.... later I don't have it. Not enough workers , it's a shame. I go to other store in other states and they are amazing. Don't think I will be back anytime soon. You need to figure it out Panera or it will fold!
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
For what it is, this place is great. They're consistent so you know what you're getting every time you order. I love the calorie info posted on the website and the menu. Staff is always friendly. Everything is always fresh and delicious. So many options. Love it!

Alexis C.

Yelp
I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD!!! I don't know about the Panera Bread stores in other locations but this one right here, THE ABSOLUTE WORSE! I don't care if the food is good, it's overpriced anyway. But that's not even the issue. NOBODY IN THAT STORE KNOWS HOW TO GIVE THE CORRECT ORDER!! They sold a spicy Thai chicken salad with NO CHICKEN in it, they've SOLD me bakery items they DID NOT HAVE on MULTIPLE occasions! And when I told them of their mistake, the manager will credit me these missing items.....but then will never be at the store when I go back. And the employees are GHETTO! They don't want to listen, they're rude, they cut me off when I speak, and they never call their manager...even when I have requested they call their manager. Simply unprofessional. DO NOT go to the Panera Bread on Manhattan Blvd if you want good customer service.
google avatar

Gaëlle R.

Yelp
I have been going there since they opened a few months ago. I always get the "take out" option but always take the time to go inside to order; the people working there are nice, polite, welcoming, so I enjoy going in and actually talking to them instead of a machine. My orders are always correct, nicely package, well made, fresh, hot... The spoon, napkins, bread, croutons, etc. are never missing from the bag. Great healthy option with amazing staff!
google avatar

Yelp
Panera Bread falls in my comfort food chain restaurants list so im very familiar with their menu and overall procedures. This location was close to my hotel and didn't disappoint. Each time I went there was little to no line inside, but the drive thru was always busy. On one visit, Delilah and Hunter were very helpful in helping me decide on a salad to try since I stick to a pannini/soup combo typically. I tried the Green Goddess Cobb which was pretty good. My Pick 2 was delicious keeping up Panera's great reputation. The Watermelon Strawberry Lemonade melted too quickly for me so I doubt I'll have that again. With Rapid Pick-up, you cant go wrong. Works very well when I dont feel like talking to anyone. I can be in and out. Never had issues at this location. Quick and friendly service each time.
google avatar

Preeya B.

Yelp
I came when this location was still pretty new, so they were all about providing good service. It was more like a full service place. They brought our food out to us. They had a staff member open the door when you entered the restaurant and another was picking up our used plates. Somehow my family almost always causes problems when ordering food. My mom is allergic to bell peppers and was trying to figure out which items on the menu contain bell peppers. After some confusion with the nice lady taking our order, the manager was called and they brought out a binder detailing all ingredients for all of their items. They were very nice about it, and I was impressed that they were so thorough. But...I didn't really like my food. I got a roasted veggie sandwich. The paste they used was way too sour for me. I couldn't finish the sandwich.
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
I ordered a Turkey avocado blt with extra meat and extra bacon. This sandwich took 25 min to make until I got my order to go. This is ridiculous. The EXTRA MEAT and EXTRA bacon were non existent. This is the worst Panera Bread I have been too. There was only 1 person in front of me and it takes 25 min to make a simple sandwich? What a joke.
google avatar

Nicola H.

Yelp
The food is great but this is the second time I have eaten here and both times they didn't include my dressing for the green goddess salad... very disappointed. I live to far away to drive all the way back for dressing.

Brianna S.

Yelp
Fuji Apple Chicken Salad but they forgot the chicken? I always go to this Panera bread, this is the first time I've ever been disappointed. But their allowed to make a mistake too. Otherwise, I love Panera Bread & the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad is typically my favorite!

Yelp
Finally, been waiting for something different on the westbank for awhile. Small line but that went quick since all registers were open. Had the pick 2, potato soup and flatbread Sammy, it was filling. I also had the tea which was fresh and tasted good. Service was very attentive and friendly. Oh, also took home the pastry ring. It was fresh and delicious. Think king cake with a twist. Leaving one star off until the new car smell goes away and they maintain this level.
google avatar

Denise K.

Yelp
Thank God for fresh bagels on the Westbank. Don't know what the first reviewer was talking about. Probably just a poser. Anyway this Panera just opened three days ago. Ate here yesterday. Had the split Apple turkey sandwich with the broccoli cheddar soup. It was just as consistently good as the other Panera locations and the restaurant is clean and the service is wonderful. Everyone is very friendly. Will definitely make this one of my regular spots for fresh healthy food.
google avatar

Bella S.

Yelp
I was happy to see Panera Bread open on the westbank since I never stop at the one in Metairie. So, I asked around about it and got great reviews. One day I wanted lunch but was tried of my usual and decided to give them a try. I really didn't know what to get and was in the drive through so I had to hurry. I picked the choose two (Mac & Cheese with a Ham and Cheese). My order was correct, the food was hot and fresh but the Mac & cheese wasn't good at all very bland something was missing and the sandwich was okay. Overall, it's not worth the money. I'll be sticking to Mcalisters deli it's way better.

Yelp
The worst service, always rushing and never a nice attitude. It takes for ever to get your order and sometimes more than 30 minutes.

Yelp
I had given Panera Westbank many chances but this was it. The first two chances involved two steak on everything bagels in which I had to look for and rearrange the one slice of meat. I had had them from this location before to know that this wasn't the norm. The other time involved the manager making an unnecessary amount of noise with the pans in addition to talking loud in front of the patrons. Another time was my experience with a stone faced employee who I have never seen with a smile on her face. She is not inviting which should be a requirement if business is wanting customers. In addition, she was an older lady which is alarming because she isn't setting an example for the younger employees. Yesterday I ordered a Rapid Order and picked it up to take home. Once home, I noticed that there wasn't a piece of chicken on the half southwest chile lime chicken salad that I ordered. I called the restaurant and the person I spoke to didn't offer my money back but offered a whole salad when I returned and that the information would be left on a sticky note. When I returned the next day, I saw the stoned face employee and was hoping she didn't serve me. Well, she ended up doing so and I told her the story and she requested to see my receipt and notecard with the notes from the telephone call the day prior (about the whole salad for the error). She marked my receipt as received and told someone in the kitchen to make the salad. When it was ready, it was a half and I said that the person I spoke to the day before said I would get the whole. I told the lady who I talked to initially that the person I spoke to the day prior said I would get a whole and she said that the person I spoke to didn't have the authority to offer the whole salad and she was giving me what I paid for. I then asked to have my money back. We went to the register and due to the disgusting look on her face, I said that none of this would be happening had my order been correct. She said that she was giving my money back as she didn't completely roll her eyes but she looked up as if I was bothering her. I told her that she always has an attitude and she said that she didn't know me and I said that I knew her (from the miserable look on her face). I walked out with my refund and immediately called corporate who said that offering the whole salad was the right thing to do and someone locally will be contacting me in the future about this matter.

Yelp
I didn't try the Bagels...looking forward to this week. I went the weekend they opened. The French Onion Soup was delicious. Had the Steak and White Cheddar Pannini was disappointed...maaabe 4 oz.s of meat on the whole sandwich. Thought it was over priced. Basically I was drowned in the large amount of bread in the Soup and the small amount of meat in the Pannini. May try again this weekend before I pass final judgement.

Yelp
In keeping with all Paneras I have ever been to, love the atmosphere, the menu, the pastries, etc. Ordered a salad with no chicken, but they served me a salad with chicken, and charged me for the chicken. When I brought it to their attention, the manager was the one to ensure I was refunded, but the staff just removed the chicken and gave it back to me, seemingly annoyed. I'd come here again, however, and would recommend it. It seems like at least the leadership cares about how its customers are treated, and hopefully will continue to work to get the staff on board.

Yelp
I have a Panera's one mile from my home so I eat there often. It is always consistently good so when we landed on the Westbank in Harvey and saw a Panera's, we were delighted. The young lady that took our order had a mouthful of marbles and would not speak up. We kept asking her to repeat herself. Then she developed an attitude. Checkout in Houston is quite different than Harvey but she couldn't seem to grasp that. Ultimately we placed our order and proceeded to select a table only to find that there was not one clean table in the place so we had to ask the manager to have this addressed. Reluctantly a young man came out to clean the tables. We died a million deaths with the daggers he threw at us with his eyes. The food was adequate although the baquette was cold and hard. Since family is in the area, we come back often but I doubt we will return to this Panera's.
