I am absolutely dumbfounded about the quality of service, sheet apathy and contempt I have been treated with today at Panera lone tree. From start to finish my experience today has been disappointing to say the least. I placed an order for delivery today with Panera for an office event, something we regularly do. We’ve never had a problem before or if there was an issue it was generally minor and quickly resolved by a member of staff. Today’s order arrived 30 minutes late, and arrived missing several items. To make matters worse we work in a large office building and the dasher didn’t even bother to come to the suite but simply left the item in the second floor lobby, marked it as delivered and then just abandoned it for anyone to take. We had to scramble last minute to make arrangements for the staff members who weren’t going to get fed. I called to speak to someone and was asked if I could hold. I stayed on hold for around 5 minutes when the young lady comes back in the phone she asks me for my order number, I asked her to bear with me a moment while I got it she goes “oh my god” in an exasperated voice despite it being literally seconds and then she hangs up the phone. I call back and this time a manager answers me, shes swamped as it’s the lunch rush which i get and she tries her hardest to take my info down and issue me the refund on the missing orders but was not able to talk to me about the lack of professionalism of her staff due to the rush. I called corporate to talk to somebody, they weren’t stateside she seemed super apathetic about it, didn’t seem to care and sounded like she was reading a script. Said she’d pass it along and go have a good day. Will not be patroning our office orders with them again

This location is filthy. Zero pride in their work- we were told to order at the kiosk. We ordered 2 bagels and 2 coffees. It took 10 minutes for them to call our order and they served us 2 cold bagels in a joint plate. The coffee was old and creamer had been sitting out who knows how long. Staff looked inconvenienced. $18 for 2 BS bagels and old coffee. It was a last resort to come here and now I’ll never return to Panera again

I live in an area that does not have Panera. Therefore, everything I travel to the Denver Metro area, I have to find a Panera and get my breakfast fix. Quality of the food and timely preparation seem to be well standardized, as I have been to Panera stores throughout the Metro area and have always been pleased.

Not a good option for a quick stop. The self-serve kiosk directs you to grab your own drink cup, but none are present. Waited for an employee to be free, when made aware of why I'm standing aimlessly in front of the self-serve kiosk looking for self-serve drinks, the closest employee told me they don't make the cups readily available at this location due to "people stealing cups". Punishment being passed on to paying customers aside, why even have the kiosks?

I’ve come to this place many times to work and the atmosphere and service was always great last year. I haven’t been over in several months which is why I was so surprised as the reason why I’m leaving this review. When I came in to order the Lady that took my order was named Denice (sorry bad at spelling) and I think her name tag said something about management and seemed annoyed because I forgot I wanted a drink and put in my rewards. Then I noticed they had moved the mango drink to behind the counter instead by the fountain drinks. I think it might be because of the high caffeine but she made a comment about how I didn’t tell her I wanted that. Not only that. But when I was waiting for my food they incorrectly told someone’s food was ready once and then again when after I got my food. When I got my food the new hire (Dean) at first didn’t give me a plate for my soup along with no spoon or bread bowl. Which I understand and empathize cause he told me it’s his first day along with he was the only one prepping food which it’s not his fault but whoever is in charge. Dean was really nice and in my opinion took his first day food rush and getting yelled at amazing. When I asked for my bread bowl there was an older smaller worker in an orange Panera hat that yelled at him saying bread is bread and that everything is sour. I know it was during a busy time however it’s never ok to treat someone like that. That what drew the straw for me especially when I found out that today was his first day when I asked for that employee’s name that had yelled at him. He didn’t know cause it was his first day. Not only it was messier than the last time I came in. I used to work in retail and had to deal with stressful and difficult times and coworkers as well as customers. So I know how to at works (despite it being the food industry). So it could be why there were tons of plates piled up (image posted below) I just think they need to hire more people at this location and quality people. I also noticed that on my receipt it says the cashiers name was John and according to the ladies name tag she’s not John. I stayed finishing my review and John came in. I don’t know if it works similar to retail but you’re not supposed to use other people’s log in. I don’t know if it’s because I came at a semi- busy time and were obviously understaffed however I think that shouldn’t be an excuse to treat colleagues and or customers poorly. The food was great and yummy as always.

Wow, not customer oriented and I'm one of those customers that don't need special handling. The little lady taking the orders looks like she got up on the wrong side of the bed. I was up twice and both times she acted put out and was a grump. I don't expect a song and dance but first thing in the morning, come into this with somebody who looks like they don't want to be there, much less talk to anybody. Gee, I actually had the nerve to make her do her job. Judging from a lot of the reviews and no responses from the franchise owner and/or manager, seems they don't care. Maybe it was a manager that rang me up? At any rate, hope you all have a splendid day and things in your lives start getting better.

This location is very dirty as others have mentioned. Cobwebs, dirt, and sticky tables. Cream and milk containers are not being maintained. Empty self serve iced tea containers. Had to ask for my self serve cup as it was forgotten when my order was ready.

Her warmth and professionalism truly stood out, and I’m so grateful for the way she handled everything. I sincerely hope she continues to thrive — she’s a gem!

First time ordering and having it delivered. I ordered a drink that was not included so I called and they refunded the cost. Later I decided to have the cookie that I had ordered (chocolate chip). The order sticker on the package said chocolate chip but the packaging said Oatmeal Raisin. I think someone there needs to pay more attention!

Not a bagel. It was bun that tasted like a bun. Disgusting. And the woman that helped me had a glove on one hand, got my bagel, put it in the toaster three times with gloved hand. Removed glove to take money. All good. THEN she rubbed her nose with said glove then took glove and used it as a holder to grab my bagel. I mean come on! Disgusting. And the butter was Rock hard and not spreadable, even close! I always hated Panera, decided to give it another try, and I'll stand with my original decision.

Think twice if you want fast food or are in a hurry. Had to get a refund because it took 25 minutes to try and get 2 soufflés to go. Didn't happen and then waited another 5 minutes to get our refund. Manager is extremely unprofessional! On the bright side the 2 cashiers were really sweet. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

Quick lunch. Haven't had Panera for a while. I wasn't too hungry so I asked if I could order the kid's lunch. The server wasn't too keen but she agreed. I decided on the grilled cheese meal with yogurt and a cup of water. He went with a sandwich meal - chips and a fountain drink. The server thawed as we spoke and was friendly at the end. We received a pager which would notify us when our meals were ready. Got our beverages and then grabbed a table. When the pager went off he went to get our lunch. The grilled cheese was not great. The cheese tasted rubbery. The yogurt was nice. His sandwich was fine. I'm not a fan of sandwiches and this visit didn't change my mind. The table we grabbed hadn't been wiped down. Overall meh.

This is my second time to try this location and the 2nd time that it has taken more than 10 minutes to make a simple breakfast sandwich. They aren't that busy and the crew that is working is moving VERY slow and all seem to have an attitude if you ask about your order. This isn't rocket science.

there's dishes, stacked and stacked by the trash cans, which was gross, and then the trash all over the ground and food on the ground. There was dust everywhere and we had to clean off our own table because none of the tables were clean. They're sticky fingerprints everywhere and the food tasted old and gross. for $20 for one meal I would expect a better environment.

Ordered at this location for the first time, including a catering order. The person at the register was incredibly friendly and upbeat, very wonderful start to the day. The catering order was packaged beautifully and the items were all accurate and labeled well. I appreciated that because I was ordering for a team of folks having a very busy day, and the last thing they needed was a wrong or missing order! The food was a huge hit with everyone and it was great that the catering menu let people choose from a wide range of options.

Nice people working here, free birthday treats if you sign up for their free rewards program. Free WiFi too. Good pastries and drinks at this location. On my visit I got a free bday pecan pastry and a hot tea. They had 6 selections to choose from and I enjoyed their Earl Grey. Pecan pastry wasn't dried out even though I came in the late afternoon, so that pleased me as I had minimal hope. Good price because before the free pastry discount my total was under $6! After my discount it was $2+some change. Clean, lots of variety in pastries, hot and cold beverages and plenty of seating! I will definitely be back to try their soups and sandwiches at this location!

This will be my last visit to Panera. Lackadaisical service. A supposed hot sandwich served cold. Too many negative experiences lately. Not just at the Lone Tree Panera but others as well. I don't know what happened to Panera - it used to be terrific.

Panera has gone so downhill within the last decade. I just spent 8 dollars on the most hospital food esque breakfast sandwhich I've ever seen. There was zero flavor, and I cannot believe this place genuinely still has customers. The main customers it does seem to still pull are older retirees, whose taste buds have long since vanished in their old age. This place is bland, overpriced, and limited in the quantity of food you get. Spend your money anywhere else but Panera.

I stopped into this location for breakfast prior to heading into work. The service was extremely slow, to get an order taken. So, I opted to utilize their kiosk to place my order, in hopes of expediting the process. The wait for my order was over and beyond the typical wait at Panera. When my order was ready, my hot drink was not. Hence another wait! The staff was apologetic for the wait, and someone checked to make sure my drink was good. However, once I got to my office, there was no chicken on my sandwich. When I called, there was no answer....

Free wi-fi!!! Chocolate Croissants!! Yummy sandwiches! This Panera over in the Park Meadows vicinity is crazy busy. Last time I went in there it was about 10A and every table was packed with people and their laptops soaking in the free wi-fi. Love their breakfast pastries and their sandwhiches are top notch too (breakfast criossant and turkey artichoke are my picks). I do think they are a little slow and sometimes if you get there when it is packed the herd of people waiting for their food is a bit unruly - but it is all good!

Usually Panera does a fabulous job whether eating in or taking out. Today, however, was extremely disappointing. We ordered on line for curbside pick up. My daughter got there when it was supposed to be ready. She waited, she called (was told order was coming), waited some more, went in & finally after 30 minutes got a bag of food. She got home only to find half of our order missing. She called to complain, put on hold for 5+ minutes. They said they would credit us for the missing items, but they needed us to come in with CC. Working from Home, our lunch time is now used up. Finally they agreed to credit us the entire order. They kind of made it right, but frustrating. They were definitely off today.

Located in a good area, right on Colorado Blvd. close to Cherry Creek & right in center of Glendale. Professional staff explaining thing you may not know about bowl sizes and/or ingredients. Toilets are clean and I usually go here for the soups only. I recommend French Onion soup in Bread Bowl and Broccoli Cheddar soup. You notice many students studying here so the atmosphere is pretty quiet.

I typically treat myself to lunch here every Saturday and have never been disappointed. The service is always friendly and punctual. The sandwiches, salads, and soups are always fresh with quality ingredients. I also like their new addition of flavored blended lemonades and juice drinks. I usually get the green goddess chicken Cobb salad or so a half sandwich and half salad. The chicken salad sandwich, Asiago steak, and turkey bravo are all yummy sandwich choices. The soups are also great as well - the fall butternut squash soup topped with pumpkin seeds and quintessential fall on a spoon. Dining in at this location is also nice. It's always clean and they have tons of seating including an enclosed outdoor greenhouse-looking space with glass ceilings and large windows if you want to sit outside but stay warm. I would make sure to get the free rewards card so you earn free drinks, cookies, and discounts off of your meal. I usually have a free reward every few weeks or so.

I was in the area and decided to stop in. There is plenty of parking and no wait. The first thing I see is the delicious baked goods. I have to stay away since I need protein. I decided on the turkey chili and Chile lime chicken salad with a baguette on the side. I was trying to avoid the baked goods, but couldn't resist dipping pieces of the baguette in my chili. It was so delicious and crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The chili was very filling, so I may have to take most of the salad to go. I have to say the salad was a little bland. The tortilla strips and corn salsa were a nice compliment. Maybe an avocado dressing would be better. I also tried the passion papaya green tea, which was as refreshing and not too sweet. They have good service and my food came out before I could fill my cup with tea. Free wi-fi was a plus. Very relaxing and satisfying experience.

Came in at 7pm on a Sunday night. I wasn't feeling good so I wanted chicken noodle soup and picked the choose two: chicken noodle soup and the bacon Mac and cheese. The guy at the front was super friendly and recommended the bacon over the Baja Mac and cheese, so I took his recommendation. I live in Colorado Springs so I was on my way home from work and stopped by knowing things we be closed by the time I get home. After an hour drive, I got home to find two Baja Mac and cheeses and two bags of kettle chips. I was the only one that ordered something when I walked in and only one family was already eating sitting down. I am so upset and confused at how this order was wrong. I am now feeling more sick and don't have any places other then the grocery store that I have to now go to, to get my soup.

I paid $22 for them to be out of baguettes and bread my sandwich was suppose to come with. At least I got offered an apple. That's why you go to Panera, for the apples. Oh wait I forgot to mention my order wasn't even close to the "Chefs Spicy Special". I had no sauce, or a toasted bun. Literally a piece of chicken with lettuce on soggy bread. My friend and I decided to come in this evening, and wow, I am less than impressed with everything. We came in about 2 hours before close. They started cleaning up right as we got in there. They told us that we couldn't sit in the main dining room, and that we had to sit in the atrium since there were cleaning up. The guy behind the counter, Alex Q. took 5 minutes to take our order. As my friend was ordering, she asked if they have anything like chicken noodle soup. He said they didn't, but he was gate-keeping the fact that they did have something very similar to chicken noodle soup, which we found out about when I got my food. When I was ordering my food, he was showing me the drink sizes when he dropped the cup that he gave me, right on the nasty, germy kitchen floor. YUCK! We are in a time of COVID people! If I get sick anytime soon, I know who to blame, Alex Q. He then proceeded to put the device that alerts you when your food is ready, on top of the rim of my drink cup. SERIOUSLY?! I asked for a new one, but he refused to give me one. REALLY?! Then, the girl with pink/purple hair was being rude to me when I got my drink. She was being rude about how I was getting my drink. She insisted I get my drink from a pitcher, rather than the dispenser. She was very snarky with her tone. My food was for the most part just ok. The sandwich was overloaded with too much mayo! Icky. My friends sandwich was sloppy, and messy. Her salad was decent, and my soup was as well. After we were finished with our food, the girl with the purple hair proceeded to be rude when she told us where to put our dishes. Super disappointed in her customer service skills. Very disappointed, and will not be giving my business to this location ever again.

Usually good service and predictable food at Panera. And I understand the underlying delivery model of a company using the word "Bread" in its name. At Lone Tree location, however a staff training issue may involve the clerk, when asked if there was even one Gluten free option for a gluten sensitive person in our group, not rudely blurting out "NO! WE'RE a BREAD COMPANY, ya know?" Oh, yes... yes you are, and now with several fewer customers after that sarcastic retort. Oh, BTW, Gluten-free bread IS STILL BREAD! Won't be back.

I ordered lunch from this location near park meadows mall. The initial time frame showed less than hour, and all of a sudden the grub hub time frame extended to an additional 45 mins. No way!!!! I cancelled the order and just drove to the location. The order was easy and didn't wait too long. Overall good service in house but horrible through grub hub.

Worst experience ever!! Ordered online for Rapid Pick Up. I waited for my order for 20 minutes after arriving. I saw my order complete waiting near the delivery area. Once I was able to grab a Panera workers attention, they believed they misplaced my order. They found it in the delivery bag. People that arrived after me and ordered in person received their food well before me... so much for rapid. Since my food sat there for so long, when I got home and opened my sandwich, it was completely soggy and disgusting. See photo. Overall, I was very frustrated and did not feel the team members understood my frustration, or how long I waited. Moral of the story, stay away from this Panera!

So the manager Casey... how did she manage to get this job or keep it? It is very evident she is not running the location well, like AT ALL. I'm regular here so I feel my review is pretty valid. First and foremost, the turnover is extremely high, which is a good indication of poor management. I've been in there and personally witnessed employees being stretched thin due to low staff, and I've seen customers approach Casey for help when she isn't doing anything, and she has told these customers That someone else will help them and then walk off. A good manager should get in and help her poor, understaffed employees. During busy hours, she is nowhere to be seen. The location is not well kept. The few times that she has been present, she doesn't seem to be contributing. She is always just standing there talking. This location has gone downhill ever since she took over. Corporate needs to get involved because she is doing a terrible job. Until then, I'll be dining at a different location.

I think that sometimes Panera gets a bad rap for messing up orders but I really enjoy their salads. I go to Panera generally 1 to 2 times a week for their apple / pecan / blue cheese salad yumminess. Although they often have long lines I try to time it right before or after the rush and it isn't to bad. Their bread served with the salads is also pretty amazing and I always double up on the baguette for a minimal charge. Good salad / great price!

On 4/18/2020 I came here for lunch. Paid $30.00 the cashier had no gloves or a mask on. After we paid we heard two men laughing and talking while making orders with no mask on. That's gross we decided to leave and take the $30.00 loss. Get your staff together Panera their laughing and talking all over our food. I don't want to catch COVID trying to support these restaurants. ***Gross***

Unfortunately the food and service has not gotten better. I have given this location a few more tries including a couple catering orders -- but results have actually been worse. It is a shame since I have experience better at other locations. If you do end up going here for lunch, i recommend visiting prior to noon.

Panera offers curb side pick up!! Stoked about that. I was craving a grilled cheese sandwich today (which is very unusual) and I decided to try out Paneras new chipotle mayo grilled cheese with Gouda. A little disappointed to be honest. There was no Gouda on the sandwich, only American cheese and the cheese wasn't really melted at all. So pretty underwhelming if you ask me. The chipotle ranch was yummy though! Not sure if I would try this again... but yah, not with the $9.

I was in Lone Tree, CO for work for a week in which I visited this Panera Bread location most days. Each visit was as pleasant as the first. Erik made conversation the first day and remembered my name each sequential day that I visited. He did an excellent job! The manager was also very talkative and always had a smile as she navigated through the restaurant helping where needed. This is by far the best Panera Bread I have visited!

DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY - they use door dash and don't stand behind deliveries. My salad was delivered to the wrong office on Friday and Panera said have to call Door Dash in California even thought Panera got my money! In the past, I received a salad with brown romaine, emailed photos and no response. I also got a chicken ceasar with no chicken but they did give me a credit for that. If you want a salad drive to Mad Greens or Bad Daddy's!!!

This place sucks. I'd rather drive to a further Panera than come here. They've messed up my order too many times to count. I've held off reviewing till now cause my most recent order where I picked up orders for 4 people, they somehow managed to mess up every single one. If you can't read a simple order ticket then what are you doing working at a place that runs off the ability to read a simple order. I've given them way too many chances before this review and they blew it. Seriously, don't come here, there's a reason for it's crappy reviews.
