Pangaea Dinosaur Grill was a lot of fun because of the ambiance. We drove all the way to Phoenix (approximately 2 hours away) per our daughters request, for her birthday.
Overall, the decorations were really cool. Dinosaurs "soaring" overhead... they were mechanical, so they would open and close there mouths, arms, legs, wiggle there bodies, or tails, etc. They were life like, but not overly realistic. They had bones/fossils displayed on the walls.
Our waiter was extremely friendly, and he was good, but not exactly attentive. It was a little busy, so perhaps this was why, however it was hard to get his attention. I was happy though, that when the kids sprite came back as soda water, he didn't just eliminate the option, like many other places do. He actually had the issue remedied, and brought back some nice tasting sprite for them, leaving them content with there desired drinks.
The food was good, kids ate everything up, as did the husband... my gyros were extremely messy, but tasted pretty good too.
I would come here again, for the experience, but I don't think it would be my go-to place, even if we lived a lot closer. I also forgot to mention it was my daughters birthday, so I have no idea if they even do anything special for that, and they didn't ask either.
