Do American Teens Still Need the Mall? | Eater

"A tongue-in-cheek, dinosaur-themed stand serving a mash-up of Mexican and Greek-inspired offerings — Dino Burgers, Mexican street-food riffs and oversized fries — that leans hard into indulgent, salty comfort food. Its loud, kitschy concept appeals to groups of friends reuniting for cheap, filling meals before movies, even as the food’s sodium-forward profile is an oft-noted drawback." - Jamie Loftus

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I had the falafel pita and my wife had the veggie burger and they were both delicious. The atmosphere is fun with moving dinosaurs which our grandson enjoyed. We will definitely go back with him.

Google
What a wonderful surprise. We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed the food. I got the strawberry field salad and it was delicious!! This picture was half of it, the portion was so big. The decor was awesome and they showed great TV dino movies.

We went on a Thursday for lunch. It was busy, but no wait. Our server was extraordinary and super high-energy. The food was good and our meal came out quickly. Fries were amazing! We got drink refills when appropriate without asking and our check was timely. Prices are what I would expect at a themed restaurant near boardwalk attractions. If you're there, I recommend Psngea. It was fun.

Google
Fun atmosphere with dinosaurs. Great service! Food was pretty good. The chicken kabobs were a bit too salty for me though and the pita didn't come with hummus. I did like the rice and salads though. The fish and chips were good, but not sure why they came with cocktail sauce but it also came with tartar sauce which was appropriate, but the tartar sauce was just okay. Drinks were great!

Loved everything about this place. I love dinosaurs and it was an overall enjoyable evening. The staff are so kind and the food was affordable.

Google
Parents, if you're looking for a genuinely relaxing dining experience with kids, Pangea Dinosaur Grill is your answer! The food was delightful, but what truly set it apart was the entertainment. The restaurant is packed with cool dinosaurs to look at, and best of all, TVs playing kid shows. This meant we could actually enjoy our meal in peace! My daughter was over the moon with her dinosaur nuggets, especially since they came with a little toy dinosaur she immediately started playing with and continues to cherish. Fantastic food and a truly kid-friendly (and parent-friendly!) environment.

Google
Our servers name was Morgan! He was very kind and attentive. I really appreciate good service, so thank you so much for taking care of my two kids and I. Atmosphere went down only because it seemed a few dinosaurs were not operating. Some covered in cheap Christmas lights. Ha, either way Morgan made the experience wonderful!

Google
Brought my granddaughter after a day of seeing Dinosaur 🦕. The atmosphere is awesome. It has great dinosaur decor, but food honestly needs work. I was disappointed honestly as the food lacked sazon/flavor. I'm not sure how you can mess up a burger and pizza? Honestly, I was disappointed with the food we got. We were trying to play it safe by ordering pizza and hamburger, and yet it was not safe enough. Im sorry for the horrible pictures, but I forgot to take some pictures before we tore it up. We ate cause we were hungry. I personally would not try this restaurant again. Price was a little high, and to me, it was not worth it.

Yelp
Good place to grab a bite while visiting all the attractions at Arizona Boardwalk. We sat outside and had a cocktail each - he had some kind of tropical cocktail that came with a cute little umbrella and I had a mule, thankfully served in an actual mule cup (too many places don't use the copper cup) and both drinks had a little plastic dinosaur attached to the rim. My guy ordered the Spicy Cheddar hot dog. Thankfully he said it tasted much better than it looked! Instead of fries, he ordered the Greek salad so I could have some of the salad. The salad was mediocre. Great place to sit and enjoy a break before heading to the next attraction.

Yelp
We liked this place! It was our second time here, last time I got a pizza! Easily can be made to order. This time we went with a big group of our family! I ordered the fish and shrimp platter. Crispy and yummy. Flavorful. My brother got the chicken skewers. Rich in flavor and comes with 2 sides. My mom got the Sonoran dog, she liked it. My dad got the carne asada fries. And my SIL got the cheese burger Not a bad place. Comes with lots of options. Family friendly - TVs all around playing toddler appropriate shows. We were there to celebrate my nephews first birthday. Unfortunately there wasn't much food he could eat. Luckily they had apple sauce for him. Our server brought him a birthday treat which allowed us to sing to him and he could eat the whip cream. He loved it!! So nice of her. I didn't catch her name.

Yelp
This place was far better than I had expected it to be! The prices were great! We got a burger and nachos as well as the fish and chips The fish definitely needed salt but overall was quite good!!

Yelp
I stopped by after the aquarium for some food for the kiddos and ourselves - this would be my first time here and it was sooo cute! Love the ambiance and the decoration and vibe! The service was great! The food is yummy and came out quickly! I definitely will return. The kiddos loved it as well.

Jesus H.

Yelp
My girlfriend took her kid here for a BDay party and we'll, let's say it wasn't worth the cost. She spent $750 and it's definitely not worth it. Not only that but it seemed like the staff that was overseeing the party was unorganized, were making comments like "well if we do that, it's might be messy" while doing the activities the package came with. Also telling us they don't have more than 10 plates for us, then said "sorry, here you go" and brought us double that. Seemed like doing their job was an inconvenience for them. Not worth it..

Yelp
The hostess are sooo rude here, especially the man working during the day. We have been multiple times and they have always rude. However, I wish I got our servers name because he was awesome. Food is good. Not too shabby. The fires are awesome!!! They need to spend some time talking to their hostess because it makes you not want to come here and it's misleading representation of their establishment.
google avatar

Yelp
Located on the top floor of the Arizona Boardwalk this is a great spot to grab lunch after visiting to the aquarium. Our hostess was super friendly & good with kids. She also was seen lending a helpful hand delivering food & clearing tables. Impressive! Our server was sweet & patient. Good was really good. Favorites were the Mac & cheese, beer battered onion rings, Sonoran dog, Cretaceous burger and the chicken sandwich. Fun decor, Dino movies and overall great atmosphere.

Yelp
Dine Like a (Well-Fed) Caveman! After exploring the Land of the Dinosaurs, we were starving--and Pangaea Dinosaur Grill absolutely delivered! Honestly, even if you're not visiting the dino exhibit, this restaurant is worth the trip all on its own. I was there with my mom and my 9-year-old nephew, and we ordered the gluten-free pizza... and WOW. I've had my fair share of GF pizzas (usually tiny, overpriced, and underwhelming), but this one blew us away. It was a full 15-inch pizza, loaded with cheese and pepperoni, and had a flavorful sauce that made every bite delicious. Even with all three of us digging in, we still had leftovers! Total win. The menu had plenty of other tasty-looking options too--everything from tacos, salads, and burgers to Mediterranean dishes like souvlaki and pitas. Something for every craving! Plus, they serve beer, wine, and cocktails, which makes this spot perfect for more than just family outings. The atmosphere is super cute--dinosaurs everywhere, including an animatronic velociraptor hanging from the ceiling that had my nephew completely mesmerized. Our server (pretty sure his name was Devin) was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and made us feel totally taken care of. The restaurant itself as well as the bathrooms were immaculately clean. We will absolutely be back--and I'm already planning to bring my hubby here for a fun dinner date night so I can try some of the other dishes. Great food, cool atmosphere, and drinks? Yes please!

Yelp
Speaking of "hidden gems & unexpected positive experiences" after visiting Butterfly Wonderland we decided to wander around the complex in search of lunch. Perfect Day for outdoor seating! Family Friendly setting. Courteous staff. Great Menu at very reasonable prices. Adults! Skip the fries with your pita and get the side salad instead. So Fresh. Generous portions. Dressing tasty not heavy. Lovely. The pita was like a cloud, nice little tug with each bite but not heavy or overly chewy. Eat your Kids fries !! The outer coating is crispy & delicious

Yelp

Yelp
A must try if you're going to the Arizona boardwalk. The food was so fresh and delicious , get the chicken Souvlaki, ate it so fast forgot to get a photo. My husband had the fish and chips, it was served with 2 big pieces of cod, fries and a greek salad, he gave the salad to me and it was delicious. We ordered the fish-and-chips because our server, recommended getting it AND Fridays they have a Fish Fry Friday 10% off! Drink Specials were amazing, try the "wide awake raptor"! (Fun twist on an espresso martini) Our server, Doug was friendly, fast and efficient. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and happy and seemed to really enjoy their job. Super fun atmosphere with dinosaurs everywhere! Highly recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
thank you to Devine for making us feel at home; kids love the pizza and the dinosaur decorations all over the restaurant esp the one moving with lights all over its body.

Yelp
Lunch was great, good variety of food and nice waiter. the cool T. rex decorations were definitely a cool sight to see and each kids meal also came a Dino toy, really glad I came here it was worth it PS. I dropped my Dino down an elevator shaft haha :)

Yelp
I stopped by here last week with a party of 9 for lunch. We were at the odyssey aquarium for the morning and wanted somewhere close for lunch that would entertain our younger family members and Pangaea Dinosaur Grill fit the bill. The inside of this place was actually pretty large and as you might expect, dinosaur themed. Beyond that they also had a crazy number of TVs available for the adults as well. For my lunch on this day I decided to go with the grexican burger. The menu described it as Half pound Angus steak burger with pickled jalapeños, pineapple, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, onion, garlic aioli and it came with fried. Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much, especially from a kids themed restaurant like this. However, it actually ended up being quite good. The burger was cooked to a well done but was still juicy and moist. Then the pepper Jack cheese and jalepeno added a little kick and the pineapple some acidity. Where it fell flat for me was the bun. It wasn't toasted that I could tell and so was falling apart and made for a messy eat. This was especially important for me as my daughter had fallen asleep on me and I couldn't bend over my plate. All of the kids meals here ended up coming with a small plastic dinosaur on their plate which I thought was a fun and cheap way to do something for the kids. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again in the future. While it certainly wouldn't be my first pick in restaurants, our kids loved it and the food was better than I expected.

Yelp
We came to this place before visiting the Odyssea Aquarium. I really love places with a theme and was excited to come to this dinosaur restaurant. It was cute with dinosaurs inside (although there was a pterodactyl that looked like it was flying into the wall). The food here, however, was not great. The chicken in the chicken wrap was dry and bland, and the chorizo in the nachos tasted like sloppy Joe meat. I don't think we will be returning.

Yelp
Very nice hostess who seated us quickly and explained there may be a 5 or 10 minute wait on our order to be taken. No big deal, we appreciated the transparency. The food was actually, really, really good. The sweet potato fries were fried perfectly - crisp outside and soft inside. The Greek fries - out of this world. Highly recommend. We enjoyed all of the food. The waitress was friendly and expedient. There aren't a ton of dining options at Arizona Boardwalk but out of the ones available for lunch - this is the one to visit.
google avatar

Rocklee L.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The shrimp was grilled to perfection, and the beer-battered fries were crispy and flavorful. Douglas was the fastest server we've ever had--he's like two servers in one! His service was outstanding, friendly, and attentive. He was also incredibly sweet--he even got an extra dinosaur for the kids' meal, which made their night! With all the entertainment and TVs around the restaurant, the kids had a great time. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My sister wanted to go to OdySea so we made an afternoon of it by going to lunch first. We decided on this restaurant after my in-laws said they had eaten here a few times. It was a great choice. I like how they have so much outdoor seating. We were greeted immediately when we reached the front of the restaurant. And of course we decided on the outdoor seating. Then we got our menus, and our server took our drink order. That came out pretty quick and we ordered our lunch. My sister and I each ordered the Fish and Chips, I crave that stuff at times! My Wife ordered a simple burger and side salad. I did not time how long it took to get our order, but it seemed like less than 10 minutes. It was FAST! And kudos to our server, he was great! The Fish and Chips were delicious! I would go back here just for that. The pieces were quite large. The Greek salad was great with it as well. I'd say I would try something different next time, but I wouldn't be telling the truth, I would order the Fish and Chips again.

Yelp
Went here while at a boardwalk event. The waiter was kind and attentive. The food was average. Not nasty but not amazing. We got the Sonoran dog, elote dog, kids spaghetti meal, and kids mac & cheese meal. Mac & cheese was craft of course, spaghetti had good flavor. Both kids meals came with a tiny dinosaur which my kids loved. The fries served with the meals were good. The Sonoran dog says it comes with avocado but when it was served, it actually had guacamole which is slightly different than just slices of avocado. The elote dog was better than expected and the bread SO SOFT. We also got margaritas which were really yummy. We sat outside so the kids could roam. The seating was nice because there were smaller table options and bigger options, some shaded and some not.

Yelp
We went there a few times while visiting the center. It was very busy the first time we went. We sat outside and the hostess was great with making sure we get service. If the hostess did not help, then we would have had to wait a long time for the servers to come out because they didn't go outside much. We sat inside the second time around and service was great. The gyro and fries were great. The pita breads are so soft and so good! The chocolate surprise dessert was also very good.

Yelp
Quick lunch spot for Dino-loving kids After a few hours spent downstairs at Pangaea land of the Dinos, why not continue the fun by having lunch with the dinos! You won't get a gourmet meal or a craft cocktail, but it's quick and simple if you're eating with kids. Service is quick and there's a decent sized menu and variety. It seems as though the Pita options are popular as I saw many served. The kids menu was simple and my kids chose to share Dino nuggies with fries and Mac & cheese with veggies. I did get a margarita, even though I knew it would be a pre-mixed one... and was disappointed as expected. Although it wasn't the best I've ever had, my Sonoran Hot Dog hit the spot. Not to mention that they have three different options. This wouldn't be a place that I would go out of my way to eat at, but it was a fun themed addition to our Dino day. Instagram: @msbusyblonde

Yelp
The food we ordered was so yummy! We weren't expecting much as it seemed like a tourist attraction, but we were wrong! Great pizza and wraps! Service was very meh. She was very sweet but we were close to the only people in there and there was a long wait from sitting to ordering and so had to put food and drinks in at the same time. No biggie but because it was so slow with so much staff seemed odd. Anyways overall a great experience!

Michelle V.

Yelp
Customer service and food were both great. My 7 yo daughter loved the dinosaur toy that came with the kids meal.

Nick W.

Yelp
We visit Odyssea and Butterfly Wonderland fairly often, and have eaten here several times. In the past (the past... not now) food has come back wrong, or portions were unexpectedly small, and service was at times lacking, and food came out slow. We went here again with the expectation that it would be business as usual. We like the dinosaurs, and especially a pterosaur holding onto a baby, stork style. Kids like it, therefore, I do. This visit we were warmly greeted and the server established a rapport with my kids right away. The server took our order and the food was great. Portions were generous, and all of our minor requests had been fulfilled. Since the last visit, there is a new owner, who happened to welcome us inside. I left a rather generous tip, and this restaurant has really turned around, and I look forward to visiting again.

Yelp
We are here today after visiting the OdySea Aquarium. We showed up at 6:40pm and asked if we could still dine since we were a party of 6 and it was close to them closing. The lady said absolutely and was the sweetest most friendly server ever! The food was absolutely delicious and was large portions so no one left hungry. The waitress was also so sweet and was able to catch one of the chefs and got my mom some sweet potato fries. The restaurant was super fun with dinos everywhere and tvs playing all sorts of cartoons (we were all adults and loved the cartoons) the bathrooms were super clean and gorgeous, they have a rock sink that glows.. just gorgeous! I love this place and will absolutely go back. Thank you soooo much!!

Sylvester H.

Yelp
Very happy with my visit. We had pizza and nachos. The decor at the back of the restaurant was more upscale than I had expected, as a lot of the stuff in this area caters to families with younger children.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was ok and food mediocre. Chose this based on location proximity to our daily activities.

Yelp
Although the stars were low, we opted to give this place a try. STARS DON'T LIE! Brought my dad for a little fair they were having and we wanted lunch. This place is so unorganized! Yes it's a Saturday and busy, but they need to get it together!! Well if 0 was a option that's where I would be on this place. The food was actually decent, but the service killed this place. Server was nice, she took our order then she vanished off the face of the earth! Took 40+ min for our food, missing items but she never checked on us to tell her. We finished our food, never got refills and still never saw our server. I had to flag down another server to get our check. Over hour and half for basic lunch -- hard pass next time. Frustrated to say the least...

jose g.

Yelp
Food was good but we were expecting interaction with the dinosaurs that they say they have and that I've watched videos about. That was the inly disappointment of this visit. Service was great and the Ladies working here are very nice.

Yelp
Closed at 4:45pm on Sunday with staff sitting around inside and doors locked when the advertised hours are open until 6pm Poor business practice for a busy place is it's hungry kids.

Erin T.

Yelp
We love Pangea grill. Our kids love this place and so do we. The food is outstanding and they are under new ownership. Lynnea is the owner and she is kind and welcomjng. Also they show Bob Ross which is so cool for our kids to help with their creativity. Such a great family restaurant. Thanks Pangea Grill!
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
This place was way overpriced. A Mediterranean/Greek restaurant with a new Mexican menu. Food was average. Did love the fries though... crispy and double fried. My favorite! The toy that the kids get is a tiny egg with an even smaller dinosaur. I mean yes it's cool that they have "moving" dinosaurs hanging from the ceiling. ...For the kids enjoyment. Again touristy place so I get why they up charge... but man this isn't Disney land. They offer and 15% off but even then not worth it in my opinion. My advice save your money eat before you go or after.

Jorge P.

Yelp
This restaurant is second to none. The ambiance is on point, perfect music, extremely clean and the dinosaurs are legit. Service was incredible, Lynnea recommend the Beef Souvlaki with Greek salad and fries and everything was amazing, hats off to the chef! If you are ever in the area and are looking for a great meal, make sure to stop by and you will be back for sure!

Yelp
I haven't been here in 4 years. We were taking a break from the butterflies as my oldest lost it once one landed on me. Scary butterflies but oh such cool dinosaurs. Go figure. Heehee. A gentleman was walking around passing out menus for The Pangaea Grill. Right now save your $5.00 Yelp check in discount as they are offering 20% off meals. I let him know we were celiac and he informed me they had gluten free salads, burgers with gluten free buns, and gluten free pizza! Perfect! Just in time for lunch! Gluten free food and dinosaurs? It was a no brainer! The elevator wasn't working so you might want to call ahead to see if it is working if you need one to get to the second floor. Such a cool set up with moving dinosaurs. Our girls were stoked. A gentleman came out to seat us. We have not eaten inside a restaurant since before the pandemic started. It was a cringe moment for me. I asked him if they really clean the seats and tables between customers. He picked a table for us and wiped everything down just to be safe. (I care for my mom with COPD and heart disease so I am extra careful.) That was so thoughtful and I didn't even ask him to. Hayley was our waitress. I could tell she was new, but she was so thoughtful answering any questions. Awesome customer service! My salad was huge, satisfying and I had a little bit of everything in every bite! Yum! They only offered the gluten free pizza in a full size so I ordered that for the girls to share. They were doing the happy dance the whole time. They each received little colorful rubbery dinosaur toys that were so cute. I almost forgot about them until the girls reminded me. Perfect end to our early dinner. Everyone working was masked and they had hand sanitizer at the counter. The bathroom wasn't bad. It had potty protectors and a no touch paper towel dispenser which I appreciate. The menus were throw away printed on paper. We had a great meal and a good time. And remember 20% off. You can call ahead to confirm how long that offer is for.

Kristen M.

Yelp
Daughter disabled accidentally sat at an outside table in their area of many tables. She could not get up and move til I returned to help her. She said chop chop, get up, you sat down, you can get up. My daughter uses a walker and had 2 kids waiting with her. Absolutely terrible manager who stated she was the owner too. Not smart enough to be a manager. Her bad she sat in the wrong area of many tables used by 2 restaurants. Respect the disabled! What a shame. I would love to speak to the true owner. I will be doing a review on every site possible.

Marii B.

Yelp
I called and left messages for a call back and no one ever called me. We were over charged when there we got two kids meals and 3 fountain drinks with nachos and queso. Somehow, after a 20% tip it ended up being over $60 they never gave us a receipt and we waited 15 minutes watching the servers chat with eachother before another server brought us our tab. We should have paid more attention but we just paid and left due to our impatient toddler. It should have been way less even with tip so I don't know if we paid for someone else's tab or what but the math didn't add up.

Yelp
We popped in here on a Saturday evening after visiting the aquarium and had friendly service and a tasty meal! My husband and I both ordered pita entrees with Greek salad and they were fresh and tasty. The Greek dressing was a little creamy for my liking, I'm more of a vinaigrette gal but it still tasted good! Our 3 year old scarfed his entire kid's meal cheeseburger, so that was a hit too. :) We also enjoyed some local beers with our meal - they have my fav, orange blossom! Prices are a little high but I guess that's what you expect at an attraction restaurant. We would come back on a future visit to this entertainment district!

Yelp
The atmosphere was fun, the hostess was very friendly and good with kids! My kids loved all the TVs with kids shows and the food was good! Overall a fun place to go with kids!

Yelp
After spending some time at the Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs, family and I rounded out the day with lunch here. The sister location at Arrowhead Towne Center sadly closed and my kids were anxious to enjoy their meals at one of their favorite places again. Our server was nice but mostly absent during the time we were there. Food came out fast and was all delicious. I now have a greater appreciation of the now closed sister location at Arrowhead as the quality of the food was so identical. If we are ever back in this area, we will return here for a meal. If there is someone in management of the company reading this, please think about bringing back the restaurant at Arrowhead!

Yelp
At first it looks intimidating thinking their will be a wait but we had found one of the picnic tables so no wait. We got nachos for appetizer with extra cheese and our meals party of 5. Nachos came no extra cheese their normal serving did not have enough food other than a lot of chips. We got our food within 5 minutes for me was a bit disappointing in order appetizers so I have a bit of time before food. We got our main food and than got our extra cheese which was a bit pointless by the time it came my son ate most of the chips. Food was delicious I got the pita Philly which was very delicious the fries also were good. The rest of my party enjoyed their food as well. No napkins no extra silverware we had to ask and wait my meal didn't need silverware I got the frozen strawberry margarita and boy was it strong. I should have asked if the mix the strawberry as it was mainly tequila and just a general margarita with a swirls of strawberry if I knew this I would not have ordered. But again typically when I get strawberry margarita im tasting the strawberry. Another downside is the server rarely showed so we had to find staff in order to get anything. Overall food is decent does take awhile to get check when done. I won't say I won't come again when going to OdySea but I may have to be more direct on getting what I need ahead of time so I'm not waiting. And maybe not asking for extras as they may not hand it over when u need it. Before I forget drinks come in bottles but they give u a cup for ur soda to pour from the bottle. And most of the customers are family due to this being next to OdySea

Yelp
Pangea's Dinosaur Grill is a good option for a quick bite to eat as you are exploring the aquarium, butterfly exhibit, or anything else this magical place has to offer. A group of us took my near two year-old son to the aquarium for his first time, after almost 2 hours of exploring, we all grew hungry, especially the toddler, and we were looking for a quick bite to eat. We were in a rush, because we needed to get back home to put him down for a nap so when we arrived around 11 AM, on a Sunday, the place was empty, it looked as though it had just opened. They were very friendly welcoming us in and told us to pick wherever we wanted to sit. They were very accommodating to my two year old. It's a perfect place for a toddler. They have a great kids menu. I ordered my son a hamburger and fries and he ordered himself a chocolate milk. I got the chicken wrap which was delicious and a generous portion with a Greek salad. That was also delicious although a little heavy on the dressing for my taste. My husband ordered the burger and fries as well yet his came out a little bit more rare than he would prefer. He didn't say anything because we were rushed so he just kind of ate it. The fries taste exactly like Burger King fries. I mean, exactly. Also a generous portion. My in-laws split the California pita and that was a very big portion as well. Somehow we got 15% off which I was happy about since I picked up the tab. Altogether including tip it was about $70 which isn't too bad. We had to leave early so we got some boxes and were on our way probably in and out in less than a half hour. Overall, if ever in the area, I would go here again. The menu offered a lot more than I would've expected. You can get pizza, lots of Mediterranean options, which I loved, and also, your casual, American fare.

Yelp
The food was okay, nothing amazing or very delicious I would say. Typical for a sit down at an attraction type place. The huge plus was that there was something for everyone which was helpful for a group of 11 with various meal preferences. Service was a little slow but nothing terrible. The kids nuggets came out a bit after everyone else's meal and they looked overdone/fried. Falafel pita was okay, but could have used more of the sauce since it ate a little dry - should come with a side of sauce/spread to help with that. Greek salad on the side was a bit over dressed. Clean restaurant and bathrooms were in good shape.

Yelp
New ownership! It's surprisingly great food and great prices! Large portions and good service, fun for the kids what more can you ask for!

Yelp
Pretty good food. I like how it's Greek/American food. The mozzarella sticks were good. They seated us quick and our food came quick as well. I got the Pangaea wrap. It was good but didn't really like the balsamic sauce. I upgraded to Greek fries. It's $1 more. They don't put it on all the fries just some. It's good. Didn't taste anything really different. First time having Greek fries so not sure how they should taste lol. My sister got the California wrap it was good. Tasted like a club sandwich. My brother got the Aegean club. It was good. There's a patio to sit outside with misters. The restaurant is upstairs, they have an elevator and escalator as well. Lots of kids here. I like the vibe. Lots of tvs inside and dinosaurs hanging. Check in on yelp to get $5 off. Maybe you can find a Groupon as well.

Yelp
Son's pizza was hot. Fries were good. My hotdog was very cold and the "hot cheese" or whatever it was was very cold. Not recommended

Yelp
Pangea Dinosaur Grill is amazing!!! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and quickly given drinks. I ordered a burger and my other family members ordered Sonoran dogs. My burger was perfectly cooked and delicious. The Sonoran dogs were also amazing. We will definitely be back!!! You should try them.

Yelp
This is a 3-1/2 stars review. Where we sat was near the bathroom and we are not really 6ft social distancing. Their tables are not spaced far apart enough. Staff there was super awesome. They seems short staffed so service was a little slow, we had to wave staff down, and we had to go to the front to order more drinks. It was fun and cool place. The Mozzarella Cheese Fries were good, we all shared. I got the Philly Jurassic Pita with chicken and it was good, the fries were fire (crispy, crunchy, and fresh). Everyone else was chowing down their food and liked it.

Yelp
My daughter loved the animated dinosaurs at lunch. It's exactly what you would expect. The food was just fine. I will say that I would be annoyed if I were a sports fan as all the TVs had sports on but they were all colored BLUE!

Yelp
Pangaea Dinosaur Grill was a lot of fun because of the ambiance. We drove all the way to Phoenix (approximately 2 hours away) per our daughters request, for her birthday. Overall, the decorations were really cool. Dinosaurs "soaring" overhead... they were mechanical, so they would open and close there mouths, arms, legs, wiggle there bodies, or tails, etc. They were life like, but not overly realistic. They had bones/fossils displayed on the walls. Our waiter was extremely friendly, and he was good, but not exactly attentive. It was a little busy, so perhaps this was why, however it was hard to get his attention. I was happy though, that when the kids sprite came back as soda water, he didn't just eliminate the option, like many other places do. He actually had the issue remedied, and brought back some nice tasting sprite for them, leaving them content with there desired drinks. The food was good, kids ate everything up, as did the husband... my gyros were extremely messy, but tasted pretty good too. I would come here again, for the experience, but I don't think it would be my go-to place, even if we lived a lot closer. I also forgot to mention it was my daughters birthday, so I have no idea if they even do anything special for that, and they didn't ask either.
