"Though no one goes to a Caribbean island specifically for Indian food, you actually could in the case of Grand Cayman's Pani. Even for people who’ve spent serious time in India, this Camana Bay restaurant is that good. You can’t go wrong with any section of the menu, but the chaat offerings—basically, savory street food—are standouts; try the crispy puri (small, round breads that get deep-fried and filled with potato, onion, chickpeas, cilantro chutney, and spiced water or yogurt). Or just go for the whole chaat platter, where you’ll also find puffed rice, sev (crunchy chickpea noodles), and various veggies and chutneys."

Review for Pani, Camana Bay – Authentic Flavours and Exceptional Hospitality Our recent visit to Pani at Camana Bay was an absolute delight. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambience, complemented by elegant décor and soothing Bollywood instrumental music playing softly in the background — creating a perfect blend of comfort and cultural charm. We began with the Tomato Soup and Dhai Puri, both wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. The soup was smooth and flavourful, while the Dhai Puri delivered a delightful balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy elements. We also enjoyed crispy Papad, a perfect light accompaniment. For the main course, we had the Paneer Biryani, which was aromatic and well-prepared with tender pieces of paneer and perfectly cooked rice. Do note, for those accustomed to traditional Indian spice levels, the medium variant may feel mild — it’s worth requesting a spicier version to suit the Indian palate. A special mention to JayaPrakash (JP) for his excellent service throughout. He was attentive, polite, and ensured that our dining experience was comfortable and memorable. His professionalism and warm hospitality truly enhanced our visit. As this was our first time dining at Pani, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary pudding, a thoughtful and delicious gesture to end the meal. Overall, Pani combines authentic Indian flavours, refined ambience, and outstanding service. A highly recommended dining experience for anyone seeking quality Indian cuisine in the Cayman Islands.

Went there for dinner. Food was actually pretty good. We had the daal makhani, mattar paneer, bunch of naans, samosa chaat. They make fresh naan in a tandoor. Ambience is nice. Our server was in some mood. Literally delivered everything as if he was doing a drive by. No personality. He presents the check to us without offering dessert. When we do order dessert, he delivers the mango cheesecake with just 2 spoons. There's four of us at the table. WTH.

Being on the island since a few years, it is disappointing to see how the staff behaves to the customers. The server didn’t even have the courtesy to listen to the full order, and started walking off, gave back rude responses. If 4 people are dining, atleast 4 sets of cutlery should be there on the table. I am not sure why they aren’t trained for hospitality business. This is a repeat behavior seen at the restaurant since a few times we have dined here.

The interior of the restaurant is amazing. The decor in combination of the music makes you feel like you left Cayman Islands and you are eating to a proper restaurant in India. Bravo on that. The menus options are great. I believe this place is more like a share dishes place as you get to try a lot of different options and the portions are suitable for this. This was a recommendation from friends that are Indians and I can say I really enjoyed it. When we visited the place was completely empty which made me a bit skeptic, but once I tried the dishes I was very impressed with the quality and the flavours. I wish more people will visit it. Worth trying it.

Beautiful interior & exterior design of the restaurant. Sweet / subtle ambiance, allowed us to wind down while having dinner. The samosa chaat was excellent. Paneer tikka masala was good. Garlic naan was slightly oily to our liking. The papadum / chutney offered as an starter could definitely show Improvement in their chutney selection, perhaps an green chutney + tamarind chutney combo. Overpriced. But that’s the island 🏝️

Best Indian food in Cayman hands down. Amazing ambiance, food and music. Location is cherry on the top! Panner was fresh and so was rice. You can tell freshness based on softness and flavor. Must visit if you are looking for Indian or vegetarian food in CI.

Surpassed expectations. Very generous portions. All the flavours were bold and complex, and the highlight was the rogan josh. Highly recommend.

I had multiple meals at the restaurant, and was overall pleased with the variety and quality of food. Not everything was authentic (the chaat options were a huge disappointment), but a good place to eat at Camana Bay, and the staff are really nice!
