Paniq Escape Room and Lounge Prepares to Open at the Grand Canal Shoppes - Eater Vegas

"Nearly two years in the making, the Paniq Escape Room and Lounge debuts later this month at the Grand Canal Shoppes, featuring seven interactive game spaces and a bar and lounge serving themed cocktails. Located on the third floor of the Venetian next to Spiegelworld’s Atomic Saloon Show on the mezzanine level, players have just 45 minutes to solve clues in the Steampunk, Haunted Manor, or Wizard Trial escape room environments. Future experiences at Paniq Escape Room will also include the opportunity to break into the Venetian casino’s bank vault. Cocktails have been designed to complement the games, and patrons are encouraged to use the lounge and then exit through a red door to begin playing their escape room game. Among the drinks selection are themed cocktails like the Time Traveler, the Safecracker, and the PanIQ Attack, along with a mochatini, cherry negroni, and the Venetian Spritz. Original plans to offer a small food menu have been dropped. Tickets are $39 per person or $44 for private entry. Open daily, 3 p.m.to 9 p.m. Bar and lounge open weekdays, 10 a.m. to 12 a.m., and until 2 a.m. on weekends." - Bradley Martin

The Palazzo’s PanIQ Escape Rooms feature food and drink | Eater Vegas

"Opening on the Las Vegas Strip in 2020 as the flagship event space for a growing national franchise, this super-sized escape-room facility is designed to host corporate buyouts, team-building sessions and bachelor/bachelorette parties. It will offer six immersive, 60- to 75-minute themed game environments — including Steampunk, Zombie Barn and Atlantis — and the founder expects to welcome at least 60,000 guests annually. The lobby is planned to include a European-style bar, quick food options and a coffee shop, and guests can reportedly walk up and play without reservations. An initial $450,000 has been allocated for the core build, and it has not been confirmed whether non-participating visitors will have access to the bar and coffee shop." - Bradley Martin

We came here for my best friend’s proposal on September 30th and I cannot say enough good things about this venue and our host. From the very first phone call to the actual day of the proposal, she went above and beyond to make everything perfect. She even stayed overtime after she was scheduled off just so she could personally be there, that’s how dedicated she was. The place overall is such a vibe and they were very accommodating. It’s such a unique and beautiful spot to celebrate any occasion. Pur wonderful host helped us plan every detail, walked us through the setup, showed us the camera angles so we knew exactly what to expect, and made sure everything went smoothly. After the proposal, she gave us the entire lounge area to ourselves to celebrate, which made the moment even more special. There was also one bartender working the entire time for our group of about 15–16 people, and she crushed it! The drinks were great quality, came out fast, and she was so friendly that we loved hanging out with her during the celebration. If you’re ever planning something special or just want an awesome escape room experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We booked an escape room with PanIQ for the first night we arrived in Vegas as a fun team building exercise. Unfortunately our flight was delayed causing us to not get to the hotel until an hour after we expected to. We were cutting it short to make it to our reservation- I had called and they said we had a grace period. Half of our team found the location and the other 4 of us were lost in the canals. The staff was super friendly and offered to bump our reservation back to the next time they had open. That worked out perfectly for us. We were able to get a drink before going up to the escape room. We chose the morning after theme and it was really fun. We finished with 12 minutes on the clock. We really enjoyed the experience. This was my first escape room as well as a few others. I would definitely do another one.

Google
It was super fun! We originally booked the zombie escape room, but when we saw it was darker than the photos, they let us switch to the casino heist. When we ran into a lot of issues in the casino room, they gave us a free wizard game on the house!! Everyone was super accommodating and friendly. It was amazing!!

Google
My fiance an I were looking for something different to do and this was soo fun!! We absolutely loved it amd the team from start to finish was great! Cody, Mya, Justin, and Ethan thank you guys for making it great for us! Definitely will come back to try some of the other rooms!! Themes are on point!!

Google
I’m having a great time here trying all the rooms they have to offer! Came here alone and they’re able to accommodate me well; signed up for a public room with strangers but nobody else joined for it so I was able to do the Atlantis, Morning After (that’s the same story but different props from Casino Heist) and about to do Zombie room. Game host is able to physically assist with the puzzles that require multiple sets of hands. Difficulty is probably on the slightly lower side, but theming and execution is very well done; perfect length of puzzle for a 45 minute time limit. Cody, Mya, Des and Gaby all were extremely friendly and helpful in guiding me to a great experience. Will love to come back next time I’m in town if they change up any of the rooms to ones I haven’t done yet!

Google
Alex and Ethan at Paniq were great. What a great time! The lounge lead to such a unique escape room experience. The rooms were 45 minutes which was different but it made the room seem more intense with less than an hour to complete. The zombie room had incredible props and some difficult puzzles.

Jacqueline Shaprow

Google
You get your own table for a birthday celebration and they decorate it for you, so you don’t even need to bring any decorations. The mocktails were decorative. Kids had fun at the escape room.

Google
We love a good escape room and take every opportunity to find one when there is more than two of us! Our daughter was visiting so of course it's one of the first things we thought of doing! PanIQ did not disappoint! First things first, it was a bit confusing to find! The Love sign is out for repairs but we figured out where it was supposed to be and up we went. We had no idea to take the escalator up at the ATOMIC, that was the major confusing part! We had plenty of time though and were looking forward to a cocktail before the attempted escape. Sadly the bar was closed. The escape room was well done, easy enough to be solvable but difficult enough to present some challenges. Not all equipment works properly though so be prepared to hit that hint button and let them know! All in all a great time was had and we'll be back for another room!

Yelp
These escape rooms are pretty fun. I did feel like the one we did - the Magician one, was harder. Particularly there was one piece where you had to move it around physically and we couldn't do it, so they stopped the clock and came in and helped us. I did feel like the staff was really nice and helpful overall. I think having only 45 minutes to do an escape room is unusual - most places I've been to have given you an hour. But it was good there was a clock telling you how much time you had left. We didn't have drinks at the bar but it looked like a fun hangout and it was supremely decorated for Halloween in a fun way!

Yelp
PanIQ Escape Room & Lounge is located near The Shoppes at The Palazzo and The Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes, on the third floor next to Atomic Saloon Show. They offer a total of seven escape games including The Time Machine, Atlantis Riding, The Haunted Manor, Wizard Trials, Zombie Outbreak, Casino Heist, and The Morning After. Pricing depends on the day. From Tuesday to Thursday is $37, and Monday, Friday to Sunday is $42. If requesting for a private escape room, the price is slightly higher and you're paying for exclusivity. They do offer 15% off for local discount with proof of valid ID. Each game is approximately 45 minutes and there's a waiver to sign. The most popular and easiest game is Casino Heist and Zombie Outbreak. Atlantis Riding is a difficult game and is more challenging, but it's also a nice immersive experience and has great aesthetics! After the game, there's a cozy lounge to hangout. Service from Milo is outstanding! He's super helpful, courteous, accommodating, and friendly!

Yelp
This bartender is amazing!!!! She made us fantastic mocha espresso martinis and my friend a pistachio drink that was literally dessert in a drink! She is so friendly and kind! The escape rooms are amazing as well! Go Tiana!

Yelp
"The only true wisdom is in knowing nothing." Socrates Can you escape? Do you have the wisdom to solve a puzzle? Do you like a good mystery? Can you work together? Forget all you know, and step into the unknown. Let's take a moment and think about how the clues fall. Are you going to escape, perhaps panic. Try and follow the clues that are given to escape the darkness and the door opens that you walked into. Are you looking for a great time? If your up to the challenge meet up for an epic time in a panic room. Many clues exist that will guide your progress. When you think of a "panic room," in these particular times it's a place to go and hide. The movie "Panic," with Jodie Foster comes to mind. It's not so much about the panic as to solve a puzzle and make it out in a required amount of time. You have different expectations and rules to follow in order to achieve a goal. There is something here for everyone too. Are you looking to get scared? Perhaps test your fear level then try the Haunted Manor or Zombie Apocalypse game. It's the morning after and you should remember follow the game to find out what really happened. Do you want to rob a bank or perhaps see what a want heist would appear like, they offer something just for you and a small group of friends. The rooms and different challenges that they offer are all intended to be fun and never put anyone in danger. If you get anxious you can call it all off at any time. It's fun for all age groups from old to young. It's much more enjoyable to share a game challenge with a group of those that you know, but they offer rooms with complete strangers too. You choose. It's a little more to arrange a private game, but it's all about the fun and memories that you are making together. While you want to arrive a little in advance for your game for set up you can snack on food in the lobby. They do not offer a lot of snack options, but your welcome to bring out side food and snacks to eat while your awaiting your time slot. The staff is very kind and will be watching all throughout the game experience. It's up to you now? Are you up to the upcoming challenge?

Yelp
Ethan have 5 star service to us and we will be coming back soon! Our experience began on time. Drinks were delicious. Thoroughly entertaining.

Yelp
Had a fantastic time in the Morning After room. Amazing drinks too! Highly recommend. When we finished our first room, we immediately booked a second room.

Yelp
The worst experience you get! Rude staff (arianna). Reserved a room on their website but needed to cxl. There's nowhere to do that on their site. When called to ask her to cancel and refund me she told me that the sales are final and it says so on the confirmation email. How am i suppose to know that before my purchase? I guess ill take it with my credit card dispute dept.

Yelp
PanIQ was fun! Really cool theme, immersive fun. We played the casino best which was appropriate for the theme. We got help from Cody, Mya, Ileana, Che, Devin, and Vanessa. Awesome crew!

Julie F.

Yelp
Loved the bar upfront! Ethan was a great host. He was very kind and welcoming and our group enjoyed talking with him afterwards about how the puzzles worked.

Yelp
Nick and Ileanna are amazing!!! Love this place! They have Jell-O shots and beautiful smiles

Yelp
Mood: Late night Fun Omg. First time in a Panic room and it was such a good fun time. We had 6 people in our group and picked the "Time Machine" room. Which happened to be their hardest room. We still was excited and wanted to do it. The room was about 45mins long with unlimited hints. Our room guide person was cool and quirky to help explain a few things before getting started. I liked how they had a lounge where you can play table games, drink and chat before or after your escape room experience. Overall the experience was really fun. Good drinks with cool cups to take into the room along with out after you finish. I recommend a group of at least 4 or more to get lots of details and experience. 10/10!

Amy N.

Yelp
It was my first time ever doing an escape game. SO MUCH FUN!!! Did a night game at 9pm and Midas from night shift was awesome. I recommend these escape rooms if you want to mix up your Vegas trip
google avatar

Shana G.

Yelp
Fun! Fun! Fun! We struggled a little but made it out!! The hints were helpful and Ethan was great! The technology behind some things were great.

Tara M.

Yelp
So disappointing. First time doing an escape room and the knob on the TV was broken so we couldn't solve the puzzle. No extra time, no help and no refund. No thank you PAN IQ!

Yelp
I took my 8 year old son here on a mommy/son date and we had an AMAZING time! We chose the bank heist on easy difficulty. I was afraid it would be too easy but it was just perfect. We finished just in the nick of time. The story was fun and the escape room was well made. Before and after our game we were able to hang out in the trendy lobby/bar area. They had games on every table. We chose to play Battleship. We enjoyed our game while sipping on their delicious flavored lemonade in a souvenier cup. The drinks were really affordable too especially for a place located on the Las Vegas strip where everything is usually overpriced. In summary. Great place, great games. We will be back!

Jazman F.

Yelp
Our first experience omg we had so much fun. First let me tell you make sure you are there early because it is a huge place and if I didn't call I don't think we would have ever found it on time. When I called I spoke to Cole. He was our lifesaver he literally went above and beyond to make sure we made it to our destination. He has the best personality, patience, and hospitality. Everyone in there made all 7 of my group feel welcome. Now I do not like public restrooms because they are always dirty but in PanIQ very clean so that's a bonus for me. Finally we met Minus (I believe I'm saying that right) he introduced us to the game he was also amazing with great energy. He explain everything and answered every question. Overall our experience we awesome and we will be back.

Chanchal W.

Yelp
Ethan was so wonderful!! He went above and beyond to make sure our group had a great time. A very friendly person and extremely knowledgeable. The escape room itself was so much fun too! We will always visit when we are in Vegas! Definitely letting our local Vegas friends know about this hidden gem too! Really clever escape room :)
google avatar

Ann P.

Yelp
Had a great time in Zombie Outbreak! Great room, medium level, unlimited hints that were truly just hints. We were just two players and luckily got added to a group of four. (You can request a private room, also.) Worked out wonderfully and had a great time. Everyone worked together and we escaped. Doubt we could have done it with just two people. I know it says the room is scary but it really wasn't. The lighting was bright and the Zombie theme barely plays into the puzzles, it's just the theme of the room. Highly recommend. We'll go again!
google avatar

Yelp
We visited PanIQ twice during our trip to Vegas. The lobby area has cute seating with board games while you waited and a bar to order drinks. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and remembered us on our 2nd visit. We did the Haunted Manor the first time and solved it, but we did feel it wasn't super challenging. We got a rainy day on our trip so returned to try Atlantis. We really enjoyed the Atlantis room and thought the level of difficulty and details were much better compared to the Haunted Manor. We solved it with a minute left to spare! Overall 4 stars, we really enjoyed it and the option to have a private room for our family. We were looking at another escape room nearby that looked like a higher quality setting but we didn't want to have a shared experience with others.
google avatar

Hannah M.

Yelp
Way better experience our second time. We picked "Wizard Trials", and it was a really fun choice. The room is well-themed, and if you're searching to be "wowed" by effects and surprise rooms, PanIQ delivers in those areas. The puzzles in WT aren't standard for escape rooms, but still fun. Some of them definitely gave us a headache. None were broken or glitched, and it required every single person to use their brains to think of solutions. We only had to use 3 or 4 hints total in 45 minutes. We got out with 40 seconds to spare! Kit was a really great host, and I believe our game host was Minmin. We even got to snap a photo in the room after. We didn't use their bar or lounge area, but the bathroom was clean and our group had a good time with the Where's Waldo graphic on the wall during the wait. Thank you to Vanessa for reaching out to me to ensure we got a chance to enjoy our time at PanIQ. The host at the check in stand (I forgot his name, sadly) was extremely helpful. I booked the wrong date/time and he helped me sort it out without any hassle at all. He made suggestions for us and made the process a positive one.

Yelp
The best experience ever! a not to miss while in Vegas. Staff is extremely nice and you have a lot of fun.

Cain M.

Yelp
Midas, min, and gabby were great!! Escape room was awesome. Midas is the man. Escape room was really cool we did Atlantis my person first time

Sony

Yelp
Quality of the props were great. However, my group (4 people) felt that the tasks/puzzles were too easy. We finished one with 20 minutes left and another with abput 15 minutes left. The business isn't obligated but after going there and playing about 3 games (1 the night before) it would have been cool to get a discount or something on another game. Or even a souvenir (stickera, pins, whatever haha). It was cool though.
google avatar

Ame V.

Yelp
SO much fun!!! Great way to spend a couple of hours in Vegas. Worth trying if you've never done it!
google avatar

Peter L.

Yelp
45 minutes is too short. 1 hour should be the norm for any escape room. Drinks are strong. Watch your head, we hurt ourselves rushing through the maze in the wizarding trials . The staff were amazing.
google avatar

Krystal N.

Yelp
I'd highly recommend this place! I came here on a whim with my family and everyone here is so kind. The drinks are GOOD! The lounge is super cute, especially their cage table. The zombie room was harder than I expected, we ended up using a lot of hints but it's unlimited! Cole, Devin, Rae, Ling, Min, and Kit did a great job hosting us. Fun time, definitely gets your blood pumping, especially with a drink in hand in the room!

John C.

Yelp
Very well organized at the front of house. Had a very frustrating experience in the Time Machine game. I have played and lost a lot of escape rooms, but that was the only one I felt like walking out of half way through. One game in particular was very obnoxious and unnecessary frustrating. They were nice enough to comp our drinks because we had a bad time.
google avatar

Shane F.

Yelp
This was my first Escape Room experience and I had a blast! It was a team building outing for my work team of 6. We did the Casino Heist and completed it with 10 mins to spare. I like the hint system they have in the room where if you're having trouble you can press hint on the interface screen in the room and they will throw up a hint (but not totally give it away). There's always already an initial clue so if that's not enough it's like getting one more clue that might tell you what you're supposed to be focusing on about the clue. The only issue I had was sometimes it was hard to hear the voice on the speakers giving the clue. Other than that, the game was fun, there were multiple puzzles that accommodated multiple people working on it and that made it even more fun working as a team to complete. I can't imagine the experience being much better than this and I already want to do more! The staff was very nice and helpful and the facilities were clean. I definitely recommend PanIQ Escape Room & Lounge Las Vegas!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
The four of us gals did The Morning After Escape Room today. It was so much fun! Listening to the hints and solving the mystery! We had an absolute blast! They have a great sitting area and bar for drinks!
google avatar

Patille L.

Yelp
I came here with a group of my friends for my birthday. Really enjoyed their set up. Although it was kind of hard to find the place the place was really cool. I loved how they also had cocktails. I had never been to an escape room with alcohol so it was a very cool experience. The service was great the escape room started on time and we had a great time.

Kathy V.

Yelp
So much fun with the added feature of cocktails! Everyone one very nice. Afterwards, we were able to sit, enjoy a drink & was able to play a card game in the lounge by the bar.

Corrie C.

Yelp
SO much fun!! Not impossible, but challenging enough that it made it exciting! The staff were very friendly and professional! Reccomend 10 out of 10! Also, the room was decorated beautifully and the special effects were AWESOME!
google avatar

Daniel W.

Yelp
Great experience, but very difficult to find, on the third floor of the Palazzo. We came in for the Atlantis escape room. Given the rent at the Palazzo, to be profitable, they need to use relatively small spaces for the rooms. I was actually quite impressed with how much they crammed in there. The effects were quite good, overall, and the difficulty and room size worked well for our team of two. If I'm in town again I'll be back to check out the other rooms.

Gabriel G.

Yelp
Midas has been awesome, and we're excited for the Escape Room! This place has a nice vibe and friendly people, if we come back to Vegas, this will be a spot on our list!
google avatar

Kristal O.

Yelp
I'm sorry, what? One of the best Espresso Martinis in this unexpected gem in Venetian AND amazing bartenders???? Holy crap I'm in love. Morgan made ALL the difference and being from Austin where espresso martinis flow like water I was SO impressed.
google avatar

Sal S.

Yelp
Fun activity to do with friends, family, or coworkers. The room was put together very nicely! Nice staff and there was a bar there if you wanted to have a drink.
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
The service at the escape room was amazing! All of the workers were so friendly and helpful. We played the Zombie room and the Atlantis and both were a lot of fun. For drinks, I recomend the Wizards Potion! Not too sweet and not too strong that you won't be able to focus. I think his name was Ethan (hopefully) but he was super helpful and great!
google avatar

Jerel H.

Yelp
Haunted Manor was the perfect amount of spooky. Had to use the Hint button a few times. Highly recommend to do with a group. Shout out to game master Alex. You a real one!
google avatar

Jazzlynn W.

Yelp
So. Much. Fun. For a first time escape room experience, our team was bold and chose one of the harder options. The Time Machine escape experience was one of a kind, with just enough clues to keep you going but still difficult enough to really get you thinking. Tommy was fantastic from start to finish, and really added extra character to the experience. I will absolutely be back to experience all the other rooms and try to beat that 27 minute record!
google avatar

Tianda H.

Yelp
The wizard room was super cool and when we got stuck the employees were kind enough to help us out! 11/10 experience
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
We had a great time at the PanIQ escape room located just next to Palazzo between Palazzo and Venetian. It was easy to make a reservation and finding the location was also not too tough (see my photo--it's on the top floor, just have to take 2 escalators from the ground floor to get there, follow the signs). When we arrived, we filled out the consent forms and were greeted promptly by Kit who gave us the run down. Mainly going over rules, how we can request help and then took us into the escape room. I'm not personally that experienced in escape rooms (it was my 2nd time), but my kids have done them many times including harder ones (they claim), so we did Time Machine so they could help me out. Both my kids found it to be reasonably challenging and we did ask for a few hints during it. We ended up getting to the last step and time ran out (probably my fault since I didn't really feel like I was helping out much). My older kid commented that the 45 minute time limit was shorter than other rooms he's been in and thought we would have solved it if we had just a few more minutes left. Overall we were satisfied and it was fun for the kids. ----TL;DR---- PROS: easy to book, find the location and helpful/friendly staff/orientation before starting CONS: shorter time duration than others according to my kids. If you are used to 1 hour, maybe watch the clock more carefully and go as fast as you can. Maybe they could extend it a few minutes if people are close to the end/on the last step (50-///55 min)--they just called it and said we're done. BOTTOM LINE: if you're here with kids and want a fun activity, the Time Machine was a fun escape room--and gets you away from the casino!

Yelp
I've played PanIQ before at another location but this location by far is the best one. We first played Zombie Outbreak as a group of 2 and blasted through it. It's based on The Walking Dead and had a few startling moments. The game itself was fairly easy, but we had a good time nonetheless. After the game one of the hosts said we could do a same-day booking for a discounted price and we jumped at the opportunity. We ended up playing Atlantis Rising with another group and got the best time for the game! Atlantis Rising was harder than Zombie Outbreak but we felt that everyone had something to do for a group total of 6. The puzzles for this did take a bit more time to figure out but we solved it in the end. I also want to comment on the amazing staff they have here: Roy, Cody, Ethan the behind the scenes host, and the two ladies who helped us (hope I got everyone's names right). Everyone was so friendly and we had a great time just talking to them in between games and after as well. Definitely will plan to come back for the amazing staff and quality escape games.
google avatar

Amanda K.

Yelp
So sad to write this as we were so excited to come try this escape room place out. We did the Casino Heist and we were very disappointed. The music was so loud in the room we couldn't hear the voice with instructions, we waited for hints after pushing the HINT button--and lost time. Some of the puzzles didn't work well. I don't want to be specific or give any thing away...but good luck if you do this room--you're gonna need it.

Yelp
We had a great time during our PaniQ Escape Room experience. It was easy booking and we love the theme of our room.

Yelp
The best birthday family event. Brought happiness and excitement to our group. Last night here, needing some hype up and this did it. Please do!

Yelp
Very cool place for a friend and family get together. Staff was on point and friendly. This was our 3rd time at this location and next time we're in town we'll be back for a couple more rooms:) Thanks guys:)

Yelp
Nice place to visit. Did the Zombie experience. The schedules are crowded, so get in quickly :)

Yelp
Having done pretty much all the escape rooms in the area, PanIQ opening up only two weeks ago was a nice treat. Located in the Grand Cannal Shoppes, this hidden Gem is directly next to the Atomic Saloon Show. It is on the top most floor. We arrived a tad early, but gave it gave us time to sign waivers, relax and lucky for us, PanIQ had restrooms on site! We wandered around the lounge a bit taking pictures as we were offered drinks by the staff members. We decided to try Rising Atlantis and though it was my niece's first time at an escape room we decided to just go for it. The room itself was a bit of a challenge and dealt with symbol puzzles most of all. The room itself was heavily decorated and made us feel like we were transported to another area. Our game master was on point helping us out when we got stuck (which we did). It was a pretty hard room with multiple things to do. I was the only veteran escapee while my niece was new. Things to keep in mind when reserving: 1. Private rooms are $44/person vs the public games where you could be paired with another group are $39/person. Luckily we didn't have anyone. 2. They give you 45 mins rather than the regular hour 3. The lounge area is not restricted to 21+ 4. Arrive a little early as it is a little walk from the garage parking The staff was amazing and they are putting the finishing touches on their last rooms which are due to open soon. Hoping to redeem myself next time we visit.
