We were on our way to see a movie at the Regal South Beach which is only a few blocks away from Panizza Bistro. I was craving pizza and the restaurant we'd planned to go on Alton had closed, so we decided to try this place
When we arrived we went inside and asked to see a menu, were both were happy with it and then it turned awkward, as the staff just kind of stood there looking at us, but didn't offer to seat us or show us to a table, prompting me to shrug and say "Um, so we just sit anywhere?". Service was decent after that.
We each ordered a beer and asked for water for the table. I ordered a pizza and my partner a salad. Both of us were happy with our food, but to be honest, we were surprised at how long it took them to prepare it after we placed our order. Neither the pizza or salad were anything complicated, yet it felt like we waited at least 20 minutes or more between the time we ordered until our food was delivered, and I think there was only 1 other table with patrons when we arrived.
Pricing was fair, but I'm not sure I was impressed enough by this place to return, especially with so many other good restaurants in this general area to choose from.
