The 13 Best Restaurants For Chisme Lovers

"Weston's Panna is a bit far from Miami, but it’s worth it for the high-class chisme, like who crashed their Jaguar trying not to be late to first period at Cypress Bay, and whose mom has been sneaking her son into the Midtown Athletic Club without paying the guest fee. And while you're here, you can also eat tequeños, get a coffee, and wash your car, which is the perfect excuse to linger. If someone asks why you've been awkwardly sitting next to them for 30 minutes even though you're not eating, just say it's because you're waiting for your car to be ready, definitely not because you’re deeply invested in their conversation. They also have great lunch specials during the week, but you should prioritize peak chisme time, which is Sunday around 11am." - julia malave, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

Panna Weston - Review - Weston - Miami - The Infatuation

"This Chevron on Weston Road is home to Panna, where you can wash your car, fill up your tank, overhear the local high school chisme, and also get some great Venezuelan, Colombian, and other Latin dishes. They have arepas, tequeños, and pastries for takeout. But you can also sit and eat. Their lunch specials are a great deal—especially the plato latino with picanha and three sides for about $25." - Julia Malavé

A must when you are around. Open 24h. Amazing food and flavors, just like home. Awesome service by all the staff.

Google
Stopped here before taking a long drive. The food is amazing. You can get any essential drink and snacks necessary from the gas station while also ordering the most delicious Spanish food. I will note that it took a while to get part of my order.

Google
So I ate here before and everything is great, however tonight was the first time I order a hotdog. surprisingly the person who made it doesn’t know how to cook something so simple…. Bun was cut it in half so everything in between should be drop but no, the cheese was melted and kinda holding both half also holding the paper… the bun shouldn’t be completely cut it, then you add the ingredients starting with the sausage and everything else on top of it. That you eat cheese and paper :) $8 for a hotdog it’s a little pricey so I guess it should be made properly.

Google
Came around 3 and it was busy outside and inside this location , and immediately from the smell , the looks of the place and the menu, I had to save this place on my favorites . The menu had so much options but the arepas were delicious . For it's own category , this place is definitely a great place to grab a quick and tasty bite.

Google
Let me preference this by saying I’ve been going to this Panna now for about 4 years. I come here every couple of weeks or months when I’m craving my usual order of a Pelua Arepa. I have never cared about the price even when in recent years they raised it. My problem is that now they’ve have significantly cut back on the amount of meat and cheese they provide but keep the raised prices. I ordered 2 arepas for my girlfriend and I and it came out to 32 dollars after taxes fees and tip. This is honestly way over priced and honestly has turned me off from coming here in the future. On top of this I decided to get a premade desert from the cooler and upon eating it found paper in the tres leche. PANNA has had a major fall off and has a once faithful customer this is sad to see. RIP PANNA

Google
I lost my wallet at this location and I was so amazed at how helpful and generous the staff was to take the time out of their day to help look with me. The nicest people!!! From the bottom of my heart - thank you! The food is also OUTSTANDING.

Google
Panna, besides a convenient gas station is also an amenity to have nearby. The possibility to do carwash, meanwhile having the best coffee while doing work is the best. It always checks off cleanliness, service and good coffee. Elsa is always welcoming, and I appreciate her smile. I am not sure what the coffee secret is but, here is always consistently delicious. Great job team!

Google
This is a lot of Venezuelan food and as a Cuban I was treated good and I wanted a ham and cheese but that was not in the menu but they made it for me anyways!

Yelp
Today's delicious lunch was at Panna. It's in the gas station/car wash on the East side of Weston Road just South of Royal Palm. Walking in, The aroma is really nice. The kitchen is fully visible and as spotless as the dining area. They were very well staffed and extremely friendly. I was greeted by a very nice young lady named Marcela who advised on the menu for me as it was my first time there. I ordered empanadas Colombian style (they also serve Argentine) and picanha lunch with arepas, patacones (tostones for some) & platanos maduros fritos with a side of queso blanco. Picanha is made to order and everything else was really tasty. Coincidentally......While I was enjoying my Colombian empanadas... "No le pegue a la Negra" was playing I will definitely return with the rest of the family.

Yelp
Muy buen servicio. Kudos a Yasmira, Fanny y Emerson. Muy ambiente familiar y el cafecito estuvo Buenísimo

Yelp
This is one of the busiest 24/7 Latin cafes in Weston. Its boasts a very interesting marketing concept. In addition to the cafe, they provide a drive through car wash and a full gas station. As customers wait for their car being washed maybe twelve minutes they grab a sandwich, danish or coffee. Now, something I oddly noticed is that people park their vehicle at the gas pump, fuel up, then enter the Panna for their food and coffee but leave their car at the pump, so sometimes the pump stations are slim pickings. They do have several empty parking spaces across from the Panna or behind the Carolina Ale House lot. They have a flat grill and big ovens to make several items on their delicious menu including: BURGERS * CACHITO HAM · CACHITO CHEESE · TEQUEÑO CHEESE · TEQUEÑO GUAVA AND CHEESE · MINI TEQUEÑOS . I love their espresso coffee at just over $2.00 and sit inside and chat with a group of friends as I did today. Always friendly staff and prices are extremely competitive in the Weston area that has several Latin cafes in every plaza.

Yelp
Súper recomendados los roscones son los mejores! Esto fue lo que dejé para después tiene arequipe (manjar blanco), queso y guayaba.

Yelp
A little pricey but the food was decent . My empanada wasn't the freshest but still was good

Yelp
Honestly this is some of the best finger food that my company I work for gets us every so often as a nice little pick-me-up. Whenever the food is delivered it is always hot and fresh and the array and assortment that they have in the platter is always amazing and gone within minutes because of how good it is. The main thing that I always go for on the spread are the tequinos, the cheese is always melted perfectly and the dough on the outside is always crisp and golden and fried to perfection. The cheese stretches the perfect amount and the flavors of the whole thing blend together well. My second favorite thing are the fried empanadas with the casing always being a perfect golden brown and the shredded beef on the inside seasoned magnificently. I will for sure stop here in person one day and try many of their other items they have to offer because if everything is as good as the empanadas and Little Finger sandwiches are, there's nothing I feel will taste bad at this location!

Yelp
Great place for a quick bite & coffee break. Although prices almost break the bank, you're reminded you're in Weston & paying Weston prices (over $11 for a breakfast sandwich). The vanilla iced latte was delicious along with the Venezuelan cheese empanada. My mom said her hot chocolate was average. We sat for dine-in & everything came out very quick with our 'meal' & drinks being delivered to our table. A couple decent sized tables located inside & the place is kept clean and stocked with everything you may need.
google avatar

Nadia M.

Yelp
The portions are LARGE. They have a good variety of veggie stuff so I was satisfied however my husband was set on having a hotdog and was disappointed. All the hot dogs are pork, which he doesn't eat. Maybe as many cultures also have this restriction, this is something they can look into alternatives for-like chicken ‍ Other than that, food was served hot at the table with a very very short wait. The place was immaculately clean and the staff wait staff was very attentive. The cashier where you place your order could have been a bit more friendly and helpful to those who weren't as familiar with cuisine though.

Dralulu S.

Yelp
Yasmira tiene una excelente actitud para atender los clientes, muy amable, y have un cafe delicioso, por eso le damos 5 estrellas.

Yelp
EMPANADAS and tequeños That's all I have to say. Get the cheese one, and I think it is one of the best that is easy on the palette. If you have not tried this place before, then what are you waiting for? They have a great menu and a lot of choices. Trust me on this one! I usually order the arepa tropical that comes with cheese avocado and plantains. And the service is very friendly, sometimes when it gets packed it takes a while for your food to come out, but overall clean and nice atmosphere. P.S: don't forget green the sauce!

Yelp
I stumbled into this place by accident late night. I was looking for a juice for road. But I didn't expect to find an authentic Venezuelan spot that had my favorite Tequeños. Also I love the flags. Also, I know the owner is probably watching these reviews. So I would like to know if they allow music artists to film music videos in their store?........

Yelp
Gracias.

Yelp
Cachitos undercooked. The "ham" inside tasted more like ground hot dog. The $12 Hallaca was made with chicken (leg/thigh) was disgusting. Where's the beef? Lots of grease and no flavor. They managed to wrap it twice in leaves so it looks bigger. But when you took it all apart it was a tamale you could get at a Cuban restaurant for $4. Boy the profit margins are going through the roof.

Ashley T.

Yelp
Love the pastelitos here. Order every single week. I'm obsessed with tequenos con guava y queso and theirs are superior

Yelp
i love panna , i work next door and i always get greeted with a nice smile and good food. come here if you like to be happy!

Yelp
Food is great but service is terrible. They failed to call me to pick up my food after 20 minutes of standing there even though they knew I was there waiting for it. I had to go and ask them again

Xavier S.

Yelp
Pedí una colada de 8oz y el café apenas llega a la mitad del vaso, no pido que llegue hasta el tope pero por lo menos que sea más de la mitad por favor.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
A few co-workers took me here for lunch. You would never expect this type of food quality in a gas station. There is a whole menu to choose from and everything is made fresh to order. The place gets busy for lunch and apparently there is a a constant flow of people especially in late hours. They are always here and I wish there was one closer for a drunken night fix. I got an angus steak cachapa and it was delish!! You must love cheese to enjoy it. The steak was seasoned and perfectly cooked. There is a yellow corn type of shell. With cheese inside and on top. They give you a thin cream cheese type sauce for the side which adds the perfect creamy consistency. There are specials listed on the menu screen and a wide variety to choose from. I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Tasty bite for a fast food. First visit and hopefully will not be the last one. I had never tried the pepitos. It's a very large and fulfilling sandwich filled with your choice of meat with l the works: lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, pink sauce, garlic sauce, melted mozzarella cheese topped. What it was a surprise to me was the fries. Just the perfect size and texture. Ordered before my flight and it was a great call, every bite was super tasty and the serving size was big enough to save and eat later.
google avatar

Katie G.

Yelp
The bestttttt always! Panna serves authentic Spanish food and they have a wide variety menu. This location is open 24/7

Mimi S.

Yelp
This place is sacred. Protect it at all costs. Tequeños and cachitos 24/7? This is the heart and soul of Weston Florida. This is probably more important than a court house. If you haven't been here stop wasting your time and live already. This is the location to go too- the gas station one. If you're ever driving through the area stop by and check this out. I'm surprise Guy Fieri hasn't reviewed this place for his "flavor town" special.

Pedro C.

Yelp
Only 24 hour restaurant in Weston. Great catitos and tequenos, and really nice staff. They also have a car wash for a fair price (cleans inside and outside). Recommend checking out

Jazmina G.

Yelp
The food was delicious, and service was great! We didn't wait very long to receive our food and people were very nice. I ate the Cachapa (Chicken)
google avatar

Ana P.

Yelp
If you want to eat after hours fast and delicious, come to Panna. They have a variety of Latin food well made. Nothing fancy! But it is also agood option to buy breakfast to go during the weekend. It is Latin food so if you are expecting panckes and bagels this is not the right place.

Neil F.

Yelp
The food is really good, I was able to try it at someone house who catered in, But I guess if you don't speak Spanish, you don't deserve to eat there. When you walk in and cant even place an order, its truly disappointing but its obviously not an issue they care about since they have enough Spanish speaking clientele.

Jenny C.

Yelp
Me encanta la comida pero cuando estoy gastando $100 en una orden para recoger no se me hace bien que la persona en el teléfono me diga que le suba a la que esté dando.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
This is a great go-to late night spot or quick stop in for inexpensive on the go food. Panna is attached to a gas station right next to Carolina Ale House. I ended up stopping there after having a few drinks first. It was quick service in and out. You order right at the register like you would for the gas. They have a decent size menu as well! I ended up getting a regular tequeño and a guava tequeño. Both were so amazing, and so was the dipping sauce!
google avatar

Jervishia W.

Yelp
Although there is always a wait, this a Weston little known secret. Any time I'm in the area I find myself stopping by for authentic foods and pastries. If you have a chance to stop by, please do. Love it each and every time.
google avatar

Grace A.

Yelp
Great spot for Latin food. Come here for lunch and it's fast and fresh. The carne Asada arepa is amazing. It is inside a gas station but do not be deceived. It has tables to sit and eat. The service is excellent. Very clean.

John B.

Yelp
It is a gas station, car wash and convenient store with a full menu of latino food. I had the pepito pork and the arepa carne asada sandwich. It smelled wonderful in the car as I made my way back to the hotel. The bread was wonderful. Pork was a little over cooked. Great value and two meals out of it so far and still some left over. Rated a 4 due to the pork being on the dry side.
google avatar

Ivonne S.

Yelp
Cachapas here are always tasty, service is friendly. It's actually always pretty busy which is great for them, they also have a frozen food section in case you want to bring and prepare at home
google avatar

Bruce F.

Yelp
This place right here......very low key from the outside (inside a gas station) but the food on the inside is definitively off the chain. The guy that took my order was friendly and helpful. I ordered the patachon. The seasonings and flavors along with the crunchiness of the fried plantain with steak, cabbage, garlic sauce, paisa cheese sauce made this a memorable experience. My wife ordered the baby patacon which consisted of four mini patacons. This is for those who cannot decide or just like variety. I also ordered a Venezuelan empanada with chicken. The empanada reminded me of a deep fried hot pocket filled with chicken and cheese. It wasn't bad but I guess I expected something more. The food came out in a very timely manner. For dessert I ordered the guava with cheese tequeno . The guava was the perfect compliment to the cheese and not too sweet. The wife ordered reminded of Cuban coffee. The only reason I didn't give this place five stars was because i didn't get taste any of their homemade sauces.
google avatar

Marioly F.

Yelp
I ordered a hamburger with fries they charge me $14.45 of course I'm happy to pay as long as I can get my complete order. They forgot my fries! The food is OK administration not so good.
google avatar

Brandon R.

Yelp
This is THE best place for Venezuelan food in Weston - the tequenos are to die for and that green sauce is amazing
google avatar

Vanessa P.

Yelp
Listen I know that you get for what you pay for but is cooking my bacon to a crispy perfection that much of a challenge that it can NOT be done !? This is not the first time and that is why I decided to say something now. A raw slab of bacon on top of my overly cooked eggs is just plain nasty as Latins you should know better . I know there's a pandemic going on at this time in our city but please, please ,please , don't let that affect the way you cook our breakfast! The bread has been extremely saggy & Completely Saturated with buttered. I think I'll be taking a break from ordering from you till you get your acts together. It's only Freakin breakfast for god sake.:/
google avatar

Will D.

Yelp
The undisputed champion of the late night munchies machine. Whether you want a giant hotdog, pepito (steak filled French bread topped with chips and cheese and sauces), or even just want to grab a ham filled pastry called a cachito, you will never be disappointed. I love to come on a Saturday and watch this place liberate drunk people from the bar next door with their delicious and cheap bites. On top of that, they are open 24 hours so there will never be a time that you are deprived from a delicious and awesome bite of food. There árepas are the best in Weston. They have an awesome breakfast They sell awesome Venezuelan candies They are surprisingly located at a gas station so please don't be intimidated. Be prepared to wait in line if it's a weekend. This place is definitely not a secret to the locals
google avatar

BL L.

Yelp
Giving this level of stars because of their lack of covid caution, not the quality of the food. With the covid outbreak happening you would think the business would apply at least some level of reasonable caution. We went to go buy cachitos on Christmas Day and there was a gentlemen serving food with a tiny nose constantly wiping his nose with a mask below his chin and on top of everything he was blowing his nose. I couldn't believe my eyes. If that's what's happening with customer facing employees I don't want to know what's happening behind the scenes.
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
If you're looking for a late night spot to eat in Weston, Panna is the place the go. They offer foods made to order and also various bakery items. Sometimes there can be a long line but if you order from the bakery it always comes out pretty quick. Sometimes they can mess up your order but for the most part they are pretty reliable. You never go wrong with a tequeno, cachito, or an empanada to satisfy your late night cravings. Be sure to ask for green sauce with your order!

Lynda Y.

Yelp
The food here is only exceeded by the friendly staff, always a pleasure The coffees the breakfast choices, that fresh orange juice always quality, Never disappoints
google avatar

Jake G.

Yelp
Worst Wash I've ever been to..Not sure what happened to this car wash but last 2 times I've been here the quality is HORRIBLE. None of the employees have a sense of urgency, my truck came out of the wash dirty, the guys then used towels to dry the truck and clean the dirt that didn't come off in the wash. As I sat and watched, those same guys used the SAME towels to clean my windows and wipe the inside of the car. No manager in sight!!! Almost done.....no, time for tire shine.....employee used bottle to squirt shine all over tire (and rims) and then used a brush to wipe it. Tire shine all over the rims now. Truck is still filthy, only has 3000miles and now smells like a sweaty sock. When it's time to leave the property, understand that the $20+++ you paid for the terrible wash is now worse because you have to drive through a foot deep of dirty water(see pic)

Yelp
Panna is a classic!! It really is a Weston staple, and the only food spot in Weston open pretty much 24 hours. Everyone has been to Panna at least once, I am a long time customer, ever since I have moved here. It's nothing crazy, it's just consistent and good hispanic food. It is overpriced that is my only complaint. They also have American food like burgers and kids tenders , neither are that good, but the hispanic food is the way to go. They also make great colada, cortado, and cafe con leche! They have delicious tequenos. make sure you get the salsa verde to dip them in for maximum flavor deliciousness. -The Venezuelan empanadas are amazing too, they are the fried ones and I recommend the shredded chicken. i highly recommend with salsa verde or aji sauce. -Argentinian empanadas are good, but they do contain egg and olives, not my favorite. They are the baked ones. -Colombian empanadas are fried with meat and potatoes inside, they are great with the aji sauce - they do make a solid guava cheese pastelito, I don't like that the top has lots of granulated sugar so I just break the top pieces off and the puff pastry below remains. The arepas are good too but 7 dollars is way too much to pay for an arepa in my opinion. Overall, this place is great for a quick consistent snack, it is a bit overpriced but it does hit the spot if you are craving hispanic snacks
google avatar

Luis P.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. I call them all the time and it takes about 40 min on average to get them on the phone to place an order. Oh, their number from Yelp is wrong, u have to get their number from google to get the right phone number.
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
Come here to grab a quick bite of yummy delicious troquenos snow we tails to be hot and fresh!

Curazao D.

Yelp
Excelente food , and service! The have remodel and the place looks amazing! Excellent atmosphere!
google avatar

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
I absolutely loooooove the guava and cheese tequenos and quite honestly its the only thing I've tried but they are soooo delicious. I literally went back twice today within the hour cause one just wasn't enough. Panna happens to be inside the gas station but pretty much takes up most of it. It's pretty packed regardless of when you stop in. Its attached to a car wash that gets super busy in the mornings and lots of bikers and early risers so tables are usually taken up inside but this is stop and go for me and I'm okay with that. Place is spotless, service is good and tequenos alone are waaaaay worth the stop for me.
google avatar

Carmen G.

Yelp
Overly priced. Have had several plates from here and it's meh. Giving it 2 stars because the Orange juice is fresh and tasty and so is their Cobb chicken salad. Butttt that's about it. The service is slow the food is overpriced and the coffee is horrible !
google avatar

Jen H.

Yelp
This restaurant is located within a very busy Chevron gas station with a full service car wash service, as well. I have been here on several occassions, and have never been satisfied by the service. The person at the register takes your food order, but has to yell to the back to see of they still have the items you'd like - but they have a register in the back, and plenty of people who are competent on how to take orders closer to the food - so no yelling is needed, and they don't slow down the customers who are there to just pay for their gas/gas station items. Most of the workers in the "kitchen" area are only Spanish speaking which makes it hard to communicate when you need something else after you've been given your order. The fresh and hot items are delicious, and highly recommended! My favorite are the calchapas! I have tried most of their menu, and it's all delicious when made fresh. I would stay away from the latin corner items, such as the empanadas, pandebono, etc. - unless you get them early in the morning. I bought a Venezuelan Chicken Empanada, a pandebono, and a guava and cheese pastry yesterday at around 7 p.m. - and would've returned them if I wasn't already on my way home. Everything was dry, hard, and barely lukewarm. Which was such a disappointment to my previous visits. If you're looking for something quick and delicious to eat (and need gas or maybe a detailed car wash) make sure to visit Panna, but don't expect too much from their staff. Food - 4.5/5 Staff - 2/5 Location - 1/5

Yelp
Food was great. Always love coming here! You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
The famous spot for years in Weston! Best Venezuelan food. I always come here for the cachitos and tequenos but the arepas are good, the pepitos are also good and the burgers are really tasty. We also buy our pan the Jamon every Christmas here! Is quick and easy. Hard to find parking sometimes and also a table to seat. But price is right and food is delicious plus you can eat any candy or chocolate from Vzla here too!
