Panorama Glass Lodge West

We stayed at the Panorama Glass Lodge for the final night of our honeymoon. The location and setting were absolutely beautiful, and we had been really looking forward to ending our trip with something special. While the stay was lovely overall, a few things left us feeling a little overlooked. I emailed ahead to see if we could check in early and mentioned it was our honeymoon, but we never got a response. There was no note or small gesture to acknowledge the occasion either, which made it feel like we were just another booking rather than guests celebrating a meaningful moment. The lodge itself is stunning and thoughtfully designed, and the digital guidebook was helpful. Still, some things were a bit confusing, like the hot tub thermostat, which wasn’t displayed in the room as mentioned. After spending days exploring Iceland in a camper van, this was meant to be a highlight of our trip. While we did enjoy our stay, a little more personal care would have gone a long way.

This place is gorgeous - one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The Lodge is fab - well equipped with a hot tub and a sauna. The views are superb and we were over the moon to see the Northern Lights - there is so little light pollution they were fantastic. Highly recommend Panorama Glass Lodge (the one we stayed in is called Frigg).

Absolutely worth the splurge! We stayed in Frigg with our two children and it was a lovely stay. The lodge was spotless, easy to find, great information was sent out ahead of time, and all around just a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic splurge! I wish we could have stayed longer, the house itself was a dream. They provided some shelf stable goods (pasta, rice, cereal) and link to an EXTENSIVE guide of the house, troubleshooting the hot tub/heating and cooling system, and where to get perishable goods/groceries. The Nespresso and tea were much appreciated added touches, as well as the black out shades at the bottom of each glass wall. We got to keep the eye masks too!

The most amazing and unique accommodation we have every stayed at. Check in/out directions were easy to follow. Lodge was clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials. The attention to detail was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate and we were unable to see the Northern Lights. Even without the Aurora on display, this place is still breathtaking. We plan on returning in the future.

This place was simply out of this world! Perfectly clean an dwell equipped. Location is unique, simply perfect! Instructions were super clear to follow and suggestions to places around were great. Definitely one of the best places we have stayed! We will definitely stay here again!

The views! This place had planned for all types of guests (elderly, kids, adults) Everything was organized and easy to use. The attention to detail was impeccable. Unfortunately we had clouds and missed the Northern Lights on our 1 night here but the place would have been amazing in the right conditions. 10/10. Would stay again

The panoramic glass walls offered breathtaking views of the water/land making it feel like we were truly living within nature, yet with all the comforts of a luxury retreat. The interior was just as impressive—stylish, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the plush bedding to the state-of-the-art kitchen. The open-concept layout created a sense of space and tranquility, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was the outdoor hot tub, where I could relax under the stars—it's an experience I won't soon forget! The lodge was also equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home, including high-end amenities, fast Wi-Fi, and a cozy fireplace for those chilly nights. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway that combines luxury, nature, and unforgettable views, I highly recommend the panorama glass lodge. It was an experience that exceeded all expectations, and I can't wait to return!
