The nine most-anticipated restaurant and bar openings this fall in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"Las Vegas deejay turned chef Shaun O’Neale won Gordon Ramsay’s cooking competition MasterChef in 2016, taking home $250,000 and a cookbook deal. O’Neale toured the world, going to food festivals, events, and cooking in different locales. Now the chef is ready to start his own restaurant to showcase his food. O’Neale teamed up with mixologist and former Survivor: Samoa contestant Benjamin Browning to open Larrea, taking over the former Blind Pig space at Panorama Towers on Dean Martin Drive this fall. Larrea, a desert flower, represents the “gem that’s found in the desert” vibe the restaurant and bar has planned. The seasonal menu that uses local purveyors such as wagyu beef from Wells, Nevada, starts with dishes such as a wild mushroom risotto, Nevada wagyu steak, scallop crudo, Baja kampachi crudo, roasted bone marrow, and honey-lacquered Jidori chicken." - Susan Stapleton

Current resident: the HOA is currently a mess (most don't live here, keeps raising the rates, and keep cutting the services provided for residents). HOA is easily a grand a month. Security sucks--a resident's car was just stolen from the parking garage and they refuse cooperate with police (not to mention most of the parking garage does NOT have cameras or working cameras). Also a car was stolen from valet when someone went and brazenly took the keys from there. There's little to no resident mixers. Zero on sight, and they blame not having a budget for it. Depending which unit you end up in, there may or may not be water leakage issues and sometimes your unit can be damaged by negligence by another resident ( leaking interior pipe, interior water line, etc). Management might ignore you and you'll only make headway if you press them for a year or more. Management is often unhelpful and unprofessional. But hey, the views are nice and it's centrally located.

The spa could use a hot/cold room and safer shower. I am lucky to be able to say that I am alive. I couldn't do it. I would of been more alive this last 4 days if it had. Other than that. Spa was beautiful. Maybe a tenant or two questionable. You know. Pirates.

Five-Star Review for Panorama Towers Panorama Towers is a standout luxury residence in Las Vegas, offering an incredible combination of style, location, and amenities. Luxury Real Estate Advisors has been proud to provide sales, leasing, and property management services here since its inception, and it’s easy to see why this property is so highly regarded. The location is unbeatable, with close proximity to the Strip, Allegiant Stadium, and world-class dining and entertainment. The amenities, including a beautiful pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, and valet services, cater perfectly to a luxury lifestyle. The panoramic views of the city and mountains are simply breathtaking. Panorama Towers sets the standard for high-rise living in Las Vegas, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for elegance and convenience in one package!

UPDATE: I'm going to update my review, for the AMAZING manager of Valet, the female security supervisor, Tower 2 concierge, & Tower 2 Receiving. They have been absolutely amazing, & the saving grace for me being here. Especially since I literally only come out to get packages, or leave. Also wanted to highlight I like that they give away products to residents; paintings, and things of that nature or it's donated for those in need. That's awesome. Original: Only been here a month, and it's giving glorified apartment complex. Water is harsh, and disgusting. So harsh it stains the countertops, and all your fixtures from your kitchen sink faucet to your shower head. There's a VERY evident energy of certain residents being treated better, and has been expressed to me by multiple staff that one tower is treated better than the next. All these rules to get into this property, all the rules for accessing the property if you have guests deliveries or maintenance; but the property hasn't actually given Luxury since I've been here. Service is NOT the same across the board, spare a few concierge and security that have been great since I've been here. However a lot of the concierge act like they hate their jobs, and always have a stank look on their faces. I'm not impressed, my unit is okay but came with its own issues. Coming from properties like Veer Towers, & Palms Place where I still have a great connection with the staff from valet to concierge I'm already looking to cut my lease in half.

Yelp
I have lived here for several years. It has changed. It used to be a fun eclectic place with all lifestyles from professional poker players, industry people, normal Joe's, and a few famous people. Now there are many older people that are majorly nosy and whiny and totally bring down the vibe. Staff are usually very good especially the long tenured staff that know what Panorama was in the peak. You still can't beat the location and a lot of the amenities like balconies, car service and the gym but you can tell that the buildings is starting to go downhill due to age. They have done some new upgrades, but the upgrades aren't to luxury standards and I feel many corners are being cut.

Yelp
We loved living at Panorama Towers. The building is prime walking distance to the strip but just far enough away to have peace & quiet. Everyone from security to the front desk to HOA and the residents, everyone is friendly, helpful and wonderful to deal with. There are 2 house cars to take residents wherever they need to go. The building is well maintained and in excellent condition. The gyms (yes, there are two) are both well equipped and not crowded. Highly recommend living at Pano.

Yelp
I live at Veer and compared to my building this one is so much better. There is a gate, valet and also self parking. The lobby is spacious and gorgeous. Large gym. Beautiful views. Great pool area. This building is top notch is you want to find luxury combined with prime location!

Yelp
Panorama Towers is a private and exclusive high rise condominium and penthouse community. It's perfectly located along the 15, just north of Tropicana, at Harmon, giving residents quick and easy access to both the Las Vegas Strip, and to the freeway. Most of the condos have extraordinary views of the city, the mountains, and/or the Las Vegas Strip. The security is tight, and the location is well maintained.

Yelp
Beware: Just because there aren't that many quality apartments to move to close to the Las Vegas Strip do NOT settle for renting from Pano. Sure it's nice to save money on rent but the terrible management staff and rude drivers will not make the renting experience a good one. The air quality inside the units ac system dont circulate clean air . Many of the apartments have mold in the washer and dryer closet. There are numerous break-ins . My Pano apartment got broken into twice and the officer on the scene suggested that I not inform management because the metro police suspects they could have been behind it. The smoke alarm goes off in Pano apartments for no reason. I have rented at pano. for one year and can not wait until my lease is up at the end of January 2019.

Yelp
This place is bro central, move here if you wanna party and be around tons of young people and smell weed all day in the hallways.
google avatar

Hailey C.

Yelp
Incomprehensibly unprofessional staff. This is by far the worst living situation I have ever encountered. Can you imagine being woken up out of your sleep with an alarm continuously going off for over thirty minutes as we tried to gather ourselves to evacuate...... walking down over 30 flights of stairs.... only to find business as usual at the front desk? Not only did they have no concern for the alarm, Teresa also informed me that I shouldn't be concerned either. If you choose to live in an expensive condominium, do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else. There's honestly just too many great choices in Las Vegas to waste your time with this shit hole.

Yelp
Terrible customer service!!! You pay for a luxury accommodation and get treated like crap! I would avoid living here!!! DONT DO IT!!!

Yelp
We bought our unit 2+ years ago in Tower 2 and love it. The concierge knows my family by name and my children know they can go to the desk for anything. I love that the security can be messaged via an app of something is wrong. The security gates are nice knowing people are supposed to register their guests. The cleaning staff is always working to keep things looking good. Sometimes they don't do a great job but that can be anywhere you go. My reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is some of the renters. They are supposed to pass a background check and some seem quite sketchy - maybe they just haven't been caught yet? It also seems the renters are less caring about leaving garbage around and they are more noisy and careless. Yes, some could be owners doing this but the ones I have encountered have all been renters. The pool are could be improved but I see things changing so that gives me hope. The landscapers need more direction I think!

Yelp
I've actually lived here for almost 3 years at this point. The funny part is I was born and raised in Vegas and besides a brief stint in LA, Vegas has been my home. I think that if you are going to live in Vegas, not married, no kids and animals aren't your life, this is the place to live. Especially if you work on or near the strip. There are so many things to do in this area, the views are sick and it's a quick cab ride or free limo drive if you schedule accordingly. The concierge, Dee, Chantal the front office manager, to Joe the valet supervisor all are the best this area has to offer. Yes you pay a premium to live here but why not? You have two pools, steam room, two gyms, a parking garage, free valet for guests, not to mention a safe and secure building. I have lived in Summerlin, owned my own house and have no reason to live otherwise at this point. It's your choice, you decide ;)

Yelp
I moverd in this building three months ago the staff is so friendly everyone knows your name after two weeks I looked all over the area for a condo and 100 % this was the best choice you're literally a 60 second car ride to the cosmopolitan in the center of the strip. Pools and hot tub till 12am and we even get to use the limos free

Yelp
Panorama Towers Condominiums are great! I purchased my 2 Bedroom/2 Bath unit in 2017 and I have no regrets. First, the location can not be beat (you're on the same street as the new Raiders stadium, just a short distance away). I didn't want to live on "the Strip" because of all the traffic. Second, most of these condos would be twice as expensive on the Strip and would have less space (I used to live in Downtown, Los Angeles and I know that my unit would cost twice as much there). At Panorama, residents can enjoy a huge heated Pool, a gym with all the latest equipment & dedicated staff. I recommend Panorama Towers to any potential buyer.

Kimmy K.

Yelp
OK well, to start off, the staff here is very unpleasant. anytime I ever try to have a guest even so an Uber or taxi driver or Postmates to get a simple croissant for breakfast I have to go through at least three people on staff and the guard at the gate . The guard gate acts as if he is a government official guarding an Alien territory. I'm very confused on how this staff works when they're supposed to be a convenience for your life, however they are making my life very inconvenient, especially comparing to the staff in many other local condos around the area. The staff needs to work on helping the residents instead of going against them and making every single thing very difficult. I do not recommend anybody living here I lived in many condos in the Vegas area and this by far is the worst and most inconvenient one.

Yelp
I have been living here for a month, moved from Wisconsin and did so much research on which Vegas High Rise was the best, all and all this looked good. For starters, I'm in love with this place! The staff from the valet down to the concierge are amazing to say the least! I see each of them on a daily basis and I must say they are the best ever! I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy any of the amenities other then valet and limo service, but so far I give them a 10+! For anyone considering living at Panorama I say go for it, you won't regret it! Move in for me was a breeze, the wonderful valet workers helped with anything I needed. Just to give smaller details, things are always clean, the security is great so it feels like a very safe place! It's so close to Vegas it's wonderfully convenient! I'm glad I live where I do and I hope if you're considering it you also give Panorama a chance too cause you'll love it!

Yelp
We purchased at Panorama about 4 months ago and we absolutely love it so far. The concierge's are always friendly and helpful. The lobby areas are always spotless. We had someone park in one of our designated spots one evening and security tracked down the owner of the car and had them move it all in a matter of 15 minutes. Location - it is so easy to get around town from this location. Dean Martin Drive takes you to the I-15 freeway in two different locations (North to Flamingo or South to Tropicana). The complex has a back gate that puts you onto Harmon and that allows you to get to the Strip in a matter of two minutes or UNLV in about 8 minutes. The airport is about 10 minutes and don't forget to use the free (included in your HOA dues) limo service within 3 miles, airport or downtown LV area. We are very happy with our purchase so far.

Yelp
Lived here for a year... very comfy, plush high rise living. We had a one bedroom with a den, facing west, so always got to see gorgeous sunsets over the hills. The building had great amenities, with a pool for each tower, workout room, racquetball court, steam room and common room you could rent out with a movie theatre and pool table. The staff was friendly for the most part, some of the best Valets in Vegas (I'm looking at you Manny and Star). Front desk could be difficult to communicate with at times. The main hiccup I had with this place were all the rules. Always having to call security or have security call you to let someone in to visit, or deliver food, etc. Moving was a pain, as you could only get access to service elevators on a week-day. It was just stressful doing anything logistics-wise in this building, as it seemed as a paying resident, you had to conform to all of their arbitrary rules. Other than that, a pleasant experience, I had some great times, the unit itself was awesome and always garnered high compliments!

Yelp
My wife was in the locker room and the "security guy" just came walking in on her. Complete creep

Yelp
I'm gonna start off by saying that I think most of the time, Panorama is easily a 4+ star building. However, since we moved in 5 months ago, 3 of the months there has been significant construction going on. The construction is loud, frustrating and a massive annoyance. At one point for about 2 weeks straight, an OUTRAGEOUSLY loud drill was being operated every morning, sometimes as early as 6am(I legitimately got under 2 hours of sleep a night). Other than the construction however, pretty much everything about Panorama is great. The location, staff, security and amenities are all A+. I'm very excited for the construction to finally be over so I can change this to a 5 star.
google avatar

Yelp
I've only lived here for a couple of months, but it's honestly not that hard to tell just how great this place is. The concierge know my name, and the names of most of my friends- a couple can even recognize my voice over the phone. Everyone is so unbelievable nice, and not to mention willing to help with anything and everything I could possibly ask for. The amenities are wonderful, always managing to astound me when I visit them.
google avatar

Melanie J.

Yelp
Lift here for I think around 3 years this place seems to be getting only better and better there are now more shops it's a lot busier it was great when I live there quite a while ago and it just seems to be getting better all the time I would recommend living at Panorama Towers
google avatar

Alma M.

Yelp
If the shoddy construction is any indication, living in Panorama is going to suck, much like other Florida East Cost Realy projects. For example, no one in the neighborhood is able to sleep due to the constant fire alarms going off in the middle of the night (in an unoccupied building). This, after more than a year of constant construction noise at all hours, every single day. Unbearable.

John J.

Yelp
Investors swamped back in when the Raiders announced the new stadium. Back to the AIRBNB wars, short term rentals and other investment shenanigans. Back to the Realtors doing fake background checks, parties, deadbeat renters trashing the place and abuse of the limo service. Resident was assaulted by a "friend" of a food delivery guy, so now you see security escorting the food delivery up to the units. You can still get your drugs and escorts up without a security escort, as the elevators are still all access. Anyone can come and go. Security is as imaginary as a Disney ride, and it's mainly there to police the residents who rent there. If you're up to no good, the Pano is back in business. If you're looking for the higher class experience by the strip, that's on the back burner for some time. The HOA is a disaster.
google avatar

Joe H.

Yelp
What an awesome place to live and what an awesome staff!! The new management- led by Scott - has done some amazing things. I couldn't be happier. Everyone that works here provides outstanding service with a smile- love the management, drivers, valets, concierge and even the maintenance people are polite and nice. .
google avatar

Ez M.

Yelp
If I could give it 0 star I would. They use alarm check as an excuse to enter your apartment and steel money. Today 2800 cash was taken from my unit. No break in nothing. Someone with the key came in and took the cash, very clean job. The security doesn't take any responsibility. This place is not what it used to be. Be aware. I'll take this to media and make sure everyone knows what is been happening here.

Yelp
This is the best place to live on the west coast. It is the closes thing to being in Miami on the west coast. The ammenities, service and royal treatment they give you is amazing. I felt like a king when I lived there. Limo service, spa, concierge, location and views is luxury.

Richard W.

Yelp
kimmy.k AGREED!! I thought I was the only one that felt this way lol totally odd because you would totally expect different treatment especially from high end luxury condominium. I guess they think their doing us a favor ‍

Lily J.

Yelp
Fave High Rise in Vegas! Chic, modern and conveniently located behind City Center. Extremely nice concierge. Accessible to everywhere and anywhere on the strip.

Shel D.

Yelp
beautiful, elegant classy - Love the fact that my homie lives in this place....location is clutch!

Tony M.

Yelp
As someone who has spent significant time in both the Panorama and Martin towers I can say with an unbiased honesty that Panorama is becoming more like a retirement home every day. With new rules in place, the pool closes at 10pm every night, there is a security guard in the gym 24/7 to watch over you while you work out, and there are 3-5 different construction projects going on around the building at any given time. They have been rebuilding the tower 1 jacuzzi for almost a full year now and there are barricades in the pool area as a result of this. The redeeming quality is that you still get one of the best views in Las Vegas and you are only a skip and a jump away from some of the best casinos and hotels in the world. If this is what you are looking for then you would be better suited for The Martin tower next door with all of the amenities of the Panorama towers plus a 24/7 pool, coed indoor jacuzzi, and an on site bar that hosts events so you can meet and have drinks with your neighbors without even having to leave the tower. If you are a retiree or simply someone who wants a quiet place to live next to the Las Vegas strip then I would recommend Panorama. For young professionals that want to live like you are supposed to in a high rise in the most exciting city in the World, then I would sway you towards The Martin.
