The food here is really delicious. Everything tasted super great. Only the salad wasn’t as flavourful or salty as I would have enjoyed, but it was still good and a nice in between dish between appetiser and main meal and was refreshing. Their grilled squid and fried calamari is my favourite thing they have. I enjoy their sausage and biftekia almost as much. Rice and potatoes are well seasoned and have a good texture. The dips are all great and are better than many other places, especially the taramosalata which I find I don’t eat very much of at the other places - here it was the dip I ate the most of. Really tasty and satisfying food that left me feeling good and not too full or heavy. The amount was plenty and I had leftovers for the next day. It’s a great place to go with your family, taking time to enjoy a nice dinner. I really like this place a lot, it’s familiar and is straight up what a Greek restaurant in Toronto is, but done really really well.

The food here was so delicious. I went with one other person and we split the full meal. We had the chicken and the eggplant dip and they were both delicious. The highlight of the meal was the waiters suggestion. He said we should get the grilled calamari and he was 100% right. I will becoming back just for that!

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Pantheon. It has such a cozy, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The food tasted truly homemade, we ordered the octopus, calamari, and saganaki, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of authentic Greek flavor. You can really feel the tradition and care in every dish. The new owner has kept the restaurant exactly as it was, preserving its home-style charm and comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they even surprised us with a delicious cake, which made the evening feel extra special. Such a memorable birthday dinner. We can’t wait to go back!

Came here on a weekday night and it was still very busy! I ordered the combo for two since we wanted a little taste of everything. I wasn’t disappointed. The highlights for me were the grilled octopus and calamari — both perfectly cooked, soft, and delicious. The spanakopita was also incredibly crispy, flaky, and packed with spinach and cheese. Pantheon really feels like a local jewel in the heart of Danforth, and you can see that through the service. Every staff member treats you like family, and I had a great experience with the servers. Definitely would come back again to try more dishes.

I have been there few days ago and they are very good!! Really worth to go!! 1. Foods are fantastic! Each of the dishes are so fresh! 2. Good services! They want you to tell them if foods are good or not, they want to keep improvements! They will keep you provide water for you! Also they are very considerate! 3. The boss is very generous! I was asking for packing the rest of the food, he gives me extra box of roasted potatoes! Also give me a cake after knowing I am the first time travel here! Feels like you are one of the member in their family. Fantastic food, good people, fancy dining environments! Thumbs up!

We ordered a big Mediterranean platter with lamb chops, chicken skewers, grilled shrimp, sausage, and calamari. Everything was well‑seasoned and cooked nicely, with lemon and sauces on the side. The dips—hummus, tzatziki, and a beet spread—were fresh, and the sides like rice and roasted vegetables made the meal feel complete. Plenty of variety and great for sharin

The lamb was perfectly cooked and very juicy. Potatoes were good but I wish it came with rice. I usually avoid Grilled calamari and haven't had it in years, but this is highly recommend. You won't be disappointed with the food and service. Reservation are recommend.

They were able to accommodate us last minute today even though it was new year which was great! The food was delicious, especially the calamari. This is probably THE best calamari I’ve had around and that tzatziki is phenomenal!!!!! I ordered the small chicken souvlaki…only preference I had was that I wish the potatoes had a bit more of a lemon flavour. We also had the hummus + pita which was delicious! You can tell they have been doing this for a long time and it felt very homey in there restaurant.

My mom loves their grilled octopus. So whenever she is in the city, we would find opportunities to go to this restaurant. We also ordered their moussaka, and it was delicious. We also noticed the freshness and the quality of the vegetables were really good as well.

We've visited twice and got the exact same dish both times. You cannot go wrong with Greek food in Greektown! We got the hot combo for two which came with octopus, calamari, sausage, potatoes, dolmadakia (stuffed grape leaves), and spanakotiropita (spinach and feta cheese pie). We also got a side of saganaki (flaming cheese). My favourite was the calamari - so tender! Everything was absolutely so delicious and service was so amazing - they even gave us a honey cake on the house. This place is great for a date night or even just a casual dinner.

DECENT GREEK CUISINE AT DANFORTH After reading many great reviews about this place, we decided to give it a try during a weekday night. We went early so we got a table without waiting, although the place was packed shortly afterward. We ordered the Octopus Skaras (grilled octopus) and the Grill Mix (chicken, lamb, and sausage). The octopus dish was quite good - tender and nicely marinated. The Grill Mix though, gave us a "mixed feeling". We like the lamb chop the most! The sausage is decent, but the chicken breast certainly has rooms for improvement. It was overcooked and quite dry. The service was good overall and our server was quite responsive. It was a full-house that night, so we felt they were rushing a bit at times (just a little bit) but that's understandable.

This restaurant is just as good as I remember it. I used to come here with my family because we loved the food so much. I haven't been in a few years, but not much has changed. I made reservations online for 7:45pm on a Tuesday, but ended up being really early. They happened to be able to seat us within 10-15mins which was nice. It was the first Tuesday after New Year's and it was raining, so I thought it would be quiet. It was quite the opposite. It was really busy! We ordered the mousaka and grilled calamari (main dish size). The mousaka was heavenly. It's my favourite thing to get here. The grilled calamari was also delicious. It came with three large pieces. We had enough for leftovers, being two people. The dessert was also such a nice touch! Service was excellent. We always had our waters topped up and was attended to quite frequently. All staff were very friendly. I've missed this place and can't wait to be back!

This place has changed a lot. It used to be a cultural centre, a family place with great food and a fun atmosphere. Tonight, the three of us had a distinctly different experience; rushed, loud, disrespectful, and certainly not worth the value. We were seated at the end of the restaurant, close to the kitchen. That part is fine. But then the owner was sitting next to us, with his son (I'm guessing). Both speaking very loudly to each other (we could hear them speak about another patron). The younger man was on his phone, FaceTiming, on speakers!! The food arrived in a relatively suitable time. But the Greek salad was just swimming, floating, in dressing! You could soup up the end-plate if you were into that. The servers came to pick up our empty plates. They asked us to pass the plates to them!! Unwilling to go around the table to collect the empty dishes from our sides -- as they do in any restaurant. I had a "small piati" (grilled chicken). Six small peaches of chicken with a Greek salad -- $24.99! The flavor of the chicken was acceptable. But certainly not worth the price paid. Sadly, this is our goodbye to a place we loved a lot.

Amazing Greek takeout - so tasty and lots of variety to order from. I've had their calamari which are fresh and so tasty, their chicken and pork dinners with rice and potatoes is outstanding. Great portions for what you are ordering and all so delicious.

The Pantheon was a staple in Greek town however, there is a noticeable shift. This is in large due to the change in ownership as the original Greek owners sold and it's now owned by an Iranian businessman who does not understand or appreciate Greek culture and food. While the food is still relatively good and the service is kind, this is due to the original chef and servers who are Greek. However, the owner and his Son have slowly ruined the ambiance and traditions as they are obnoxious, rude and focused on changing the Greek staples that used to make this restaurant unique. The father and son also do not know the clientele and slot anyone to sit anywhere leaving long standing customers to feel excluded. This owner has taken over the Pantheon and you can already see the impact on the ambiance as the son is always on his iPad (they don't care about Greek food because it's not their culture. They're here for the money grab on the hardworking backs of the Greeks). It won't be long before it crashes. My husband said the Greek servers and chef should pool their money and reclaim the Pantheon!

Expensive and underwhelming. Our main waiter was lovely, but support staff were not. All the food was very average and overpriced for what you get. Heavy on the oil and lacking flavour. Dip tray did not come with pita -- apparently we were supposed to use our hands. Greek salad felt like an Olive Garden salad with a sprinkle of feta. Who makes a Greek salad with lettuce? Looking for good Greek food? Keep walking.

Of the seeming 100s of Greek spots on the Danforth, Pantheon is definitely in the top tier. My wife and I got their Pantheon Hot Combo for 2 for $48, and it was great value (there was so much food we even brought some home). The combo had spanakotiropita (great flamingos, overflowing with cheese), grilled sausage (tasty and juicy), dolmadakia (good flavour on the leaves, generous stuffing), grilled calamari (tasty though a bit rubbery), grilled octopus (tasty and smooth though a bit overly charred), and roasted potatoes (soft and smooth). We also added a small greek salad (generous cheese) and pita bread (amazing and piping hot). Service was super friendly and quietly efficient. We had quite a meal at Pantheon and can see why it's always full.

Hubby had a course in the area so I asked him if he'd like to have an early dinner. I made the reservations in the morning on OpenTable for 2 people. We got seated inside. It's a little small & narrow inside but it looks nice & is well organized. For appetizers we ordered the Greek bruschetta (no cheese due to my allergy), hummus & pita. The hummus had little flakes of chilli as there was a slight spice to it. It came with an olive on top. The pita is a separate charge but still good with the hummus. The bruschetta is on a baked bread. The crust reminded me of a thin pizza crust & it was delicious too. Hubby & I shared the Grill mix (chicken souvlaki, 2 lamb chops & a sausage with salad, grilled veggies & potato). Hubby also ordered a chicken skewer on the side. The food was delivered promptly & everything tasted really good. The portions are a good size for us. We actually are taking home some of the Grill Mix because we couldn't finish it. When we asked if they had dessert they said they'd be right back. They gave us dessert on the house. That was very nice of them. It was honey cake. I let hubby eat most of it as it had a lot of cinnamon on it & I don't like cinnamon. Waitstaff were very good here. They seemed to have their own duties. But they would help out at other tables too. We watched dished going out & they were going out like clockwork. So that says to me they also have good kitchen staff. We gave them a nice tip as most of the waitstaff helped our table. I'm quite impressed with the way things are run at this restaurant. It was like a well oiled machine. I'd come here again for sure.

Finally got around to trying this stalwart of the Danforth Greek scene. The interior is no frills and the ambience definitely reminded me of being back in Greece at a family-owned taverna -- the music probably contributed to that. Unfortunately, the sea smelt were not in season so I opted for the grilled chicken skewer, which had nice flavour. We all shared the dip platter, which came with 5 dips, warm pita and some marinated octopus. All quite tasty. I particularly liked the tzatziki and tirokafteri (spicy feta spread). Personally, I wasn't a fan of the gigantes (Greek baked beans) but absolutely loved the pickled beets. The horiatiki salad (Greek salad without the lettuce) was fresh. Others at the table enjoyed the grilled sausage and the lamb. Basically, if you're craving Greek, this is a good bet.

Enjoyed it for the most part. The staple of Greek food is either souvlaki or gyros wit Tzatziki and I had neither. I went with a seafood dish instead and it was moist and felt fresh. The prawn was large and well grilled, the orange roughy deliciously done (and orange!) and calamari again tasty and not rubbery or dry. Well done. The side of rice was fine too, but the accompanying beans were strongy and dry. The beans were very likely out of a frozen bag. They served complimentary boring white bread and butter to start. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special or fancy there. The menu has souvlaki, fish, soups, family trays and plenty of alcohol. The service was polite and attentive. The waiter was friendly and the hostess polite and welcoming. Prices were average, the setting was a little crowded and close-quarters, but it is summer and they have a patio I would recommend. Washroom was not the cleanest, but okay. This is billed as authentic Greek - the type of place where they let the flame loose and yell 'opa ' - and I think it lived up to that billing. I would say that I would be happy to go back and order a' meat and potato' souvlaki here. Speaking of billing, did not enjoy being prompted for ridiculous amounts for tips. Firstly, tipping (lying about prices) should be banished. The service was fine, but post your price and just your price. Secondly, I am sick of all these asks for 15%, 18%, 20%, 25% etc on top of the posted price. Businesses should stop being coy and just prompt for 200% tip. That would help the bottom-line even more, right? .

I've been here so much, it's considered the best Greek food in Toronto. Maybe even Canada. I think the quality is always consistent. There's definitely some competition in York Region, but this place will always be special! Great food, great service and awesome atmosphere.

My wife, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and I decided to give Pantheon a try last night. It was a great decision because we absolutely loved it! We had been to a number of other Greek restaurants on the Danforth and Pantheon is absolutely the best! The food was amazing and our server was fantastic! It was such a great experience that we had to seek out the owner to let her know how much we enjoyed ourselves and that we would definitely be returning!

We dropped by this place on a nice warm evening. Got patio seating. It was perfect atmosphere. We got greeted with water and bread. The bread was honestly unnecessary and slightly disappointing. I'd personally prefer a pita over bread. But the rest of the meal did not disappoint! I ordered a small chicken souvlaki dinner. You get a Greek salad on side before the main comes out. The meat was perfectly tender. Lots of great flavours in this meal. My husband got jumbo shrimp meal. The shrimp was nice and saucy, came served with some veggies and on top of rice with mushrooms. At the end of the meal, we got a complimentary piece of cake. It had juicy honey flavour to it, but not soggy. It was really a pleasant surprise to top our meal. The servers were super nice and welcoming. I'd defiantly come back here for another dinner.

We had not been here for many years so were happy to see the building remodeled. We had a fine Greek meal, in large proportions including small salad, potatoes, and green beans. I was pleased by the grilled octopus and my wife enjoyed roasted lamb. Assyrtiko wine was tasty. Honey cake desserts were delicious but used to be complimentary in past years. Our only complaint was that we were seated right by the kitchen and a busy pathway for servers, seemingly because the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night. I asked the person who seemed to be in charge if we could be seated at one of the empty tables nearby but was told no because the restaurant was busy. Mmm. Otherwise the service was adept, polite, and efficient.

We stopped in for a take out on a Saturday afternoon and our order was ready within 15 minutes of calling it in. We ordered fried calamari appetizer, small dip platter, grilled lamb vhop dinner and a small pork souvlaki dinner. The dinners came with Greek salad, rice, Greek potatoes, some green beans. The portions were hefty and we barely got through half of our order between the 2 adults and an 8 yr old. The lamb chops were so well cooked and melt in your mouth tender. The calamari was thick with light dusting of flour type of batter. The pork was well seasoned. We especially loved all the dips and plan to make wraps with the leftovers. Our Pantheon take out experience was stellar and we can't wait to try dining in at some point in the near future.

Tiny little place-bursting with energy, food aroma, and sweet hospitality. Went in without a reservation and they were so nice about it. Even though they were filled to their eyeballs with people, they gave us a table. Great staff. I would recommend the joint for a date or a friendly occasion or events with kids. But not for a formal event for work or a fine dining experience. It's like a busy NYC cafe/bistro and quite loud. Greek salad was very fresh. They kept the lettuce cold and crisp. The table bread was white bread that was not toasted but very fresh. The patates appetizer was very good. It's a greek version of potatoes au gratin. I'm pretty sure the vibe of their patrons is fiercely loyal. You either love this place or not. I like the greek version of potatoes au gratin. The grated cheese is sprinkled instead of smothered on the thin slices. You might think they have their own farm to deliver a true farm to table experience like the one I had. The moussaka is not tomato based and has big pieces of eggplant. I like my moussaka to have everything blended and a hint of tomato throughout with the bread to be solid instead of doughy. Did I mention the patates were really good? Sure is a popular place for groups of 4 or more. Also ordered the stuffed wine leaves- Delish!!! Never had them warmed with a sauce before. Delectable! Eggplant dip truly is a secret deliciousness. Omg! The pork tenderloin souvlaki- chef's kiss amazing Roasted lamb- mmm mmm mmmmmmm They were so sweet-I had to leave and ordered the fish. Well, the fish takes about 30minutes. I left early and paid for the fish. They felt I should experience the fish. So the next time I came in they gave me the fish on the house. It was even better than my mom's whole fish. I highly recommend it if you love whole fish.

A truly sensational experience that echoes of Athens Plaka tavernas and restaurants. Pantheon has an excellent menu with an emphasis on seafood along with traditional Greek dishes. The service was excellent, fast and entertaining. The atmosphere was authentically satisfying with both abundant indoor or outdoor seating. There are many Greek choices on Danforth. We were extremely pleased with choosing Pantheon.

Great spot on the danforth! I would suggest making reservations before hand. For apps, we got the fried saganaki cheese and fried calamari. The calamari came in thick rings and battered. There were some tentacle pieces. It was average. The fried saganaki was delicious as always but I wish it was a bigger portion! I ordered the grilled octopus salad. The grilled octopus was tender and nicely charred. It wasn't tough or chewy. It was made just right! The salad was a basic lettuce, tomatoes, olives, feta cheese salad. I was pretty full after. My friend got the lamb souvlaki dinner. It came with three big pieces of lamb souvlaki! Kinda dry and not juicy enough. The mixed meat plate was good w a bunch of sausage, chicken and lamb chops. Lamb chops were soft. The saganaki is also recommended. Almost every table ordered it! So awesome.

Food is great, service is excellent! My family and I drive 40 minutes for authentic Greek food when nothing else will do. Try the saginaki. Opa!

Terrific restaurant in the heart of Greek town. I highly recommend the Octopus's which was terrific. Our server was fantastic and his recommendations were all Spot on. Next time back in Toronto I will plan to visit as a highlight of my trip.

They place smelled, felt and looked dirty. But with the good reviews I tried it. Loved the feta dip and pita. Soup was ok too. Had the souvlaki dinner - rice were bland and clumpy (old rice clump up ) - salad- very greasy with orange oil and no cucumbers - chicken was good well but lacked

The best of the best. When I have friends in town this is where I take them for the best Greek food and drink. There is nothing commercial about this place. The food, the family who serve you with grace and pride, the quality.....! No where else have I tasted desserts that taste like Yiayia made in 1973. Pantheon serves food that looks beautiful, tastes amazing and has an energy of love in every plate as if the chef said a silent prayer of health and gratitude with every dish they plated. Cooking is one of the original forms of magic and medicine. This restaurant and the people who run it make their ancestors proud. Thank you for the food. Thank you for the love. Thank you for your service to our neighbourhood. You elevate East York with your presence.

Food is good but our issue was not with the food. One waiter (manager? white button down shirt) made an EXTREMELY rude and sexist comment to my friend who asked for bread for our saganaki, as we never received any with our order. He said "you want bread???" complete with an exaggerated hand gesture about growing a big belly. Our jaws dropped as this was literally the most sexist and rude thing we have ever experienced at a restaurant. It really ruined our meal and my friend burst into tears after he made this horrible remark shaming her, and really all three of us, in ordering some bread to come with our appetizer that we NEVER RECEIVED. For reference, we are 3 moms in our mid-30s. When our waiter finally came to our table, I told him he forgot our bread and that his colleague made an extremely rude and inappropriate remark, and he said he was joking. There was a total lack of ownership on the restaurant's part and they didn't offer us anything as a make good gesture. We will absolutely not be returning.

Delicious food, great service. Felt like we had lunch at a home. Lovely ambiance. They brought over cake to go with our espresso.

Went here last week, booked a reservation for 4 ahead of time. Started with some pita and hummus for the table, which was very well seasoned and creamy. Main course was the fried calamari thallasina entree, and it was fresh by Toronto standards. Steamed vegetables on the side were also very well done, and not an afterthought. Drank one of the Greek pilsners with my meal, which complimented the calimari well. This is Greektown, and the bar for fare here is high-- Pantheon is definitely an essential neighborhood restaurant. Make sure to book a reservation ahead of time, as it's very busy even on weekdays.

Love their food here, especially their lamb. The staff are nice and friendly. We had a baby with us and they were super accommodating with our troller situation even though the place is a bit narrow. Highly recommend. We are definitely going back!

Came here for my birthday. This restaurant is definitely family style, from the patrons the the home made quality of the food to the servers - you feel like you are walking into a family gathering and the food is made just for you! The vibe here is definitely for older people. About a quarter of the people here were 65+. My favourite by far was definitely the moussaka. It was freshly made and very filling. The tzatziki sauce tasted off - like it was processed and not made in house. The honey cake was pretty good. Would come back again for the moussaka. And maybe even the flaming cheese plate! I have yet to be graced by the owner(?)/manager(?) going "OPAAAAAAAA!!!" Wanted to keep things low key for my birthday this year so I opted out. Now that I've mentioned it, I wish I didn't...

Very nice experience in Greek Town, beautiful patio, flavorful taste and they give complimentary dessert which is a thoughtful touch to make customers happy. Highly recommended, i look forward to try their other items on the menu.

We tried their recommended/top selling dishes and we must say it was worth the price we paid. Dishes we tried -Charbroiled Lamb Chops -Sauteed Shrimp with garlic butter, and fresh tomato sauce topped with feta and melted saganaki cheese -Sauteed Feta Cheese and Hot Peppers Dip -Fried Calamari Prices: Appetizers ~$15, dips ~$7, entrees ~$20-27 Food and Atmosphere: We were really happy that we chose the fried calamari. The generous portion of calamari has a crispy outer layer and soft and tender interior. It isn't slimy, overwhelmingly greasy, or bland. Alongside the savory dip (which has a slight hint of spiciness), the two dishes made for two delectable appetizers. In terms of the mains, we've come to the conclusion that the shrimp is the better choice. The creamy and rich tomato sauce with mushrooms and melted saganaki cheese complimented the rice pilaf extremely well. Every bite did not disappoint and definitely surpassed our expectations. The roasted lemon potatoes and vegetables taste surprisingly delicious as well. The only negative aspect we'd comment on is the slightly overcooked shrimp (slightly rubbery). Because shrimp cooks very promptly, we think they made the common mistake of missing the golden window of tender shrimp. The lamb chops were less remarkable, however, it was still really delicious. We enjoyed the well-seasoned, fatty, and meaty flavor that the dish offered. We just think the shrimp is the preeminent choice. Pantheon is a fairly large restaurant with many Greek decorations. We were really thankful for the great Torontonian summer weather because we got to enjoy their good food on their patio. We also noticed that the service is surprisingly attentive and definitely worth tipping! We even got revani (Greek dessert) on the house. Conclusion: Google reviews gives Pantheon a 4.5/5. I don't go down to The Danforth as often as I used to and there are a few favourite places along the strip but the explorer in me wanted to try somewhere different. Pantheon has a very good rating on Yelp and I trust my fellow reviewers. Everything on the menu looked really good but I didn't see gyros, my favourite. No problem, lots of other choices. We looked around at other tables and everything looked and smelled good. Generous portions! My friend and I settled on the Roast Lamb and Grilled Quails, with some red caviar to start. We agreed to share since we really had trouble narrowing it down to just these dishes. The caviar was creamy and delicious, first time my friend was having it. The quail was really good, well seasoned. The lamb wasn't exactly what we were expecting although it matched the description on the menu. For some reason, we pictured in our minds, something on the bone, maybe with some grill marks. That's lamb chops! We ordered slow roasted lamb and that's exactly what we got. It tasted good! Even the potatoes and veggies had a lot of flavour. We were presented with a complimentary dessert of honey cake. It was good but the texture was a little coarse for my liking and very sweet. There was a bit of an old-school quality to our dining experience, with murals of Greek Gods and ruins on the walls, and furniture that seemed a little dated but it was also enjoyable. Good food.

I went to Pantheon on the first day of Taste of the Danforth. I was craving greek food Taste of the Danforth just kicking off (what perfect timing!) so my girlfriend and I decided to check it out. It was just the beginning of TOTD (Taste of the Danforth) so the streets weren't too busy yet. We were immediately greeted by the nice hostess who showed us to our seats. I was hoping to have a gyro souvlaki dinner, however that is one meal they did not have. I settled for the chicken souvlaki and my girlfriend had the pork tenderloin. We also got an the assorted dips (which came with warm pitas) as an appetizer - it was pretty good. As far as the food went, the meals were sort of lack luster. I wish they had added more rice because there was more chicken than rice. I personally thought that they should have the right balance of meat to rice ratio. That being said, the chicken and pork tenderloin tasted great. Also, while the hostess was nice, our waiter wasn't that friendly. Overall, our experience here was okay. I would give it 3.5 stars.

Came here on a Saturday was busy but still a few tables available. Waiter was very nice. Offered suggestions on what to order. We went with his recommendations of grilled calamari and the lamb. We also ordered the pork souvlaki. To start, they brought us a plate of various spreads/ dips with some bread. The dips were quite good. The service and food were good. The portions were a fair size so we didn't order any dessert. The Waiter brought us a complimentary slice of honey cake to share. We only had a couple of bites we really were too full. All in all was a good experience. Nice atmosphere with friendly prompt service.

I actually grew up on the Danforth and while I had seen this place around for decades, for some strange reason, I had never tried it out. If I really think about this though, I'd say that it's probably because they are a bit pricier than other similar places in the area and it wasn't until my adulthood that the price was less of an issue for me. Funny I say that because it's still the price that knocks a star off my rating, otherwise I'd have given the place 4 stars. Most importantly, the food is good here. They have a wider range of options than other places and the quality is a bit better, but again, the prices don't quite justify the slightly higher quality. I don't mind paying more for quality, but I like the extra cost to be relative to the added value. All that being said, you will not go wrong at Pantheon and it is a testament to their quality that they have survived for so many decades. Cheers and enjoy!

Whenever I am visiting Toronto, I always make time to eat at this family Greek restaurant that has always made me feel at home. The food is magically delicious and I have tried the grilled sea bass, octopus and squid dinners. The vibrant colors of the food and the fresh flavors have allowed my sense of taste to dance within my mouth. This place is a Toronto landmark for delicious Greek food.

Very formal seating and beautiful atmosphere. Server was very knowledgeable and sweet. Bread is complementary. Got an order of the spanakopita, which comes in three massive pieces. They were absolutely delicious; easily the best spanakopita I have ever had. The spinach was fresh and the filo dough was light and crispy. Also ordered the chicken souvlaki large; the lamb souvlaki, the roast lamb, the beeftekia, and the orange roughy fillet. Every single entree was amazing; the meat was full of flavor and the fish was light and well seasoned. The tzatziki sauce was so creamy and had a hint of garlic. The rice and potatoes that came with each dish were also delicious and went well with the dish. One of the best Greek restaurants I have ever had. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in town and in the mood for Greek food!

Love this place, first time coming here was 2 years ago was with my boyfriend and we loved it and have been wanting to come back. So glad to see that they have strived through the pandemic and are still here serving delicious food. We ordered from Uber eats recently and was not disappointed. Still the same quality and great taste. Ordered the hot combo. The spanokopitas are so good and seafood is cooked perfectly. The hot combo can definitelty feed 3 people as we were left with extra. Also comes with a free honey cake when you order $40 or more on Uber eats, which was delicious and not too sweet. Definitely recommended this place and will be coming back!

Same great service after all these years. Family run, always busy. The price on the menu however had definitely gone up astronomically. We had to wait outside. It was Saturday night around 9pm. We were told it would be a 5 to 20 min wait. But it was 35 before we saw the inside of the restaurant. I rated 3 stars from my recent visit, mostly because of the saganaki. It's about 17 dollars on the menu but it does not taste as good .. comparing to when it was 10. The chicken souvlaki used to be 12, you can compare the current price yourself. I just feel the quality of the food and the price are travelling in the inverse direction. What a disappointment! We didn't take them up on it but we were offered free dessert after our meal.

I've been to Patheon a few times now and this is go-to place for dine-in Greek food. The service staff are always friendly and good is excellent. We have tried Spanokopita, Patata, Fried Eggplant and Greek Salad - all of them made perfectly. Saginaka is a must try, keep your camera's ready when it arrives! For desserts do try honey cake, which is made in-house to perfection!

Enjoyed this a lot. Good quality Greek food. Popular spot for this cuisine and it took me time to check it out. Greek salad and carrot cake were better than I expected. The chicken souvlaki was great. Potato's slightly on the salty side but that's me being very picky. If you're craving Greek food you won't go wrong with this place. They've been around for a while and know they're doing. Proper 8/10 for me.

Lots of 4 and 5 star reviews and I won't go against the grain. This place was recommended by a Greek colleague so he knows what he's talking about. The place is super old school with murals of the Greek gods and maps of Greece. Like the place you went to back in the day for giant Souvlaki and pieces of Baklava. My girlfriend and I split the $40 appetizer plate which includes calamari ( we got fried, not grilled) , octopus, dolmades, Greek sausage , spaniokopita and roast potatoes. We finished the whole plate. No leftovers here. We were kinda surprised the waiter kept offering us cake. We didn't know it was free! Next time. I'd come back, maybe with a big group so you can get lots of appetizers and the flaming cheese!

We had a great time here. The decor is a bit kitschy but fun. Our server was super friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. From reviews and the waiter's recommendation, I knew I wanted to try the sea bream, and it was lovely. Light and cooked to perfection, there's enough to share between two people, if I was the sharing type. We also had the saganaki, which comes with a side of "opa!" and a little jig. We were given three dips (hummus, caviar, and spicy feta), which were a nice, delicious welcome. And then we were given two free honey cakes. "Is it someone's birthday? Are you sure? Is yours close? Close enough!" Thanks for the hospitality! We'll be back for sure.

The environment in Pantheon is incredible, with frequent theatrics of fire and a loving staff. The food is good too! Definitely recommend this place.

Very nice! Sparkling clean with polite staff. I had calamari and it was by far the best I've had on Danforth. I have tried both Soulos and Mezes on Danforth and Pantheon was much better! I would definitely go back for more!
