The 11 Best Miami Coffee Shops & Cafes

"There are six Panther Coffee locations around Miami, but there are only two we like for actually getting work done: the Little Haiti and Sunset Harbour locations. We like Little Haiti best, because it’s big and usually not too busy. Sunset Harbour can certainly get more crowded, but they’ve got a lot of seating—including a long communal table with plenty of power outlets in the center. The cold brew is strong enough to make you productive at either location, even if the person next to you is having a very loud conversation about a celebrity they went on a date with." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

Panther Coffee Little Haiti Review - Little Haiti - Miami - The Infatuation

"Panther Little Haiti is another location of the popular Miami coffee chain. This shop is a tad bigger than the rest, which makes it a great place to get some work done. You can also watch the Panther team roast beans behind a glass wall while you sip the fruits of their labor." - Ryan Pfeffer

Panther Coffee MiMo Review - MiMo - Miami - The Infatuation

"Panther is Miami’s best-known coffee shop and they have locations in Wynwood, Coconut Grove, Little Haiti, and South Beach. The MiMo location is a cute little shop that’s great for a quick cup of coffee or sitting down to get some work done. Don’t leave without an almond croissant - if there are any left." - Ryan Pfeffer

Google
Recently was in town for work and decided to try this spot out. Did not disappoint. I purchased abag full of croissants and a Americano. Wished I would have bought a bag of coffee also because the Americano was superb! If I’m ever back in the area. I will definitely be stopping in again. Check this place out if you have time. Also the windows that you can watch them roast coffee was an added bonus! Really cool spot. 10/10

The menu has changed in the past 6 months and new food items were added to the menu. When I asked the barista at the drive-thru window about them, he couldn’t care less about describing the new items to me. When I requested RAW sugar for my coffee, he gave me stevia packets and quickly closed the window before I could say anything and walked away. My mother and I were dumbfounded and she got out of the car and walked into the restaurant to ask for the correct sugar packets. Overall we got the impression that the barista did not care one bit about customer service. I paid $22 just for two small sausage and egg sandwiches that were reheated, and the bread was rock hard. We also ordered two coffees and that was delicious, but I learned my lesson and will never order food from there again.

Google
The iced vanilla cold cream latte is so freaking good. The guy who made it was so kind and patient even though I was late to pick up my order. They carry good Olipop flavors. The spicy lentil thing was tasty. Great prices, nice place. Made my sucktastic commute home in traffic actually kinda dope. I’m just hanging out, eating my snacks and drinking this awesome coffee.

Google
Went to this place as it was the closest panther we had. The place looks just normal from the outside but to our surprise there was very cool and chill inside. The display was good and also the glasses through which you can see the lab and roastery. The coffee was on point, very creamy i had a latte, then i had cortado (only thing they sell it under another form like coffee with milk and you decide the size).

Google
I started coming to this Panther Coffee in April after recent Return to Office policies left me needing a coffee fix close to my job, and it's quickly become the highlight of my work week. I'm not here every day, but at least once or twice a week, and every time I've been attended by Aurora, who always welcomes me with a smile and a perfectly crafted cold brew. I really appreciate how consistent the coffee here is, too! I'm really shy and hate asking for extra sugar/cream, but somehow, they make it just right here every time so I never need to tweak the coffee. The color/opacity is always just right... IYKYK. I tested out the drive-thru window recently and I was scared since it isn't your typical drive-thru set up, but I can confirm that it works like a charm whenever you're in a time crunch and don't have time to get out of your car or search for parking nearby. Thank you Aurora for being an amazing barista and thank you to the Panther Coffee team for creating the perfect calm oasis for a midday break. And don't forget to tip your baristas, people! ;)

Google
Best spot to have Coffee in Little Haiti. I had a Matcha Latte with oat milk (cold) and it was so delicious!!! The Baristas and the entire staff were lovely. The place was spotless and they even have their own coffee roast lab!!! it was so cool to be able to see how they roast their own coffee! Great coffee experience! Thank you Panther!!

Google
My good friend invited me last minute to have a coffee and so because I'd already eaten I only had the chai iced cold drink. It was soooooo good! Definitely better than your standard Starbucks without the price of course 👌🏾 I'd like to actually try the pastries next time bc it did look really appetizing!

Google
The staff is friendly and the lattes are great! Been a fan of Panther Coffee for years, but hadn't made it to this location until now I tried two seasonal drinks, a pink rose latte and a rosemary maple latte, both were fantastic!

Yelp
It's a must-stop for coffee, whether you're a local or just visiting Miami. The atmosphere is cool and inviting. You can even see the beans being roasted in the back, which adds a unique atmosphere. If you're lucky, as you walk toward the store while they're roasting, the smell is incredible, rich, almost like chocolate. The drip coffee and other specialty brews are spot-on, made with care by people who know and love their craft. It's the place that quickly becomes part of your weekly routine.

Yelp
We were looking for coffee roasters in south Florida and found this location of Panther coffee. We actually came across the Panther brand at Whole Foods and it was real nice. This location is cool, so many things to look at. Someone was actively roasting while we were there in the morning. We loved the quiche and my latte was lovely. Staff was friendly and answered our questions. Cool place!

Yelp
Local coffee shop with strong beans Perfect place to sit and work or just drive through for a cup of joe! They have a full factory in the back that you can look into a see the process

Yelp
i didn't like the drip coffee. i asked the server that was originally from NY if i could change it. she offered a latte with there homemade agave . it was delicious. Cookies are delcious.

Yelp
Wow, I was so impressed by this little coffee shop. I have visited the Wynwood location in the past but stopped in here on the way home from work to grab some bags of coffee beans as Christmas presents and was very impressed. The shop smells incredible and you can even see the "coffee lab" where they are perfecting their product. This place is a little oasis in the neighborhood, for sure! The ladies working behind the counter were unbelievably helpful and kind. I asked for recommendations about which coffee beans would be best for making cold brew and they gave me a sincere response rather than trying to upsell me on the most expensive beans. All of the food looked incredible and I will definitely be grabbing a pastry on my next visit! Much to my surprise, my purchase of two bags of coffee beans came with two free coffee drinks. I got the nitro cold brew and the nitro vanilla bean cold brew, both of which were incredible. If you haven't had a chance to stop by yet, add it to your Little Haiti bucket list!

Yelp
This is probably my favorite panther because the staff is so nice, there's free parking, and enough outlets to go around.

Giulia C.

Yelp
I always say last time but this time I mean it lol. The first time I said that it was because I spent 20$ for 2 coffees and waited like 15 minutes in the drive through but now not only did I get reminded of the ridiculous prices but of the poor service as well. 10$ for an iced matcha that isn't even mixed well (powder in the bottom) with people who can't even give you a smile and give you attitude if you ask for napkins. Big smh
google avatar

Jeff G.

Yelp
This is my go-to spot when picking up fresh beans, roasted on-site and away from the Wynwood crowds, quietly nestled in Little Haiti. It's a convenient location that even has a drive-thru window, the free drink with purchase of a 1lb bag is also a nice touch. Great Latte art
google avatar

Shelby V.

Yelp
Nice location in Little Haiti with an outdoor seating area and a dog bowl for the babes. I ended up getting macadamia milk (they also had oat and soy) off the recommendation from the barista. You can peek into the coffee lab where the roasting takes place. There were food and pastry options although I didn't indulge this time, I'd absolutely go back. Parking was easy the off hours time I was there and there was wifi and many places for people to sit and get work done. It was quiet when I was there so seemed like an excellent place to be productive. I sat outside and the dogs were able to roam in the gated area up front.

Yelp
Coffee was next level. The breakfast burrito was disappointing though. It was pretty small. Service was good. Atmosphere was really nice and it has plenty of parking. The roasting room on display was a nice touch. Felt like a true artisan shop.
google avatar

Arnaldo Z.

Yelp
Waited 10 minutes outside the drive through windown, only car there. Never got a hello or anything, left without making contact with anyone. Staffing issues, not acceptable, you lose costumers when no one is there to take care of you.
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was a fairly quiet spot for me to work from while visiting family
google avatar

Yelp
Went yesterday morning and had an iced honey lavender latte which was really good! The staff was super nice and it was a great place for me to get some work done. I loved that there was a big coworking table that allowed me to spread out a little bit more than at the small tables. It was mostly quiet and there was music playing in the background which was nice! Overall it was a great coffee spot and study spot at the same time!

Yelp
Great place. Little coffee shop not far from I95 and it has a nice outdoor seating area. Always great coffee and even better service.

Yelp
Cool outpost of a chain that often suffers from the hipper-than-thou, fake-tortured-artist syndrome. This one, in a stretch of Little Haiti that's rapidly gentrifying, is remarkably chilled out compared to most of their other locations, especially the Wynwood one. The staff was remarkably nice, letting me eat food purchased elsewhere with my Earl Gray tea (but they banished me to the outside tables LOL). In general the staff at this Panthers is much much less attitudinal than the other ones I've tried. I didn't find myself once thinking during my order (as sometimes happens at Panthers, Starbucks, Dr Smood et al) "wow 7-11 has better coffee at 1/5 the price, if they just had seating and wifi, Mr/Ms Attitudinal Barista, you'd be out of business" These folks were genuinely friendly and sweet. The location is pretty great too. It's remarkably uncrowded and casual. The outdoor seating is right by a cool stretch of NW Second Ave in Little Haiti. The look and feel is Wynwood 10 years ago (before it got overrun and too fashionable for its own good). You can see 10-story condo towers going up in all directions, but then again even the churches have bars on the windows.

Yelp
Really great coffee and nice, quiet location. You can do drive up ordering, takeaway or dine in right now. I got the batch brew which macadamia milk and my partner got their seasonal nitro cold brew (a little pricey at $8!) Which came with oat milk, vanilla, honey and cinnamon. Both drinks were delicious and so smooth. The nitro cold brew was a little pricey for just a 12oz and definitely on the sweeter side which was good for my partner.

Yelp
This location is about 10 minutes from Miami airport. I've been to Panther Coffee in Wynwood before, and was really craving their matcha latte. Glad this location in little Haiti was on my way to the airport. The drink was amazing and I love how nicely blended it was until the last sip. Shame on me for getting the mini cupcake. I didn't realize that their food items are double the price of most bakeries. Um but I won't lie, that lavender cupcake was amazing. Can I have like 5 of those?! They have comfy seating inside and some benches outside. This location is smaller than Wynwood one, and less busy. Overall, prefect place to stop, if you love quality in your coffee/latte/matcha etc drinks. Side Note- They have a side parking lot for about 5-6 vehicles and I was able to find parking. Also there is street parking.

Yelp
After hearing people rave about Panther Coffee, I decided to give this location a try. Although the interior is nice, the staff is friendly, the drinks are overpriced and average. I went during the evening on a weekday to get some computer/paper work done, and ordered a matcha latte. The cafe was relatively empty, and the worker was able to take my order and make the drink within minutes. Specifically, the matcha latte was very rich with matcha flavor. However, it is similar to any other matte latte at any local cafe (obviously better than something from starbucks). However, my biggest issue is the price; my drink came out to around $6, which at certain restaurants in this city, can get you a full meal. Moreover, the tables and desks that can sit larger parties do not have outlets attached, making it hard to collaborate with a group, if you need to charge your laptop. Nonetheless, the cafe is super clean and quiet. So, if you're the type to sit at a cafe for hours, Panther may be a good choice for you.

Yelp
I was so excited to try the chai tea from Panther Coffee. This is a drive-through, limited parking kind of place. The employees were nice and fast .lots of coffee options on their menu. However, the Chi team was more like chai water. Definitely feeling like I wasted $15 on water down(2x) chai tea. Hopefully the other things in their menu tastes better than what I ordered. Give them a try. Don't let my review discourage you from trying this place . Maybe chai tea is not their speciality. That was just my experience.

Yelp
i looove trying new coffee spots, i'm visiting from tampa so i thought i'd try this place out. the coffee was amazing! i'm a bit of a snob when it comes to my espresso... so i'm pretty impressed. the service was amazing as well!!! i love the store set up, it's so cute and i love how you can see all the behind the scenes! super cute and will definitely come back next time i'm in miami :))

Yelp
I loved the empanadas here! I didn't like my latte but it's ok. Service was good. It was bigger inside than I expected. I don't know where to park though. I walked there
google avatar

Yelp
Stupid me that leaves the house without a shot of caffeine to make it through the day. On my drive came upon Panther coffee in Little Haiti. Drank a 12 oz of the Finca San Antonio Chicharras coffee from Mexico. It's coffee from the Chiapas Indians in the mountains of Southeastern Mexico. The coffee is very smooth tasting with some bitter notes in the back end but I loved it and it took care of my caffeine craving in the end which is really a small headache every time I feel that I haven't had that good tasting coffee lol. Enjoy!!

Yelp
I have been frequenting this coffee shop. The space is perfect for working on your computer. The coffee is always good and the service is awesome. Big shout out to Raisa for always greeting me and taking care of me! I come back for the friendliness. Also another barista whose name I don't know is always friendly and taking care of me. They literally know what I want to drink already.
google avatar

Yelp
always satisfying, great taste, warm cozy ambiance, helping to gentrify the neighborhood
google avatar

Yelp
I honestly like this panther a lot more than the one at wynnwood because of the parking and honestly the barista here are much more consistent. Wynnwood is hit and miss, you can get a good barista or someone that just burnt your latte. Soy latte is $7.50 a cup after only $1.00 of tips. I like consistent barista who always delivers great latte for me.

Esau M.

Yelp
Vibe was vibin, slid through after church at Vous and came with my Lady & my friend from out of town to wait on our Uber they're coffee drinkers I'm not but I'm a fan of the service and the drink surprisingly

Yelp
Today I had an interesting customer experience. I decided to order the hot turmeric latte. I have had Turmeric lattes before, but never here at Panther, so this was a first for that drink here. I should have just stuck to their stellar hot Matcha Latte and saved myself the disappointment of the drink and my experience. I asked for a little extra pepper sprinkled on top (like I do at all the other places I've drank it) and the guy taking my order was very straight-faced, cut & dry, and just said, "we don't have pepper, we are not a restaurant." I was like, "oh, ok." He felt very standoffish. I very friendly-like talked about how the pepper activates the turmeric's health properties, just as conversation, not asking for any pepper, since he already told me they didn't have any. The barista, dry faced, like he was ready for an argument or trying to quell a nonexistent argument (more accurate) said, "We don't have pepper," fully ignoring my friendly talk at the payment counter. He definitely did NOT seem friendly, but the moment I said ok and walked away, he was having just the grandest, most happy chat with another customer, like he flipped a "bad attitude" switch on, just for me. Maybe he judged me and decided on a preset attitude about me? I don't know, but all I wanted was a friendly face and a freaking hot drink to start my nice day. I didn't get that at all. Why should I come back? Their's plenty of other options. And this wasn't it Chief. My least review had 3 stars before, but now I'm dropping another star. Arrogance towards customers is unnecessary and a No-no, especially even moreso when it is UNWARRANTED. I usually give a place a couple chances. Many people have had great experiences here, why haven't I? My patience with this place is running out fast. People work hard for their money and get to decide where it is spent; bad attitudes lose customers, so leave the arrogance at the door before work, please. As for the Turmeric Latte it was, meh. Go to Sabal Coffee, they make it fantastically.
google avatar

Stephanie Michelle P.

Yelp
They say never say never, buuuut Panther never fails me. The coffee is consistent and delicious. My favorite is the nitro cold brew. Add some light cream and vanilla and you got yourself an even mo' better coffee ;P You'll thank me later!
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
very well balanced matcha drink, friendly staff and also open early. I found the drive thru a little narrow but other than that quick service.
google avatar

Gustavo L.

Yelp
This is a great coffee place, no doubt about it. The area is very nice, outside sitting is great, the people in general bring their dogs and chill for a while. I will surely come back for more coffee. Same vibe as a starbucks, but better coffee. Ps. $46 for three coffees and three sandwiches is a bit steep. Specially when coffee is all fresh, but sandwiches are frozen.

Mateo N.

Yelp
The good days of Panther are long gone. Paid near $40 for two small coffees, a pastry and a burrito and all were straight up bad except for the regular coffee. The "scrambled" eggs in the burrito were spongy like they had been microwaved or made from a pre-made mix. Not to mention, the burrito was tiny, about fist-sized. The lavender latte was drowned in sugar and essentially undrinkable. I want to support a local Miami business, but feel ripped off when I'm being given little quantity or quality for such a high price. Maybe Panther has outgrown its craft coffeeshop vibe. There are many other great coffeeshops in Miami that could use your money and will deliver better food and coffee.

Sebastian L.

Yelp
I live nearby this Panther Coffee location, and while I really enjoy the coffee, today's visit will be my absolute last visit to any Panther Coffee location. Except for one person that works there, everyone has been rude to me every single time I have gone which is about once a month. I always tell myself to not go back but somehow I end up there, and I always have a bad interaction with the workers there. Today when I walked in, there were three people behind the counter, they just looked at me as I walked through the door, and kept talking to each other. They never said "hello", or "welcome", or acknowledge me in any way. I must mention that I was the ONLY customer in the store. The server that took my order couldn't have been more annoyed by me interrupting the conversation they were having with the other workers. I ordered a mushroom and onion empanada, a beef puff pastry, and a latte. The person that took my order proceeded to heat the food, and instead of having someone else make my drink while the food was being heated, they all just went back to their conversation. I was in a bit of a rush so I found it very frustrating that they couldn't stop talking to make my order. It honestly feels like they are trained to be rude to customers. It already is a very expensive coffee shop and while I don't expect much from the service at any Miami establishment, it would be nice to be at least treated with respect. It's really a shame because the coffee is absolutely great and I love the fact that Miami has a place this good for coffee. But I've had enough of the attitude and rudeness of the people that work there. If being treated badly by a barista is not a concern to you and you don't mind being overcharged definitely check this place out. But for me, this is the last time I ever set foot in a Panther Coffee.
google avatar

Yelp
I love panther coffee , I have been drinking it for 9yrs ! However the service is 80% of the time really rude . And I know that's the stereotype for baristas , however it doesn't feel good. It's almost as if they are doing you a favor and they are annoyed about it . I have slowly over the last few years been going less and less only because of the service. I will forever go , here and there because I do love their coffee. * I feel this way about all of their locations that I have been to (wynwood , the one by legion park, and the grove ) perhaps the other locations are better ....
google avatar

Yelp
I would say that I'm a coffee expert. After all, I come from a background of cafecultores in the Caribbean. For a third wave coffee house with deep roots in Miami, it's very sad to see such terrible service and baristas with little passion for coffee. I've gone to this location (as it's near my work and home) as well as Wynwood and Mimo and it's the same. 1. The baristas always give you attitude or just ignore you 2. They don't know anything about the beans or roast type 3. They can't pull shots. I've never have a good crema on my expresó and they come out sour and over extracted. 4. The overall atmosphere of the stores is Miami Hipster Duche. My suggestions - visit blue bottle or deco coffee and don't support a store that clearly cares little about their customer service and the product they are providing . For management - 1. Train your baristas on how to pull a shot, steam milk and make late art. You guys are way behind. 2. Work on customer service! Just my two cents, who knows maybe I'm wrong.

Yelp
Unexpected location for this tiny little coffee house located around the corner from Miami Jackson Senior High in Little Haiti off of the NW 62nd Street exit on I-95. I've heard about Black Panther Coffee but never stopped by one before. I'm also not big on coffee, either. So I asked the kind barrista to recommend something sweet that I might like and she explained to me what a Chai tea was and also recommended a vanilla latte for my husband. We were pleased with her suggestions. I really enjoyed my first Chai tea experience. They also have a perks reward system that you can auto enroll into when you pay by card.
google avatar

Celeste M.

Yelp
Panther coffee is Miami's craft coffee. I enjoy all the locations, and receive amazing service too (a rare Miami quality)- they hire people who care. With the new drive thru in Little Haiti, you're a game changer. Thank you for doing that.
google avatar

Artur G.

Yelp
I've always liked this place but today's fantastic experience really necessitated a five star review. The coffee here is amazing, like other places, but at this location it's about the craft as much as the coffee. Today they used a different part of the bean and creates a cold brew coffee juice like drink - that's one classy cup of joe. On top it, a talented barista named Ken went above and beyond because an ingredient had just ran out. Two thumbs up and Enjoy!
google avatar

Shirley G.

Yelp
I love this place! It's my go to study spot and the much calmer location than the one in Wynwood. They have great coffee and their matcha is to die for. I especially love how this location is set up. You get to choose to sit either at bar seating, a big table, or smaller lower tables. There's plenty of outlets. If you get too cold, you can go outside and sit by these stone tables/seats to warm up. There's limited parking but I haven't had trouble so far. If anything there's street parking around and the area isn't too busy. I've only ever interacted with one of the guys here so far and he's very nice and chill! Definitely check it out if you want a good place to do work or if you just want to drink coffee and relax without that bustling environment.
google avatar

Alexis T.

Yelp
This new location doesn't have much to see around it but they do have great coffee. Tried a pour over of the Finca La Amistad.
google avatar

Monica D.

Yelp
If you want to watch how coffee beans are prepared for grinding and taste carefully crafted lattes, matcha lattes, teas, espressos, etc., then you have to visit Panther Coffee in it's Little Haiti location. This is a comfortable place to hang out for a bit and learn about the art of making coffee. Panther's baristas are artists and take extra care in making sure that every cup of coffee they serve is perfect in all aspects.
google avatar

Armando F.

Yelp
Guys you need to fix the edges on your tables asap. I was there yesterday and got a huge gash on my knee thanks to the genius who chose to add sharp edges to the tables where people sit at. Come on. Such a stupid design flaw on your beautiful coffee shop. Its been over 36 hours and my knee is still killing me. Not cool.

Chris E.

Yelp
A cold brew will cost you about $8. It's alright but not worth near that. They also include tip, which would be fine if the price of the drinks were reasonable. Instead the drink is expensive and instead of paying their people better, they pass along more cost to the customer. Support local businesses is an empty mantra if those businesses aren't actually paying their people well and simultaneously, blindly gentrifying neighborhoods in Miami. Dunkin Donuts now has nitro and cold brew.

Yelp
IN DEFENSE OF PANTHER.... ..There was a laughable review of Panther I noticed. It questioned why Panther doesnt offer Cafe Cubano. The author of the question clearly has absolutely zero knowledge of the differences & intricacies of an SOE or V60 and a Cafe Cubano. In terms even the author of that review can relate to, a late model Porsche 932 twin turbo AND a 1986 Chrysler Cordova with no A/C, cassette deck, and bad transmission are both cars. Panther sources extremely high quality coffee, roasts it, then cups (experiments) several times in identifying best water temp (202-205), best ratio 17-18-19 / 350.... A cafe cubano consists of any coffee available, sugar & hot water. The 3 drops of mediocre coffee mixed with lots of azucar make a gelatinous goo that the 8 month old coffee from Sedanos is mixed with. Dont believe me....?... get to any greasy spoon in Hialeah, ask: "Oyeme Acede, dame una colada mijo" and watch Escudio or Jusmari execute his plan, using coffee that was roasted in 2018. Still dont believe me...?.... find a place using an Ethiopian Gesha for their coladas. In review: A Porsche 932 twin turbo is & never will be a 1986 Chrysler Cordova. I wemt to this place today, it was my 326th coffee place in the US and suggest, for anyone confused as to why Panther doesnt do cafe cunanos, you may want to stop going there and walk into Starbucks, waltz the counter and ask Chet, Biff, Alexa, or whoever the Barista extraordinaire is; "Gimmy one-a-does Expressos with lots-a sugar"

Yelp
Let me tell you, Panther Coffee - Little Haiti is definitely rather darn cool. Good energy across the board. Really tasty and healthy. Workers are extremely friendly and service is very quick. Must try: every thing.

Yelp
The barista was really nice and her coffee was on point as well! Spacious, quiet, nice and clean one. Modern and this is the type of coffee shop that I'd like to chill and spend some time at.

Yelp
Just had Panthers new toast for lunch and was not disappointed! They have three options but I tried their "chicken salad" and was blown away! Amazing flavor and so filling. I highly recommend it

Yelp
Great coffee and space but...is there any reason why they play creepy screamo music here? Legit one of the tracks they play had a woman creepily laughing for 20 seconds straight at the end. I'm just trying to enjoy my coffee and get some work done lol. Who is in charge of the music selection?? Because I'd really like to talk to you and ask you rethink your clientele's music taste.

Yelp
This panther coffee is a good, big location with good parking, perfect for getting work done! Service is generally good and coffee is pretty tasted. Downside is that it's on the pricey side, and food options are very slim!

Yelp
Take a stop by this place! The oat milk latte and ham and cheese croissant were amazing. They were so helpful and made everything with care. Our group was not disappointed!
