Yelp
Stopped in on a steamy Friday afternoon for some legit Texas BBQ and a couple of Legit. Texas. Lagers. It was the best BBQ I have had in ages! I can't wait to visit again... until then I'll see you in my dreams.

Yelp
Popped in before the Friday after work crowd hit. Chill vibe with outstanding service. The Road Trip Snacks Brown Ale was superb. Even better was my Avocado Burger from their food truck Smoke and Bone. Ross, the owner, was extremely likable and I now understand why their avocado burger which I devoured won the Fort Worth 2024 burger showdown - it was spectacular.

Yelp
Super chill brewery with eats brought to you by Smoke & Bone. The brews were delish (the Pilsner) and they were even selling $4 six pack ales! The food was a huge plus. You order right outside at the Smoke & Bone BBQ - they are so delicious and sooo friendly! Ordered the Brisket & Egg sandwich and Chipotle Chicken sammich with the brisket Mac & cheese (with jalapeño) great smoke & great flavor! They have love music on Saturday afternoons, a bit off the beaten path loved it but parking was easy and you can walk to panther pavilion from here do you happen to be seeing a show!

Yelp
This is a great venue with the friendly staff. We really enjoyed their beer, atmosphere, friendly staff, and knowledgeable soundman! The manager was wonderful to work with and had prompt communication.

Yelp
Brewery with a relaxed vibe. Tien was very helpful and nice helping me find the beer I was looking for. The brewery has games, photo walls, projector screen, reading book shelf and merch section to offer.

Yelp
I enjoyed going here on a date night with my husband. This location has great music, affordable drinks, and cool games that you can play with friends. I enjoyed how the tvs were set up, this location is great for watching sporting events. The only thing I didn't care for was the parking, so if you go, try to go early to get a good parking spot.

Yelp
Just good beers in an unassuming spot with friendly bar staff, would absolutely highly recommend!

Yelp
Something about this brewery that I love. Then don't officially sell food, but they usually have a truck outside. It's further from other things so I enjoy that. Easy parking. You order at the bar and it's never insanely overcrowded. Lots of games to play. It's in a big open warehouse with a huge variety of beers and a few other beverages. Love it for a Saturday afternoon!

Yelp
Went there Tuesday evening around 9 and it was mostly empty. Ordered a round of beer for six of us. Beer was just ok. As we were drinking our beer and listening to the singer a young boy came on between singers and basically told everyone in the place to leave. I thought the mom would scold him for it, but he kept saying it. Then said you must leave or you will die. Must have said it a dozen times. Went to Cowtown and the place was packed for Trivia night. Beer was great and the staff was super friendly. Go to Cowtown if you are there for an after dinner brew.

Yelp
The vibe, the atmosphere is awesome. The beer was good and cold. I love how the workers were so friendly and talkative about the brews. I would highly recommend this brewery, very kid and dog friendly.

Yelp
Been here a few times, great place to grab a beer and a snack (food trucks)! The garage doors make it really nice in the spring. There is always an interesting selection of beer ranging from crowd pleasing ales to more unique flavors and infusions. This time around, my friend had the Mexican lager and I ordered the raspberry stout, both were great! (That stout was 12% , delicious but not for the faint of heart).

Yelp
This is such a great place, open/outdoor vibes. The owner is so kind. Out of all the breweries this is the most comfortable with the most options. 10/10 recommend

Yelp
Place is pretty cool, beers are great, and food is delish! Only thing is every time I go I always get bartended by this older chubbier guy, always a bit passive for some reason- my first time going I wasn't sure what to get, he kind of talked to me like I was an idiot. But nonetheless this place is still great! Def recommend this brewery and Cowtown.

Yelp
Lovely location to enjoy local brews. Easy access, and hip vibes inside. Plenty of space, but still feels cozy and friendly. Several styles of creative beers done pretty well. No food, but often have trucks, etc. Definitely worth checking out. Drink local!

Yelp
Love going to this place just north of downtown. Always great staff and the beer is amazing. Love the Allergeez and the peach variation when in season. Will definitely go back.

Yelp
one of the best bbqs i've ever been to !! the meat falls off right off the bone and don't even get me started on the brisket !! mac and cheese is a must as well !!! cutesy little brewery family owned and you feel like family here the owners are very sweet and welcoming
google avatar

Yelp
The bar sits inside the brewery. Beer taps along the wall. Have a great conversation with the bartender. Bought glassware.

Yelp
I love their Allergeez wheat beer and Trinity cider. Staff is always super friendly and will let you try as many beers as you want. Great place to hang with your favorite pooch! They also have some great food trucks that stop by for lunch and supper!

Yelp
I'm from Ft Worth but I haven't lived here in ages. But I'd seen this brewery on a previous trip to town and wanted very much to visit, hang out and enjoy some great beer and then maybe take some with me. However, last time I was in town, I had to leave before the weekend and they're only open on Friday night and Sunday. So, I made sure to be in town for a weekend on my latest trip. My son-in-law is a great beer aficionado and very smart knowledgable about all things beer. So, I was excited to take him to Panther Island for a visit to find out about great Texas folks and local beer. The place looks great. There's plenty of parking and the guy on the golf cart is super friendly and that's such a great service. There are plenty of places to sit or lean on a tall table to enjoy the beers. Sadly, the chairs and couches I sat on were pretty low and/or wobbly and the tall table was in serious need of a shim as it kept rocking back and forth. Listen, all that is not so bad. I mean, come on, its a brewery. The reason I am only giving 3 stars is mostly due to the snarly assed bartender (owner?) at the bar. We were trying to make conversation (it wasn't busy at the time) and asked about the weird hours. He snapped at us that he's busy making beer most of the time and only takes a break twice a week to open the brewery for tasting. You know, there's a way to explain that without all the damn attitude. As for the beer, it is good. The atmosphere (other than the jerk at the bar) was pretty good, but not exceptional. I really enjoy visiting breweries, but I doubt I'll go back to this one. There's plenty of other places I'd rather go where they understand being decent to the customers.

Yelp
I believe this is a new brewery in Forth Worth. It's probably 30 minutes away from us. It was $10.00 for five different beers of your choice. We thought that was a good deal. We had to park far, but the awesome part was they had someone on a golf cart picking and dropping you off. The bartenders were ALL so friendly. The brewery was large with games, seating and best of all a food truck. I liked what the food truck was offering that night. It was delicious!! This place is cool and we will be back because the beers were tasty!!

Yelp
I love going to Panther Island Brewing. I've been going there for a bit over a year now, and it is one of my favorite spots in town to grab a beer. One of my favorite things about the brewery is the fact that it is dog friendly. They have going through a bit of a transition recently where they are open on more days and have expanded their offerings (including wines now also). They have a lot of live music going on, and generally have a food truck out front for the hungry people. Did I mention it is dog friendly yet... bring your pooch and just hang out while you enjoy some delicious local craft beers. Dog water bowls are available, so you never have to worry about drinking alone. They also have corn hole, tiki toss, a pool table, big jenga, some couches, some tables, and a big screen for game days. Staff is always awesome and super friendly and know all the products very well. If you want to sample any of their beers, please feel free to ask.

Yelp
I really enjoyed our time at Panther Island Brewing. For $10, we received a pub glass (to keep) and three bottle caps that we exchanged at the bar for three beers. My hubby and I decided to split a tasting. The host gave us another pub glass (to keep) because it was our first time. This was such a sweet gesture and made sharing so much easier. All of the employees were beyond friendly and the overall environment was extremely chill. They had a food truck outside and a variety of lawn games inside, including corn hole and foosball. We drank the seasonal beer (with peaches), Allergeez and their darker beer. All were great and went down easy. I would gladly support them if I saw their beer in a store. The only downside was the lack of seating. We found a picnic table outside, but being in the middle of the summer was extremely hot. Can't wait to come back soon!

Yelp
Like this place. Stopped here with my wife and we just left the airport. Wanted to have a beer and stopped here. Great customer service and great beer. They also have wine available for those who don't want a beer. The music is mixed with old school rock and newer alternative music really like it.

Yelp
Amazing beers on tap , the brunette lady serving us was amazing as well. Very pleasant and didn't rush us .. good vibes all around .. celebrated te husbands birthday there . Everything was clean and bathrooms were sparkly clean ..

Yelp
I am an unabashed sucker for Allergeez. Cannon Ball is a close second. Damn-good beer here. The vibe at PIB is great. Friday night, a lit-up location tucked away just acrosse the Trinity on the north side of downtown is such a smart operation. This place packs out when they roll open their doors. It's dog friendly and they usually have a food truck parked outside and live musicians parked inside. Two reason why PIB gets 4 stars instead of 5: a) in the crazy TX heat I sometimes wish for some indoor seating. b) Sometimes their beer needs to be colder... sorry friends, a little more chill on the beer would put you over the top.

Yelp
They have two of my fav beers: allergiez (made with honey) and their seasonal peanut butter stout. The brewery is a fun space with indoor and outdoor tables. They have a variety of games, lots of pretty lights, a band, food trucks etc. At dusk/night the view of downtown is beautiful! Love this brewery for their beer and ambiance.

Yelp
Nice local brewery with a simple tap house facing downtown cowtown. I've been to four local breweries. Most are simple warehouse type setups physically geared more around production, with their weekly tasting events more or less scattered around the inside amongst brewing and bottling equipment. While that is true of Panther Island, they have taken time to put in a little ambience. A live musician was cranking out respectable toons with his guitar while we stood around at tables talking. I noted billiards are offered and there is a massive TV, amongst other things. The inside is touched up with their own personal flair to compliment the old building. Parking is tricky as there really is no parking. Find a spot somewhere down the abandoned roads among the mostly empty lots. A bit unsettling after dark. The beer is tasty and cold and follows a similar pattern as most breweries for pricing and tasting. As the sun sets, the lights from downtown Fort Worth begged to be admired. Great place, interesting location, and a cool part of the Fort Worth cultural scene. Recommended.

Yelp
Already had a tshirt from Shirts on Tap. They have a big screen for football and (what my boys love) an air hockey table! So my husband and I relaxed while they played. Their Sweet Fang I like the best. But then there's chocolate flavor soooooo of course I like it best Nice casual place to visit. Everyone is friendly and eager to help you.

Yelp
Spent a Saturday afternoon here trying out their different beers. Husband likes stouts and I like light beers. We were able to find beers that we each liked. I had the Tailgater and Allergeez. Both are light beers. Preferred Allergeez over the other. Husband tried the RoadTrip Snacks beer that is made with Buccees Beaver Nuggets. He liked it. Lots of tables to sit inside or outside. No food service but asked and they are looking at having a permanent food truck soon. Also had live entertainment.

Yelp
Came to Panther Island Brewing for a wedding reception. So this review is for the venue more than the beer. But had a GREAT experience here. I would estimate the room can accommodate 200 comfortably, more than that would be possible but would feel tight. The room was nicely decorated and space thought out very well. Open bar and cocktail stations were across the room from each other. A mixture of sitting and standing tables and some sofa circles gave opportunities for smaller social groups to form naturally. We found ourselves in conversations with strangers who were sitting or standing near us. I'm a stout guy and tried the Sweet Fang seasonal which is a peanut butter chocolate milk stout. All things good in a single stout! I wish it had a bit more bite, but he flavor was good. My dye had Allergies and enjoyed it. The food was tasty and brought out at comfortable intervals to keep the party moving along. Decorations were creative, mixing docking pallets, glass, metal, and lights in a festive way that blended well with the brewing equipment in the room. Crab cakes, unusual cheese (California's Windsor with cranberries in was particularly delicious) tamales, deviled eggs, and the best tostadas I've ever had, kept us satisfied throughout the evening. If you're looking for a venue for a party or reception for 100-250 people, Panther Island Brewing will take good care of you!

Yelp
This place is a must visit if you are anywhere nearby. It is so cool and chill. The service is impeccable and it is a really different place compared to just a ho hum bar. It is definitely a place to visit if you are looking to show someone a good time in Ft Worth
google avatar

Yelp
Brewery with a really cool vibe, it's in a warehouse which is open and decorated in a cool relaxing artistic way. The beer was good and we probably could have stayed here longer except we were short on time since we were trying to get to Fort Worth stockyards for the stampede that afternoon. I guess my note to you is give it a little extra time, it's probably worth it. I probably would've given it five stars but it didn't seem like there was any outside seating which would have brought it up to five for me. If you get there and it does have outdoor seating then I guess it just wasn't apparent to me what time I was there. Cheers

Yelp
Nice tap room in a typical brewery setting. Family friendly with games to entertain everyone. The beer is good as well. Red river snake blood, a barrel aged blood orange ipa was my favorite. Their stout, Sweet fang, was almost like a chocolate milk, very nice.

Yelp
Lovely brewery on the outskirts of downtown Fort Worth. The brewery is situated at the corner of Main St and NW 4th, looking into downtown right off the Trinity River. I've been to all of the breweries here in Cowtown and this is for sure one of the better ones. They're family and dog-friendly so it's got a nice, little vibe going. PIB has the usual variety of games, nice lighting and ambiance, food trucks, and delicious beer! My favorite beer here is the Allergeez, a honey, chamomile, and rose infused Wheat Ale. So good! If you're here, make sure to try this one out if you enjoy wheat beers. My other go-to is the Sweet Fang, a unique chocolate/peanut butter milk stout. This 6.0% ABV beer is so delicious. It's not overly heavy or too dark, but it definitely hits the spot. When I was here, I noticed the Love Potion (a Hibiscus and Dragonfruit blonde ale) but didn't get a chance to try it out. Will definitely be back to taste that one!

Yelp
Imagine when you were a kid and you wanted to create a "secret hangout", or club for you and your friends... this place is it! Highlights: -Pet friendly! Yaaaas! Give me ALL of the fur babies!! -Crafted beer (if that's your thing). - Charitable beer options that benefit Dobermans (I'm down)! -Small snacks for sale (and cost efficient, too)! -Delicious Kombucha on tap! Lowlights: - Lopsided pool table (I wish people could play on it because I really wanted to whoop my boyfriend's ass) -Large, but small? The interior space is rectangular and seems very large when a handful of people are present, but once it's packed, it's packed. -Lack of seating (when it's full). Overall it's a decent place to hang out with your friends.
google avatar

Matthew W.

Yelp
This is a very cool brewery with a lot of space inside and outside for seating. It is in the up and coming area of town. There is a great selection of beers and flight options, many games to play, and you can bring outside food. The last time I was here was in February or March 2020 before COVID restrictions started, hopefully not much has changed other than distancing. There is PLENTY of room here to spread out to feel comfortable. If you are looking for a reason to get out and want some local brews, you should give them a try.
google avatar

Tommy C.

Yelp
Pretty cool brewery. Lots of board games, bar games, live music and of course Beer! The beer is good, a couple flavors are a bit outside my preference, but I'm sure there are those that enjoy them. I dig their logo and clothing. Overall a great spot to hang with friends and through a few back.
google avatar

Katy S.

Yelp
This place has great vibes. Came on a Sunday afternoon and there was live music, football, and plenty of games. Beer is good and this is a great place to chill and be on a nice day. Great beer and great atmosphere. Also the clean bathrooms are a plus. I definitely want to come here again with some friends to check it out at night.

Yelp
Whoaooo....if you've been here before you'll know this is NOT a good change - the NEW "RAD" special is: no glass and beers are $5 on FRIDAY ONLY and $5 - $8 depending on ABV Th/Sat/Sun. They don't even offer a smaller pour / tasting for less and the people pouring are not cool about letting you taste (from out experience, my husband and I each got to taste one before the guy told us we needed to decide and there was no line behind us). Not only that there's no fun place to really hang out outside so at least if you're going to change to this format have a fun courtyard with seating to hang out. Bring back the tastings that give you a glass with 3 beers for $10!!! There's many more fun places to drink this beer for the same price but other places will have more options for guests, seating and will let you sample beers and be nice about it.
google avatar

Brandon R.

Yelp
Appearantly "according to TABC rules you can't stand during coronavirus or we will be shut down for 30 days so you need to pick a seat and sit down"... At least according to the waitress with flower tattoos who verbally berated me. Train your staff to be better at customer service or you are going to lose business. I've been coming here for years and unfortunately I probably won't come back. I would avoid this place in the short term, at least until they compare their policies other local breweries.
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Great beer selection and a wonderfully funky place in Fort Worth. We both had the blonde and it was very tasty. I would Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Dallas Fort Worth area.
google avatar

Natalie F.

Yelp
The beer is very good but the thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is the terrible parking. For a Friday night, they only had two bartenders which caused a long line. Everything else is wonderful and the bar has a great atmosphere with live music.
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
While coming into town to stay for a few days we stopped by to pickup some beer to go. I did an online beer to go order and it was easy and I like that they have packs but also easy options for other things on tap. I don't often want a growler so the smaller sizes are nice. Pickup was easy we pulled up, called and they brought it safely to our car. We tried IPAs and Gose and were happy with both. It looks like a cool vibe and would love to come in person sometime after the pandemic.

Yelp
Legit some of the best beer Fort Worth has to offer!! You can't go wrong with any of their beers. They have baller events and support several other local businesses. Humble peeps with the best attitudes and pet friendly?!? Two thumbs up and an easy 5 stars.
google avatar

J Warren R.

Yelp
On Fridays, in the late afternoon, for $10 you get a brewery glass and three beers. Well, really only a half if you choose the IPA with 8% ABV. I was surprised that there were only four beer choices, but that is what there was. The beer is served in a brewery warehouse with a large screen TV, showing sports. There are games available like cornhole and a wood stack that you try to pull pieces and restack them. Outdoors there are tables. Two guys with guitars entertained the happy hour crowd with music. A Food Truck was available. Overall, Panther Island is a very pleasant place to enjoy happy hour with your friends. Best wishes - we can always use more beer.
google avatar

Scott A.

Yelp
My last visit to Panther Island Brewing will be my last visit, lol. Pours are now over priced, no live music, below average service....why was I there again? I was a fan but not anymore. Sad because I remember the place when it was fun. Last visit was a Friday night, now I can't get that time back.
google avatar

Tonya B.

Yelp
We love this place. We've been there probably 5 or 6 times. The beer is very good (although limited selection), and at $10 for 3 pints and a glass, it's a good value. What we enjoy most though is the atmosphere and the people who work there. It's a fun place to hang out with other people who like beer and chilling. It's great for families (foosball, jenga, etc) and pet friendly. The decor is pretty - i think it'd make a great wedding reception venue. Parking is no problem, which is uncommon with breweries in DFW. And you can bring in whatever food you want. They're open Friday nights, when there's live music and food trucks, and Sunday to just chill and watch the big screen. Give it a try!
google avatar

Jase S.

Yelp
The ambience and staff: 5 stars. The beer: 3 to 4 stars. The deal: for $10 get 4 beers, or 3 beers + souvenir glass.

Yelp
I was in town for the weekend and my Fort Worth friend's wanted to meet up a Panther Island Brewing. I had never heard of it, so I immediately did some research and got a little excited. It's a new location and located just north of the capital building on Main. Other than that I really had no idea what to expect. We met up at about 7pm on a Friday evening. When we pulled into the parking lot I was shocked at how many cars there were and the crowd of people lined up to get in. We eventually found a parking spot on a dark street in back and got in line. The line was super fast. They take you credit card fyi and it is $10 for a wrist band. There are 3 tickets on the wrist band for your 3 drinks. The $10 is paying for the pint glass, which was badass and the wristband. The inside was literally like a warehouse and to the right was all the brewing stuff. As we made our way through the swarm of people towards the back was the bar where people were lined up to get their brews. The lighting inside was pretty cool. The hoola hoop sting lights made for a nice effect. There were some tables and couches about, but there were full of groups of people. When I got to the front of the line I noticed some of the names of the beers were interesting. I started off easy with the Real Good, then I had the Allergeez and then the Cannonball. They were all great! I did not try the IPf'nA. My friends and I stood in a circle in the middle of the warehouse for a couple of hours and had a great time socializing. Panther Island has a good thing going for sure! If I have a chance I would definitely come back here.
