Pantry Pizza & Kitchen

Overall I was disappointed with this experience. I placed a pickup order and was told it would be 15 minutes at 1252. I didn't leave the store until 130 ish after arriving in 15 minutes. The cheesy garlic bread was okay but pretty bland, same with the chicken on the chicken bacon ranch fries. The wings were good but overall the food was good not great. The portion sizes are nice though.

Just ordered from Pantry for the first time. I was not impressed. I ordered the Greco Pizza and a slice of Carrot Cake. The pizza is not very good. The crust is very bland, and tough. I ordered directly from the restaurant, and when the pizza arrived it was all ready Luke warm. The cheese portion was generous, but again, no flavor. The spinach had an odd taste, the canned olives are what you expect, and the chicken was OK. I think there was supposed to be feta on the pizza, if it was it was more bland then the Mozzarella. The carrot cake had a hint of carrot cake flavor, and the frosting was good. I would not recommend pizza from here, especially when the area has many other terrific pizza options.

We've been ordering takeout from Pantry Pizza since it opened many years ago, mostly pizza and subs. We always enjoyed the food and quick delivery. But tonight I ordered a Greek salad. It was UNBELIEVABLE! It was huge. The 9" round container was filled to the brim. It contained fresh mixed greens, a whole cut tomato, 3 plump pepperoncini, crisp red onions, green peppers, Greek olives and a pile of feta cheese. The delicious dressing was in a separate container so the salad did not get soggy. It also came with an ample piece of pita bread. All for about $11. Highly recommend!

Very unfriendly customer service! We made a phone order. The lady sounded very annoyed when we wanted to double check the items and how much it costed. She even whispered “Oh my God!” on the phone. We have ordered from Pantry so many times and loved it, but this kind of servicing is losing your customers.

From out of state craving pizza and we ordered delivery from here at night. Jalapeño poppers were warm crunchy and tasty. Also delivery cost was so affordable. However the Hawaiian pizza was horrendous. The worst pizza I’ve ever ate. We could barley finish it. The chicken and bacon was super stale. Barely any sauce. Chunks of tomato’s that tasted like it was in a freezer for weeks. Pineapple had no flavor.

A family-friendly pizzeria with a fun atmosphere. The Hawaiian pizza was surprisingly tasty, with sweet and savory flavors. Service was fast, and the kids loved it!

Avoid this place. The bread on my turkey club sandwich was stale, which made the toast hard as bricks.. I told the cashier and he denied the bread was stale. So I asked for (un) toasted bread. He brought 3 slices of bread out to me and naturally the bread broke apart which I showed him to prove it was stale bread. He never offered anything to address the issue. I would avoid this place at all costs.

We ordered an Alfredo chicken spinach and feta large pizza and large mozzarella sticks. On the phone we said the pizza name and they went "so you want a white pizza" no I want an Alfredo spinach chicken and feta. They said okay. We picked it up and it was just Alfredo and cheese. I went back and she tried saying thats what we ordered. The kid on the phone said we didn't say anything about chicken spinach and feta. They said we didn't even know the name of the store so it was our fault. I had to tell her that I did know the name and she confirmed it was in fact the name. That my order was repeated a couple of times so it's not my ends fault. She was huffing and puffing at me. I tried getting a refund and she said they won't allow it since I apparently wasted the pizza. Mozzarella sticks weren't hot and the sauce was more liquid than marinara sauce. The second time I got my pizza not all the chicken was fully cooked. I had high hopes for this place but I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Solid pizza,good dinners, wings are ok! friendly service and always hot. Will be back.

Love love love Pantry's Hawaiian pizza (Aloha). Instead of cubed chicken, they offer shredded chicken. Make sure to get it well done and PRO TIP, add jalapeños. You'll thank me later! Pair it was an order of their wings. Low key, one of the crispiest wings around Dorchester. I tried their garlic Parmesan dip on the side, I was surprised. It was so good lol

This is more of a 3.5/5 than a 4/5, but as it's definitely better than a 3/5, I'm giving it a 4/5 since half points aren't possible on Yelp. The bottom line is that the pizza here is good - not great, but good. It's certainly not bad. It's above average but nothing too impressive. That being said, I did have a pretty plain order, and there are no complaints. 1/2 Cheese pizza: This was above average - the crust was crunchy, but a bit too crunchy for me. It had some chew but not enough for my preference, and it didn't really have that much taste (though at least it wasn't burnt). The cheese and sauce ratios were on point, and the sauce had a nice, deep flavor that puts it above plain marinara sauce. A solid cheese pizza that could have had a better crust, but it wasn't terrible. 1/2 Cheese and basil pizza: The basil did a lot of work here and it felt like an entirely different pizza from the cheese half. Maybe it was the mix of the basil and the sauce, but this really had a deeper flavor that tasted distinctly Italian. The crust was the same however, and it let this pizza down a bit, but I'd highly recommend adding basil to your pizza here. When it comes down to it, this was an above average pizza. There weren't too many substantial complaints, but there wasn't anything super distinctive that would make this a pizza I'd travel for. Still, if I were in the area, I'd probably go here again. 3.5/5!

I've been eating from Patty's for over 30 years and have always been satisfied up until this Summer. I don't know what happened but I've been disappointed the last 3 times I've ordered from there. Yesterday was the worst! Both the Italian and Meatball subs were HORRIBLE! I'm DONE! I guess all good things must come to an end.

My favorite pizza place on earth. Moved away a couple years ago and damn I miss it. Excellent pizza but don't sleep on the pastrami

I ordered a pineapple chicken pizza and some chicken wings The pizza had a taste of feathers/spoiled chicken Chicken wings were unedible. Texture was rubbery and stale like it was cooked 2 days ago

Love love love, this neighborhood spot! I live right down the street, delivery has always been prompt and the menu has a huge variety! My usuals: Astrid's creation on a sub grilled (8.5) my first time trying it was amazing! The last few times has been underwhelming. Essentially it has a "healthy" feel to it compared to a traditional steak and cheese sub. I'm a really picky eater but when I hear grilled teriyaki chicken, avocados, spinach and honey mustard; I go crazy! Those are the few things I chose to eat. Next my other options would be the crispy fried chicken- which has so many sauces and options! I typically like to order the Buffalo chicken (8.0) Honey mustard (7.5) Hawaiian teriyaki (7.0) Mango habanero (9.0) My comfort dish for football games would be the pulled pork quesadilla (9.0)

Pantry Pizza is one or the best sub shops in the Savin Hill area. No questions asked. I have been ordering from them for almost 8 years. The drivers are excellent and courteous also. Keep up the good work!

Really good grilled chicken sub with fries. Would get it again. The staff were friendly and my food was on time.

Very disappointed in my order today. Food came on time and order was correct. However, for a $11 steak and cheese sub (with extra cheese) I was extremely upset with what we received!!! Photo attached. Can't even see anything resembling cheese, and from the second I picked up the sandwich before unwrapping it I could tell something was off. There's hardly ANY MEAT!! And my pizza didn't have ANY of the toppings I ordered and PAID FOR! Just a plain old cheese pizza. Tried to call back but no answer. I used to love this place! Would rant and rave about it to others. But slowly with each order, one or two things go wrong and I'm slowly learning my lesson. Sad times :(

Pizza was below subpar it was supposed to be a thin crust and it was a traditional style. I called the location and said my pizza was supposed to be thin crust and she noted all of our pizzas are thin crust. Wtf, The flavor was meh .

The hours got away from me and I had limited options. I ordered a salad from Pantry Pizza and the next day was violently sick. Never again.

I took a chance and ordered an Italian sub from this business. I left instructions for them in the detail box. They didn't follow them. Left out the mayo. When I called the establishment the woman said "well Italians usually don't have mayo. They have oil. " Needless to say, both were missing on the sandwich, and the attitude was not appreciated at all. The filling was kinda old, specifically, the tomatoes. She informed me that that they would deliver a new one. I wasn't happy about that, particularly when she said "save the old one and we'll switch it out." I had already put my own mayo on it. On top of which the driver called me from the wrong address on the first attempt. Had to wait another 10 minutes before he could find my address. Overall, I cannot recommend this place at all.

I ordered 15 pizzas for delivery for Post Game food for the Umass Boston Lacrosse team. Pizzas were awesome! Delivered hot, great sizes and very fresh. The team loved it and many if them asked where I got them and plan to order themselves!

Burnt pizza no flavor at all.. all grease... don't recommend at all. Save your money.. better pizza in the north end..

Extremely disappointed. After reading good reviews, I had hoped for a much better experience, especially since Pantry is located very close to my home and would be a convenient spot for regular take out. I ordered a chicken parm sub and a Caesar salad. I specially asked for the bun to be crispy and not soggy. When it arrived, the bun was super soggy, only 2 barely visible slices of cheese (under the chicken?), soggy breaking on the chicken, and the chicken was extremely dry and stringy. On top of all of this, I paid $24.00 for this crappy sub and tiny bowl of lettuce, only to also have it take over an hour and a half to be delivered. Extremely disappointed.

We order wings/subs/salads/pizza a few times a month and have rarely been disappointed (except today when we got a sausage parm sub instead of the meatball parm sub we ordered.) The wings have stayed consistently good even with the new ownership. If you can eat them hot, that's when they are the best. Very large, crunchy, good simple seasoning on the original (we always get Buffalo sauce on the side). The salads are also very large and fresh. I've gotten the west coast a few times and only recently felt like there wasn't enough chicken... Pizza is good, also best when eaten hot. It's good reheated too. The only thing that has bothered us is the inconsistency with packing us ketchup. Take today for example, we got (the wrong) sub but also did not receive any ketchup to go with the side of fries we ordered. It's gotten pretty bad especially because when we call it in we specially ask for ketchup. So overall, we will continue to order food from pantry but will also make sure to always have ketchup at home.

Had a large cheese and pepperoni delivered. The pizzas were great and they were delivered early. Will definitely order from here again.

Steak and cheese. Ordered extra steak and extra cheese....it had neither. Is there some cheese shortage I'm unaware of?? Every time I get this sandwich it's got virtually no cheese! I'll gladly give the rating another star or even the full five if they just were just more generous with the toppings. GO SOX!

Our go-to pizza place in the neighborhood. Lots of variety. Always on time. I like their wings too. Can't go wrong here.

The place is super convenient, but the pizza is not really good... there just isn't a lot of flavor. They usually have slices if you want to stop in quick. The chicken is dry and not seasoned so it's not great on the pizza. Also they don't have chicken bacon ranch available on their online ordering BUT they always have it in the slices. When you order a CBR it's super expensive because they charge per topping. The sandwiches are alright depending on what you get, I usually get the renzo which is good and they have tons of toppings you can add.

Got a Fish Sub for the 1st time here @ Pantry Pizza & it was DELICIOUS!!! & 1st time LIKING SubShop Tarter Sauce ever!!!

I love pantry pizza formerly Pattys Pantry! This place has been a staple my entire life! When they revamped things a few years ago and turned into Pantry Pizza it changed for the better! This place has amazing food! I've tried most of the menu items and the favorites are the pizza particularly we love the hamburger pizza! My dad loves the steak and cheese and my niece is a fan of the buffalo wings. When no one wants to cook we go to pantry pizza! If you are a new user make sure you order online they give you five dollars off of your order. The prices are pretty reasonable as is so that's an added bonus! The delivery is also super fast! The food always arrives warm and I've never had a mistake when it comes to an order. They are very nice and accommodating. I've never had a problem just great quality food hot and ready when I order.

Very friendly people and great service! I went in for pickup and this place was live! 4 delivery drivers in and out on top of a ton of customers! The food was amazing!

Be CAREFUL!! I ordered online and decided to pay at store; however I was going to pay with my card, this guy asked. 1- to hand him my card (Verizon from the point of sale was perfectly working) 2- My zip code and charged me 7 times the amount. After that happened, same night I saw an online purchase which obviously was made by that guy. Since I ordered on-line the already have my correct address, my full name and phone number. He only needed my CVV ( 3 digits from the back of my card) That is scam and to take your money on my face. BE CAREFUL

I ordered a chicken quesadilla from this place and was extremely disappointed. They literally only sent me boiled, shredded chicken and cheese, and no seasoning. will never order again from here.

You can not go wrong with this place. Generous portions and delicious. We ordered a medium pizza, wings, potato skins with steak, A1, bacon and mozzarella cheese and the hangover burger with curly fries. Everything was perfect. We ate there which I don't think is the usual but they brought us plates and napkins without missing a beat. I suspect they have more delivery and pick up then eat in. I highly recommend this place. Great food, decent prices and friendly staff. I think this was the best bang for the buck we've had these last four days in Boston. Plus, a Pokestop within reach!!

Can't go wrong with Pantry, ever. Not overpriced and tastes like quality ingredients. Not the best pizza in Boston but if this is a great regular spot to be a regular at if you live near by.

Love this.place! Everytime I'm in Dorchester, I make it a point to come here. Buffalo chicken pizza is so bad*ss - order it and let your mind be blown. The staff are so friendly and full of personality, I love visiting each time.

Pizza was Greaaaaaat, my steak and cheese was dry. The steak and cheese Sub was room temperature and tasteless. Delivery was fast, pizza was hot and cheesey. Size medium pizza brings 6 small slices

I visited Pantry Pizza shop today so I walked in while vacationing in Boston my friends look at the menu I thought of freshing up and as am walking towards what my friend had said was the bathroom door the cashier asked me where was I going I turned around and said I like to freshen up before sitting down to eat she said no Public Bathroom here, to which I thought I need to understand this am spending my money here but can't Wash my hands before I eat here???? No I won't recommend this place to anyone so I asked for the manager she said it wasn't there minutes later a lady walks in the one in the picture and went straight to the kitchen and scream M.,....F..... to someone who was in the back so never going back and if you respect yourself don't go either

The pizza at it's prize is a quality slice. Honestly, the value is hard to beat and it's tasty. I've ordered a burger and believe there is room for improvement.

Food is always great. Staff is always friendly and the service is A1. Dorchester staple!

They're always great about substitutions, ie pastrami for ham on their Border burger. The staff is friendly and remembers their regulars. Their burgers are AWESOME. Can't go wrong with the curly fries or mozzarella sticks either. Delivery takes awhile so I usually walk to pick it up, but honesty, that's the only thing not overwhelmingly positive in 3 years eating here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Aight Pantry, I've loved you for years now but unfortunately the quality on your chicken parm sandwich has gone way down and I thus have to downgrade you. You used to use full chicken tenders on the sando but now you dice them up into little pieces, for what I can only assume is to save on the actual amount of chicken. Also, you used to do fresh mozzerella but now you use bagged grated cheese. The price of the sandwich hasn't gone down, in fact, it's gone up, so why is the quality less? Happy to re-review when quality has improved to your old standard!

Returning pantry pizza costumer, they never disappoint. Tonight I had an annoying gluten free order and the women answering the phone were very accommodating and helpful. Thank you Pantry Pizza! Little Italy Pizza was delicious and so is the gluten free crust

Pantry Pizza you are most certainly awesome, I had a lovely experience here today. It's kinda the perfect location. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and really easy to talk to. Every thing I've tried until now has been awesome. I would recommend Pantry Pizza.

Ordered an XL pizza and it arrived pretty burnt. The crust is my favorite and that was charred so not edible.

As a New Yorker my standards for pizza is high and Pantry definitely meets them!! Was very impressed. Loved the pizza and it'll probably become my new go-to.

Been a Dorchester native for one a year now and although we had a rough start, Pantry pizza has become my favorite place on dot ave! It's to the point where my boyfriend will ask what I want as take out and he'll answer his own question like... "Let me guess? Pantry pizza!!" And I'll simply reply with a "you know it"..

I've always loved Pantry. I ordered tonight and the pizza was better than ever. I also tried the cheesey gravy fries-- so good! The delivery was expected for 45 mins to an hour but got here early (only 30 minutes or so!) Delivery driver was super polite and also brought the food to the front door (unheard of these days, most places call and expect you to meet them at their car!) I seriously think this is the best place to order from in Dorchester! We're lucky to have them! Thank you for delicious pizza + service, Pantry!

I was worried about not ordering enough food, but 3 pizzas were WAY more than enough for 12 people. These larges are 8 gigantic slices. I also got a small catered order of grilled vegetables - green peppers, onions, mushrooms - got lots of compliments from the staff I ordered for. Overall, the service was on time and convenient. The person who took my order made sure to carefully understand what I was ordering, repeated back my order and told me the total cost. Not a bad price, either!

Management won't heat pizza. I've been coming here for about a year. The pizza is good, but now I was informed that they will not heat up slices. Apparently the new pizza heater keeps the food worm. Nope! It does not. And it's ridiculous they won't allow it. I won't go back.

Roast beef sub is soo good! I don't live in Boston only come on the weekends and this will now be a weekend thing. Thank you!

BEST PIZZA IN DORCHESTER!!! Pizza, calzones, loaded Potato skins and specialty subs are my Favorite! A large pizza is WAYY bigger than you would expect. 9/10 times I call I get the same girl taking my order and she is fantastic! Order here tonight and get your pizza well done (more likely to get well done when calling) and you will not regret it! TIP: call in your order or order it on their website; delivery is only $1 unlike if you order from foodler it's $4

I have my buffalo pizza here and they're the best. You guys should try it. It makes me water in my mouth when typing this lol, it is bc the sour and spicy taste on top of the cheesy bite... hmmm so yummy!

This pizza is too freaking good! We had the mamas garden and pantry salad tonight. We ordered for pick up and it was a quick pick up and get home to devour. Maybe the California pizza just isn't cutting it compared to this, but it is delicious.
